He was so nice, but she didnt want to just run back to him as if nothing happened. Trust needed to be regained,. After hearing him out and just nodding to what he said, she went to the rest of her family and gave Hideki a final greeting or goodbye "Merry Christmas" thus with Robodog she left.
With all the talk they had, she honestly forgot about the fact that he gave her a gift. She was just so focused on their conversation and getting back to the rest of her family that his gift slipped her mind. Miku just went to Haruuhi and realized she wasnt with Hana and G
"Uhm... so, where's the rest of the family? Why are you alone?" Miku asked as she wondered where Hana and G were. Also she wanted to ask the questions so Haruuhi doesnt ask Miku anything, she was also unware that G and Hana sort of filled her in on what happened. Honestly, she didnt even know what to think herself. It was just a bad situation that Miku tried to improvise for the best, but then things took a weird turn and now here she is. How did it go all wrong? |

Being able to sense Robodog coming back towards her, Haruuhi looked up from her phone whenever Miku and Gadian finally made their way towards her. She offered Miku a smile as she lowered the device, leaning over the couch to have a better vantage point of her sister and her dog.
"Mom and Dad sounded like they needed a moment of alone time so I just came to sit down. Things are pretty intense for Christmas this year hunh?"
She asked, sitting back normally as Miku came around. She set her phone down on the table then moved over to give her sister some space on the sofa. She didn't want to bring up what just happened with that boy at the entrance, knowing it was most likely a touchy subject. Instead she brought her hand up to the back of her head as she though that maybe telling something about herself might ease the pressure off of Miku a bit.
"Hey, remember a while back how I said I met someone who claimed to be my mom? Well turns out it's true and... well it's no wonder I've been a magnet for trouble."
She admitted, chuckling softly as she lifted her legs up onto the couch and drawing them into herself. She had learned quite a bit from the outings she had with her mother, everything from who her father really was, to what she did, to what clan she belonged too. She wasn't about to outright spell it all out right now considering what she had just learned about Miku but... she hoped that maybe... just maybe it might make her feel better about everything.
"Turns out my parents were both from opposing Yakuza clans, and mom put me in an orphanage to protect me from that. It's kind of weird to think of what things might have been like for me if I'd never gone to U.A and met you, ya know? I learned all of this intense stuff about where I'm from and what could have been if things were different... it really just makes me more grateful that I met you, and that you asked me to be your sister."
She smiled brightly. If Miku had sat down next to her, she would lean her head against her sisters shoulder, t hen slink her arms around her and hug her tightly.

Hana understood that it was a scary situation, especially after everything. She sighed and spoke the truth. Hana was an angel, she always knew how to make sense of chaos. She can put everything in its place.
After which he asked Hana, what brings them in the kitchen. He noticed she looked up, ah she was cheking a dish. After that she walked over to him and brushed her hair and made a beautiful smle. She soon slid a small box that she had in her pocket. Afer which she took a few steps back. G curiously took the box and opened it.
After which he was speechless. He was visibly speechless and doesnt know what to say and Hana could see it. All kinds of emotions were flowing through him. Good and bad. Mostly good ones as thats why he immediatelly hugged her
"I... wow.... huh... Hana..." he could not form a sentence, not yet at least. He needed to unscramble his mind. But after he finally made some sense, he just kissed her and hugged her
"Oh baby. I love you so much. I promise this will be our lil secret" he said and then kissed her once more. He really wish he could continue, but alas Haruu couldnt be left alone.
Hana made a good point. They needed to go to the girls and open the presents
"Oh right! You got it!" G said and let Hana go. Although he still held her hand. Fingers intertwined and all that

He seemed to be speechless, which quickly changed into him holding on to her and kissing her and speaking and kissing again, which made her giggle a little and she held on to him. She snuggled in his arms and nodded. Before he let her go. She would suggest to go back and make sure the girls could unpack their gift, one of the pile that they had, the others would be after dinner. She let him guide her back to the living room and smiled at Haruuhi and Miku. "Now that we are all together, I thought we could maybe already pick one present before dinner." She said with a smile and went to sit on the chair as to not break up the kids. Shame Kai was asleep but he would get his presents after dinner for sure.
"You can pick just one, so get up and find the one you want." She snickered, she had no intention to get one herself, though technically her rule did not cut herself out, G technically had one but she looked at him shortly to see his reaction still. She bit her lip and tried to focus her attention on the Christmas tree and everything. This year would be better, and the presents in her opinion were a lot better than last year. A bracelet for Miku, that could be opened and seeds could be added. Some new tools for Haruuhi that she thought she bought right after she thought she heard Haruuhi about it and well much more that she had picked up the girls wanting before.

