Niso had calmed down a lot since his first re-meeting with the child of St Marta's known as Kouta. A gut, visceral reaction in his distorted brain had lead to him trying to kill the boy, but in hindsight...he supposed their existance was something Niso should be praising given his love for chaos. He didn't, he still hated a coward like Kouta dared to try and attend UA, but it was that hatred that deemed it even more as a chaotic act. He wasn't comfortable with it, but he couldn't condemn it either...
And like he'd told Kouta. He was more than willing to be surprised in this case...
Still, with a calmer head on his shoulders, he had a use for his new realization he had even the faintest idea where another kid of St Marta's was beyond himself. Kouta would have a clearer memory of the past years in that place than Niso himself had, and as such, might be able to help him track down that pink haired girl.
With Kyoko randomly dissapearing along with Luzia, maybe she was in prison, he didn't know, he didn't care, getting into her computers wasn't too hard. He wasn't a hacker but with how secure her home already was it seemed she hadn't bothered to be too complex with the passwords. Wasn't like he needed, or could even use the outstanding hardware she'd set up in her room, but it was still helpful to have some SSID PCs to increase the loading speeds as he scoured the internet for a way to contact Kouta...
He didn't have social media...bad start. Okay. Maybe he could get to them through another kid of UA. Searching their social medias didn't bare much fruit either. None of them directly mentioned him but social media was a place to be pretty self absorbed, you tended not to mention your friends unless specifically shouting them out, and if Kouta didn't have social media, no one would mention him. Ugh, there was even some red head girl who all but flashed the world with her exposing outfits. Who the hell lets a girl do that in schoo-
WAIT!
She was promoting Kouta on her photos! He was the one taking them! He had his own blog under 'UA student'. Ugh. No wonder Niso couldn't find him. None of the pictures were self portraits or...selfies, as people tended to call them...he was still a teen himself but god did he hate teen culture.
All the same, he had a point of contact now...creating an account on the site Kouta was on, Niso would create the username "StMartaPunchBag" and send the pink haired boy an IM.
- Its me. Sorry about the other week. I need to talk.
- Akihabara. Mecha themed Cafe next to the book store on 5th
- be there 3 pm this sunday. Take a booth. I'll find you.
- Don't wear UA colors if you can help it.
He thought that should be enough...he may end up waiting there just to get grabbed by police though...
- No (stab emoji). Promise.
There, that should sway Kouta into coming. Niso wouldn't respond if Kouta sent him a message back beyond a thumbs up if he agreed. If he declined niso would still go there at 3pm sunday incase he changed his mind however.

The cold weather was really depressing Kouta at this point. The fact that training outside was just out of the question because his gains wouldn't be as great, as well as the caveat to the indoors training facility where he couldn't stand running around inside a closed space because it just made him feel like a trapped, caged animal at a certain point, he was instead spending his time sat down in his bed, quietly hugging his own knees while wondering about what other people might be doing. The fun that they'd have together, the moments they'd share and the stuff they could do out here.
Gazing out of his window, the quiet boy noticed that the darkness within his eyes was spreading involuntarily, slowly however, noticing its dark blue veins breaking out of its cell to spread across his forehead and parts of his cheeks, all thanks to his rising, worsening emotional state. His loneliness all too amplified by jealousy, desiring to have someone who would think of him in quiet, free days like this. Someone who would smile if he asked them to go outside and do some snow angels, instead of being relegated to sit in his bed to do nothing and feel more trapped than ever before. Snowstorms were awful. They reminded him of the cold nights at St. Marta's. Those cold, lonely nights where all he had with him was the frostbite reddening his skin and the pain from the daily beatings, the cig burnings to sting on his skin.
"Niso was right, Kouta. A child of Saint Marta's could never fit in with these normies - your talents are best used to live your life as you please, instead of obeying people who don't even like you, learning from people who never cared." Further and farther, the darkness trapped in his eyes continued to spread out, like a poison, over his head as to cover it, so that it could have its direct access to the boy's mind and whisper the dark "truths", as it called them, directly into his mind. Once again, the young lad pushed them back quite efficiently, assuring it that the life he pleased to live was right here, becoming a hero and an example for his siblings.
Didn't stop his judgement from being skewered and accepting Niso's invitation he had read a few minutes ago. Akibahara Mech-Themed cafe it would be. Better than spending more time in his miserable loneliness for any longer.
Stepping towards the window, Kouta wondered what would be the best way to reach that place in due time - knowing that he had more than enough time to just take a bus or the train to Akibahara. He figured that it'd just be best to fly there, ignoring the law for ONCE by having his own quirk convince him that he'd just be flying there, hurting no one. Which it didn't. It really hurt nobody, unnoticeable too. With Kouta flying low and invisible due to the low lighting from the dark days and snow that there had been the past few days, the young boy made it to the café with time to spare, no longer in his quirk form, dressed in normal, Non-U.A. snuggly clothing, sat down in the first spot he found.
And all he sent Niso was: "Am here."

