This…this was good? It wasn’t perfect, not everyone was avoiding the awkward feelings in the air, but that was never going to have been the case. Kamenashi was leading it for the two twins and making the effort to talk and in turn Yumi was doing her best to receive her, each of them polite and understanding of eachother. At the comment of her telling her co-interns professionally about the situation, she gave a gentle nod. “Of course, I just…felt they should get a better understanding. Didn’t want them coming in here thinking you just did what you did out of some sense of cartoon villainy ya know?”
At the comment about what she said to the police however…Yumi tried very hard not to lower her head, it dipped just, half an inch maybe? But she tried to keep her gaze up, if certainly seeming apologetic…though, maybe she was reading it wrong, but Kamei’s look to her sister made Yumi think she was right to have worried. “I’m…sorry. It was a tense situation and I over-reacted…I…I actually didn’t think you’d heard me…” She rubbed at the base of her neck again, definitely still feeling some regret for her outburst. “I was just…I’m sorry. Genuinely. I could spend the whole hour explaining myself but…yeah.” She met the girl’s gaze, tapping on a note Feng too would apologize for later herself as she simply added- “Also…sorry for any…electrical burns. If it means anything they don’t tend to last forever, if the other kids at my school are anything to go by, hehe…”
Even with a bit of a dip in the mood Yumi couldn’t help but just feel…positive about this all. Kamenashi seemed to have a positive outlook of her situation, as best she could, the twin sister…not so much, but it was understandably so. She’d try to keep the mood somewhat light between the 5 of them, responding to Kamenashi’s comment on their clothes. She’d lift her own hand up- “Well you see for me my quirk-“ She stopped, she’d raised her hand because it had become an instinctual reaction to display some light sparks when talking about her quirk to someone, but it was best she not. Lowering her hand she’d continue. “My quirk er…generates a small repulsive force. It’s not much but its like a fine layer of electricity between my skin and the suit so I do pretty okay. Don’t know about these girls though.” She’d shoot them each a brief smirk, hoping to keep things reasonable, yet upbeat for everyone.
…Then Angel spoke.
Yumi had no idea what to say, but without outright lashing around to her she shot Angel the biggest W.T.F eyes a girl like her could manage. They were dealing with two people who just got pulled out of their day-to-day to talk with them and she was giving this…okay she could see the girl was trying to be optimistic but she was treating the twins like a project to fix or something. Come on Angel this wasn’t some A to B lesson where if you give them the magic prompt everything was fixed! Angel beat her to apologizing for Angel, but Yumi’s intensified awkwardness probably apologized for her without words too.
Still…
“Feng thank you but…it’s not too fair for us to hush Angel up like that. I appreciate both of your attempts but let’s just…” She specifically aimed her eyes at Angel. “Think a little more before we speak. Okay?”
She’d look forward, bowing her head apologetically to the two girls. “I’m sorry. You’re not here to see us squabble or anythi-“ She paused, about now being when Kamei was using her quirk and avoiding being watched by the screens. Yumi’s eyes flickered to the one way mirror wall at the opposite end and…swallowed a lump in her throat. She shot her fellow heroes in training a look not to say anything. Kamenashi didn’t seem too comfortable herself, but Yumi wanted to try and build trust between them all rather than shut the needle girl down for an angry slip like that. In the pit of her gut her Paranoia briefly told her this was a test, and she was failing by not telling anyone, but she knew the reality of this, from the initial capture of the criminals, to their publicized trials and the like…just shut up paranoia. Life wasn’t one big test with a definite answer. “And…we don’t wanna see you two fight.” She’d finish her sentence with. It was given a sympathetic tone, as if just not wanting to see them argue, but the look between the twins was hopefully a small warning too. Yumi wasn’t about to tell, but they shouldn’t give her a reason to either…
At the comment of knitting herself back up, Yumi hesitated. That…Okay. Quirk fascination aside for now. She didn’t wanna pry too much, especially when Kamenashi was asking for the courtesty to ask her own questions.
“Absolutely. I don’t think any of us have a problem with that. It’s a conversation afterall, not an interrogation.” She’d glance to the others. “Right girls?”

