Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here It was Saturday just before noon. Aeris had managed to rent out an unused Classroom at Tokyo University It was a small class room by their standards. She did not have the normal lecture size for most of the auditoriums. But she made sure every seat was going to have a butt in it. There were four rows of four. Two students at each desk. At the front of the classroom was a podium with laptop and digital connections for projection, as well as controls for the screen. Behind the screen was a good old fashion chalk board. Off to the right of the front was a large desk which Aeris had planted herself behind. She had a laptop open on the desk with a word pad program and a sound mixer.
This was going to be Yumi Tasukai’s first real experience dealing with a classroom. Rather than what she does to instruct, Aeris was going to be watching how she dealt with the little bits of disruption she had planted in the room. She was not there to guide or instruct the Teacherling. Mostly she was there to help temper the iron will a Teacher needed. Help settle her down, fire her up. Basically, she was Yumi’s cheerleader today to make sure she can get through a complete class.
In the front row of the class, right by the door, was what should be a familiar face for Yumi. Yakubu Mari. The classical Japanese beauty had to drop out of the course during their first year, but she had stayed close and opened her own fashion line. Aeris talked her into assisting in the class but did not expect her to show up in a school uniform. In the middle row sitting at the right desk two guys with similar spikey hairstyles seemed to be fussing around like normal students did. The taller one was trying to peek at the shorter one’s notes.
“Hey Veggie. Let me see your notes like the old days. I want to see if I did mine right.”
“No chance Gou. You aren’t checking them you just want to copy them.” The shorter one adjusted his glasses. They showed up in suits that were very close to school uniforms.
In the second to last row was a man shorter spikey hair and a scar under his left eye. He had already kicked back and fallen asleep while waiting. He had a straw hat with red band around it covering his face. Of all the people to wear anything close to a school uniform, he was the least likely to do so in her eyes.
Aeris will sound a class bell to signal Yumi stepping in for class to officially begin. Yumi and Aeris will control 4 of the students. Freya and Juri will have three others, All are adults and background fodder to make it feel like a full class. Keep theire reactions simple and they are moderately well behaved.

The idea of showing up to a lecture is...well it doens't make sense. Seriously, think about it. You're barely passing along the average, the professor is going on and on about stuff that...that doesn't really apply to you, and nor does it really matter in the end. Why are you here anyway? It doesn't even make sense? Perhaps they want to make this new teacher suffer for a little bit. Maybe make the new fresh meat rethink their position in life. It's highly possible some desks might break. it's really possible.
Joking! Joking...Alright maybe the desks wont break toooo much, but it's all part of the persona. It really depends if we're allowed t- oh, we're not allowed to? Al-alright, I wont break the-oh...Oh....Oh! Really, they're renting out at that place? Worked there for a small internship, that's nice. Hopefully it's a nice room.
A lot of people are there. It's a nice gesture: a student has the bright idea to involve themselves in the world of teaching, and what better way than to surround themselves with people older than her, removing the 'threat' of any troublemaker back at her school to interrupt. It's a genius plan, a wonderful plan. A boring plan. A stupid ass plan.Which is where she comes in.
Aeris invited a lot of people. Some are her fellow coworkers. Others are people that she asked near the place that like this general topic. Others might just random pedestrians passing by, who knows. And then there's...well. Honestly, how the hell did she get here? She doesn't like this place. Maybe she was near the a person actually invited to this class. Why would she be willingly here? A roughly dressed woman, who appears to be homeless at first glance. She's not wearing rags per say but she has clearly given up on giving a first impression. And why would she? Fuck this place. She appears to have bags under her eyes, and barely put any effort into her face or hair. Her black hair looks really messy, and the moment she entered the place and sat down, it was pretty evident that among the people near her, she did not belong. A woman wearing a nice white dress and black coat appears mildy set back, and tries her best to ignore it. Some actual college student wearing a earring on his left ear side glances at her, as if he's debating whether or not to ask her if she's in the right place. And a well-groomed man in a business suit, with a somewhat angry expression on his face that's pretty evident. She sat behind the front row, still plainly visible as she's right in front of where the assumed teacher would speak. She carefully messes around with a strand of her hair, her darken tired eyes filled with annoyance and boredom. She loudly coughs, annoying the businessman even further.
...and also very carefully concealed glee because lets be honest, this is hilarious. To be willingly playing the role of the delinquent, for a special request for Aeris? Hilarious! Wonder if she asked anyone else to do it? Maybe? Let's see. Her disguise is gathering the right responses: utter confusion and anger. Hopefully Yumi does alright.