Resting his back against the counter, sitting on one of the stool seats that surrounded the main 'bar' section of the cafe, Niso's eyes, a little wider than usual, but looking as sleep deprived and exhausted as ever, continually flickered to the door and scanned the surrounding room beyond that, as if he might have missed the person he was waiting for. Or. Well. 'She' Was waiting for. Dressed in a baggy hoodie and even more loose fitting jeans than usual Niso had taken a rather unique form to act as his disguise. Sure Kouta was somebody who knew his face, but after the boy tried to take a picture of him during their last bout...he was looking to be more careful. His eyes shot to the door again, finally spotting the person he was waiting for. He allowed for some hesitation, making sure they didn't back out at the door with some final regrets, and instead watching them until they finally took a booth seat. Before the boy had even hit enter on the message he was typing up on his phone, Niso was already sliding into the booth seat opposite him. He had feminine features, long messy hair...but with the tired, sunken eyes, and the disconnected cadence he'd soon speak with, it was clear enough who Kouta was sitting opposite of. "So, you-" He paused as his phone buzzed, picking it out of his pocket and looking at the sent message, smirking and showing his screen to the boy opposite him with a cheeky tone. "I'm here too." He'd rest the phone face down on the table, gesturing to it with a quick point. "Remind me to drop that in a milkshake or something before we leave." He'd idly throw out as he met the gaze of Kouta again, a tired smile spreading across his lips. "Sooooo...glad to see you didn't choose the UA colors. Now I feel less of an urge to choke you out. Less. Not none." Fem Niso

A girl came and sat down in front of Kouta. Someone whom he had never seen or met before, which started making the young boy wonder if this was some sort of situation where she'd ask him something? A favor, possibly, maybe some help or tips on a situation she was going through. She looked small, maybe she'd try to relate with him and make friends? No chance she was here to actually flirt with him, not to insult or assume anything, but he was not the sort of guy that would have people approaching him to flirt. Cuz Kouta isn't an attractive guy.
Well, he thought. His usual online trips, where he now worried about Valentine's Day a good time early, he was finding out that people were usually talking about being cool, how tall people had it better, showing confidence, the whole thing. It all made him feel worse about himself, but at least he still had his endless training, where he'd be in such bodily agony that he simply did not have the time to think about the possibility that he'd end up dying alone. The thought scared him, so there just could not be any thinking at all in his day. Thoughts back on track: Kouta isn't attractive in any metric, so why was she even here!?
"You're.. oh. Ooh - aah.." Niso!? Of course it was Niso, he can change everything about him, his quirk is that creepy flesh thing! There were so many male disguises to take, why was he like this!? This was now the figure of a girl, in someone that was very much able to gut him! His breathing progressively worsened, sweat trailing down his forehead, neck and his hands, his entire body twitchy and uncomfortable. "Why.. why do you look like this!? G-Get away.." Kouta whimpered in horror, that sinking sensation overtaking his stomach, his body struggling to back himself into a corner, not even going with the logical option of leaving, instead, curling up as much as the small boy could into his own place, shaking like a scared dog, unable to even look in FemNiso's way.