A s Kamei began to scold and yell at her Angel just went silent and let it happen as the realization of what she said and the realization and implications hit her. She had asked two twins who were headed to prison in two years about their future or their plans. She once again allowed her blinding and almost unwavering optimism blind her of the situation in front of her which caused her to essentially put her foot in her mouth. Once Kamei was done yelling at her and put her hand under the table Angel listened to both Yumi and Feng apologize for her before nodding. "I'm sorry..I was just..I'm sorry. I'll be more careful with my questions and statements from now on."As Feng basically told Angel to shut up and not speak unless spoken to Angel's smile for the first time since sitting down wavered for a brief moment as her eyes grew slightly angry. Angel for just a moment was flashed back to her childhood and her slaver of a father telling her to do the exact same thing. This flash of anger caused Angel to squeeze the top of her chair tightly as she shot a quick glare at Feng. Before she could say anything however Yumi quickly interjected saying that it wouldn't be fair to not let her contribute. This lead to Angel taking in a deep breath and loosening her grip on her chair after a moment as she nodded in thanks to Yumi. "Thank you Curved Lightning. I will be more careful with my words. You are right by saying that the twins aren't here to see the three of us squabble. It's quite unprofessional isn't that right Typhoon Dragoon?"Angel then motioned with her eyes to Feng while emphesising her hero name to Yumi as if to silently remind her not to use their real names. Despite the fact that they did not wear masks with their costumes they still needed to keep their secret identities in tact. As both Yumi and Feng apologized for their short comings during their previous conflict Angel remained silent with her smile ever present though a close look in her eyes would show what she was truly feeling. She regretted having to take away these two young girl's freedom away from them so soon after they faced such a tragic loss. Angel had once heard a saying that everyone carried their own prisons with them and if that was true then now these two girls were trapped not only in their own grief, but also in an actual prison thanks to the three heroes in front of them. As Kamenashi asked the heroes if they could ask questions and Yumi said yes while asking her partners the same Angel just nodded. "Of course. We will do the best we can to answer whatever you ask."

Perhaps Feng was out of line. Her emotions may have gotten the best of her and she was no better with her outburst at Angel. She was already irritated with her from the beginning of the trip and her questions didn't help her case. Why would someone even ask that from the get go? Why? There’s a time and place for that sort of question, but this was their first time doing this.
But it still doesn't justify the blind optimism. Hoping for the future for the rehabilitation of the suspects are fine but they are still criminals. Looking far into the future makes you lose sight of what's in front of you. Recent events have gotten her thinking about the ideals she held close to her heart and heralded as truth. How fragile this ideal must be for suspects like these to shatter it with their reasons. It makes one wonder if any of this will actually help these girls. A part of her hopes but another part starts to doubt all of it by the end of it.
She looked to Yumi and nodded as she knew she was out of line. But acknowledging her action doesn't mean she will say sorry for it. She will not go back on what she said. We are heroes and she is not backing down from her words. The words spoken to her have a different meaning but it didn't matter to her, for as long as she knew where the line was.The glare she shot held a different message but it was none of her concern as her goal was accomplished.
The world is going to be tough and sometimes a reminder that everything around them will not be so kind to them in the future. Change is needed and we need to be strong. Flowery words and a few words of kindness can’t save lives. She must be strong for the future and to see that these girls are rehabilitated.
Though these girls quirks only start to intrigue her as she witnessed one of them slowly pull herself back together. What exactly is their quirk and what is their relation to the sister who left them? Nevermind that, she would set those thoughts aside as this was a visit and not an interrogation. Hachi isn’t here and they are still in training.
Feng wanted to take some notes but she sure as hell doesn't know the policy in this place. Thus she would listen intently and make sure that she would get the fullside of their story. To know for a fact that her regrets are either justified or wasted on the twins. One is genuine while the other is filled with venom. Empathy is a terrifying thing, these girls could have killed those people. But they didn't and in the end, they were victims of circumstance. Nothing more nothing less.
“I have no qualms with it...this is a visit, after all…”, she would reply to Yumi’s question as she kept her composure.