The offer was mighty weird for an assignment. Show up as a delinquent student for a lecture to help out a kid who is aspiring to be a teacher. Which is good since its rare for some who want to get into teaching in this day and age. With some kids getting some new powers and able to use it at will, education is rather dangerous to say the least. Freya didn't even give it a second thought as she agreed to be a hell raiser of a student to the purpose of teaching the newbie the current era of students.
So in her best course of action, she will be reliving her highschool days in her normal candor in efforts to cause trouble and show how chaotic some can get.
In addition, Aeris invited many of her co workers as well. From many departments they hail from and all served a role in helping the young new teacher gets first hand experience. There were many faces she recognized but she couldn't say hi to all of them and many of them played small roles compared to hers.
Though it did feel a bit weird showing up for a lecture at her age. It's been how many years and yet everything is still the same on how its done. She wore her black sweater and jeans that were complete with her ear piercings and a necklace. It was her standard attire, though her presence was much stronger than she initially thought as several passersby were either looking or getting out of her way. She entered the class as she normally would but already felt a few stares from the others. Freya sat in the front row where her presence would be the strongest and where she would see the newbie in full view. Her eyes were sharp as a predator, her hair was clean but the wild didn't leave it, her expression was both stoic and yet fierce, and her posture was natural but an aura surrounded her that made her seem like she was going to raise hell.
But she sat quietly and did not utter a word as waited for the teacher in training to come in and do her thing. She just hopes her presence isn't too much. She can't exactly turn it off or anything. She will her presence speak for itself as she waited. Hope Yumi does her best.

Yumi had been pretty nervously waiting outside the classroom, whether she'd made her own way here on the bus or miss Aeris gave her a lift over here, she'd have been a nervous mess then too. Her head was either in her notes for this little mock class, or she was in her phone on the UA chatroom, looking for some final words of encouragement. Between Kaz and the new girl's book suggestions, Feng grabbing all those books for her, and Red himself helping her practically create the whole fake lesson plan based on what little experience they had...she was sure she could pull this off. Didn't make her any less nervous though.
She'd been a little too nervous to ask too many questions, so she wasn't even sure if Miss Aeris had filled the class with actual university students volunteering, or just...anyone she could grab to fill the seats, but given this wasn't some ACTUAL test and it was just for Yumi to get her feet wet on the idea, she'd pull herself together and just remind herself to do her best. She'd...maybe also look to hear Red do the same. Just remind her that's all she needed to do. A warm smile forming on her lips as she sent a final few messages back and forth with her friend...
BONG
Yumi's head rose up. Aeris said they'd ring a school bell when it was time for her to come in and that must have been it...stealing herself with a final breath, she'd hold the book of notes close to her chest and head on inside. She couldn't resist scanning the room at least once, but tried her best to look professional and not break stride, her eyes quickly turning forward and heading for the desk at the front of the room. The computer was already set up thankfully as she'd requested, with the powerpoint she'd sent Aeris ready to go (as much as this was a bit of a test, it wouldn't be fair if she was struggling with a computer she didn't know).
That meant all Yumi had to do was...introduce herself.
"G-good-" She paused, clearing her throat before trying again, her tone more fluent and confident. "Good day class. My name is-" She turned, grabbing a black pen for the whiteboard, making sure she did her name big, but not so much it'd take a stupid long time to write out. "Miss Tasukai." Good to not use her first name right? Right. "And today I thought I would teach you all about soooooome-"
In a quick line under her name, she wrote down her lesson theme. "Electrical theory!"
Turning back to the fake class she laid down the pen, casually trying to see if she recognized any faces beyond Aeris' but coming up short. Still, she held some confidence, standing in a pencil skirt, shirt, and sweater vest, she'd even worn her glasses rather than her contacts in the hopes of seeming a little more mature. "I know Miss Aeris likely told you all I'm hoping to be a hero teacher, so this may not be the lesson you were expecting, BUT!~" She'd chime a little excitedly. "As an electricity based quirk user, this is something I've had to learn a lot of as personal homework, so not only should it show you all the work quirkers have to go through to specialize in their own quirk, but it might also be some stuff you don't already know, even if any of you have experienced the hero course in some way yourself. Any initial questions before we get started?"