"...Eh?" Niso just watched as Kouta seemed to be having an absolute fit from the moment he sat down, watching the fear fill Kouta far more than it had when they'd actually been fighting. He'd been going for this guy's head but now he was just sitting there, actually willing to talk, but just because Niso had shifted for he was freaking out as if he'd just seen the ghost of his parents come to haunt him or something. Niso briefly looked over himself, making sure he hadn't accidentally formed a third eye or half a second jaw or something, but patting away at his face everything seemed in order.
"What...what is it!?" He'd whisper-yell towards him, looking for a quick answer so he could try and subtly fix it before Kouta drew too much attention to them. As Kouta seemed to just be flipping out all the same, Niso would round the side of the table and lightly slap the back of his head to try and snap him out of it, his smaller hands making the blow a little less impactful than it otherwise may have been. "Kouta come oooon! You expected me to come to you with my real face!?" He'd hiss in a whisper through his teeth, hands on his hips and glaring down at the terrified boy.
"Look you're stuck with me anyway, cause thanks to some dumbass law-makers, I literally can't change back in this place unless i want someone to report me and go to prison, so summon up that grit that had you tossing me around the other day and suck it up!" Niso stood at the exit of his booth. If Kouta even wanted to leave now he'd have to either push past Niso or climb under the table and exit through the other side of the booth.

"A-A girl! You look like a girl, why do you look like a girl!?" Kouta repeatedly muttered to him as his answer, his body reeking of fear while he shook, turning his head down to bury itself into his knees so that he wouldn't see Niso. As long as he didn't see Niso and really didn't pay too much attention at the slightly higher pitch of his voice, the boy could actually stop going into an absolute fit and actually talk. Way more apprehensively and vulnerable than before, nothing like the hardened fighter who had seen a lot of horrors before that fought Pinocchio off but a few days before.
"I'm scared of women. Back in the.. place. In the place, my abusers would nearly always be women. I'm good now as long as I don't look but.. -please- deepen your voice just a little bit." Kouta almost begged him as an uncomfortable person would to a friend, which might just bring to question their current relationship with each other. If the boy already treated Niso as a friend at this point, it might just bring into question on how lonely the student actually felt in his life that he'd be this easy. Whatever, they had much to do. So, once Kouta was comfortable once again, he simply took his phone out, turning it on to the messages that Niso had sent him, placed the phone down quietly onto the table and pushed it towards Niso's spot, giving him a simple question.
"You asked me to come here, with the promise of not killing me, because you wanted to talk. You don't strike me as a chit-chatty person, so there's invariably something you want to ask of me. Tell me what you want so we can get this over with. The longer I'm in the presence of a girl this dangerous, the sicker I feel - and I don't even have my antidepressants on me." Kouta sighed in a sort of forlorn, tired manner, his body already feeling the repercussions of being in the presence of someone like that. What the eye can't see, the heart won't feel and, yet, thanks to ALREADY seeing it once before, his mind simply couldn't shake off that image.
It felt awful, Kouta wanted to get out of there the soonest possible and, somehow, he had this creeping sensation that it was somehow about to get so much worse.

"...Oh hey, the new night rider merch is in there."
Why would one go to Akibahara? A location of ideas floating around, ideas found in the printed and visual medium made manifest for all to either see or buy. Something that many parents shame and yet see many elder people go to? Dunno, it has cool stuff. Like this new merchandise being sold here. Guess the stores here sell them early. He came here in preperation for the upcoming community show directed by his fellow classmates and more. The second outing of sentai, in all of its low quality yet charming glory. You tend to go to either hobby stores or here for sentai/driver related stuff, and he's dropping by to get some stuff for the special effects group. Unfortunately, he didn't find what they needed. Now, what interested him is another story. Lots of neat stuff here, like...wow, no wonder they call this a haven.
The robot cafe looks neat, so might as well drop by there. He has done a lot of his work for class, and he has time before dropping off the 'supplies' for the team, so why not award himself with a good snack. The aesthetic for this place is far, far, far better than that one Isaac dragged him to. He was dress in a winter coat, with his usual chroniclers jacket not even worn. Listen, much as he loves acting as the chronicler, there are times that you gotta just wear the apporparate clothing for this weather...and also it was being washed right now. Can't really do much for that.
He grabs his order and finds himself a nice table, nearby the booths. Ya know, despite his sister playfully ribbing him over the overall aesthetic of akibrahara and mecha stuff, this place is neat. Lot of normal looking people as well. Like there's that one man, a weird looking girl- nevermind its not normal. Nemi might have a point. But it's not too bad, in fact it has its own place here. Among the rest of the cafe goers were some other students from other schools, a young looking businessman, Kouta talking to a girl, A guy who looks like that one actor from night dri-
....
young looking businessman, kouta talking to a girl.
Kouta talking to a girl.
...call him rude, but doesn't Kouta despise being near girls. he recalls seeing that from a distance at campus and hearing him talk about it once or twice. And it's recent, so he can't just suddenly b-yeah look at his face, he doesn't look like hes having a fun time! Is he alright? Should this be a disciplinary committee thing? Wait, can this even be a DC thing? She's not from their school, so...yeah doubt it can be a DC thing.
...Hmm, who knows. Usually he'll let it go, but Kouta really looks weird. Like he doesn't want to be there. Hmm...either invade a couple's privacy or let this weigh down his conscious...hmmmmmm....gaaaaaaah....
He sighs as he gets off from his table. He'll act like it's casual. Just meeting him here out of sheer coicidence. And it was. And well..he can act, at the very least.
"Itsuki? Oh hey, it's you!" He says, surprised while 'passing' through. "Could have sworn it was someone else, but yeah, it;s you! Hey, how has it been?" He looks at the girl. "...Oh sorry, a-am I interrupting you guys on something?" He says. That girl looks...there's something. Something off. Nothing about her was wrong, but there was something off. Kouta has stated couple of times that he gets nervous from being near girls, and not the usual kind of nervous. But this time it's far more...weirder. He's kinda given up, for some reason. "Well, it's...n-nice to meet you." He tilts his head, still trying to grasp at who this girl was. "You know Itsuki?"