" I'm alright with electric burns. Used to give myself them by accident a lot when I was growing up...uh, not fun." Kamenashi glanced down at her hands and exposed arms. While more faded than they had been in their battle, she still had numerous bruises covering her pale skin. Her attention returned. " Huh. Well, I guess I can't really do that with my Quirk. I mean, I could if it was normal woven stuff but not this. So I guess I'll just suffer through it...they give us this powder stuff to help it go on but it just, ugh, it's so weird still." She was trying. She was trying so very, very hard to keep things light and keep things calm, but all the while Kamei was curled in on herself, not saying a thing. It made it all the harder to keep a smile on, let alone to try to force one. Her brow furrowed a little more. " Um...us not fighting is kind of hard. I don't think we've agreed on a single thing since we got here, so...that's...kind of a lost cause, yeah?" Kamenashi shrugged her shoulders slightly at Angel. " ...I don't think there's a single thing any of you can say that will make her not hate you all. So. It's not your fault." Kamei scoffed at that, a weak half-smirk appearing for just a second on her lips. But she didn't even try to deny it. The opportunity to ask a few questions lifted both of their heads just a little more, and for the first time they spoke in almost perfect unison: " What happened to Shoda Arinori--" And then it split in two again: " --and the others?" " --is he alive?" The twins looked at one another very pointedly, then back to the three of them with highly expectant eyes. What they were looking for was difficult to say, but Kamei's core reasoning was much easier to figure out than her sister's. Even in captivity, even having plead guilty, even facing jail, her end-game was still clear. She was still set on murder. Or at least just knowing the bastard was dead.

Yumi smiled just faintly as the other girl was talking about her uniform. Sure, she was complaining but…it felt like a more stable and easy topic for them. The prison visit equivalent of talking about the weather was her best way of putting it. A simple, every day life little problem. Still a big divide between them, but far from the tense situation of discussing their situation at large. Yumi didn’t realize this sense of…peace, in the conversation wouldn’t last long, but she’d work on that later.
As she glanced over at the girl revealing her bruises, the fact they were electricity burns (if Yumi was understanding her right at least) registered with Yumi a bit more and her eyes widened. Her lips parted to ask a question as her fascination with the girl’s quirk grew but…no. She was being paranoid. The girl was being open and displaying them herself, so while Yumi made sure not to sound too eager or excited to be talking quirk details.
“Oh so…since you control threads, do you build up a huge static charge or…is your quirk electricity based somehow? I think I remember you sending some energy back against my own but…” She let out a weak chuckle and rubbed the side of her neck. “Everything was so hectic I don’t remember so well…”
She hoped this was okay…just, talking. She was always worried the needle twin was gonna shoot her a sharp glare for saying the wrong thing, but the thread sister seemed more than happy to talk if Yumi was honest.
Of course, when their own questions came, the peace was shattered somewhat, and however either of them added to their own version of the question, their united words made it clear what they both wanted to know.
She took a slow breath, briefly lowered her gaze, before turning her eyes to them,. Briefly her paranoia this was some sick test rose again. Should they really tell the twins anything about that? It wasn’t like she knew anything personally…for herself. She’d speak honestly. Sure maybe they were actually being recorded, but even then, it wasn’t like she had much to spill.
“I…don’t know. If I’m honest. I know a majority of the hostages were in okay condition but as you know I stayed to talk to you Kamenashi.” She gave a light shrug of her shoulders but otherwise remained in a more professional pose than the slightly relaxed one she’d been in a moment ago. “I imagine if there’d been any severe casualties the news would have reported it though…girls?” She’d glance to her intern-mates for a moment, flicking between them, wondering if they had any more to add. “I doubt either of you know which of them was Shoda, but how were the hostages generaly when you saw them off?”

Feng was relieved that her kick didn't do too much damage. She was worried that she may have gotten carried away and left some serious scars as she has yet to control her flames properly at the time. The kick did feel little to no resistance and she was worried she may have broken something in her arms. If she didn't block the hit, she may have taken more considerable damage to her body. Though her arms did show the damage they had done to her, her somewhat delicate white skin bruised by the damage. Criminal she was but the damage left its marks and it was quite hard to hot glance at them at least once or twice. Most of the worry stems from the guilt that was rooted since the day, even months later
However her tone of voice also reflected the current mood of the entire visit. It was a delicate balance between morbid and light as they were on opposite sides of the fight. The twins in front of them did take a few hostages and others were the heroes that stopped them from taking lives. Its somewhat difficult to not steer the topic towards that obvious connection but at least one is trying. The prickly sibling in both personality and power was much more spiteful. Considering the injuries on Hachi and what happened to Angel when she poked her, it was fortunate that Feng didn't fight her. There was an obvious rift in all sense between the groups here and the atmosphere is so tense, you can cut it with a knife.
But the rift wasn't only us and as there was a noticeable rift between the twins. The time they were here, it seems like they were on opposite sides of the spectrum. Kamenashi was more remorseful about her actions compared to Kamei. Feng always had an eye for detail but it was differences were night and day. It's not to say that they were not justified in their anger and why they took actions
The group denied them the justice they wanted to seek for their sister. They took it into their own hands when the laws failed them. It’s blood boiling that things turned out the way they did, if someone could have came in earlier and prevented this. Perhaps they could have been heroes...but the past is in the past. Nothing change what is happening now and now they have to live their mistakes. They were committed to their goal and it was right to stop them.