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here Everyone she had managed to pull into class was coming in. Everything looked just fine for a nerve rocker. That is until a very rough looking woman walked into the classroom and sat in the front row. Aeris knew instantly who would be this flashy of a delinquent. Especially since she only invited two to do so. There was no way Hellhound would dress like that. Case in point, the single most intimidating Hero in Tokyo right now came striding through the door and sat down next to Mari and Jacqueline. Great nothing like concentrating all the danger into one corner of the room. When she taught 1-A she at least had her trouble makers spread out. With their marching orders already affecting how they entered, there was zero to no chance that they would spread themselves out. So, time for this to start. Pressing the button, she let out the ringing for Yumi to enter. Just like normal high school class starting. Mari had even called for the class to rise, which the other students, who were told to behave as they did in high school, stood up as Yumi walked to the front to her podium.
The screen was just set up exactly as Yumi requested. Tech was no issues. Sometimes she had to get Yumi to set up her video presentations when she was fairy sized after all. Aeris just watched from the desk as Yumi went right to it. She seemed decently prepared with the chalkboard and not immediately throwing it at anyone. Aeris would only fold her fingers together and smile. This bit should get interesting.

The row in front of her, the front row has now been 'graced,' blessed, whatever the hell one would described it, by the presence of Hellhound. She's heard of this woman. Heard of how horribly annoying and loud she is. Seriously, to think that she would have some sort passing interest on this topic is surprisingly shocking, to both the unamused trash persona and to her co-worker in the field of heroism. It makes sense; Freya is boisterous enough that if you were to tell her to be intentionally disruptive, she'll go full in. It's a recipe for intentional disaster, and it's gonna be nice.
So far, the appearance and air that Yumi is giving off is quite normal. Sure, she has the first time jitters as many do, but right now it's not visible enough to most people. Look at her glasses, nice touch to appear more academically inclined. Soheiwa herself has a pair of them back home if she needs some inspiration for a role or for grading paperwork. Her eyesight is still stellar, otherwise she would be rocking nice shades in all of her costumes....damn now she's tempted to leave the place and grab some shades, but that'll disrupt the class...and she planned for that like, later down the line. Gah, timing.
The man in a nice suit raised his hand, as she glares at him about to say something. "Yes I-" She loudly coughs, covering her mouth. He stares at the black haired horrible mess that is her, and looks somewhat annoyed. "..An-anyway, this will be covering the theory under the pretense of organic beings, yes?" The woman softly laughs at the man's kinda obvious question. "If she wasn't, then she wouldn't be here..." She quietly murmured, making the man stare at her again, before looking away not wanting to make a scene. The best route in her case is not to annoy the class herself, but to make others do it for her. It's logical sense, right?

