First she had made him breakfast in bed and well she wouldn't lie if she said that their bed in their house was her favourite spot. It was so comfortable that in the mornings she had difficulty getting out, just staring at the ceiling would be great. Her pillow was helpful when she read in bed and it was just like a ship in the ocean. It was their everything, they had the most important conversations in their bedroom and the baby had gotten so much love from the two of them when he laid with them on the bed. It was everything. The house, still quite too big to Hanako's liking was just for her mostly the kitchen and the bedroom. She did spend time in the dining room and the living room, mostly when she watched television with G but she could do that in the bedroom as well. This was the room that basically carried everything and was okay to have dinner at. But that's not how the world worked and not how she would work in general but she was able to spend hours upon hours in this room.
And now she was just still doing that, breakfast had been surprisingly good and she hoped he had liked it but she had no words, she was still drowsy but mostly because she might have eaten too much and woke up too early to sneak downstairs to make it. So carefully she had been and she planned to spoil him with all the presents. Last year, around new year she wasn't all too happy and scared and she intended to make it better, his birthday, his year and hers. It would just be a step by step protocol but it would work. She had homemade cake, although she had made that last night so if he had looked into the fridge after she left the kitchen it wouldn't be a surprise anymore. But there was a lot of preparation into today and she simply hoped today would be the best day in a long list of best days that they would spend together.

It was his birthday and he had a marvelous breakfast. Hana outdid herself. Now that he was done and she took the tray away, G remained in bed because he did not want to move. He doesnt mind staying in bed til noon. He turned to Hana and then kissed her and cuddled with her.
"You're the most amazing woman in my life" he kisses her and then speaks to her "If I could be the half of person you are" he hugs her. "I need to repay you for everything. I feel like I owe you so much"
He kissed her again and again, before finally stopping and resting his head on her pillows. He smiled. He also wondered if he could hear her heartbeat
He felt like he owed her his life and everything. He felt he always harmed her and gave her so much shit. And she was still such an angel, being this good to him. He needed to repay her. Maybe a date like that festival or picnic. But what? Thats what he thought. What could he do for her when her birthday comes. Mmmmm, she was so soft. She was so amazing
"I love you" he said

She got up from the bed, put the tray on the make-up table again and tucked her t-shirt down a little before climbing back in bed. The bed was the best place to be. Everything close at hand and she had opened the door a little to the room of their baby boy, but still asleep, lucky her. "Did you sleep well?" She asked caring, as she put her head on his shoulder as she nuzzled close before he even kissed her and held her. "I believe you said this also before we had breakfast." But she laughed about it, it made her rather happy every time he complimented her and kissed her. Yes, she was afraid of many things and it was easily that her mood was ruined. She was afraid of that, and the influence on everything that it would touch and be able to reach. It was not the time to think about it again as he kissed her again. "Don't be like me, I rather have you." She whispered against his skin as he held her and she just wanted to be held. "Baby, our love is an equal matter, you do not have to repay me, you already do by caring for me and our little one." She did not feel like he owed her so much. She felt like she made his life and decisions so much more difficult and she did not know how he could keep up with her mood swings. Again it was not the time for that and his kisses helped her distract. She played with his hair when he laid down, moving her fingers in there, twirling it around the tip of her finger, combing it softly and lightly with her nails. Hm, if the morning would never pass this would be fine.
She giggled softly, which was easily heard, and her heart skipping a beat, and beating very fast in her chest, "You said that before too." She said, "But I still love you too." She could not maybe get enough of it. She used to hate romance, did not think it was worth it, she had thought to never fall in love and yet she did and did not dare to speak. Being pushed aside and invisible, that's what she always had been but look at her now. She was very convinced that she was doing fine right now, at this exact moment on his birthday. But she knew another moment could destroy this, which was why she wished they could stay like this forever.

