They sat on the couch. Correction, he sat on the couch and she sat on his lap. He hugged and kissed her and snuggled her. He couldnt get enough of Nimue. Forget QED, Nimue was his number 1 drug. He was absolutely addicted to this woman. She moved her hands through his hair. But he had to stop smooching her as she spoke up and told him to wait "Hm?" she then smiled and kissed him and then she said that they can go for brunch and told him they can go to a nice restaurant. She gave him more smoochies and told him they cant do this the whole day "Aww, and I was hoping we could~" he teased
He chuckled and said "Ok, joking aside. If we go to restaurant. Do you want to choose where to go? I imagine always visiting my own restaurant will become dull and boring even if whatever you get there is free. I imagine another restaurant might feel more special if you are in a different location where both you and I are the customers" he spoke, making sure to impress her with his japanese skills as he tried to lessen the amount of mistakes and tried to keep his italian accent at bay and even use big words. He wanted to do good for her

Hm, right, after a sort of giving in that this would not come and bite her in the ass, she enjoyed her moments with Giovanni a lot more. It was much more relaxed and she no longer had the feeling that she pushed him away. Hm, his kisses were amazing. She really felt feminine, she felt beautiful. It was a bit silly and she should really come clean about her job and the like but not today. Not on Christmas. Not now, hm, definitely not now. She had to break the kiss to be able to talk to him and even though she wanted to whine to herself about doing so, it would bring them nowhere if she did not. But it was so tempting that she kept doing so while making sentences. She made finally a suggestion to go brunching, breakfast was good. But she also added after a new round of kisses that they could not do this all day. "Don't tempt me." She gave him a longer, yet softer kiss before finally climbing off, else they would not be able to focus.
She checked her dress, her hair everything before looking up at Giovanni. She had obviously listened, "I didn't know we could brunch at your restaurant?" To be really honest, she did not mind but it might be nice to go to another one once in a while, hm, she got distracted again only by looking at him. "Let's go to something new." She had to find her phone, found it in her bedroom and went to quickly research a good company nearby and suggested to go there. She went to go get her shoes and purse and she thought about the rest of the stuff she needed and picked that up as well, considering she might crash at his place tonight. Wait, should she ask about that assumption or would it be fine?

Giovanni chuckled when Nimue told him not to tempt her. She then got of and checked her dress. In the meantime he spoke to her and she listened before she replied that she didnt know they could brunch at his restaurant.
"Oh, you are Very Important Person. You get special priviledges~" he told her lovingly. Indeed she was VIP and she had special perks with him. But ultimately they decided to try something new and he nodded in agreement. So he got up and went to tidy up himself so he could be presentable when going to a restaurant.
During that Nimue went to get her phone and looked some stuff up before giving her suggestion. Giovanni nodded, he agreed to go there. So she went to get her shoes to finish dressing up. Giovanni went ahead and helped her put on her shoes. Because he didnt mind if she was his Cinderella and he was her Prince. He smiled sweetly as he helped her and damn well insisted on it. Once that was done, he helped her up and went out with her. They locked her door and Giovanni escorted her to his car so they could drive to the place "Where was it again?" |

Well he would get used to her bringing a bigger pack as she always brought her first aid kit with her anywhere too, a smaller backpack would probably not surprise Giovanni at this point. So she simply put some clean clothes in there and was done. She would get to the little hallway of her apartment but was soon joined by him and she could only chuckle when he helped her like Prince Charming to put on her heels. "I like special privileges if that includes having you around more?" She could now kiss him easily as she had her shoes on and thus she did, on the corner of his lip, she placed her soft little kiss before making sure she had everything which included her phone and keys in the little backpack that she had, as well as in her hand. The problem of dresses and no pockets. She put up her coat and let him help her again and waited for him to be ready to and shut the door behind them and lock it before letting him guide her to the car by holding hands. Once in the car he asked again where it was and she showed him the address, on the other side of the shopping centre than where his restaurant was. It was a sort of lunch cafe, and it was open on Christmas, now they had to hope if there were still spots.
When they arrived it was much fancier than the website had shown and it wasn't that busy, either people would come only for lunch, which it was too early for, or it was quite expensive so it was for a targeted group only on Christmas. Well, they seemed to look fancy enough to be left inside, there was a table for them in the middle of the others, small and round and the waiter handed them both a menu card before moving on.