From the moment I walked in, I felt all eyes on me. The passing glances, the stares, the worried looks, seems like my presence is known. The seat I chose was possibly the worst spot but it was open and I didn't want to sit near the window, the sun a goddamn issue with those things. Sitting in the sun during a lesson is going to drive me up a fucking wall if that happens.
As the bell rang, a red-haired girl came in and was rightfully nervous due to what she was briefed on. Seemed to match the job description and everything was going well. Though, Yumi’s introduction was rather natural and doesn't sound too forced. Outfit was professional, she was dressed for the job and she was well prepared. Off too a good start and already more prepared than half the teachers at my old highschool. Then again, this is practice and not an actual class.
However the lesson plan was something I was not expecting at all. I wasn't the best at this sorts of subjects due to the lack of me properly grasping how shit works at times. More of a fan of history or science, I like to hear shit gets done or learn how shit got done. But from the looks of things, she is somewhat well versed in this sort of subject. Not a bad start and depending on how this lesson goes, I could get some info on how to take down electricity based fuckers. She would hear a question shoot up from behind her and sounds like she was nervous. But as soon as she finished asking hers, I would ask an honest question in my standard tone,”Would that also entail the laws on how it works and stuff?”. I would ask as I adjust my glasses, though I hope my god damn natural tone of voice doesn't scare her. Because I was honestly curious on how this shit worked. Learning something new and I get to relax, a damn good start.

As Yumi started to really take in the class before her, she was actually starting to recognize one face...while victory aces wasn't so easily recognizeable without her costume, Freya was a little more iconic. It was a surprise an actual hero was in her lesson but Yumi would try not to bring attention to it. Afterall she had to be professional and just give the best impression she could when presenting herself to them all, offering a warm smile after a brief flash of interest when she recognized Freya, doing her best to just...play the role she was dealt in this odd little situation.
At the question, she flinched briefly at the cough interupting it, and the rather cheeky comment that followed, but yumi would try to answer with a genuine and sweet tone of voice. She wasn't speaking to 'children' persay but she was doing her best to have an open tone so people felt they could ask more questions if needed. "Oh, well, while of course as quirkers its a given we'll be interacting with other humans and organic beings, that isn't going to be what this lesson will be about. As I said I'm really hoping to teach you all something new! So, I could of course go over everything I've learned about how electricity affects the heart, how to avoid long term electrical burns, and the damage it can potentially do to the brain, those will be more...footnotes in my lesson. Instead I'm hoping to offer more a...fundamental lesson. See as important as it is to understand the damage you're doing to something organic, its also VERY important to understand how such a quirk reacts to the environment."
As Freya asked her own question, Yumi would nod with a proud smile as it helped continue the previous answer she gave. "Absolutely. See, while its incredibly important to know the risk these quirks pose to other organic creatures, if you know enough about electricity, you can help prevent that risk all together. You can learn how to treat an electrically induced arythmia in someone's heart, but you can also learn how to prevent them being struck all together!~"
Shifting to her computer set up, Aeris had indeed been kind enough to pre-load her powerpoint, and quickly enough it appeared on the smartboard behind her. She'd pick up one of the pen tools attatched to the board and tap the right side of the squeen. The powerpoint progressed. She tapped the left side, it returned to the title. Just making sure it all worked before actually progressing, confidence building a little as everything seemed to be going smoothly.
"Okay, so for us to start using some strong examples and metaphors I think it's good to establish the example we'll be working with. We all know him, for better or worse. Mostly the worse. We'll be presenting our ideas today using both...-" She tapped the screen, and a police issue photo of Thunder Shock appeared on screen, the type used in news broadcasts regarding him. It wasn't flattering, or degrading, but simply presented him as fact. "Thunder shock. A very powerful villain with an electrical quirk. Now of course not all the laws we're focusing on will have 'bad' results, so for the nicer results...well. I tried to think of a pro with such a quirk, but I hope you don't mind me just being a little selfish in this regard.~"
She tapped the screen, and the next powerpoint page presented herself, a more playful image of her in her hero costume waving at the class, a picture taken by her friend Kouta. "Myself!~"
She didn't expect any questions so far, but she paused for a moment to observe the class and make sure everyone was doing okay so far.

