Hero alias: Caldera Player Name: Dauwz Faceclaim/Series: Ciri/The Witcher Series Age: 18 Gender: Female Affiliation: Student Height: 186cm Weight: 78 Hair/Style: Ashen white, usually tied up in a bun Skin/Scars: A large scar over her left eye, going down her cheek Eyes: Sharp and green, turn crimson when her quirk is in use Notables: Jasmine, aside the one on the left side of her face, has a plethora of small scars on her whole body, particularly on her back.
APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance: Jasmine is a rather tall, lean and athletic woman with her muscles being quite pronounced all throughout her body, showcasing her physical preparation. Her hair, which was once a golden blonde, is now ashen white and long, usually kept tied up in a messy bun or pony tail with quite a few strands sticking out over her eyes and face. Her eyes, once a deep lilac, are now a glistening emerald green, yet despite this drastic change her irises still adapt the crimson radiance that they were once known for whenever her quirk is in use. She has a large gash of a scar over her left eye, going down her cheek and curving towards her cheekbone. Not only that, however, as she is also scarred throughout her whole body as a result of her violent past, especially around her back. She used to have a wide array of tattoos covering most of her torso and back, yet she had decidedly underwent various procedures of tattoo removal, realizing that she had no reason to hide the scars that riddled her.
Personality: At her core Jasmine is a laid back and outgoing persona. Generally, live and let live is the mentality Jasmine leads her life by and that can sometimes come across as her seeming apathetic towards a situation, which isn't entirely wrong since she's fairly emotionally desensitized. Regardless, Jasmine can and will show signs of empathy towards people who have earned her genuine care.
Jasmine has undergone a plethora of changes to her personality within the year that she spent in the united states and what transpired there. First and foremost she has found a liking for peace and quiet - something that she wouldn't be caught dead enjoying before. She has also developed an affinity for books - something she picked up from a certain little raven that she unfortunately is not in contact with anymore. That is still a rather sore spot for her. She has become something of a lone wolf rather than a mighty lioness - while her strength is still doubtless, she flaunts it less and prefers to be by herself rather than in the company of others. That is not to say she is bad at teamwork - quite the contrary. Jasmine excels at working with others, she would just rather do things by herself if the situation allows.
As compared to her previous self, Jasmine has mellowed out quite a bit. While she still retains her ambition, her drive for improvement and her competitive spirit, she no longer approaches it recklessly with a high and mighty attitude like the entire world is her plaything and owes her something but rather bides her time. She is well aware that good things come to those who wait and persevere, and she is very much a fighter who will take what is hers. Yet, unlike her past persona, this Jasmine has the patience and, shall we say, creativity, to see it through. Together with this comes an innate kindness that is now more obvious to the eye. While she often seems unapproachable due to her preference of being a loner, she is quite nice, friendly, and kind to those who choose to interact with her and, should one befriend and get to know her on a personal level, they would not find a person more loyal and caring.
A bonfire to guide the lost and weakened. A fire meant to guide ships who've gone astray. Her parents thought the world of their wild little firecracker, yet she could barely remember what color were her mother's eyes or her father's scars and where he got them.
Two people, so much alike yet so different at the same time. Their meeting was electrifying, giving birth to a child they promised themselves would never witness the horrors they had growing up. The powers that be, however, never had any inclination to allow the would-be heroes' dream to come to fruition.
Red. It was her most vivid and most tragic memory, a testament to the start of what some may call her languish. After Jasmine had witnessed the death of her parents at the mere age of six, cast aside by a society who still hadn't accepted those with abilities they couldn't possibly hope to understand, the child was left alone against a world that had been hell bent on crushing her beneath its boot.
As small and fragile as she was, Jasmine was easy prey for the many predators that roamed New York City. She knew she had no obligation to stay alive, yet on a broken back she never once begged for mercy but constantly fought to survive and persevere as though trying to spit in everyone's face. She had been fighting against the tide for as long as she could remember, completely crushing any expectations anyone had of her. She made friends along the way, people who she could depend on and people who depended on her.
Yet even those friends were nothing but pebbles in the way of a freight train. One by one they disappeared until Jasmine, alone, was left. Tragedy after tragedy followed the little firecracker, dimming her light until she found a home in the most desperate and surprising of places - a tattoo parlor.
The artists there, many of whom were Quirkers or simple rejects of society, nurtured the girl. They taught her how to fend for herself. How to fight. They provided her with food and a roof over her head. But, arguably most importantly, they taught her how to draw - something which the little girl had taken very seriously to; whether to cope with the world or make it a better place one drawing at a time - Jasmine didn't really know herself. But what the firecracker knew was that it was her key to a new life. A life that came much quicker than she had expected.
As it was now considered commonplace even by Jasmine herself, the place she had called home had unexpectedly vanished off of the face of her world. Left alone once again, Jasmine, on the brink of suicide, outright refused to die one last time. Her light shone brightest in the face of adversity, turning the firecracker into a dazzling ember among the dying fires of her life.
This was her breaking point as much as it was her turning point. She had had enough of the people she was surrounded by. Her chest swelled with anger and resentment towards the system she was forced to grow up in. She knew she had no chance to win but she refused to run. No more. Enough was enough.
Every victory, no matter how insignificant, was celebrated with explosive colors on the darkest walls of New York's most depraved alleys. Fighting, the girl made a name for herself, all of which accumulated into a notoriety of sorts. A notoriety that culminated into her way out - a so-called hero who came to her with a message from Yuuei.