She kissed him again and he blushed. "Y- I ...Im always here if you need me" he spoke as he was a bit flustered. But soon she took her stuff and the two were ready to go. They went in the car and once they were set, Giovanni asked where it was. She then showed him the address and he nodded and stated driving. It wasnt a long ride since she lived closer to the center of Musutafu.
Once the ride was over, they arrived to the spot. Giovanni first went to find some parking space for his car. Once that was done and the car was parked the two got out. Now getting a good look at the place he could see its decent. And they were appropriately dressed for the occassion. He held her hand as he escorted her in the establishment. They found a table for them in the middle. It was small and round. They took their seat and then a waiter arrived and handed them both a menu before he moved on.
Giovanni looked then at the menu and he looked around him to 'scan' the place. This was all competition to him. He needed all of the inside scoops |

Nimue looked a little surprised but that surprised look quickly changed into a smug smile on her face considering his blush and she brushed his hair away from his forehead and kissed him again. It was much more fun, this way of teasing. When she was done with the new kiss again, she turned away and bit her lip. She said she would stop doing so else they would not get anywhere, this was ridiculous, behave. She told herself but he was so cute when he blushed and she decided to take a step back to get her coat, her bag and let the two of them leave. In the car they had this distant and they had to keep it so it would be fine. She watched him from the corner of her eye but mostly fumbled with the hem of her skirt and tried to think of things to say. No words came to mind but this silence wasn't bad. It was not something that pushed against her for saying anything. She bit her lip and thought about anything really but before she could come up with something they arrived already.
She lifted up the menu and looked at the dishes. The restaurant served typical Japanese dishes for lunch but also more western and that made the decision for her even more difficult. She looked up at Giovanni, who seemed to more focus on the area around him. "Did you already make a decision?" She looked back at the menu while he could answer her and she wasn't sure what to pick herself, "They have so much I don't know what to pick." They had small sandwiches that she could try maybe, that seemed like something she would eat too. Well that was that, she would pick those and closed the menu to only open it in seconds again, she had not decided if she wanted coffee or not.

Nimue asked Giovanni if he had made a decision. But he shook his head and sighed "No" he had no idea what to take. He hid his face behind the menu to hide his pout. Japanese dishes were not his favourite and sometimes with Nimue he forgets he's in Japan even. This menu was a reminder where he was
"What do you reccomend for a good brunch?" he asked considering this was Japan. He had no idea if there were customs and such. So then he looked around to scan more of the area to see the place more and maybe see if he can see what the other few customers are having.
Nimue said they have so much she had no idea what to choose. Hmm, maybe he should try and choose
"Umm... what about these sandwich things? Do you think thats ok?" he asked her for approval to see if he made a good choice. He just wasnt sue. So he asked "Is there like something typical people from Japan eat? I am still not familiar with all of their customs and culture details" he confessed as he lowered the menu and placed it back on the table