…Really. REALLY!? You’d fought a person who literally snapped his own wrist just for a chance to attack you. Who could pull bones from his hand into his forearms and back again, and who literally used a layer of black flesh like a mask, and the fact he had feminine features is what finally caused you fear!? Niso…sighed, deeply through his nose as he rubbed the base of his palm against his face in frustration, rounding to the other side of the booth table and just resting his head in his hands for a moment, a deep, annoyed sound coming out of him at this revelation.
When he lifted his head again, his own voice was coming out of his throat, which, honestly, wasn’t exactly the most masculine itself. Despite his psychopathic nature, his voice was actually fairly calm and fluid. Could pass for a deep voice girl with how soft spoken he was when he was calm. Back at the orphanage one of the few things he did through his lengthened fugue state was read books, so he was probably one of the best spoken people who emerged from that wretched hellhole, as Luzia could likely attest…not that he knew she was from St Martas. Yet.
“Right. This any better? Would it help if I let you know I literally still have a dick between my legs?” He’d boldly state. It was true but not a fact he wanted to get into the details of either. Not like he was gonna show Kouta the proof in the middle of this place either. “As far as what I wanted…I’ve been trying to track down someone. Another child of St Marta’s.” He’d raise a hand to stop Kouta making any immediate responses. “For good reasons I assure you. You see-“
Oh great. Another wrench in the works.
As Kaz arrived, Niso pulled in his lips with a clearly frustrated expression that was poorly trying to hold itself in, slumping over the table between himself and Kouta as he gave Kaz a set of tired, annoyed eyes in the floor of a skull piercing glare. All the same though it wasn’t like Kaz was the biggest issue he could have gotten. At least Kaz somewhat knew him and…he somewhat knew Kaz. A do gooder by all means but…he could be tempted into trouble if Niso used the right bait sometimes.
“And I know you too Kaz.” He’d speak with a mildly cheeky smirk, waving a hand out as his Niso voice was still present. “Wonder how your memory for voices is.~”