It was then they both asked in unison a man who was among the hostages. For a slight second, things got eerie. Everything was centered around this single man, what did he actually do, why did he do it, who was he actually, so many questions could be asked. But asked them would only invite more rage from the prickly twin so she would refrain from answering a question she has no answer to.
But there was a question she can answer. The civilians who were taken hostage and one who was awake during the whole ordeal. Feng would answer Kamenashi question after a moment of pause,”The highschoolers are expected to make a recovery and the clerk as well…”She answered calmly. During the time in between clashes, she was told that the girls wanted to offer their gratitude to her and the clerk as well. However, she made it clear that she was only and intern and she should thank Hachi. But that didn't stop a few gift baskets in spite of that. A part of her was relieved that she was worried about the hostages. Remorseful or not, they were OK thanks to their intervention. It doesn't change the fact that they threatened their lives.
But Kamei’s tone had a different intention. She seemed more concerned about the man who caused all of their suffering. Despite everything and what is happening now, it seems that one of them won't rest until she knows this man is dead. Yumi would be more suited to answer that half of their question. The last she saw of him, he as on a stretcher and muttered something but it was too faint to make out. Bringing it up would only excite them more so she left Yumi to fill them in on the details.

A s Kamenashi explained the limitations of her quirk Angel decided to remain silent and just take in the information. Angel knew full well that she wasn't exactly the most gifted when it came to the scholastic parts of U.A. due to her trouble of setting still and focusing in class. When it came to things that had to do with hero course work however she felt as if she excelled because it involved physical activity, strategy, learning about quirks and saving people! That's why as Kamenashi spoke Angel's face looked as if she was taking mental notes on a sketchpad in her brain. Despite what the quirk had been used for it was still quite unique, interesting and unlike anything she had ever seen before. Once Kamenashi finished her explanation Angel gave her a grin. "Limitations or not,you have quite the unique and special quirk. I know this might not mean much coming from me given the situation, but you are quite talented and have great control over your quirk and that's saying something considering your not even a U.A. student."Feng and Yumi may not like it that Angel was still trying to find common ground with Kamenashi and bring a bit of hope and a positive spin on the twins situation. The reason for this was quite simple. Angel knew quite well what trauma and the feeling of hopelessness could do to somebody if they had no one to nurture positive feelings to help with the healing process. Once Yumi finished asking her question about the twins quirks Angel noticed Kamenashi looking toward her before saying that there was probably nothing Angel could say that wouldn't make her sister hate the trio of heroes. Angel just smiled at her and nodded. "That may be true but.."Angel went silent for a moment before pressing the neck of her costume which hid the metal collar and broken chain around her neck that had been placed there by her father and her former slave master before looking back at the twins as her smile faded slightly and her gaze grew a bit more serious. "I just want you both to know that even though it may seem like you are alone in your grief and trauma you are in fact not. Out of the three junior heroes sitting before you I know the most how trauma can shape you and how alone in the world it can make you feel. It may not be my place to offer this, but if i'm allowed and if you would like me to I would be happy to continue visiting you. I don't believe you are truly evil. What you did may have been wrong, but you were acting out of grief and loss and not out of an urge to cause pain and death. I guess what i'm trying to say is I'm here to help you if you'll allow me to be."That's when the question that had been hanging in the air since the meeting had begun finally dropped down like a nuke. The twins finally asked if their intended target Shoda Arinori had survived along with everyone else. As both of her team mates confirmed that everyone made it out alive Angel nodded along. "We weren't given names, but i can also confirm that all of the civilians made it out alive with only minor or mild injuries. They are all expected to make a full recovery."