She leaned over her chair to look at what part of the menu Giovanni was looking before turning the page for him. Western lunches, is basically what it said in a fancier setting and she smiled at him. "I recommend this. I don't think I would be able to eat rice or ramen already at this hour." She snickered a little before kissing his cheek while moving up the menu a little and she quickly went to sit back again. She looked into her own menu, if she would order sandwiches, she could take a normal coffee with that for sure. Or maybe a double, hmm questions. She looked up again when Giovanni spoke to her and she tried to hide her smile by biting her lower lip, she nodded. But she could not help snort a little when he asked her what typical people in Japan eat. "Are you asking me because my Japanese surname or?" But she gave him a smile though, he was cute when he wanted to do good.
"I think Japanese people mostly eat rice and the like every other part of the day but we are not Japanese so it's fine right, I thought about ordering the sandwiches too, we could maybe share." Which was cute and romantic and she looked at him with a curious look on her face, she wondered if he would mind that. "I also think that Japan changed a lot in the years and with the hero system and all a lot of foreigners came, so I am not sure anymore if people believe in the traditional part." She waved to the waiter as she put her menu down and ordered the coffee and the two sandwiches with chicken and one with cream cheese. Well that was a thing, they had so many options, she would see what Giovanni would do.

He had his shy moments and this was one of them. Once he was clear to ehm... not stuff his face in the menu, he looked at what was listed. He was still red as a tomato
He asked her a question and she answered with a question of her own "B-Because y-you l-lived h-here longer th-then me" he said or rather he stuttered out. But then she gave him a more real answer, which calmed him and made him nod and smile a bit "Si, we can" he said as he was fine with it Nimue said that Japan changed a lot with the hero system so he nodded as he spoke "I guess I am still old fashioned myself" he admitted Soon the waiter came and the two made their order. Giovanni didnt take coffee but a fruity juice to go with his sandwhich. He then also told Nim that he insists on paying Because then what kind of a gentleman would he be? He has to spoil her something FIERCE |

She tried to be casual but to be honest, his blushy moments were a victory as well as a moment to feel embarrassed herself. She simply smiled though and pretend that she did not notice. Thank god for his cute blushy face though, she thought to herself as from time to time she quickly glanced at him when he was looking at the menu before he asked. She blushed a little but her smile grew only more, she really tried her very best to hide it, but Nimue was grinning as he stammered. "Cute." She mumbled under her breath as she nodded and continued to explain what she knew. She suggested to share the sandwiches so that they could take four different flavours of the small club sandwiches, she actually did not even feel that hungry and she hoped 4 wasn't too much. You never knew how big the meals were with some restaurants.
She nodded, "Hm, I still have seen you eat sushi and some spring rolls, I am satisfied." She said with a mischief smile on her face and she laughed softly, it would all be fine. So they ordered and she looked again up surprised, technically it wasn't that she had enough money but she wouldn't be able to go to all the fancy stuff here if it wasn't for Giovanni, it started to gnaw on her though, she couldn't let him pay all the time. "O-okay." Maybe next time, he already bought her this necklace that could not have been cheap, she held it between the index finger and thumb of her right hand, but she still had no gift.

The more she teased with mischeif the more he blushed. He did although managed to regain his grip and say and proclaim that he will pay. He was a gentleman and he was a man. It was his duty to pay, besides he didnt mind. He loved to spoil Nimue.
But now that they made their order, they needed to wait. But they couldnt wait in silence, they had to talk about something. But what to say? He looked at her... he needed to start something. Anything... wait... there is one idea. Valentines! But he doesnt wanna spoil his idea too early.
"Say... if I had a business trip that takes me to England in about 2 months. Would you by any change join me or would you be too busy with your nurse job?" he asked innocently
He just wanted to go there for Valentines with her. Plus he heard there was interesting stuff happening there, not that he knew of the details. But if Nimue doesnt like the idea of England, maybe he'd choose somewhere more exotic like... erm... Sweden or where ever else she wants. France is a little too cliche and obvious for a place of romance in his opinion