Hana climbed back in bed and asked G if he slept well "Like a baby~" he told her lovingly, because he loved Hana and it was true. Ever since he was with Hana, he was able to sleep peacefully. The cure of his insomnia, it was Hana. She gave him something wonderful and he couldnt thank her enough. G told her he needs to repay her, but Hana said he already told her that. He chuckled "I know I did." maybe he will massage Hana
Hana also said that he shouldnt be like her, she would rather want him. That made his heart melt as she whispered that against him, and it sent a shiver down his spine. That felt so good. He said how he loves her, and his words once again made him flutter. Their love is equal, no need to repay her, tha he already did that by caring for her and their lil one. "Oh baby" he said and hugged and kissed her. He couldnt keep his hands off of her. He snuggled her, nuzzled her and loved her.
Hana played then with his hair when he laid down. He smiled because he loved her and loved whatever she did. He loved her and said that. Hana said he already told her that "I could never say that enough times~" he told her. |

She was giggling as he said like a baby, one day they get another baby and she was actually not afraid of that. She was just not thinking about it too much, not now, they had other things to do. She brushed his hair away and was actually so happy that they were so together. There were so many ups and downs lately, she wasn't even sure what to think about it. She was still a little tired but that happened when you got up during the night, got up during the early morning, hm it was nice. She was glad about this and she smirked, "I like if you repeat it though." But he had to make sure that he shouldn't repay her, he was fine. She wanted him. So she would say that, she would have to say much more. She lay close to him and let him kiss and hug her. Today was his day and she would just enjoy it herself. She wanted him to have the best day for today, they were still young and yet she felt quite a lot. "You need to have the best day today."
She turned on her stomach and twirled a piece of his hair, "I could not hear it enough times, but I love you too." She whispered, but she heard a little cry, oh, their little boy was awake.

G held his beloved wife and kissed her before telling her "Today is the best day of my life. I have you, our children, Kai and our littlest one" he places his hand on her. And then he kisses her again "I love you. I love you and I love you. I cant say that enough times." he then brushed her hair and then he nuzzled her and kissed her neck a few times, before just hugging her and pulling her closer to him.
Soon, their heard a cry. Their little baby boy woke up
"My my, looks like someone wants our attention." he said and then stretched a bit before getting up and walking over to Kai in his lil crib. "Good morning to you too" G then goes to pick him up. He was still a bit clumsy with baby handling. So he turned to Hana "Erm? Expert opinion? Is he hungry?" he was kinda afraid to smell the bum to see if Kai did a poo poo. So he called Hana to come and assist him with Kai. He hoped the boy was just lonely and needed to hang out with his awesome parents. That would be neat

She smiled a little and giggled as he held her and she nodded, "Yes, we do." She was happy about that too. It was something she could look forward to, it was something that made her happy, to have a purpose herself as she seemed to screw up and screw over everything else, so how else could she consider that. Hanako gave a soft sigh though but one that clearly let you hear the sound that she was content. Content in his arms and she giggled only more when he kissed her and spoke the words I love you many more times and she looked at him as he brushed her hair away, she giggled again as he kissed her and nuzzled and she blushed a little. She wasn't sure when was the last time she felt so happy? When she felt like she could do something, even if it was just making him breakfast in the morning on his birthday. Even if it was anything important, it was important to make sure that they loved each other and she did, with whole her heart and those talks, her feelings, they could wait another day, today she did not feel like anything was bothering her.
She closed her eyes as she had her head on his chest, her hands underneath her chin and just relaxed while laying on top of the man that was her husband, "Happy twenty-seventh." She mumbled a little sleepy but she was awake, she was again just enjoying the moment before she heard a cry and heard G saying he would go. She shook her head mildly and got off and sat upright and watched him get to the room next door and she could just hear and see him and she smiled as he greeted their baby boy. It was a miracle he had been still asleep at this fine hour. "Expert opinions are difficult from here, just change his diaper, no harm in it." It might just a heavy one from anything else than poop and she would get the baby boy his breakfast after that, when he had a clean one. Making sure he could get some love and attention of both of his parents. She held him shortly after in his hands to give him what he needed and looked at him, "I think he looks like you," Even if he had her hair colour and her eyes it was the structure of little Kai's face that reminded her of G, the curiousity in his eyes though maybe came from both as he held up his hands while sucking for his milk and trying to catch someone's attention.

