It was getting late and Haruuhi was putting on a dark outfit with a similar dark eye piece she had created to only cover half her face. While she still looked like she was a tech oriented hero, she wasn’t wearing her traditional Radio Tower hero gear. That was because the adventure she was about to embark on, wasn’t one she wanted the jschool to recognize. G was going to be taking haruuhi out on patrol tonight, and seeing as he was a vigilante, wasn’t exactly something school oriented.
“You ready boy? This is going to rock”
Haruuhi exclaimed excitedly as she jumped up onto the back of robodog like a mount. The two would then hurry out of her room and disappear outside via the garage. From there she would send a quick text to G to let him know she was ready to rock.
“Ready!”
She sent him as she waited patiently in the safety of the garage. Her nerves felt like they were on fire as the adrenaline pumped through her veins. She’d never been out on an actual night patrol, and so this was super exciting! Depending how this went, she might actually be able to tell G a few things that were on her mind too. Here’s hoping, she really did miss spending quality time with her dad. It was something she really hadn’t gotten to do much since Kai came into the picture. Not that she blamed the little guy of course.

G saw Haruuhi's text and snorted a bit. She really thought she was gonna fight? Gurl, he was still a parent and he wasnt gonna make her into a Vigilante. He was just gonna teach her a lesson about heroing. Ah well.
He went to meet her at their meeting place. Once he arrived, he was surprised to see her geared up with Robo dog
"Oh. Huh. Nice costume. Very well, lets go patrol" G said and then started walking away. Once Haruu was beside him, he'd speak "I planned for this to be a faux internship lesson. Planned it from last year since you were all first year students and teach you all how to spot common criminals like shoplifters. But whenever I'd post the poll. You kids would choose something lame like Quirk Training or sparring. I planned to do the faux internships with 2 students and during the day. But somehow you talked me into doing this in the night shift when things are real" G complained and then sighed "Hana's gonna kill me" he muttered to himself
He then looked at Haruu "I know I brought you along, but that doesnt mean you'll fight. That'll be Vigilantism and thats no good. You'll watch me in action and thats all. Todays improv lesson is showing you real life situations. A preview of what your hero life will look like" G said
As he patrolled he also explained something "I usually take night shifts for several reasons. Reason number 1. Most robberies and heists and muggings are done during the night, less crowd to spot you. Reason number 2. Heroes patrol at day, Vigilantes at night. Reason 3, I used to be an insomniac, so I usually operated during the night. Reason 4, I am the night. And I have more reasons but I dont wanna bore you. Now, we walk and patrol. Our eyes have to be sharp and so does our hearing. We always have to be sharp in case of trouble, granted nights can be cam and uneventful or they could be dangerous like..... yeah" G said as he remembered that 5v1 fight he had. And when he remembered that one time a Siren stabbed him.
He was startin to regret doing this late
"I'm the worst" he thought to himself and hoped their night would be uneventful

