a Happy Christmas Date [Giovanni & Nimue]

"Because it isn't done yet." Though it was almost, there wasn't much more that you could add to a rough sketch in the end. She felt so tense because it ruined the surprise and it was her own fault by going all up into what she was doing, instead of paying attention to her surroundings. That also meant that in the end most of the drawing she had done by heart instead of really looking up, did it look like him was it- "Eh" She made a surprised sound as she had not noticed he had walked directly behind her to massage her shoulders. She blushed heavily because of what he said, "N-no I mean yes one day if you don't mind to-to model for me." But then she wanted to paint and not draw. She felt so shy just asking that, "I just-just wanted to give you a Christmas present." She blushed a little more or still it was hard to say. The thing was that she still wasn't very proud of not having a present and thus she looked up at him as he just kissed her on the head, "I am fine. Just a little disappointed in myself."

She turned to look back at the drawing, maybe she should stop fuzzing over it. "Do you at least like it?" He had said it was beautiful but that was before he knew it was for him. Who would want to have any more self-portraits and especially if it was just a sketch but he was a very pretty model to have. "It's done really quickly and probably not my best work but ehm yea, so I hope you liked it, and if there is anything else you want for Christmas or so I could-I could still try to get it." She tried to be very determined about it. Spending Christmas together had been enough for her but he had given her this necklace and she touched it with her fingers very softly, the cold stone around her neck and because of that... she wanted to give him something in return.

"I can do better." She pouted and that's maybe why she could not let go of the sketch in front of her. Maybe if she brought her own stuff, and the new pencils that her father had given her. She wasn't sure, but she would try and she let him massage her to calm her down and just to enjoy their Christmas. But he would at least model for her another time, "Hmm now to think of how I want you to model." She was teasing and finally she just admitted why it was such a frustration and all, she could do better and this was her present. It was stupid. She didn't know what to say but she was being honest with him and touched the pendant he had given her, it was fine. All was fine. There was a moment of distraction, talking about presents and the like before he picked her up and set her on his lap and she leaned against him in his arms. Maybe like a little girl but also maybe just like his girlfriend.

"I like that." And she licked her lips and tried to not be shy or hide her face. She was just shy now, she tried to not feel bad about anything and her amber eyes looked into his eyes and she blushed. "Thank you, you are a gentleman." She laughed a little and kissed him now too and nuzzled back. "How is the cake?" She was quite curious and if she should help prepare something for dinner for tonight, not that she knew if he had any ideas about what to eat but she was curious. What would he eat normally for Christmas in Italy? Hm, she could do not much, she was still dizzy (not that she would admit) but at least she felt fine, not nauseous or anything to ruin their day.

She bit her lip and hid her face because she wanted to laugh, "A king?" It was really funny, she didn't think too much about it but she giggled about it, "what an interesting thing to do. I was thinking about standing or sitting but maybe I will give you a crown." She could try to find pictures and maybe find a crown.

"Should we already?" She looked surprised as she thought it would be part of the desert and she kissed him again when he hugged her and thanked her for the presents. She could still doubt the worth of hers compared to his but she wanted to convince herself it was the worth of giving it and so on. She nuzzled, "What will you make for dinner and can I help?" She listened to the music that eventually was put on and she thought about it, would he dance with her? It made her want to dance and she wanted to see if he would as well. She wanted to know so much about him and enjoy her day completely with him. She thought about it and jumped up, "Want to dance with me?" She said as she twirled so her skirt would spread around her hips, it made her smile, like a little girl, this was what she liked about dresses so much.

She had not expected them to immediately go for the cooking part, but it was fun and she wanted to dance, it was nice and the Christmas songs were so cute and nice and he took her hand immediately and danced with her. She moved her hips, followed his steps as he lead her in this slow dance that fitted onto the music and she smiled at him, lost in his expression as well, her cheeks turning crimson as she kept on dancing. It was really cute and she loved it so much, it was great, god she didn't want it to stop today. The songs just continued and she put her head against his chest as they danced slowly, it was amazing.