Hana was his sweetheart and he loved how she relaxed and layed on top of him, she mumbled to him happy 27th. He smiled and quietly said "Thank you"
Soon their little Kai called them with a cry and G volunteered to go and check, buuut he couldnt tell was this hunger or a poo poo. And G wasnt brave enough to see if it was poo poo
G called for an expert opinion for some help, but Hana said he could just change the diaper. G nodded and did just that. He had a bit of practice done. So he was competent enough to do the deed without Hana monitoring him. He was proud of it. He kissed and hugged Kai. But realized he had to throw a diaper. So he looked, Kai, diaper, Kai, diaper, Kai, diaper. G of course chose Kai and he took Kai to his mommy so the boy could have his delicious meal. G wanted to throw that diaper he left but stopped when Hana spoke. He looked at her "He does?... Are you sure?" he walked back to her and Kai and then he got closer to Kai just to get a look at the baby.

Her eyes closed, cheek on her hands that were folded under her head, that's how she lay. The small woman, it fitted perfectly and her moments of fear had been gone. The past month had ups and downs. The ups high but that made the fall towards the down only the more painful. But she was doing fine now. She missed his thank you but she knew already in a way that he would say so. She was just relaxing before their baby started to cry. She had to get up to let G go towards the little baby and she would rub her eyes and sit up straight to make her way to the end of the bed and simply see what G was doing and relax.
She smiled though, it might be tough, but she was always happy to see her husband cuddling their son. She raised an eyebrow when he looked from the diaper to Kai and back. They did have a small trash can there but both prefered to throw it away outside as fast as they could and she simply watched him, without giving an idea or suggestion. She held up her arms when he offered the little boy to her and she would shush him a little, as he was still making the long sobs, not really crying but not really happy either. Time to get his breakfast. But he didn't and she was looking at him, brushing his short black hairs away and mentioning that he looked like G. She looked up at her man and nodded, "Yes," She let him come closer and see, finally Kai took his time to do what she hoped he would and she could focus on the rest of the day. "He has your nose, the shape of your eyes." Though they were blue but and so on. She could see it, maybe it wasn't very clear because the obvious things were from her but still, she loved him anyway.

G was surprised that Kai looked like him considering he believed Hana's genes were more dominant. Hana explained that Kai has his nose and shape of eyes. G couldnt really see it, but the way Hana said it made him blush. He felt a bit bashful.
He watched Hana feed Kai, but then remembered he wanted to throw the diaper away where it belongs. And thats not in this room. He went to throw it in the trashcan where the other trash was. After that he washed his hands, because ew germs.
When he did that, he walked back over to Hana and Kai. Seeing the two of them just made him smile. He soon sat beside Hana and watched their little baby boy
"He is so adorable" G said when he looked at Kai, and of course he then looked at Hana "And you are beautiful" he kisses her. "You are my perfect birthday present. The gift that keeps on giving." he kisses her cheek "Every day with you is my gift" and if she ever needs anything he would help her. Yeah, so what if its his birthday? Doesnt mean he gets to be a lazy bum. He wants to help and contribute

She was almost done and when Kai was done she lifted him up to pat him a little on the back. "He is, isn't he?" She agreed with the comment that he was adorable but he started to hiccup again. Was he crying again? She wasn't entirely sure what was going on. They did already change the diaper, he had his food and yet he mumbled crying again. She smiled as he kissed her, "Hmm not yet." She laughed because she felt like her eyes were little and her hair was a wild mess and so on. She only laughed though for the whole setting, the gift that kept on giving. She lowered Kai as G kissed her on the cheek as he kept on crying. "Oh baby, what's wrong?" She said with a little higher voice than normal as their baby kept on crying and she looked at G, "I don't get it." She took him up again, over his shoulder and patted his back again. She hummed a little as she stroked his back. She frowned, not entirely happy because she was worried why he kept on crying.
Hanako stood up to walk around while moving her son a little up and down, and making the shushing sound. She wasn't sure what to do and that was clearly visible on her face. What to do, "Sssh my love." Seh made a soft sound and patted him again, "Sssh, my love." she continued, shaking him softly, god what to do. He started to cry even louder and she felt almost desperate as she had no idea, he did not want his pacifier, he did not want to play with her hair and she felt getting a little desperate, he did not burp, so it wasn't that either, he did not want more milk, he did not have a dirty diaper. There was nothing.