“This is just my backup stuff”
Haruuhi said with a light blush, though smiled when he praised the costume. Fighting or not, she was sure to keep both robodog and her visor with her. She wouldn’t be caught dead without either now a days, wanting to make sure she was always one step ahead of any would be attacker.
“Sorry, whenever you asked before I wanted to focus on becoming the strongest hero so it made sense then so quirk training and sparring made the most sense. I know I’ll never be a really strong hero, so this time I was hoping to see things from a different angle you know?”
She explained as the two would walk out of the garage, Haruuhi still sitting atop Robodog and they headed away from the house and towards the bulk of the city. She chuckled whenever G grumbled about taking her out at night, as he had been so against it at first. With a bit of logic and puppy eyes, it didn’t take much for Haruuhi to get her way.
“Like I said it’s safer for both of us to come out at night. There’s no heroes to recognize you or question you, and no teachers to scold me if something happens~”
She repeated, a bit of a smug look appearing on her face as this reminder was just proof of her verbal victory over the older man. She couldn’t help but chuckle as they walked, looking over when he clarified that she wouldn’t be fighting anyone. She puffed up her cheeks and pouted at G, leaning forward on Robodogs head as she looked at him.
“Fine fine…”
Haruuhi agreed, it already having been part of their agreement. She wasn’t happy about it, but as she said she wasn’t a fighter herself. She could at least support G though if they did get into a fight… and if robodog fought in her place, then technically it wasn't her, right? She would internally chuckle at her own devious thoughts, though remained quiet as G started a bit of a lesson, explaining why he preferred to be patrolling at night. It definitely made sense honestly, and she would just nod her understanding as the two started their patrol.
“I never really got the chance to show you how strong I got… so please don’t worry about me so much okay? I’ll follow and I wont be a burden. I’ll be your good little student okay?”
She tried to reassure him as robodog ran up to him, nudging his hand for attention as Haruuhi lifted up her sleeve to show him the skull tattoo they had gotten together on her arm.
“I couldn’t put this to shame, could I?”

"True there are no teachers to scold you. But there are parents and Hana will be a very angry mama if anything happens to you. She'll have your head and mine." G told her, but he was glad she was happy. Why couldnt she just ask for an afternoon with him gaming and maybe some normal father and daughter bonding things. Snugs and hugs? She needs love, not possible injuries. But those damn puppy eyes always get him.
G also told her she wont fight at all, to which she sorta agreed. She herself even admitted she wasnt a fighter. Although Haruu did say that she never had a chance to show him how strong she got, and thus pleaded him to not worry about her that much. He sighed "Okay okay. Just be careful!" he said like any concerned parent who himself makes stupid choices
He then noticed robodog who nudged his hand for attention. He did pat the robodoggo and then noticed Haruuhi showed him her tattoo
"Aww, good girl" he also gave her a pat on the head
Luckily so far and so good, this was a peaceful night for the two of them. G hoped it would remain that way

"Yeaaaaaah I know. We'll be fine though! Unless you got rusty staying at home with Kai all day~"
Haruuhi teased him, a devious smirk playing her lips as she poked G's gut playfully as if implying he was exchanging his vigilante bod for a dad bod. She chuckled a bit as G then pat both robodog and her on the head, causing robodog to bark and Haruuhi to grin from one ear to the other.
As the two walked it did seem like this was going to be a pretty boring night! There was barely anyone out on the street except the odd couple or drunk here and there, but still no one to cause trouble. Haruuhi's grin would turn into a light pout as she leaped off of Robodog's back so she could walk alongside him now instead.
"Maybe they're all scared off..."
She grumbled under her breath. Nothing, nothing... nothing here either. BOOOOOO! Couldn't there be like... one dumb thug trying to rob a store or something? She knew it was a bad thing to wish for there to be crime... but how would she learn to fight it, without any happening?
Haruuhi had taken to mumbling and grumbling about the lack of action the entire time. It wasn't until they started walking past the national bank, that things started to look like they might pick up. There was one man sitting at the front of the bank, dressed in all blacks but doing absolutely nothing. He had his arms up behind his head, leaning back against a pillar as he just watched the world go by.
Meanwhile, behind the bank where Haruuhi and G wouldn't immediately be able to see, there were two quirkers working diligently to break through part of the bank wall to get to the goods inside...

