Haruuhi would look between Hideki and G, raising an eyebrow as her father seemed suddenly quite hostile. The boy though, Hideki, seemed to take it like a champ however. She chuckled, bringing her hands up in a show of surrender before stepping away from G.
"Okay Okay I get it. Miku's new boyfriend right? Nice to meet you~ Good luck~"
She teased Hideki, having no idea in regards to the extent of things that had happened. She glanced back towards Hanako as her mother shot her a look too and immediately got the hint. She turned on her heels and instead walked out of the room towards the Christmas Tree. Surely everyone else would be along shortly. She wished she could be a fly on the wall of that room, so so curious as to what was going on... but maybe this was something she shouldn't get involved in? She didn't want anyone in her family to get involved with James just yet, so maybe this was the same... and maybe this was why Miku was so down? Maybe she thought he wouldn't come? Who knew?
Meanwhile, Robodog lifted his head off of Miku to let her move in to hug Hanako. He just watched the two silently, ear twitching as the beast remained silent. It wasn't until everyone got up to go that Robodog would get up once more. He would stay by Miku the entire time, nudging her hand at every opportunity just to remind her that he was there.

The red head was nice, not formal as he’d expect of someone living in a home such as this, but definitely what he’d expect of a commoner. One he could tolerate anyways. He offered her a smile which remained forced on his face as G arrived on scene only moments later. He looked none too pleased that Hideki was there, and honestly what had he expected, showing up unannounced like this? He could only do his best from here on out, and remember his proper upbringing. He offered G a polite bow (master of the house and all) before he would finally speak up after how rudely G had addressed him.
“I understand, I don’t mean to intrude on your festivities, nor would I want to disturb Miku if she truly did not want to see me. I simply brought her a gift and wanted to be sure she would receive it on Christmas. “
He explained to G, though paused whenever a woman came walking down the stairs. The way she addressed G indicated that this was his wife, Miku’s mother. He offered her a polite bow as well, free hand moving up to his chest as he did so.
“Forgive my intrusion, thank you. If she would see me, then 5 minutes will have to be enough. If she doesn’t, then I will leave immediately.”
He assured her politely. While he tried not to show it, the look in his eyes portrayed the sadness that he felt, the regret that he had caused this wonderful woman so much pain...

"I know, but still it sucks being grounded." Miku said. After a bit of talking between mother and daughter, Hana said that they should go downstairs. Miku smiled a bit and decided to go with Hana, holding her hand. They went down the hallway, Hana grabbed the baby monitor. When they heard G talk, Hana took a deep breath. Miku followed Hana's example and did the same.
"Honey" Hana had a stern look on her face and pushed him away from the door "Wha?" G asked confused. Hana then turned to Hideki asking him if 5 minutes are enough "Wha!?" that made Miku chuckle a bit. Miku watched as Hana pushed G towards the door and called Haruuhi to come over as well. To be honest, this was not what she wanted. She didnt wanna be with Hideki, she wanted to go with the rest of the family. "I should go too." she said as she started to back away. G did say that Hideki snitched on her. If he didnt find G she wouldnt be in thsi godforsaken mess. Its been months dammit!!! And he's still grounding her!! She cant take it!! She doesnt want this caged life anymore

"Honey" Hana had a stern look on her face and pushed him away from the door "Wha?" G asked confused. Hana then turned to Hideki asking him if 5 minutes are enough "Wha!?" that made Miku chuckle a bit. Haruuhi had to come as well. Once they were away, G wanted to ask whats the big idea. But instead he decided to bite his tongue. Almost literally as he greet his teeth and followed Hana. His hands were fucking twitching as he wanted to do was strangle that guy. He also felt mad at Haruuhi for being an IDIOT AND OPENING THE GOD DAMN DOOR!!!! GOD HE WANTED TO PUNCH SOMETHING!!!! But no. He needed to restrain his maelstorm of anger and rage. Could he even hear them? He wanted to. But no, he followed Hana, that way she can monitor him and keep him sane. He just bit his lip to stay calm. Think of peaceful sea and beach. Not a maelstorm of hate and malice. He has to be better, he promsed he would. B-Besides its just 5 minutes. W-what can possibly go wrong? He bit his lip as he imagined the scenarios. What if they're making out and smooching? What if they're arguing. What could they possibly be doing? That... that was a scary thought. Why does this have to happen on christmas? Couldnt they just have a nice family christmas without them getting some unwanted fuckboy ruining their time? Why wasnt he with his family?