Many things had happened during Jasmine's stay at Yuuei. Love, rivalries, danger, murder... so many different things that contributed to Jasmine's growth all throughout the one year she stayed in Japan, yet... everything came crashing down.
When spring break came around the corner just before their second year at Yuuei started, Jasmine and Rinkusu Kurama went to the United States to visit some of Jasmine's friends. Due to certain events Jasmine was forced to remain in the United States, unable to return to Japan and continue her studies at the school for heroes-in-training. Many things transpired during the year that Jasmine was stuck in the states, some of which include Jasmine losing her significant other, all of her friends, and staying in a coma for well under several months only to wake up to realize she had lost everything she ever had and had undergone a massive change in her appearance due to a certain individual's quirk.
However now that was behind her. Jasmine, now eighteen and soon to be nineteen, with no other place to turn to has returned to Japan, looking to rejoin the friends she left at the prestigious school and resume her training as a soon-to-be Hero.

Type: Emitter Rank: C Description: Ever since she was little, Jasmine's body has been capable of producing and manipulating a highly explosive chemical compound that she can secrete through any part of her body given a mental command. This compound, often compared to C2N14 (1-, diazidocarbamoyl-5-azidotetrazole) yet in Jasmine's case referred to as C2N14x due to it being produced naturally and not artificially, is extremely reactive, said to go off if you "so much as look at it funny". When released from her body, C2N14x generates an enormous amount of energy by reacting to virtually anything it comes across, thus producing explosions of varying scopes and temperatures. This essentially gives Jasmine the ability of Fragokinesis, the constant training of which also gives her strength far beyond the norm. The production of C2N14x also has a peculiar effect on Jasmine's irises, making her eyes glisten a dim crimson in color, brighter the more explosive her next move.
Another peculiar effect of this quirk is that Jasmine's natural body heat is always above that of a normal human, meaning that she can withstand colder temperatures relatively easily. This isn't potent enough to assist her in combat, however.
Strength/Damage - Jasmine, when she is at her strongest, is able to tear through hard metals with her quirk and lift objects quite a few times her own weight with relative ease.
Range - Jasmine is able to fire off blasts that can cover the entire distance of a full basketball court (28 meters) and by angling her hands properly she can even retain pin-point accuracy as opposed to indiscriminate blasts.
Speed - By utilizing her explosions Jasmine is able to move at the speed of a wild leopard at maximum (90km/h)
Exhaustion and Weakness: Because Eruption is essentially Fragokinesis, it naturally has implied recoil. Said recoil varies in terms of how strong Jasmine's explosions are but, generally, trauma is a possible outcome if the quirk is overused or if Jasmine tries to go beyond her established limit without having the physical preparation to withstand it. In addition, this quirk, as any other physical activity, will cause fatigue and exhaustion the more it is used.
That being said, C2N14x isn't produced out of thin air. Natural supplements are required to be able to produce the chemical compound, as such Jasmine needs to stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet of carbs, proteins, and fats while also eating slightly more than your average person. Neglecting these factors would significantly reduce Jasmine's fighting capabilities.
Unbreakable Rank: D -Durability Effect: Due to her rigorous training regimes, her hectic lifestyle and her violent roots, Jasmine has a naturally developed sturdy frame that can withstand more pain and damage than most others. Her frame has been further developed through her body developing naturally and through the various exercise regimes she has underwent, strengthening her muscles, bones, and overall frame to the point that her body has become as sturdy as a soft metal such as bronze.
Reckless & Relentless Rank: D - Stamina Effect: Jasmine's training has paid off in more ways than just her strength and durability. She has now developed a stamina pool that allows her to do more for prolonged periods of time without feeling as tired as she normally would be, making her capable of pushing herself in combat or to otherwise be effective for even more prolonged periods of time. Overdrive Rank: D - Mobility Effect: Overdrive is an ability that Jasmine had learned by training her body in order to become more flexible and as a result gaining a new level of mobility. Not only does this give her a pseudo-form of flight through the use of her quirk, she can also release explosions from any part of her body to gain an extra edge in terms of her move set that makes her an agile and versatile fighter both on the ground and while in the air, giving her a level of unpredictability that makes her even more difficult to deal with.
Blitzkrieg Rank: C -Fighting Style Effect: Jasmine, over the years, has increased her knowledge of martial arts quite a bit, drawing inspiration from Karate, MMA, Taekwondo, Jujutsu, etc. to develop her own brand of fighting style. This fighting style, being modeled after the means of warfare known as Blitzkrieg, is highly offensive and focuses on high speed, maneuverability, and swift, devastating attacks to utterly stampede through anything that stands in Jasmine's way. Effective both in mid-air and on the ground, on the move and while remaining stationary, with the use of her quirk and without it, Blitzkrieg takes Jasmine's versatility and amps it up by several notches, making her all the more deadly.
Nuts & Bolts Rank: F Effect: Ever since she was little Jasmine has had a knack for tinkering. As a child she's had plenty of time to work on things with very little resources, basically learning how to turn something out of nothing. This was further ingrained into her by Nathan North, a Pro Hero who was also her legal guardian after her parents passed. Together with survival skills he taught her how to dissassemble and reassemble simple firearms and various other gadgets. After coming to Yuuei Jasmine was allowed access to the support studies' garage and tech where she was able to build her prized possession - Bumblebee, a high speed racing motorcycle which she herself uses and maintains.