Ah so no organic stuff, just the area around you and other neat tidbits. That's cute. The man in the suit nods, glaring at her again. She just shrugs as Yumi continued.
Dere he was, the guy who did a lot of bad shit. She narrows her eyes at the photo presented. Interesting, to see something presented like that as pure fact and slightly no bias. Interesting pick, she'll have to give her credit when she takes off the disguise. But for now she just nods as she continued on with the topi-ah okay she's also making it about herself. Alright that's one way to teach a class: personal accounts. Eyewitnesses reports and other stuff that involve people involved in the topic discussing it at length. Usually that's guest lecturers or personal stories by the person teaching the class. Not sure if she's gonna discuss her training to illustrate her point but we'll see. We'll just see.
For now, however, a simple scoff will do. Enough to be noticed and easy to blame it on someone near you, like say the earring college student sitting next to her. He seems to be interested in her potentially talking about Thundershock, so it's easy to pass it off as his disinterest. The guy seemed to be annoyed by what she did, but hey. She didn't anything to disturb the class. She just faces forward at the screen, looking at the pic. Nothing loud yet, that's later. She'll start acting up later.

Not bad.
Not bad at all for a first timer teaching something like this. Wasn't a slight bit of nervousness or talking down when speaking to me and relatively clear with how she presented the information. Hell the information she is giving was speaking her language. Leaving here with a way to deal with electric quirks is going to be a damn asset for the team. For medical, battle and prevention, a neat little package for her. This kid is off to a good start but never get too sure.
She would then listen to the lecture as Ms. Yumi would bring up a powerpoint presentation. Lessons like this never go out of style now do they? Something would usually go wrong with these sorts of things but it was going smoothly. Then the image of Freya would come in ...the sight of his ugly mug got her a bit agitated. Natural habit of hers but she grit her teeth as she listened intently. Though the aura around her got slightly intense until the next slide showed the kids picture.
Freya would calm down slowly as she would continue the lesson. So far so good in terms of the lesson as she didn't have many questions. She continued to listen as she would slowly calm down, the temperature around her starting to cool.

Okay…no questions so far… that was good right? Right. That had to be good…yeeeah it just meant everyone was on board. Either that or they were so utterly lost they didn’t know what questions to as-No. Yumi your being paranoid. They’re not expecting you to be brilliant and you havn’t even gotten into the technical stuff yet. And heck, you’re not even training them to be scientists your just trying to make sure they understand the simple stuff so… just focus on that. Make it interesting for them and everything should be smooth sailing.
“Ooookay then…let’s start with a simple concept that’ll help you coach future electrical heroes like me, and deter electrical criminals.” Yumi tapped the screen again to move onto the next slide, big bold word ‘GROUNDING’ appearing across the screen. “Grounding. Now admittedly this isn’t the most perfect use of the term on a technical level but it gets the idea across. Grounding, solely in the context we’re going to be discussing, is literally ‘grounding’ an electrical charge. Forcing it to the ground-“ She tapped the screen again and a slide image of a lightning bolt hitting the top of a tree, with added arrows to show the charge going through the tree to the ground. “where it’s, honestly, pretty harmless.”
She’d tap through a few slides that she’d made solely for a bit of comical effect. About 3 of them were filled with genuine technical jargon of how this worked, one of them was the opening scroll of star wars episode 4, and one of them was just a picture of Red when she’d caught him un-expectedly midway through eating a subway sandwhich. “Of course I could bore you with how this all works on a technical level, but the important thing is you guys get how it works in practice. Trust me as someone who –oh that’s a slide for a class I’m doing on monkeys how’d that get in there-“ She’d playfully comment on the slide of Red’s face, hoping to get a small giggle before she continued. “But yeah, we need to look at how it works in practice. SO! Let’s start with our heroic example.”
On the screen now as she finished skipping the joke slides, there’d be an image of herself, crudely drawn but clear enough that it was her and not Thunder, a ‘bad guy’ drawn in red, and a metal pole on the other side of the bad guy. “Now, when electricity is fired into the air, it naturally looks for the thing that can hold the biggest charge and is closest to the ground. Quirker electricity doesn’t seem to stick to these rules perfectly, but they do help. So, if I were to fire my electricity, and make sure it was as fast and accurate as possible, I’d want to line my foe up so that behind them, there was something my electricity felt attracted to!”
She’d hit the next slide, and the drawing of her would now be firing a bolt of electricity, that went through the bad guy, and to the crudely drawn metal rod, which then shot the energy down into the ground. “Now we have a fried bad guy, and no civilians are harmed by a misfire cause the electricity is grounded.~”
She clicked the next panel and it showed a crude drawing of Red horn, the most recognizeable hero (she hoped) and thunder (with stinky smell lines all over him). “So, your turn. Would anyone like to have a guess where it’d be best to put a ‘lightning rod’ if you wanted to be safe from the bad guys attacks?” She’d turn to the class hoping she was keeping them entertained and providing them with enough to work with…and not babying them too much either.