She looked up as he let her go and said he would continue to prepare dinner. She quickly cleaned up her drawing stuff and put it on the other table so she could help with the making of the table but she felt more than she was in his way. So when it was finally done she would sit on the spot she sat before and thanked him for the food, looking happy and impressed with his food, it was probably much better than hers. She looked up at Giovanni considering she noticed he looked at her and she put the food in her mouth and looked at him with a raised eyebrow as she was chewing, "What's wrong?" She did not think to ask just in general but he looked at her and she did not get it but she smiled at him and put her fork down she would just want to see if there was something at all. "It's really tasty, I just couldn't stop eating." Because she had not complimented his food but it was the whole idea of trying everything before saying something about it.

She blushed a little, "Hm I like that, so continue." She continued to tease him by pulling out her tongue and brushing away her long green hair. Nope, she would not let it be known to her, she did blush and she felt slightly awkward but she also felt satisfied and happy about the whole idea. She continued to eat and finally gave the compliment to Giovanni and she smiled brightly at him when he thanked her, yes she had learned by now what Grazie meant and Si and some other words, "Maybe in the new year you can teach me Italian." She said because it would be rather interesting to learn another language.

She complimented him about the look of the cake as it looked like a Japanese Christmas cake and she was really happy about it, she never bought it or ate it except for her first Christmas here so it was good to start it as a first thing for everything idea. She was happy, this was a very good Christmas considering the circumstances and she enjoyed everything from it. When she finished her cake (for as far as she could) she leaned back on her chair. "I think I am ready for hibernation, I ate so much." She laughed about the idea and she would talk to him a little, she had flirted a bit with him by small motions from herself, flipping her hair, batting her eyelashes and so on. Now what to do? As she was stuffed from the food she suggested to watch a romantic Christmas movie and she curled herself up on the couch next to him. Head against his shoulder, feet folded next to her on the couch and just watching the tv. She smiled as he pulled her close and she would kiss him on his cheek and jaw before turning her attention back to the tv.

She looked up though when she noticed Giovanni wasn't looking at him. "I think my beauty might distract you too much, maybe I should blindfold you." She pulled his chin softly to her so she could kiss him as she sat up straighter. It was probably not a smart thing to do, she had no idea what to do but seriously he was so pretty, she wouldn't mind kissing him the whole time and every time if it was possible. Like she had said today before, if they could do so forever, that would be great.

She blushed the most when he put his hand on her belly, it was just a weird gesture for her because well all the things she had seen as a doctor now and well it reminded her of G and Hanako and she blushed a little and she tried to focus on him, she nodded before he kissed her on her forehead and she smiled, "Hm, every day Christmas, that sounds horrible." It was an obvious joke as she smiled at him and laughed, it was just so funny and great to have it like this, to have someone that cared about her and tried to make her happy even if it was such a small way of doing things.

But he flirted more with her and she returned the gestures before climbing on the couch and sitting next to him and flirting a little more before trying to put her attention to the movie. He made her laugh as she made another joke about blindfolding him. She laughed only more when he said he would watch the movie. "Hm, it's so difficult to watch the movie if I blindfold you." But she got up from the couch to walk to the kitchen and get a towel. She looked over her shoulder with a little smirk as she swung her hips quite well if she said so herself, but she was just joking, so she returned to his side rather quickly and kissed him, "We could pause the movie?"

She kept distracting him, it was silly but it was nice to not immediately go and watch the movie. She wanted him to give her all his attention and thus the movie kept on turning while she talked to him, kissed him and so on. She was doing fine this day, she had not even one sad thought and it was going all right and it was just very interesting and she was doing fine. This was great, she kissed him many more times, it was fine, it was Christmas. In the end she was tired of today and them running around and everything. So they did watch the movie and she did clean up herself after the whole day. It was best to go to sleep and be clean, with no sweat and all. Yes, so that was the idea. She suggested that. Take a relaxing moment in his bath and just relax the evening before she finally went to bed. She still had not told him anything, that was stupid, she had to think about it. There was just a lot to say and how to say it, it was difficult but she was just tired.

Everything had been great today and she did not want it to end, which was why she stayed the night at Giovanni's. She would wonder if she would stay here more often but for now, it was just something to not think about, they talked about new year's eve while in bed and what their plans were before deciding to make plans together and so on. It would be nice to do so. Would he not get bored with her, but she said it as a joke. They would have less time together when she had to work again and wasn't just doing research and all, but also research and going back to school. But for now she just stretched and went to sleep while laying on her stomach. She would see how to deal with everything tomorrow.