"I'm not rusty!" G says in protest and swats Haruuhi's poking finger away. He crossed his arms and just thought if he should do that. Like retire and become a father. Well, after those dumbasses James and Aiden do that stupid spy mission, G will start another poll, asking Storm Knights and family if he should retire or nah.
As they walked, G was pretty satisfied it was a boring night. He liked that it was peaceful. No trouble at all. Haruu jumped off of the robo dog and walked alongside them, guessing if they were scared off, the bad guys
"Hah! I hope so. Then its mission success. I want to strike fear in criminals so they never ever think about commiting crimes" he said as he looked around himself proudly, no robbers, no muggers, no drunkards, no nothing.
G heard Haruu mumble and grumble, he thought about stopping but not just yet. Something struck him weird at what he saw in the corner of his eye. Apparently a guy just standing without a care in the world. That was too weird when G thought about it. So he stopped. He grabbed Haruu by the shoulders and looked at her in the eyes
"Listen, I want to tell you something very very important." he said and then crouched down while holding her shoulders, so they can properly look at eachother eye to eye. "I understand you want to fight or watch me fight. But that is too dangerous. If you fight, you will get hurt. If you watch me fight, you might be caught as a hostage. Personally between those two options, .....Nevermind. I dont want you in trouble. A fight will get you probably expelled or suspended from UA. And I dont want you to become a Vigilante. Secondly, if you get hurt or if you fight. Imma tell you now, this might make Hana mad. Real mad. Not just at you, but at me. I dont want to lose her nor you. Please Haruuhi, be smart with this. I know you're eager to learn how to fight, but... dont make me worry. I know you think im like a great dad or whatever. But the fact that Im taking you out here at night, doesnt make me a good dad. It makes me a terrible dad. Ask any other parent or teacher. Just... think about that and please act reasonable" he then patted her shoulders and got up
"Ok, thats enough of my speech. I just hope some of these words stick to you" he said and then he directly looked at that one guy and raised his eyebrow. He then looked at Haruuhi and thought to himself "I dont care if she is here. This is still a sol-.... an escort mission. But I dont wanna accept her help. I'd rather die then let her become like me..." But she did drink booze that one time.... god, he hates himself right about now. He fucked up badly. Is it too late to go home?

The man standing by the front of the bank immediately noted the two people passing. They weren't dressed in flashy colors like most of the Heroes did, but that robotic dog definitely stuck out to him like a sore thumb. He would have panicked, but there was no quicker way to get caught then that. Instead, when the old man looked over at him he just raised an eyebrow back. He put his hands in his pockets, though didn't move from his perch. In his pocket though, he was sending a signal to his comrades that there was someone here. no trouble, just here.
Meanwhile, when G stopped her and pulled her down to be eye level with him she tilted her head curiously as she listened to what he had to say. He didn't want her to fight or get involved, yada yada same speech as before for the most part, but this one was a bit more heart felt. She listened, only nodding gently when he would pat her shoulder.
"I know. I already promised you I was just going to watch. I wont get involved. Besides, Robodog is here to protect me too if things get out of hand. I'm really not the same helpless girl I was then... I've been training really, really hard, and not just in combat."
She tried to assure him, giving her robotic companion a pat of his own to which the dog would wag it's tail happily. Whenever G started referring to himself as a bad dad though she just smiled.
"Yeah you let me get in trouble, but I love that about you. You let me make my own mistakes... I never got the chance to do anything growing up, so in a lot of ways I'm still figuring out how the world works. What's acceptable and what isn't. A lot of people don't have the experiences I do, and I love that you're here helping me figure it all out."
She reassured him as they both stood up again as if their little huddle was something completely normal. G would then look towards the bank, staring at the man standing there but saying nothing.
Even Haruuhi couldn't pick up the distress signal he had sent out, it was too weak that it was being masked by his cellphone.

Haruuhi was very responcible and well.... she chose her words wisely. Hell, she made him feel like he was a good father. Like letting her make her mstakes and figure out a place in the world. She was out here figuring shit out and he was like her safety net if she messed up. He kinda likes that idea. "God, you're adorable"
After the head pat, G then whispered to Haruuhi. G positioned himself that his back was turned to the guy. While Haruuhi was facing G and seeing the guy in the back.
"Ok, now on the less emotional and more serious stuff. See that guy behind me? Its weeiiird he's just standing there? Like who does that? Its night, and we're out here patrolling. No good person will stand there and star gaze. He's up to something. Now, lemme see your Support Study skills. I want you to be the brains. Strategize and guide me on what to do. Consider that your task. We have a suspect who we think is doing shifty stuff, but we got no proof. Obviously I cant go guns blazing. So what do I do?" he asked this question, pretty content that he came up with a relatively peaceful and safe job for Haruuhi
I do wanna do this. Just DONT let Haruuhi get in trouble. G doesnt wanna piss off his wife for doing this

