What would you bring to the committee?: A big heart with a unique empathetic understanding of the more complex emotions of the human psyche, based on my own personal experiences prior to enrolling in U.A. as a student myself. Post by Sumiko Ryuugamine on Nov 15, 2019 23:27:31 GMT -4
Name: Sumiko Ryuugamine Class: 1-A Why do you want to join the Committee?: I firmly believe that if we are to be officially licensed heroes, then we should strive to become moral beacons. Pillars of society whom the public can rely on when situations call for it. With petty squabbles and fights constantly tearing students apart, I believe that I would be a good third party to help neutralize a situation. I have been working hard to improve myself, and I would enjoy the opportunity to steer others in the proper direction to become the best version of themselves they can possibly be. What have you done to help fellow students?: While I admit, my time at U.A. has mostly spent improving my own self as I feel I have lots of room I need to grow academically and physically, I've always attempted to tone down the situation in the official U.A. student chat whenever I can. I have also always attempted to be open and forthcoming with information, especially for those who struggle with their academics more so than I have. What would you bring to the committee?: I would bring a level head to the committee, who understands when enough is enough. I understand what it means to have power held over you, how intimidating it can be for certain individuals. I would like to be a friendly, open individual who fellow students can talk about their problems with free of judgemental opinions, doing the best I can following U.A. guidelines and regulations. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: Once, I have unintentionally broken curfew while attempting to make it back to my dorm from in town. I ran out of spare change, and was unable to afford a subway or a taxi back to U.A.'s school grounds, and had to walk from a sizable distance away. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to always be prepared whenever I leave, carrying enough cash physically on me to be able to afford trips without causing problems.

Post by Graham Ashwood on Nov 16, 2019 0:56:24 GMT -4
Name: Graham Ashwood Class: 1-A Why do you want to join the Committee?: I would consider presenting oneself as a role model to be the most important task this Committee faces, to be able to inspire our struggling peers to greatness. Along with this, we would assist directly, through upholding the rules or simply helping a classmate with their homework. This committee is here to help, and if that's not the definition of Heroic spirit, then I could not tell you what is. What have you done to help fellow students?: I can't quite say I've done much to help others than myself to this point, but there is a reasonable amount of mileage left in my education at this school to do good, and being part of a group such as this one would certainly allow me to accomplish more than I ever could on my own. What would you bring to the committee?: What I have to offer is a hard-working spirit, an optimist and a team player, bundled neatly into one. I have come to appreciate helping others, and would put this all to use to such an end. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: I have yet to break a rule, and do not intend to change this.

Name: Kazu Fureu Class: 1-B Why do you want to join the Committee?: As a chronicler of the world I...yeah im gonna not do that for this. Personally I want to aid others. I want to help people out. And recently more and more people have been acting a bit far too odd than usual. I want to keep the peace while also aiding my friends and fellow classmates. I don't want any of them to head down a dark route. What have you done to help fellow students?: Usually keep them company, aided in sparring, class president work, 'chronicling.' What would you bring to the committee?: I do paperwork. I can write down a lot of stuff. Can break up some fights brewing, talk people down. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: One time I was late up night on curfew by accident. As previously discussed with the teachers this was mainly due to events out of my control (Thanks, Haruuhi). Nevertheless, I made sure after that to be more strict on my schedule. If I realize i have broken a rule, I often report on myself in case. it's been a couple of times where I was told i was 'overreacting,' though.

Name: Yumi Tasukai Class: 2-C Why do you want to join the Committee?: I like to keep myself a busy member of the student body and help my other classmates What have you done to help fellow students?: I'm already my class president, and I've made a strong effort to introduce several new students to the school, specifically when we were taking on early first years at the sports festival. What would you bring to the committee?: While hopefully not necessary I do have a very strong and speedy quirk that could help react to situations across campus. Also i like to think im rather approachable and wouldn't take such a stern approach that someone might lock up in my presence. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: I've had some minor uniform violations, but with words from my homeroom teacher miss Junko I've made efforts to improve.

Post by Chimera on Nov 21, 2019 20:33:44 GMT -4
Name: Chimera Class: 2-B Why do you want to join the Committee?: I think it would be good experience, and I'm already something of a stickler for the rules. It would be nice to be able to re-enforce them and help keep the peace. What have you done to help fellow students?: I do a lot of heavy-lifting (literally) for other students when requested, as well as help to organize holiday events and get-together's during stressful times. I also keep my roommate from taking over the school with a robot army on a daily basis. What would you bring to the committee?: I am a bottomless well of patience, and something of a therapy animal--if people need help, I can be there in a heartbeat and I'm a very good listener. Comes with the giant ears. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: Not once!