Alright, as a teacher, maybe ease up on the comedic photos. As a person, this is pretty funny. Beneath the persona, Soheiwa mentally chuckles. At this point, she feels like Yumi is trying to hone her skills for a class that isn't for college students and adults. This isn't a bad thing, of course, but adding a lot of comedic tones only works if you don't do it one after the other. It might work more on elementary students, but older ones need more variety. Perhaps this was a way to keep herself focused. To add some brevity to her stressful lecture. It's all good, as a fellow teacher it's all but understandable.
But why would this persona know this? All she knows, it's some student who thinks its funny to put in random stuff unnecessary to the lecture. Sure, fuck the other people who care about it, but this isn't even funny. Come on now. She just narrows her eyes as he whispers to the front row (Freya) in a harsher voice than her usual tone, so no one can recognize her "Maybe if she stops making dumb jokes this talk can be interesting." Might cause some eyes to notice her.
The first interactive period. Choose which one will get shocked first. Clearly the answer is obvious, but let's be a wiseass. "A tall nearby building." The blacked hair woman said, making sure her voice isn't noticeable to Yumi. "Or a tree." She keeps her eyes half closed, giving off the air of 'what did you expect?"

Freya would be taking notes on this and doing her best to condense it into chunks so officer Samejima can correct it and give it out to the entire office. Electric quirkers are always an issue for the unit, so getting a way to safely deal with them is always a saving grace. This girls lesson is well thought out to say the least as she made it easy to understand with the fonts and everything. Drawing the diagrams would be quick and painless as she can always get her editor to re do it with those magical art hands of her’s. Grounding and how to make use of it during situations start to pop up in her head as the less went on. Strategies that can be thought up and she will test it out with the guys in due time once everything is in order. Hopefully they will use something more safe than actual electric currents since it is fucking lightning and trying to pratice with it is like trying to eat soup out of a fucking power socket.
As the lecture went on, she would sprinkle in a few jokes here or there to keep things going and to keep things light. Hit or miss with the jokes but nothing to inspire cringe, though her friend eating the sandwich was a bit silly. Oh only if this girl existed during her times in highschool, life would have been a bit different. But nothing bad of note so far.
Then the picture of Thunder would show up and boy was his mug ugly. One could only think of the plans he could be thinking up right now as we speak. The villain wanted by many and feared by all is...being used as a highschool example of a villain. Which is nice to say the least since it is free advice on how to take his ass down. Freya would frantically draw a visualization of what Yumi was saying in efforts to pull understand what happens when electricity is live in the air and how to respond to it. A metal rod seems to be the biggest problem solver when it comes to something like this but she will need to put it into practice once more revisions are made.
The next slide would come and it would catch her off guard as it crude drawing of Redhorn fighting Thunder. She would snicker a bit since that image seems almost 1 for 1 with the actual figure."Pffffffft, thats Redhorn alright!" she would exclaim in her mind as she continued to write more notes. But then she would pose a question for the class and as she did, Freyas hand shot up and would answer in the blink of an eye as she was actually paying attention to the lesson.
“Stab the rod into the ground and let all the energy go into that?” she would cautiously answer. If she was correct or wrong, she would take notes word for word to make sure to get a detailed explanation. Because its better to be safe than sorry in these sorts of things.