Maybe she was slightly stressed, maybe she was not stressed at all. What would he think? What would he even say about it and what would the girls think of the presents that the two of them arranged. She bent in front of the oven to see if everything in there was going to golden brown and not pitch black. But it seemed to be fine and she leaned with her elbows on the kitchen island as she came back up. God, what would she do about this all. Maybe Miku had not wanted to talk to the boy but sometimes she needed to take the lead and tell the people themselves, they were not always going to be there to... sort of pick up the pieces? To protect her and be there for her, but on the other hand sometimes she did not want to be protected or did not even dare to talk, hence why she was grounded. She decided to get the other things ready, the plates on the kitchen table, ehm were they going to use the cozy one here or the one in the dining room? Probably the dining room, that had more space and she put everything ready on the kitchen island before looking at G? Was he wondering what was happening?
"I think we should stop her punishment after Christmas. The message has been clear and we need to start trusting her again and she needs to know it." She did not look at him, she was sure that Gil at this point wanted to keep her on a leash for forever but it would be the most important part to realize now that they shouldn't push too far. She looked up to make sure they were alone, "I have a gift for you, one I want only you to see."

Miku immediately turned her back on him and he felt his heart actually drop… he brought his hand up to his chest, so unfamiliar with this feeling that for a moment he didn’t quite know what to do. Though as she took a step away from him he hurried up to her side and very gently grabbed her arm. He didn’t force her to stop, more so just implied with the pressure of his hand that it is what he wanted her to do.
“Miku wait, please, just five minutes…”
He pleaded with her, his eyes staying fully focused on her now, ignoring the others that left the room to leave the two alone. If Miku stopped to hear him out he would take a step back to give her some space, then extend the gift towards her.
“You weren’t returning my messages so I didn’t have a choice but to come see you, and I figured today was as good a time as any… I wanted to apologize for everything I have put you through… I set out looking for help to get you out from under Thundershock’s thumb because… because I know what it’s like and how hard it is to escape. I didn’t want you to get hurt so I went looking for help. I didn’t realize the help I had found was your father… and in the end I still caused you pain, even though I was trying to prevent it.”
If Miku didn’t take the gift, he would place it down on a nearby bannister before he would lower himself to his knees in front of her. He lowered his head down in front of him, placing his forehead down against the floor.
“What I did to hurt you was awful, and I can’t apologize enough for it… I don’t expect you to forgive me, but I’m begging you to give me the chance to earn your trust again. You mean more to me than even I understand, and I can’t bear the thought of losing you. Please Miku, I’m begging you to give me another chance.”
He would finish saying from his spot on the floor, unmoving to really show Miku how much he meant every word. It was difficult for any man to bend the knee to anyone, let alone prostrate themselves as much as this. If only she knew how much more it even meant for someone of his social standing as well…

Miku wanted to leave right away, she didnt wanna talk to Hideki, but he pleaded for her to stop. Just 5 minutes he says. She stopped and looked at him "3 minutes" she said
He then gave her space. Properly so and then spoke to her and he apologized for his action. He meant well and she understood it. She then watched him place the gift down since she didnt go and take it. She just looked at him as he continued saying that what he did was awful and he apologizes and more forgiveness talk. But then there was that one word. Trust. He wants to earn it back. And he was begging her.
No one ever begged her before and she wasnt sure how to feel
"Trust...." she spoke. God... it was that word that haunted her and that she hated "Trust and I.. We are on shaky terms. I was always weary of other people, because certain individuals who were near and near to my heart betrayed me and my trust. The people I trusted the most ended up hurting me the most. And your mistake opened some old wounds for me." she looked at him "You say that you want to earn back my trust. But that will be hard since you had little trust in me......Im not gonna give you a chance willy nilly just like that. You're gonna work for it. Just like how he'll work for it as well" she said motioning her head towards where the others went. It was obvious that the other He was G.
"They say time heals wounds. We'll see if thats true" Miku said and turned to leave

Haruuhi glanced towards Hideki and miku curiously, wondering why the air had suddenly gotten so tense. She tried not to frown though as she walked out with hanako and G. Something was going on and she didn’t know about it… She was really starting to hate all these damned secrets! Hell even she was keeping her own, and maybe it was time all of them had a bit of family time to come clean about everything! How was she expected to be a good sister to Miku if she didn’t know when to help her…
As she entered the living room and sat down on the sofa she finally let out a sigh.
“Someone please tell me what’s going on. This is why secrets in this house are bad.”
She grumbled as she crossed her arms. Meanwhile, Robodog had left the room as well, but had sat down by the entryway so that he was still close to Miku should something happen. The robotic dogs eyes had turned red, meaning he had been placed into attack mode, and was just waiting for an order to put an end to any threat that may appear to their family… Miku had already been feeling down, he wasn’t going to let any more harm come to her.

