Another storm [G]

Whenever it came to grabbing parts for a machine, there's three ways he often gets it. Usually he himself goes searching in the usual dump or abandoned areas, searching through the garbage for lost parts. He often sends out Brandon to grab whatever he deems is necessary for the project; this usually ends with Brandon bringing along food for him to eat, due to the fact that he hasn't eaten in 2 days and it's starting show on his face. The final method is people donating it to him. He has no idea on how that uusally occurs, but he likes ot make his guesses.

When G walked in with the item, its evident in the manner at which he obtained it. Leave it to the pluckiness of youth to grab something out of a shitstorm. "Yo to you as well!" He looks at the dyed blue hair ruffian, clearly modeling himself after G's aesthetic. He's a bit amused at his simple mindedness; reminds him of Brandon. "Hey. Hmm...might have seen you at the inn." He notes as he steps away from the desk to see what they brought along. "You got this from the terminal, right? You were really lucky, Reaper. Last I heard, some of the loading docks had quite a few...explosions. Survalience was a bit...glitchy once the showing began." He said, in a more serious tone.

He adjusts the goggles on his neck. "Interesting...amazing really...modified engine...a lot of power can be obtained from this...I can dissemble it, right?" He starts taking it apart and slowly anaylzing each part. At the end of this, it's gonna be destroyed, so he's gonna need some time to fully understand it and the materials it is composed of. But there was something else in the air. "...Is that all? Or is there something else you wanna talk about?" He upfront asks G, his almost closed eyes barely showing his crimson colored pupils.

Getting the marine vials would have been...interesting. They saw what happened. Alt and others reported back on what the effects were. Blurry footage showed the colorful mess that was the poor victim. But to have in their hands...well he's not a chemist so he wouldn't be much of a h-Is he? Is he not a chemist? Hmm...le-let's not think too hard about that. If they had the vial, then to be able to analyze it would be...well it would make a lot of organizations both related to the law and the criminal underbelly of the world pin after them. Best way would be to do it once, keep the notes safeguarded, like really safe guarded, or make someone memorize the composure of the chemical and then burn the notes down. Kinda like what he's doing with this engine.

"...Hmm." Almost killing, huh. He slightly frowns a bit, but bounces back to his neutral face. Caused by self defense at best, or full on blind rage induced by ego or something else. Can't really determine whether to judge him or not. He can't, not really, end of the day. The man who brought him to this store in the first place has had a bloody past so the best he can do is be aware of why one would try to kill. Besides...'Almost' kill. "The fact you're aware of it means you're not unstable." He comments. "But a break would be nice to rest one's mind and body." He separates the shell of the engine, ready to crack at it. "...The fact that you're picking me though is kinda weird. Do you...not trust some people in the group?" he asks, a bit curious on what made G pick a mechanic and obsessed engineer as a leader of a group involved with fighting villains unlicensed.

He tilts his head trying to remove a small wire from the chassis of the machine as G went on his reasoning. A lot of people in the storm knights...really don't meld together. It makes sense: other than the general idea that they stand under, they know nothing about each other and their ideals will clash once, twice, or several times. He and Brandon argue a bit, but from that meeting alone, what he heard from Brandon is that there have been some weird tension between certain members. "Hmm...Suppose so. End of the day, the only person you really trust is a guy who can't remember what he did 5 years ago, compared to the guy who knows what they did yesterday. If they know what they did yesterday, they're bound to repeat it forever." He says half jokingly.

He places the wires down. "Yeah I hanged out with Bliltz and Alt. The only two other than you and my dumbass I know for sure in this group. They...yeah, I'll keep an eye out. As for the others, you got anyone to be worried about? Someone to look out?" He notes, more seriously than the other comments. "Someone who might be...you know? Trouble?"

Kent looks at G, who either had the best idea ever or is starting to show a fort of similar degree of thinking like Brandon. He picked up on the fact that he has amnesia past a certain point and yet he’s still going to ask him about himself. He does know that, right? Or did he forget a couple of seconds after? Does he trust him that much? Not sure if he should feel flattered. Kent stares at the part he just pulled out of the small cooler unit. “I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for those two. As for me...hmm…” he tilts his head as he commits to memory how this was made. “Well…”

“Like you said, amnesia, so not much. I run a store and get help from Brandon. I like to build and fix things and I like helping people. Simple as that.” A shop barely used before he came here. A shop probably used by a criminal as a quick get away. But that’s speculation. “If you ask me what I want most of all...well it’s pretty childish so I don’t say it outloud. Hmmm…” he ponders for a second. “End of the day, I wanna see “love and peace” be victorious...even if that road to it isn’t as clean as that. It’s...gonna take a while. A long while. Probably after we’re dead, long while.” He moves a piece around and places it on the pile. “Anything else?”

"Ah right. Yeah that makes sense." G probably expected a bigger reaction from him. Kent is used to this song and dance before. Guy who basically adopted him was a former villain, (or, well, kinda still was at the point of finding), he had himself a couple of minutes to think about it, think about life struggles, reformed, and told him about it. It's not something he would be taken back by. He just nods and continue dissembling the machine, nearly done as well. As for memorizing the parts....that's also nearly done as well. A lot of good info came from this small machine. He can see why it was being sold at the auction.

He went on without replying to G for a while, finishing up the engine job. He spoke up finally when he got poked "'....Hmm? Oh, right. I'll make sure not to call you that." He says, Diet Brandon is something that shouldn't be given to anyone. Like...do you want to be the diet version of a dumbass? Weird. "Hey can you pass me that tool there, reaper?" he asks him, and once he gets it, he thanks him. "Anyway...I'll try to keep it afloat for a while. If anything major comes up that needs your input on it, let me know." Otherwise...I'll make sure Aiden doesn't do anything weird".