Just as things were slowly calming down for Kouta, with Niso actually having mercy on the scared child and deepening his voice, even cracking a joke that earned a hidden smile from Kouta, even if it was a very naughty and not family-friendly joke, then quietly listening to Niso's reasoning for his invitation, in that he wanted to find someone else from Saint Marta's, for a reason that he was about to say if life hadn't just looked to take the fattest shit on his parade. Out of all the people that could come by and join them, starting from the fact that Kouta didn't want anyone here, it had to be the least nuanced person he knew to come around.
Kaz. No, Kouta didn't see him as any sort of idiot, much by the contrary - when they debated about their favorite authors, he was actually quite smart in his rhetoric and willing to let Kouta listen and not resort to personal insults as a substitute for weak arguments. One thing he was, unfortunately, was lacking in nuance, taking a very direct approach of someone who usually didn't care to think twice. Like why Kouta, even though he had been very clear about his phobia of women, was sitting down in the same table as a girl without trying to run away.
Why he looked pacified (or had given up as Kaz saw it) instead of actively vomiting or silently screaming. Fine, obviously the boy truly appreciated the fact that a friend from school was worried over him possibly being in a bad situation he couldn't escape and came by to talk and assess the situation. Oh my god. Assess the situation!? Now Kouta was actually outright smiling from relief, still with his face hidden in his knees, one of his eyes peeking out to stare at both of them as things went down. As long as Niso didn't say something insane or reveal the true situation and simply went along with what his classmate was already assuming, then it'd all be fine and no can of worms needed to be open.
SO WHY DID HE JUST OPEN THE BIGGEST, FATTEST CAN OF WORMS!?
Had Kouta been in his quirk transformation, he'd likely have called Niso the dumbest guy on earth at that moment in time, having revealed his identity so clearly to Kaz (his words apparently implying that they knew each other), which just opened a lot of possible questions and threw a ton of suspicion onto Kouta's back, who now may have to explain why he was meeting up with Niso outside of some sort of life or death situation, why he hadn't called for any help when meeting Niso.. And if he actually knew Niso.
What Kouta did do was say nothing. As long as he said nothing and acted oblivious, he may still be able to cover his own ass and be able to keep his safe distance and utmost secrecy over his past from everyone. No one, aside from those who already had been part of it, had the right or needed to know his past.

See, he looks better already. Kouta seemed like he was having a lot of nerves from this clearly awkward...yeah, this wasn't a date. A date has more nuance to it, from what he gleamed from dramas and stories. Alright, so far good. He looks again at the 'girl.' Now it was a 'girl.' Looking closer at it, more things were off. The eyes, the weird calm smile, the moment she opened her mouth, Niso's voice came out of it, that weird look of shock Kouta had and- Ah okay yeah sure, this is happening now. This is what he got himself involved with.
He has a neutral look on his face as he observed the 'girl' with Niso's voice. "...Ah." He looks at Kouta and then glances back at Niso. "...Hmm. Well, it's...nice, to meet you again Konto. I'm suppose this is one of your 'chaos' things again, tormenting Itsuki with thi- hey hold on a second. You two know each other?" He crosses his arm a bit. "Huh! Nice to know that! That's pretty cool... Still don't get why all this." He looks at Kouta who looked like he was at peace. "Oh right, uh Itsuki,, we met before a couple of times. He has some good taste in books, but a...odd sense in humor." he slightly frowns a bit. "...As we can see clearly here. Seriously Konto, why all this effort? Seems like you're preparing for a show or hiding from something."

Pinocchio didn't lie. The truth was always more interesting to work with. Whether that was seeing someone's reaction to a blatant, blunt truth, working with the truth so you can present something without getting in trouble. With Kaz it was going to be a bit more of the latter in this case. Telling the truth without letting the delicated details get in the way of an interaction. As Kaz clocked into his voice Niso had to say he was a little impressed, gesturing to the free space in the booth opposite Kouta and presenting a tired smile. "Why don't you take a seat and I'll explain myself a little?~"
He'd wait for Kaz to present himself more comfortably, whether that was sitting down or remaining standing, the chaos child himself rubbing his hands together eagerly as what was meant to solely be business got a lot more delicate and interesting for him to approach. As he questioned them knowing eachother, Niso glanced to Kouta. Tell the truth. But work with it. That was his little method. "Oh we're old aquaintances. Wouldn't call us friends. Heck you probably know me better than he does in some ways Kaz." Not a lie. They knew eachother from st Martas, and while Kouta knew his murderous side...Kaz knew more of Niso's core. His love to cause chaos, even the non-destructive kind...
"As for the disguise..." Niso tugged at the loose fitting hoodie before pushing his hair back, emphasizing the physical aspects of his disguise from clothing to physical changes. "I'll just say if they saw my real face here there's a chance they might throw me out.~" Again, every treading on the surface of the truth. He looked back to Kouta and smirked a little, knowing that both of them were hearing different things in his words. Kaz saw the idea that Niso had been a bit too chaotic and caused a mess here in the past...Kouta saw the boy who tried to murder him not too many days ago.
"But as for why I'm talking with Kouta here that's something more...personal. But I don't mind you listening in if my buddy Kouta dosn't mind?" Niso looked to Kouta and offered him the chance to decide. If Kaz was listening, it would offer them both more...legitimacy. Kouta and Niso had a more malicious connection, but to allow innocent old Kaz to listen in while presenting the idea so harmlessly...well. If Kaz was ever asked to play witness, he couldn't say a bad word now could he? Much like Niso, Kaz didn't look like a lier...~