Kamenashi's demeanor was relaxing when talking about her Quirk, little by little; her shoulders weren't as tense and her smile was easing up into something less "obviously friendly" and more calm. She wasn't showing any visible signs of discomfort when discussing her abilities with Yumi, nor did she seem bothered--embarrassed or upset or otherwise--as Angel pipped up about how she perceived her Quirk. She raised her uninjured hand to rub the back of her neck and chuckled softly. " A little of both? I don't really know how it works, like, specifically. It just makes electricity when I want it to, and I can pump that through the threads. I'd just use it for, like, turning on or off lights if I was being lazy, or doing funny stuff like...like light-up sweaters and dumb things like that. But. Um." Her good humor lessened and her hand rested flat on the back of her neck, close to where the thread had appeared from that day in Akihabara. Her eyes flickered between the three of them before they focused on her own knees. " I...I had to get good at it, to counter Kame-nee's Quirk. So. It was necessary for me to learn to use it really well." Kamei's lip tucked into her mouth, her teeth visible as she chewed on it silently. Her expression didn't change. " ...that's totally illegal, I know, but we weren't doing it out of our house, and it wasn't like we...intended to use it to hurt people then. And Kame-nee can't help it, it's not h--" " Kamenashi, shut up." Kamei cut in. Kamenashi looked at her without lifting her head, sighed, and lowered her arm. Angel's words didn't seem to reach Kamei at all; at least not in a way that made her physically respond. She stayed tense and cold, not looking at her despite being directly addressed. The offer to be visited again and again, and reminded that she wasn't being seen as evil for what she did, earned no response. Then again, her lack of outright anger or an outburst may have meant she was taking the words to heart instead of disregarding them in anger. It was hard to tell, but maybe she was listening after all... Their reactions to hearing about the hostages was varied, obviously. Kamei " tsk'd" into her lips and dug her ankle into the leg of her chair, visibly bothered by the lack of an answer to her question. Kamenashi sighed again, though this time with relief thick enough to carve into. " Thank God. I. I looked up before going in how much force you needed to knock people unconscious, and it didn't even...didn't even mean anything to me until afterwards how much I could have really fucked some of them over. But. That one girl--I was shocked that she woke up." She paused, then, despite herself, snorted loudly into her hand. " Sh-Shocked. Hah. Because. Because when she was about to out me, you electrocuted me from the other room. That was bad." Kamei lifted her head just to stare at her sister like she had spontaneously sprouted horns. " A-Anyway," Kamenashi continued, suddenly sheepish, " I was sh--surprised she woke up at all. I hit her just the same as everyone else. Maybe she had a Quirk and I just didn't realize it. Um. Not that it matters at this point." Kamei looked from Kamenashi to Angel, then, unprompted, said aloud: " Why'd you give him one of your feathers? You were standing right next to him. I saw you helping him. You have him one of your feathers--he held the damn thing like a lifeline. Are you still in touch with him?" All while speaking Kamei didn't blink her blank white eyes. Kamenashi, did, however, blink, before slowly meeting her sister's gaze, also staring at Angel. Her hand twitched. " ...K-Kame-nee, she didn't know, it's not like...like she--" " I'm only asking, Kame-chan."

Yumi was glad she found a nice chord to strike here and was gonna try and continue this line of thought where she could. Hearing about people’s quirks was something she always enjoyed and it seemed like the thread twin definitely liked giving up information about it too. She got a little worried that there was something about countering her sister’s quirk but…as she got worried about admitting that she practiced long before the kidnapping incident, Yumi shook her head.
“No, no. Don’t worry. We’re not about to add to your sentence for an admittance like that or anything. Not ever quirk can be suppressed, and sometimes they can be needed for the small things. Like-“ She presented her hand as she had intended to do before, but made sure not to use her quirk, just using the gesture as a tool to explain. “I can build up static in my skin cause my heartbeats generate small amounts of electricity. So, every now and then, I need to use a very, VERY small burst of my quirk to discharge, otherwise anyone who shakes my hand gets zapped. With my suit it’s not a big issue, but I’ll freely admit, to keep myself and other people safe, I had to use light instances of my quirk… so don’t get too worried about it.~”
She’d add a small wink. “There. Now if they try and get you in trouble for it’ll bite me in the ass too for admitting I did it too.” She wasn’t lying either, it was a…small use of her quirk that was pretty harmless. Heck if anything, it helped avoid harm.
The thread twin’s reaction to the hostage information was promising from there forward. She was maybe hoping she could visit her more in the future and just…keep her updated with how things were going if Yellow Jacket let her stay updated herself. She clearly cared about the damage she’d caused and did try and make the effort to look it up before hand…that probably meant the same was true of the needle twin…Yumi just needed to think of a way to bridge the divide the-
…Okay. Yumi had to have words with Angel later. Maybe suggest she take a class on speaking from Mosa, because while she got it, she understood angel was trying to relate to the kids before her, and she;d always understood the vague idea that Angel had some sort of..traumatic past or something with her dad, the fact she dared to make the bold assumption that she was ‘the most knowledgeable on trauma’ to put it diplomatically. When the sharp question came aimed at her, Yumi couldn’t even think of an easy way to defend her but…
“She didn’t know the facts of the situation.” She spoke clearly. “I’m sure Angel can explain herself better but…bare in mind, all we saw when we arrived on the scene where hostage takers, and hostages. We didn’t know any of the wider context…. Though I can’t speak for Angel if she’d have done the same had she known?” She’d turn her eyes to Angel, giving her the chance to speak for herself on the topic.