She snickered, grinning from one ear to the next, even when G moved and positioned himself between her and the guy waiting by the bank. The guy seemed totally disinterested in them, so she wondered if G's movement had been intentional or not. her grin started to slip as he spoke, turning into a more quizzitive glance as he pointed out how weird that guy seemed to be just standing there.
"Up to something? You think? he's just standing there..."
She said lowly as she brought her hand up to her chin in thought, raising her head a little bit to look at the starry sky above them as she thought about the situation. Use her support study skills hunh? This was a perfect opportunity to act like a real detective! Get a confession out of someone who was seemingly up to nothing. Her eyes seemed to twinkle and come to life for a moment as she reached into one of the pouches on her belt and withdrew a small round metallic device. She handed it over to G, placing it gently in his hands.
"Okay here, a communicator I made. The speaker isn't that great on it but you'll be able to hear me loud and clear. Okay, let me see... he's spamming something on his cellphone... I didn't notice it before but he keeps sending out really fast text messages."
Haruuhi stated, not yet realizing what those text messages went. So, with that information what did they do? Diverting the texts would be a good start. As the man spammed the messages, Haruuhi used her quirk to have the messages sent to her phone instead. She pulled it out and turned it on between them so they could both see what was being sent.

Haruuhi raised an eyebrow at the nonsense that appeared on the screen, and continued to appear time and time again... She looked up to G now uncertain as to just what the hell was going on.
"You think he's up to something, so maybe he's alerting someone were here? I think if you approach him, he might freak out and break into a run honestly... maybe you should take robodog with you to block him from running off? If he tried to run, that proves that he's up to something so you should be able to catch him and question him."
She tried to reason, her heart suddenly in her throat as she spoke aloud. This was G's territory, and she probably sounded like a complete idiot..."

He's just standing there... G whispers to her "Thats what he wants us to think" as she brought her hand to her chin. Soon he saw a certain twinkle in her eye as she reached out for something. He watched her fiddle around her pouches and whatnot only to see she took out a devide, a mechanic doohickey. She handed it over to him and he took it.
Haruu quietly explained that this is a communicator she made. And that he can hear her loud and clear. Then she probably used her quirk to tell he's spamming on his phone. Fast text messages. "Hmmm" now G was the one who brought his hand to his chin.
Haruuhi then did something and then took out her phone, soon they saw what he was sending

"This is gibberish" G whispered to her
Haruu looked at him, she was uncertain what was going on. But one thing they knew, this was fishy and that one was up to something. Haruu spoke up and tried to reason and strategize on what they could do. G nodded and motioned robodog to follow him. He approached the man, intending to play dumb and ask directions, just to break the ice and try to probe the guy for information. That is, if he didnt run

"Yeah it is... it's not encoded or anything..."
She murmured as she glanced over to the man still texting away gibberish. When the man noticed her looking over at him, the messages started to change.