He had so much to do. Now Hana wanted to talk to him and Haruu wanted. And he was pretty sure they wanted him for seperate reasons. He looked at Hana and Haruu and then he decided who to pick first. He walked over to Haruu and told her "Its a looong story. So I will just give you the tldr version for now. Miku dated that boy. That boy ratted on Miku and told me she was kind of involved with Thunder but not really. Hana and I got mad just because Miku even dared to see Thunder and we grounded her. And now that boy wants to attempt to apologize to her on christmas. Hana and I will go into more detail and answer any question you might have. But for now can you give us a moment. Hana needs me for something. So we'll be right back. Ok?" he tells her. Gives her a pat on the head and then goes to Hana in the kitchen area
He first let Hana talk, because ladies first. And she said she thinks they should end her punishment. She didnt look at him. He sighed and kept a cool head. "Ok. Ok. We can do that. But only on the condition that we control her love life. Im just worried in what kind of bad circles and peoples she might get involved in. Men are cruel. I want to keep her safe at least from that" G said as he agreed to end her punishment but stil he wanted Miku to remain innocent and not get involved with a boy. Hana then said she has a gift for him. One only for his eyes.
"Oh.. um... right" he blushed a bit. But before that gift could be shown he asked "C-Can I ask you something though? Wh-why did you let that boy talk to Miku?" he asked basfully since he guessed Hana's gift, but also curiously as he wanted to know her reasoning

Hanako had missed Haruuhi's question as she made her way back to the kitchen by going through the dining room. She would have to talk to G about this punishment and she wasn't sure how much Miku had said to Haruu and while the woman thought about bringing it up later, she missed that G was now quickly filling in Haruuhi. But that was okay, when she noticed she was alone, she first went to check the food and prepare everything for the dinner table, they could do that soon, or maybe first presents. Bleh, they could have a vote about that. How much she wanted everything to be perfect compared to the disaster of last year. Hm, last year, so much has already changed. Hm, many things for the better, many things also became much much scarier and she thought about her present.
Hanako looked up at G once she said her statement with the biggest utmost unbelieve written on her face. "No." She simply said and turned her heel. "I thought you learned about it, and this guy at least means the best for her, why do you think I let him talk to her. He cares about her and he wants her to be in good hands, even though he did not know you were her father, he wanted your help. Don't betray their trust. Be that person they can trust and be that person that they come running to for advice no matter what situation." She stated boldly, and maybe slightly agitated. So she took a deep breath, "If we forbid things like that you can assume she go running to worst boys than Akio or what this boy's name is I don't know. She could come home with Thunder's thousands sons for all that mattered." She said with a huf before she tried to calm down. She crossed her arms and took the present from her pocket and slid the box over the kitchen island to him.

He looked up from his bowing position when Miku stated that he would have to earn her trust back, just like what he stated he would do. He wanted to offer her a smile as a wave of relief washed over him… She wasn’t shutting him out, she wasn’t pushing him away. She was going to give him a chance to earn it… but just how did someone earn trust back? Sure he could suck up to her like crazy, but wouldn’t that just seem superficial? He had a lot more thinking to do about this… and hopefully during that time he wouldn’t come across Thunder. Thankfully, the man had been rather silent as of late.
Miku would then motion towards her parents in the kitched and speak more about how time healed wounds before turning to leave… Hideki however hurried to his feet, reaching forward and taking Miku’s hand gently in his. At first he didn’t say anything, the desperation in his eyes speaking volumes on his behalf. He just held her hand, stopping her from continuing to the kitchen before taking a step forward and wrapping his arms around her gently, hugging her from behind.
“I’m going to make mistakes… probably a lot of them, and I’m not used to that… I’ve never felt this way about anyone before… the way I feel about you it’s… confusing. I was raised to care about no one but myself and my family. I was raised to think that I was better than everyone and to look down on anyone considered below me. So this, you… it’s a whole new world for me, one I didn’t know existed until I met you. Don’t ask me why I feel this way about you, I don’t know… It’s really hard to explain but when I met you, it’s like there was suddenly light in my world, and I didn’t really know it was dark. I’ll make it up to you, I promise you that. Go out with me again, we’ll… go to a movie, or something? I want to keep learning about you, and about the world you’ve opened my eyes too.”
He asked of her while still holding onto her. If she struggled to get out of his grip he would let her go and still give his speech, but if she didn’t struggled and stayed put he would lean his head against the side of her own until he was done. Then, he’d finally release her to get back to her family...

As she was leaing, Hideki hurried quickly over to her and stopped her. He gently took his hand in his. He didnt say anything why. Thats when she looked at him and saw that desperation in his eyes. Then he just hugged her. Miku didnt know should she do that as well. She wants to hug him so badly, but at the same time she doesnt wanna relent and be considered 'easy'. Not hugging Hideki back was probably one of the hardest things today. The fight to resist the urge to hug him.
"No I wont be pathetic and needy" she thought to herself as she had that mental conflicts
Then he finally spoke. And all she could do was listen him. She promised his 3 minutes after all. The words he used were touching, but she really didnt know what to say. She noticed then he leaned his head against the side of her own until he was done. That made her shudder a bit for some reason. So when he let her go she was glad.
"Go out with you... I'll think about it. Maybe one day" Miku said, she wasnt sure what to say, she was still grounded for all she knew. "We'll see. Maybe one day I'll get phone priviledges back. Until then I cant say anything" she said and waved lazily bye to him as she went to the rest of her family.