Yumi winced a little as her question to the class got a somewhat obvious response but sort of missed the point of the question, she was trying to say where best, forward, back left right, but at least the heroine she vaguely recognized had a better go, though she supposed she hadn’t been clear in the question in this case. “W-well you were the most correct miss but it’s a little more complicated. I mean I’m sure it actually feels a little obvious but you’d need to be specific too.” She pressed the screen, the next slide showing Red horn sticking the rod in the ground, and the slide after showing it absorbing the shcok.
“Specifically I was looking for the fact that, while to better target an enemy, you’d want to place them between the metal and yourself, if you’re defending yourself, the metal needs to be between you and your opponent, because that way it absorbs it before it gets to you.”
She’d give a warm, yet nervous smile. “O-of course though, we’ll learn more about it as we go on-“
=due to two members of this thread leaving we’ll be initiating a huge time skip to the end of the lesson. Generally Yumi had moments of nervousness but remained confident. Sometimes the jokes petered out, sometimes she had a wall of information. Notably however, if Freya reviewed her work later on the notes she took, none of it would be innacurate. Yumi mostly seemed to have to work on her delivery, but without a formal teaching education yet, she’d certainly given it a strong effort.=
“So… t-that’s the end of my lesson.” She cleared her throat, nerves spiking a little, some class members clearly bored and her nerves high as this was basically where she’d get her review. “I know this won’t be useful to a majority of you but… I’m open to any criticisms on my work.”

Freya would go through the notes she would take over the course of Yumi lecture and much of it is rather useful, though some concepts were more difficult to others but that can be chummed up to it being some complicated shit. Cross referencing the material and keeping it understandable is a rather difficult thing to do these days, so a wall of information isn't very surprising. By god did she choose a subject she was well versed in because everything single concept was word for word, damn well wouldn't be surprised if she were chosen to teach a college course on this stuff. Her tone was not at all condescending through the lesson and respected the fact that we didn't know. A hint of nervousness could be felt in her voice but that can be chummed up to her doing this for the first time.
However the few issues that were noticed were rather minor or a mistake all first timers prolly would do unintentionally. Forcing some jokes was a valiant attempt but perhaps better timing would aid her depending on the class in question. But that is on her ability to read the room and not a bash on her teaching, but she is new so cutting her some slack is obvious. The walls of information at times is always a constant issue and summarizing many of the concepts would prove useful, the focus on it being easily accessible due various people taking in information different. Diagrams, Examples, Videos, other ways to help the students with understanding. One cannot accommodate all of them but she believes she can make an honest effort with more time under her belt.Delivery of info was an honest issue but this was her first time and still being a student would do that. Nothing a few speech classes couldn't fix but overall she did good.
Kept her confidence and energy up so the class wouldn't get bored. It would get quiet but never a dead air of boredom as some classes would get during her years. She kept her attention and made sure to keep delivering the info as the bests she could and paid off in the end. Not a bad first time but it could always be improved.
“Much of it was executed well, a few issues could be said but I noted it down on this piece of paper...but it's nothing to get too worried about. Just work on the minor issues and you’ll do just fine...take it from this dog..”, Freya would say to her as she would walk up with her usual way. Placing the piles of notes she took on the desk and pocketing the book of information she will relay back to the Hellhounds. This girl is going to be a huge help in the war against crime but she ain't gonna mention that part...at least not yet.
“Kid..you’ll do just fine. So don’t sweat the finer details and all will be clear in time”, she would say to Yumi before heading out. Hoping her usual looks didn't scare the hell out of her, she ain't exactly the teaching type but god does it feel good to see some growth in the new generation.