Nice to meet him again? Hold the phone, stop the show. Those words were more than enough to give Kouta some hope that he'd be completely fine as long as he didn't misstep by saying too much or saying too little. For some reason, the murder-hobo psychopath that is Niso somehow had a friendly relationship with Kaz which, to be frank, felt like the most surprising yet obvious thing in the world. Nothing about the person that is Kazu Fueru is normal, so why would his friendships be normal too? Only a guy like him to actually be on good terms with Pinocchio himself. Likely not knowing his true identity, but.. still.
"Yeah. We're not really friends, just childhood acquaintances as he said." Kouta added to no contradict Niso in any way, wanting their story to be as flawlessly consistent as possible, so that Kazu wouldn't start asking too many questions to which Kouta would have no real answer to. As long as he kept it simple and sneaky, then it'd all be ok and Kouta wouldn't have to worry too much about it.
This meant, sadly, that Kouta would have to agree with everything Niso said and never say no to whatever he asked or said, simply because he was clearly the "leader" in this situation, mostly because he's so unpredictable that trying to get him to flow at another person's pace is a fool's errand that will invariably lead to trouble. Like swimming against a violent current, it's always easy to just go sideways and work with what the current gives you. Niso is that current. A current stronger than Niagara Falls, the difficult-to-deal-with pest of a guy.
"Personal. I--Sure. fine." Would this batshit bananas boy talk about St. Marta's in front of another person that isn't from there!? Kouta had no real choice than to act comfortable with talking about it because otherwise Kaz would figure out that it was something that he preferred to be hidden, but what if he somehow decided to chronicle it!? Boy knows how this guy works, if he chooses a person, he'll start frantically writing about them! What if he chose Niso? He'd write everything about him and what he said. Which meant he'd inevitably write about St. Marta's, creating a written record of the existence of that wretched place. A forbidden place that no one should know about.
After all, if they get found out, they may retaliate against the children in search of the snitch and GUESS who's the most accessible of them all!

Ah, that's...hmm. Still weird. Something off in this table. But he can't place his finger on it, so what can he do but oblige. Ya know something, often times it would be nice to be able to see what lies beneath the interior of a mind. To see what motivates them to say specific words and grant them meaning. The words sound reasonable: They used to know each other. But what was their specific deal? "They are childhood acquaintances." That can mean many things: one is that they used to know each other and only now have they reconnected. Two is they are used to be best of friends until a disagreement befell them. Three, the cynical take: one of them is strongarming the other. Granted, Niso is chaotic and unruly beyond belief, but would he really force someone against their will to...hmm. Alright keeping a huge asterisk on that thought for now. For now, all he can do is just let them talk out the reason.
He adjusts his seat as Niso explained the costume. Ah, alright. Yeah see, what did he say (well, think)? Chaotic and unruly. So either he did something really bad in this place and is banned beyond belief, or...hmm. what's that other second. What, did he get banned from Akibahara?* Yeah no, if he showed his real face in this cafe, stuff might happened. Knowing him...he may have either vandalized, loitered, stolen, perhaps steal something for laughs and giggles...If it weren't for the obvious jester tone he had going, he would be confused as to why he was friends with Niso again. "Yeah, that makes sense..." he says in a dry tone, not really surprised.
"Personal stuff?" He says. "I mean, suppose if the both of are you fine with discussing it with an outsider, I guess." Probably won't tell unless its illegal, he thinks to himself. But then again, this isn't a DC thing. Hopefully. "So then, what brought you two here together again?"
*in a way, yeah, but how would Kaz know that?