The two were together and loving it, but Kai was crying and crying and boy did that boy not stop crying. Hana tried everything. Pacifier? No. Food? No. Diaper? No. Patting on back? No. Hair? No. What could it be?!
G then asked "Can I try?" he wanted to try and hold Kai to calm him down. Once Hana gave G his son. G started to hold the baby and pace around in a circle with Kai "Shhh.... shhh. Its ok. We're both here. Shhh"
G hoped maybe he could calm him down. Who knows maybe Kai wanted him? Like G doubted it, but it was a thought. G mimicked Hana's gestures and actions in hopes Kai would calm down. But in case that wasnt working G would try other stuff, like music. But... what if he was sick? Or in pain? That was one worry he had. Would they need to take him to a doctor? A hospital? G looked at Kai and then at Hana a bit, and then back at Kai.
"Shhhh.... Shhhh" but what more could a baby want? G had no clue, instead he persisted he calm down he baby boy this way. They can do this

Hanako her frown did not leave her face as their little baby boy kept on crying. She shook him a little up and down, trying to get him happy and giggly as he normally was, "Ssh baby boy, hush little darling." She hummed a little, but nope nothing. Nothing really, nothing and she held him up for G as he offered to take it over. It wasn't her jealousy anymore, she would not be jealous if G could get him quiet, she was so worried why he cried. In the first few days of his life it had been cramps but he did not have those anymore or so it seemed and she wondered. She watched G, while quickly moving her hair back, braiding it so she could jump up and help in case it was necessary. She bit her lip as she looked at them. Kai shortly simply whined instead of crying as he looked at his father before starting again. "Maybe he is cold, should I run a bath?" She wasn't sure what to do, was that the best she could do or what? It wouldn't be surprising, it was cold, so it could help and it could help with a little stomachache. It was the best she could think of right now.
Maybe she should call a doctor, but that was silly if nothing was wrong, maybe aunt Sayaka? What would be the worst thing to consider, calling anyone while it could be nothing?

He still didnt stop crying and G was getting nervous, Hana asked for a bath, if that would help Kai. G nodded and said "Y-yea. Sure. Y-you get the bath ready and I'll get Kai ready" he said as he hed the baby boy and tried to shush and calm him. G was worried, what if he was sick, what if he had allergies, what if he was hurting? What could IT BE!?!?
Either way, they had to act, so while Hana got the baby bath ready. G got Kai ready for the bath. So together through parental teamwork they would give their son a nice bath. G was hoping this was the key that would calm his son. Otherwise, if this wasnt it, at least Kai would be clean for a doctors visit.
G glanced at Hana, he tried to stay strong and show confidence to her to reassure her that this will all be fine. But hell if he knew, he was scared just as her or maybe even more if its possible. He couldnt stand the sight of his son crying and he would never let anything happen to him or Hana or anyone. He tried to stay calm

She nodded, the warm water might help if he had little cramps. She quickly went into the bathroom that was connected to their bedroom to get the deep sink that they had full as a little bathtub for the small one. She checked the temperature with the inside of her wrist but it was nicely lukewarm, this would be manageable. She would also get the temperature to check it later as she put it next to the sink and she would look in the doorway at G and Kai. She would check their son's temperature right before he went into the made-up bath but it seemed to be fine and she did not get it. "He has no fever, that's at least something." Should they call Nimue? Aunt Sayaka? Who? They should probably make a doctor's appointment. She let the little boy lean against her hand while she softly and slowly cupped water in her other to put over the rest of his body, he cried a little less but still seemed to be moody and unhappy. With a worried look on her face she met G's eyes. She wasn't sure what to do and she felt like on the brink of tears herself.
Kai had been a very easy baby, up until now. He knew what he wanted and knew how to give clear signs for that but now she did not get it, he wasn't hungry, no dirty diaper, she made sure the cramps would be okay but he was still sniffing and crying a little, albeit not as loud as before. "Maybe we should-we should call the doctor?" She said, unwilling actually to give in that she had no idea what to do as well as that she was very afraid of going to the doctor and would bump into another failure of her own. Today suppose to be a happy day with G's birthday but their baby was so unhappy.