Miku sighed, "Its like a family tradition it seems. That christmasses are to be intense. Maybe next year we should try and get one without any boyfriends. Just us, the family" she commented as the christmas was too intense for Miku's liking. They all just needed to chill
Haruuhi thus changed the subject and started a new one, asking if Miku remembered when she said she met someone claiming to be her mom "Yeah, I remember? What about it" Miku asked
Haruuhi answered it turns out to be true and so no wonder she was a 'magnet for trouble'. Miku was curious
"What do you mean?" she asked Haruuhi
So Haruuhi answered how it turns out that her parents were from opposing Yakuza clans and how her mom put her in an orphanage to protect her. But the ending was really sweet, how... well... her words were too sweet to describe them. And Miku finally had a big and genuine smile on her face when Haruuhi leaned her head on Miku's shoulder. The two then hugged it out
"I cant believe it. Its no wonder we are the way we are. I-" Miku was interrupted by the sound of her parents. G and Hana came back from their alone time. Hana said that now that they're all together that they can all open at least one gift of their choosing. Not wanting to say it infront of G and Hana. Miku just said "I'll tell you when we get a moment like that, ok? Lets get a gift now" she suggested to Haruu |

When Miku hugged her, Haruuhi hugged her back just as tightly, glad to see that her story was received better than she had anticipated. She really was glad to be a part of this family, and it was all thanks to Miku. She really wanted to make sure her sister knew that. Though before the two could continue talking, G and Hana walked into the room. Haruuhi immediately closed her mouth, letting it curve up into a smile as she then straightened up on the sofa.
"Yeah of course~ Noooooow. Which one which oooooone."
Haruuhi hummed as she sprang to her feet and made her way over to the christmas tree. She reached in to grab a bunch of presents, then started handing them out to everyone as their names appeared on them. This way, they could all open a present together.
The present she had gotten for Miku was a do it yourself indoor flower garden with an adorable ceramic pot in the shape of a basket of puppies. Inside there would be dirt and little baggies with various flower seeds she had been able to get her hands on. For G, she had gotten him the newest Finest Fantasy game that had come out, and for Hana she had gotten a heard shaped necklace. Within the heart were 3 golden arches, and each arch had the name of one kid. One for Miku, one for Kai, and one for her.
Meanwhile, the gift Haruuhi opened was the one from Hana. She smiled brightly as she unraveled the new toolkit and grinned from one ear to the next.
"Awesome! I was just going to need these! My tools are really falling apart hard. Thank you"
She said happily as she put the gift at her feet so that she could watch the others open their gifts, and snap pictures of them from her phone when she could.

G watched the kids open their present. He smiled as he watched them. Even the smallest crack of a smile was enough for him to have tears of joy. This is what he lived for. A happy family. What he yearned for.
As the patriarch he decided to be the last one to open any gifts. He was the adult. The santa. The dad. He was the gift giver, well thats how he saw himself. And so thats why he prefered everyone but him opened the gifts. He wanted to be the last one to do it. Hell he even wishes Haruu and Miku didnt use their money for gifts. They didnt need to buy anything. It was the parents duty for gift giving and theirs for receiving. Thats how G was taught. And he imparted that knowledge on Miku. So he was certain she only did it so she wouldnt be the only one to not buy gifts. Hmm, he should tell Haruuhi later that she doesnt need to buy gifts. She should save that money for herself.
But all in all, G was glad. Christmas was relatively wholesome and peaceful and he could only hope the next one is more serene as well. He had Hana and the children and he was a happy happy man

Hanako did not notice that G wanted to be the last one to open the present that Haruuhi had distributed between them, she just wanted to see the reaction of the girls as they opened their presents and while she got a glimpse of their reaction she would finally start to peel on the tape and open her own. She took a deep breath and wondered what she should say about it when she stared at the necklace, it was so beautiful and she had this soft look in her eyes, a soft smile on her face and she brushed her hair aside to immediately put the necklace around, "I wonder," she mused out loud, "How Santa knew that I already have everything with my three beautiful kids." She said with a smile and she managed to do it on her own and touched the arches with her left hand and smiled at the two girls on the couch, hoping that they would be happy too about their stuff. She did not notice Haruuhi had taken pictures and she looked up at G, to beam brightly at him too. "Now let's go for dinner."
The table was already made, she would get Kai and make sure that everything was rightly installed on the dinner table, they would use the big one for today and she would make sure that Kai was at the head of the table, that she sat opposite G and had one of the girls on her left side and she was happy. Surely there had been a little hiccup with Hideki (albeit unknown name) showing up and the conversation but everything was fine and for the many time she touched her necklace, it was beautiful.
Dinner took quite some time and it was nice and calming, funny and she was happy and she would want to enjoy this moment for forever. After dinner was done, she ushered the girls to take Kai and find a new present they want to unwrap, she took the dishes to the kitchen, kissed G before making her way to the living room to see how the rest would go and take her little one if G wasn't quicker to give the girls the space to unpack the rest of their presents. Hanako had found a dress she liked for Haruuhi and begged her to be honest if she liked it or not, and many such things.

So... that posting order was wild.  Three players involved, despite there being 5 characters, means +15 group bonus atop everything else. Hanako Hajimari started w/ 322 and earned 30 (+15 = 45). G Hajimari started w/ 430 and earned 18 (+15 = 33). Haruuhi Hajimari started w/ 398 and earned 17 (+15 = 32). Miku Hajimari started w/ 451 and earned 16 (+15 = 31).