Even as Kouta seemed to grow frustrated with how Niso had invited Kaz to join them, you could almost see the comically innocent ‘halo’ metaphorically spawning above his head as he played the sweet little angel role with all his half truthes aimed in Kaz’s direction. Of course, Kouta being so clearly frustrated didn’t help his case but he’d do his best to account for that where he could. Niso may not have been a trained liar persay, but he was a master of half or manipulated truths thanks to ruthlessly forcing himself to work with them to maximize his own fun.
“Oh come on Kouta what’s wrong with a buddy of yours joining us? I mean he’s my friend too so it’s not like we’re introducing some…unknown element into the whole thing hm?~” Of course, even if Niso knew the extent to which Kaz could chronicle the lives of his friends he wasn’t all that concerned. Heck a record of this day may just do even more to lend a sense of innocence to the whole thing. The boy who records everything just saw two old chums having a little conversation? What was wrong there.
“Oh I mean it’s not too personal Kaz so I certainly don’t mind. You see, my old aquiantance Kouta here? He might have had a passing interaction with someone I once knew so I was hoping he might be able to help me find out more about her. I think she went to his orphanage or something.” Again, a VERY careful half truth. It implied that the girl he was looking for went to st marta’s for Kouta, BUT, to Kaz, who might only know of the orphanage that currently housed and cared for Kouta, it’d imply it was a girl from there, giving Kouta no reason to think St marta’s would come to haunt him from Kaz.
“But, really, that’s the meet of our meeting. So Kouta…” He’d lean over the table a little, an…unusual eagerness in his expression as he might have gotten just a little too hopeful. “You know how I can be…throwing myself at danger where I see it. The old noggin’s not what it might have been with all those blows to the head…” He smirked deviously as Kouta would know with all the tossing about the other week, Niso was quite the…self sacrificial fighter. “Do you remember any girl from your orphanage…with vibrant pink hair?” A vague, and wide net perhaps, but it was a start given how limited his words could be in Kouta’s presence. “Silly old me…I somehow managed to forget her name.” And her face…her body type…her approximate age…

Now, in a move that almost felt like too lucky for words, Kazu had gotten a conveniently sudden call to action by someone that, y'know, called him on the phone, which meant that he had to leave before Kouta and Niso actually got to talking, the young, pink haired boy watching with extreme relief as he excused himself and left right out of the same door that he came in, the relief being one so great that he actually let go of his legs, slowly shuffling himself back into a proper position, sighing with satisfaction at his new situation, honestly not even caring about Niso's female figure anymore.
As long as he looked at him for not too long and thought about him as simply a girlish-looking guy, something that honestly worked since the female figure Niso took was honestly quite the sad one of a girl who was honestly WAY too skinny for her own good, it just became an easy image to internalize. And honestly, it was A-OK! In public, surrounded by strangers who must not want any villains close to them, with authorities so easily accessible just by running outside and screaming bloody mary, it'd all be perfectly fine. Niso wouldn't be that insane to risk so much to get so little from someone who he failed to beat once before.
So, Kouta cheered up. And he might have cheered up so suddenly and so fast that it could bring to question his own sanity, even when compared to Niso's.
"Yes, I know you throw yourself at danger every chance you have." Kouta answered with a slight bit of sarcasm to his voice, his torso naturally leaning back to avoid Niso's sudden closeness, clearly still not perfectly comfortable with his girl form or the Niso underneath himself, instead just listening to what he wanted to know. The question that had gotten Kouta to get out of the dorms and in this place. The question made him think, however. Think very hard in fact, since Niso was extremely nonspecific with his parameters for the person he wanted to find, seemingly only remembering the fact that she had pink hair. From what one would be lead to believe at this point, kids from Saint Marta's are prone to having pink hair.
Like Kouta. Or.. the girl. "Yeah, I do remember seeing her a few times at the Orphanage. She had pink hair, was clearly a teenager while I was still in my childhood years so she's probably in her adult age by now, dunno exactly how old.. definitely slim, didn't have her for the fat type. Her face? Don't exactly remember. Faces tended to mesh quite a bit there, though I do remember her eyes were as striking as her hair. Pink, I think -- though a darker pink. Don't remember a damn thing beyond that, INCLUDING the fact that I don't remember her name." Considering all that Kouta had told Niso, however, one was likely to be quite grateful for all the info that Kouta had, his memory apparently undamaged, even from all the years of mental and physical torture. Sure, he didn't know her name and the face escaped him, but he still remembered.
Thankfully, it probably was because she had pink hair. Kouta usually likes to at least try to relate to people with pink hair like him.