Post by Mozuku Momoko on Nov 21, 2019 21:52:30 GMT -4
Name: Mozuku Momoko Class: 2-S Why do you want to join the Committee?: For the same reason why I want to become a hero: because I can. ...plus it will make for a good experience! What have you done to help fellow students?: Class-centered duties as the vice-president of 2-S. Tutoring when it comes to tailoring. Helping students with technology-related issues, school-related and otherwise. Currently aiming to help re-invigorate one of the school clubs, but that one's still in the grassroots. What would you bring to the committee?: Firstly, I tend to fly under the people's radar unless I assert myself, which can be useful for keeping tabs on other students. Secondly, I tend to come across as non-threatening. I'm... not the best negotiator, but I feel like I can at least help to move a situation towards a more neutral state. Thirdly, while I seem non-threatening, I can assure you that I'm not. I'm much stronger than I look and do have some field experience from during my internship with King Taurus. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: None that I'm aware of. I did receive a note about keeping my RC car usage within the school rules, and so far this has been the case.

Post by Karen Hoshizora on Nov 21, 2019 22:41:13 GMT -4
Name: Karen Hoshizora Class: 1-A Why do you want to join the Committee?: I had been looking for a role that allows me to be of service to the greater student body as a whole. As there doesn't seem to be a Student Council system in UA as of yet, the Disciplinary Committee would be my first big step into realizing such a position. Of course the Committee itself is very important. I believe that upholding rules is fundamental in keeping peace and order in the school and a worthy cause. It's a mindset that I wish to spread to more of my peers. What have you done to help fellow students?: As class president I have been faithfully performing my duties and responsibilities to the class and putting in extra effort supporting them when I can. I have also devoted time into maintaining good relations with other classes and encouraged ideas to improve solidarity among the students in my year. While I haven't made any significant progress yet, I have also begun to build relations with my upperclassmen, offering what little help I am able to when the opportunity arises to my more experienced seniors. What would you bring to the committee?: I have experience from my middle school days as student council president particularly when it comes to handling sensitive matters. I'm sure there's no shortage of capable people who would maintain peace and order on the field. So instead I would like to focus on logistical skills and helping run the committee efficiently and effectively in the background and managing information as required. Of course should the need arise that I must personally step in to handle student matters face to face, I believe I'm well prepared and equipped in that regard as well. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: I have not broken any rules since joining the school.

Name: Lukas von Eisenberg Class: 2A Why do you want to join the Committee?: I would like to be able to be more proactive within the school and have an opportunity to develop additional skills through the Committee. I've been in the background for a while and want something that will help keep me from withdrawing into myself again. What have you done to help fellow students?: Some tutoring and basic moral support What would you bring to the committee?: I am hard working and don't allow myself to be distracted when completing a task. I can be understanding and sympathetic, but I don't cave in to emotional appeals. I would be happy to serve in mediations as well as disciplinary actions if necessary, I can be hard or soft as needed, and won't balk in either situation. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: I have not broken school rules

Post by Airi Kurusu on Nov 22, 2019 20:47:42 GMT -4
Name: Airi Kurusu Class: 2-C Why do you want to join the Committee?: I want to join the committee because I feel the school is in need of a rigorous student body that puts their foot down and enforces rules when need be. My father was a cop and my sister is currently a public prosecutor, so I have experience with the law and understand how enforcing rules makes society tick and function as it needs to be. Currently, I believe students take the rules of the school too liberally and I want to change that mindset. The rules need to be followed properly. What have you done to help fellow students?:In the past, I have tutored multiple students with their studies. I am able to evaluate students’ learning capabilities and needs, helping them through assignments, and suggesting new learning techniques are just a few of the areas in which I excel. By tutoring in the past and helping these students across a range of subjects and capacities, I have honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. Additionally, I possess strong administrative talents with a proven ability to document, track, and update student progress, holding information in my head. These are just some of the qualities I possess from doing so. - Adept at creating study materials in a variety of academic subjects to help students improve their test scores and GPAs.
- Strong interpersonal skills in working with students to help them achieve and succeed.
What would you bring to the committee?:I would bring determination and hard-working ethics to the committee. I have held a position of power before and I am not one to use that power to push others around. I am a stickler for justice and rules that are broken deserve punishment equal to the rule being broken. I will enforce the U.A. guidelines and regulations and help others mold themselves into young adults and later, aspiring heroes who serve the code of conduct and act as model people who others may look up to. Have you broken school rules in the past? If so, what efforts have you made since then to improve?: I've gotten detention once in the past for arguing with a teacher. Due to my stubbornness and my unwillingness to admit that I was at fault, I spoke back when I shouldn't have received that detention. However, I've grown from this experience and learned to respect all of my elders and teachers and I also believe that my stubbornness can also be seen as a positive quality. I am not willing to bend or break rules simply to help others or myself, in fact, quite the opposite.

Sign Ups have closed, and after consideration, it was decided 5 new members of the Disciplinary Committee will be joining us!The evaluations were performed by IC voting by the overseeing teachers and committee head. New Disciplinary Committee members are: Taka Yasashi Sumiko Ryuugamine Kazu Fureu Chimera
If you didn't get in, don't worry too much. We were selective this time, and will be opening up for more members in the next IC school year to account for the increase in students. Significant growth by then will increase chances of making it in a second time.
Thank you to all who applied!