The rift between the twins began to show more as each exchange became more and more obvious. Maybe it was her learning her mistakes and regretting it, maybe it was to look good in the light of the law. None can really tell but I very well cant say anything given how mixed my feelings on them are. They aint older than me and sure as hell aren't bloodthirsty serial killers. Hell their outlook on the survivors drove the point home.
The twins reaction to the condition of the hostages were… differing to say the least. Kamenashi was surprisingly relieved at the news while Kamei wasn't as thrilled and seemed almost disappointed to say the least. A mixed reaction to say the least, but it was obvious who was going to get out on nice behavior. Who exactly is the man we save from these two, who atrocious was his actions to earn him this much ire from these two?
……...Lets not dwell on that for now.
Yumi would lighten the mood as she would speak to them without any fears. It was relieving and albeit envious that she can do this so easily while Im sitting here all nervous and barely speaking. Why did I even come in the fist place if all I did was this in front of suspects? What kind of hero am I exactly.
But the twin would bring up the moment of their meeting. It was quite a surprise to say the least given the tension of the situation. No sight of her or her sister, the hostages left in a store and tied up, a puppeted man in a coat and all the wires above. It was suffice to say that it was something that I would prefer not to talk about. Kamenashis attempt at humor stuck out like a sore thumb on lightening up the mood. Though the thought of the girl she saved being a lot more sturdy than the rest did warrant some curiosity. As was their statement on knocking people out..though that could be debated given the condition on the other school girl and the clerk. Possibility that the girl who woke up had a different body composition than the others could be there. But this aint about her and it was distracting her from the actual subject here.
The spotlight then switched to….Angel. Some team we have here and one of us is trying to play the voice of reason, while another is actually doing it. I...have no other words to say, I have to keep myself composed to prevent another breakdown. Yumi is the only one here I can trust in this situation due to her previous actions. My trust is placed in her since...Im not a very good wordsmith when it comes to situations like this. But now all the focus is on Angel, the one who poked Kamei and gave a feather to one of the hostages. The more aggressive twin is now taking action and that is a sharp question to ask at a time like this. Fixated on the her dramatic way of showing her heroism to say the least.
Though her words and actions are starting to show as she pointed these words at Angel. Depending on Angels response we could get more insight on why this all happened. However it will come at the cost of at least one of them being hauled off or the visit ending earlier. I would just take a deep breath and listen what Angel has to say for herself barring the...issues I have with her philosophy on this entire situation.

A s Yumi explained to the twins that she often had to release some of her inner electricity so that she didn't shock those around her and that the trio wasn't about to add to their sentencing because they happened to use their quirk at home Angel just nodded and to help demonstrate the point reached to her back and plucked out one of her feathers and began twirling it between her index and thumb fingertips. Angel honestly hated the law of not being able to use her quirk without a licence, but she knew that the law was there for a reason. "My team mate is right. We aren't gonna get you in trouble for having to use your quirk at home. I have to do the same thing after all. Like a bird out in nature I have to do what's calling Preening where i discard broken or bent feathers so that new stronger ones can grow in their place. Launching them as projectiles helps cut down on how long the process takes,so there is no need to feel bad about it as long as you don't do it in public."As the question finally dropped of why Angel had given away one of her feathers to the hostage that had been Kamei's true target Angel just plucked a second feather and added it to the one she was already twirling. As she did so she listened to Yumi try to defend her actions by saying that like her two partners she didn't know the full situation upon arrival and while that was indeed true that wasn't the only reason she had proceeded to do the act of kindness. Once she was ready to answer Angel locked eyes with Kamei, but kept her trademark smile upon her face. "Curved Lightning is indeed correct. I didn't know the full story when we arrived to save the hostages. To answer your question no I'm not still in touch with him. I hand off my feathers to those I save as a form of a promise to help comfort them while it's also my form of a calling card. When I give someone I saved or helped one of my feathers it's my way of promising that even if i'm not around the Angel of Mercy is watching out for them. I chose my hero name as a vow to both myself and those I save. I vowed to never be cruel or cowardly,to never give up or give in,to always show love and compassion and most importantly to always show mercy even to those that some may not believe deserve it all while having a smile on my face."Angel then slightly turned her head and smiled at both twins. "I am deeply sorry for the pain he caused you and the loss you have suffered I truly am,but as a hero I couldn't allow you to kill him. Once word gets out to the proper authorities about what he did I'm sure he will face justice. I completely understand if you hate me for saving his life, but the way I see it by not letting you end his life you have been given the chance to heal and turn things around. Speaking from experience all though our trauma may be part of us we can't allow it to consume us. I believe deep down you are both still compassionate and loving individuals and once you are released you will have the chance to prove it. I believe in the both of you."