Hm, his blushing face was to die for. But she had no time for that and she should not think that way, so she tried to be nice and not tease too much. She wasn't sure what to say about the paying, she did not want to say no because he seemed to enjoy doing so but maybe she should ask him at another point with how it worked for him and what he thought and, maybe she should not make such a big deal out of it? At least, she did not plan to talk about it now because she did not want to ruin the mood. She was about to ask him something when he started, a business trip? She was rather surprised, in two months, it sort of made her heart flutter. The reason why it did was because she did not dare to look into the future and what it brought her but making suggestions for over two months, it made her feel thrilled and happy. Two months, she quickly counted, that was February, "It kind of depends when exactly." Would it be bad if she wanted to join, if he had a business trip would that not make him really busy and her being stuck with doing nothing? She had never been to England. "I have a few things at the start of February that take my time, the school has a festival, for-for students." She almost invited him, she should really tell him.
Okay new goal, she would tell him before the sports festival so she could invite him to come and watch, yes, that totally made sense. Unless villains would watch and see his face, recognize him as the restaurant owner and... and.. okay maybe not a good idea to invite him but well she should still tell him. Yes that was the better idea. "It does sound rather nice, I have never been to England." And she won't go to England because the nurse of course stayed in Japan, so that helped.

Nimue said that it depends when exactly. She said she has a few things at the start of februrary. A festival, something that perked his interest. "For students? I didnt know students had festivals? What do they do exactly?" he asked curiously. The only festival he knew that students partook in was the Sports Festival, but that would imply Nimue works at UA. Wait, come to think of it... what school does she work at? Giovanni believes he ever asked. Granted a festival doesnt need to be a sports festival, maybe it could be some culinary festival. But still... he figured he should ask Nimue about her school, maybe one day even drive her to work so she can arrive in style. He wonders if its a fancy school or a normal school. Ah so many questions
She said she never has been to England, he nodded "Si, I have a bit of work at Manchester. And I figured once I finish some business stuff we go and see the sights" he said, but then he decided to ask a question "Although, I just realized. I never asked you what school you teach at. You always mention the school and its students and your nurse job. But I have no idea what school is it. You know I could drive you there every once in a while. Plus I want to see if the school is worthy of you~"

Oh right, should she tell him now? During Christmas? No, during Christmas would be a horrible idea, a mood killer so to say, no she would tell him another time. She didn't exactly lie, she just didn't say what it was about or more to say; which school it was about. "Oh yes, it's a cultural festival. The school organizes things to show off their hard work during the year with their clubs and homeroom classes, it's a very interesting thing for the eh school to see. It will also prepare them to see what they are doing and inviting new students when the new school year starts, it's a really nice get-together." Because he didn't know the festivals in Japan, she lied it was only for the school and her heart sank even further the more she thought about it. She did not want to lie, she felt horrible but she promised herself she would tell him later, yes, later would be the best, first thing after she would fix him a Christmas present. She brushed her hair aside and looked to see if the waiter would come to bring her coffee, soon enough he did.
She tried to bring the conversation to something else and she was just sure it would be fine, England and she nodded, oh Manchester, obviously she had heard of the place, "I was named after some far English relative from my mother's side." She decided to say as she listened on about business, she wished she could go but that really depended on the time and such, she doubt she would make it. "Eeh worthy of me?" She hackled, surprised, ha, she always wondered if she was worthy of U.A. "It's just a small high school here in Musutafu, nothing big." Well the classes weren't that big... the school itself was quite a big deal.

He wished her well, he was disappointed he couldnt be with her to see it and that she couldnt go with him. It seems that at Valentines Day they might be separated, which was sad. Their first Valentines day and they're a world apart.
After a bit of talking about England, Giovanni asked where does Nimue work, which school? Because he never visited it. She knew his workplace, sorta. But he didnt know hers? Well first came the England talk to which he smiled when she said that she was named after a relative "Nimue is such a beautiful name~" he had to say the truth and compliment it "I hope I am not butchering the pronounciation when I say it"
And then school talk, Nimue was caught of guard when he said that he wanted to know if the school was worthy of her "Si si! You are a fine woman and nurse and I want you to work at the best of schools, because you deserve the best and not just some run down and run of the mill schools. I want to make sure you are in a good place. You know?"
Nimue said that it was a small high school in Musutafu, nothing big. Nothing special too?
"Do you like working there?" he asked curiously