He sighed "You make a very good point. I guess I get a bit too scared and agitated." he crossed his arms as he reflected on what to do. It was a reflex, and he had to try and supress it. Try being the key word. Hana was there to quell him, but he needed a permanent solution. He needed to be convinced that this was the right guy for Miku.
G nodded to himself as he thought about that, but now he opened his eyes and looked at Hana "Yeah... Im sorry about that." he apologized for his attitude, but he was a bit miffed that someone had to ruin their family christmas. Meh and bleh, it was best not to think about it. He needed to think holiday cheer
"So erm Hana... what brings us here?" G asked as he did remember Hana wanted him alone. She said she wanted to give him his gift or something. He was curious what it could be. G wasnt sure even what it could be. Something small and why was it supposed to be secret from Haruuhi? Was it smoochy time. Ohoho, that would be so naughty and he wasnt sure should he go for it or be responcible and refuse it. Granted he was working on assumptions. There was no telling what was gonna happen
But once Hana did that and slid it across the kitchen table, he took it and looked at it and he realized what it meant. He approached Hana and gently hugged her giving her a kiss. He was visibly speechless and doesnt know what to say and Hana could see it. All kinds of emotions were flowing through him. Good and bad.
"I... wow.... huh... Hana..." he could not form a sentence, not yet at least. He needed to unscramble his mind

"I understand that it's a scary situation. Especially after what happened." But she sighed, "But this isn't helping. Get the Christmas spirit and start to trust them. I rather have someone that calls us because they are in trouble, than one that tries to hide our girls from us." She wasn't sure if Haruuhi was dating, but she hoped it was the guy that had called them when she was drunk or at least someone like that. Like this guy, it was a better prospect than someone taking them away from them, harming them with bad thoughts or even worse. No, they were hers now and she would do everything to make their lives great and good. She did not want to fight G again about something like a boyfriend, talk about how bad boys were and point out that he would be a bad boy if her parents were alive. Or if her uncle would not trust her, but he did and he wanted her happy and she convinced him that G made her happy. She had much more to say but now G stayed quiet, she decided not to bring any more harm to this potential conversation and she would just leave it be.
She looked up from checking the dish for a thousand times, as she was fiddling with her own nerves and waiting for everything to be brought back in the right thing. She looked up at G and cooled off quite well when he apologized. She walked to him and brushed his hair away from his face and a small smile appeared on her face. She did no longer need to huff and puff about it. So she would not bring it up again and now that it was the question of what they were doing here, she slit him the little box that she had in her pocket. She took a few steps back, should she check the oven again? That was the point that G came over and hugged her and he kissed her. She smiled a little shy and didn't know what to say at this moment because his eyes spoke so many words and yet none at all. "It's okay." She whispered against his lips, "It will be okay, just let's keep it between us for now." She smiled though, which she hoped would give him the answer of how she felt, it wasn't a shy smile now, it was a happy one as she thought about it and kissed him again. "Let's go and get the girls to open a present."

"Phone priviledges hunh... I wish he`d have texted me back and just explained that was the case instead of working me up like you had suddenly vanished... As long as you`re okay, it makes this whole trip worth it. Thanks... for hearing me out. I`ll let you get back to your Family Christmas... Take care Miku, and if you need someone to talk to, I`m always there for you, I promise I wont go running around behind your back anymore... your business if yours."
Hideki stated calmly, smiling brightly as he already felt a million times better. He`d gotten a maybe out of her, which meant she didn`t hate him. That was an excellent start... hell, he`d be happy to just spend time with her again... especially once the ties between his family and Thundershock were cut. It might be a long road to get there, but he supposed he had been trying to rush it a little too much.
Hideki glanced over to the metallic dog that had now gotten up to place himself between Hideki and Miku. The boy jsut raised his hands now to show the dog he wasn`t up to anything, before backing up towards the door.
"Alright alright, i`m out. Merry Christmas Miku, I hope you have a good time with your family."
He knew that probably wouldn`t be the case, but the last thing he wanted to do was to chase her away from them. He then just eyed the gift he left behind one more time before turning his back on them and heading back out the front door without another word. She hadn`t tossed it back at him, so hopefully she would eventually open it. Inside, along with the flashier gift, she would find a single, unmarked seed. When she would try to grow it, it would turn into what was called a "bleeding heart"".