" Okay...that's, um, a relief. Thanks." Kamenashi deflated a little knowing that she wouldn't be getting into more trouble for admitting to using her Quirk--or rather, training up her Quirk in the privacy of their own home--in secret, or that her sister would be in trouble for not really being able to help it. Kamei glanced up, too, regarding both Yumi and Angel with separate but equal amounts of coldness and... ...understanding. She glanced away from them both. Something about knowing that two hero students couldn't help but use their Quirk, for one reason or another, had some sort of effect on her. Judging from how her posture relaxed ever so slightly it might have been a good one. It did not, however, effect the way her eyes drilled into Angel as she waited for an answer. She didn't even bother looking at Yumi as she tried to cover for it. Kamenashi gave a worried look between her sister and the heroes. " Y-Yeah, what Curved Lightning said, it wasn't like she..." Kamei held up a single finger in Kamenashi's face. Not to touch her, not to hurt her, but just to tell her without words to stop talking. Kamenashi's lips thinned into a line. But she listened. They both listened, intently, to Angel. It felt simple enough. A calling card, a reminder that the hero would always be watching--it was an innocuous, kind gesture that had no deeper meaning when given to that man than it would have any other person she had saved. It just so happened to be given to him, not to anyone else. As Angel went on from explaining the symbolism to reassurances that their failure and their capture was really for the best, Kamei's already cold glare narrowed to slits. Somewhere in there, Angel had lost her. " From experience? You keep saying that like I give a fuck about your trauma. Like your suffering whatever made you want to be a hero makes you qualified to relate to me?! Newsflash, Mercy, there's probably a reason past 'trauma' that you picked being a hero and we didn't. How 'bout instead of expecting me to give a shit about you and your pain and thinking it makes you some goddamn expert on how it feels to lose everything important to you, you answer a fucking question without that stupid smile on your face." Kamei drew in a ragged breath, " Would you. Or would you not. Give him the same stupid show of mercy. Knowing. What. He. Did. To. Her."

O ne look at Kamei's narrowing eyes showed Angel that she had lost the young girl. This caused Angel's smile to fade slightly as she remained silent and let the hurt girl speak. As the grieving girl yelled at her telling her that she was no expert in what they were going through and that she needed to answer a question without a smile on her face. If that's what the young girl wanted then that's what the girl would get. For the first time since the meeting had begun Angel's smile completely vanished off her face which was an extremely rare sight to see to those who had experience around her. She then stood up silently just long enough to flip her chair around so she could sit up straight to lock eyes with the girl. "I know that our types of pain are different Kamei. I was just trying to find common ground with you. As the saying goes it takes one to know one. I not unlike you and your sister had a choice to make. I could have chosen to become the Angel of Vengeance and take out my pain and anger on every child abuser and bigot I could get my hands on. I've been right where you are. No I have not lost a family member, but I do however struggle with the urge to take out my anger on the bad guys of the world every single day without an ounce of restraint. What keeps me from doing so is the thing sitting next to you right now. The thing that keeps me from going down that path is family. I am sorry you lost your sister and forgive me if this comes out wrong, but you still have one who is trying to help you. I guess what i'm trying to say is you may not care what I or my team mates have to say,but you still have a loving sister who wants to be there for you and help you heal which is more then most people have."As Kamei asked her if she would still show the man who killed their sister the same kind of mercy now that she knew what he had done Angel just took a small deep breath before crossing her arms in thought. She went quiet for a moment as she considered this question. Would she still show the man kindness despite he lead to such heartache? It was a similar question to if she would ever show kindness to her father. To this Angel knew her answer. "Not in the way you saw no. While I would not allow you to end his life as that would just continue the cycle of hatred and loss I would however make sure he once healed be apprehended by the proper authorities so that he like you are doing now pay for his crime and serve time for it. I'm sorry, but no matter what he has done I couldn't allow you to take his life. While you and others may think he deserves it that is not your or even our call to make. I assure you that we as heroes now that we have the full story will do our best to make sure he is dealt with properly. Both of you deserve that much."Angel then looked over at Yumi with her smile still not having returned and gave her a small nod. "Once we leave here I plan on talking to Ms.Yellow Jacket about it. You two can join me if you'd like. These two despite their actions and how they chose to go about it deserve justice for their sister. It's the very least that we can do. Don't you agree?"

Yumi tensed a little when the questioned were turned more forwardly on Angel, not even about to lie to herself and say that Angel hadn’t just… been choosing her words very poorly today. When a finger was pushed towards the face of the thread sister Yumi found it even harder to remain still. She’d chosen her favorite pretty easily here, sue her, and with Angel put on the hot seat in this whole thing she was very worried the girl was going to just make things worse…but…
All things considered… what came out wasn’t bad. Maybe not the best but it got her ideas out cleanly, told her side of things, made it clear she wasn’t a perfect match to the tale of the two sisters before them, and showed a heroic sense of restraint but an empathy to the rage that the sisters felt, and it was certainly something Yumi could relate to in a way. Even personally she never saw herself ‘taking out her anger’ on the bad guys in any way, but she certainly had that feeling of a gut reaction of wanting to enforce some sense of justice the proper channels might not so easily allow… but she’d always readily push those thoughts aside.
She didn’t try to demean Angel’s own great effort of putting herself forward by speaking for her, but at the final comments she would add. “Actually… while I won’t want to try and belittle Angel’s own words on the matter I’d just like to add I very much planned to do the same. I don’t know what we can do as heroes in training, maybe we can do a lot as witnesses in your own case, and do very little in the case against your sister’s abuser but… I can certainly promise you, I have every intent of playing every part I can in both cases. Maybe… maybe the proper channels won’t be perfect, I’m not the type to lie about such things, but I assure you… I, and now it seems Angel too, will be doing our best to make sure some form of justice is served in this matter.”
She’d look briefly to Feng, offering her the chance to join in without words, but hoping she didn’t seem to be pressuring the girl with the same look. She’d love to see Feng take an interest, but she understood in turn that everyone had their own priorities, and as far as Feng was concerned, their job may be done here…

Feng held her breath when she was about to hear Angels reply ...her current track record wasn't the best today was she already got a few reactions from everyone around her. Tension was at an all time high to say the least and it was a saving grace that Yumi was next to her or else she would have snapped several times over. Controlling her breathing to prevent another freak out...
However.. The crisis was averted when it was spoken. There were still a few things wrong but it got her idea across at least. She made sure to state that she wasn't like them in any sense and seemed empathetic to the twins situation. The statement of “taking out her anger” on any criminals was mixed reaction...some would relate to that sentiment, others would beg to differ. Some of the anger and annoyance from before did linger but it was significantly more controlled and has calmed down. The core of it was rather to the point, to fight for what is right and for the sake of others. Personal feelings aside...it wasn't that bad of a reply overall.
She would then look over to Yumi who responded in turn after Angels reply. As each word was uttered, many of it resonated with her current feelings on the matter. Learning the entire story, knowing the reason of why the Twins hold close to their rage, to understand why they did the things they did, and how much of it could have been her if her situation was like theirs. Remembering why she wanted to be a hero and how much of it she wanted to believe is what she truly wanted. But Yumi would give a brief glance to her, which caught her.
But she hasn't said a word the entire time while this was going on. Her outburst and everything is all she did, she depended on Yumi to do the talking. While a part of her was glad she didn't speak much, another part of her despised that she didn't say much. She can't just leave without telling them how she feels. The burning feeling in her chest wants to see that these twins get the answers they need so they can come back from this. Only if she wasn't bad with words, she would blurt it all out but she can't...But she can try after mulling it over within herself. She would give an affirming look to Yumi and then look to the twins with a resolved look.
“As..what my friend here said...we can only do so much as heroes in training...even now I don't even know where to start. The others spoke their minds about the matter...but my honest opinion of both of you is that… I hope both of you can find closure after all this… I will tr- no that’s not right… I will do my part in seeing all of this to the end...no matter what happens…that is my sole promise to both of you...”. Feng would utter before closing her eyes and hoping that it reaches them.