"Or a signal... Think they're breaking into the bank?"
She murmured as the man continued to swipe and sending into his phone before sticking it in his pocket the moment G turned around to start approaching him. He did take a step back, his feel kicking the concrete step of the bank and causing him to stop and stand up straight. his heart was racing like crazy! He was told this was going to be an easy lookout job! Someone was coming, oh god oh god oh god.
"um, he~e-y?"
He greeted G and Robodog when the two approached him. His voice cracked, sounding like a young teenager going through puberty and suddenly hitting adulthood. Up close, G would be able to see that while the man was taller than him, he wasn't older than him at all... just barely out of highschool looking. He looked uncertain, trying to keep a straight face but clearly unnerved.
Robodog let out an annoyed, low growl as they approached, but he was sure to stay right at G's heels, never passing him or making any aggressive moves beyond the growl. Haruuhi had promised not to get involved after-all.
From her position afar, Haruuhi just brought her phone up to make it look like she wasn't paying attention to what was going on at all and just acting like your stereotypical teenager. however, she used her phone to enhance the range on her quirk a bit, and managed to hack into the banks security cameras. As expected however, that triggered a silent alarm.
"Yeah I figured they'd install that after last time... The silent alarm just went off, so the cops will probably be here in like... 2 minutes tops... and the cameras on the north east side of the building are blocked. They're working but it's just dark..."
Haruuhi spoke lowly into her phone, her voice transmitting itself to G's earbud. She wanted to do something about the two getting into the bank, but a promise was a promise. She just took a deep breath, and kept watch on the cameras and on G through robodogs eyes.

Haruuhi agreed that the guy was speaking and typing gibberish. But soon the texts changed. Haruuhi murmured if they were trying to break the bank. G nodded and then decided to take the approach. The guy took a step back, but bumped into the bank and so he had to stand up straight. He shyly spoke Hey. His voice cracked, G nearly laughed at that voice shift. Judging by the looks this was a youngling, kinda reminded him of Akio. Tall as a tower, but young as a boyo.
G spoke "Hey there! Me and my kiddo got a bit lost. I was hoping you'd help us with some directions." he played dumb and he played all super chill. He wanted to see how this kid reacted. He also started some small talk with the guy and between the harmless banter asked him "so how come you're out here all alone?"
As he spoke with the guy, he heard Haruuhi transmitting info to him. G acknowledged that but needed to think how to get there. He couldnt go in the bank. The security cams would see him as a villain. He had to do something. Well at least he had this one guy. He could squeeze info outta him easily

"Directions? Well the uh...subway is a... a couple blocks back that way. Near the MoonBucks."
The boy stated, knowing that information to be true as he normally took the Subway every day to get to and from university. Tedious thing, the subway, but nowhere near as tedious as this... how could he have let himself get roped into this... now he was going to get caught, and all because he just needed a bit of extra money for QED and school... When the man then asked him what he was doing out here all alone though the boy froze up, visibly tense. It really wasn't hard to see how flustered he was.
"Nothing that uh... concerns you. Sir. I come by here all the time. Just taking a break."
He lied to which Robodog would suddenly snarl, arching his back as he took a single step forward so that he was side by side with G, not darting past him in case that counted as Haruuhi getting involved. The dogs eyes would glow red as his attack mode activated, his fangs bared at the teenager who dropped the phone he was fumbling with in his pocket.
As soon as the phone hit the ground, a large blast could be heard from the direction of the bank, large wafts of smoke rising up from behind the building as the boy's two compatriots had finally made their way into the safe.
Meanwhile, the boy looked horrified at the man and especially the demonic looking metal beast staring him down. Like hell he was going to run and get chomped by that thing...He was so busted...

You can see a mile away- no. You can see from a frickin airplane that the guy was tense. And he was flustered a lot, he stuttered and barely talked. Robodog growled and snarled at him. So mch so he dropped his phone and suddenly A HOLY FUCK EXPLOSION HAPPENED and there was smoke.
G who was fricking mad just used his Quirk and summoned Goliath to slap the guy unconcious with his huge and heavy claw. He would turn to Robodog and order it "Make sure he doesnt move!!!"
He decided to run to where the two compatriots were. Goliath followed G as well. I
"Dont you move Haruuhi" he told her, hoping her walkie talkie communicator whatchamacallit was working. He had to do this quickly and stop the robbers. By the time cops arrive, its already too late. And of course, he had to make sure Haruu was gonna be ok. Oh god he had a full plate on his hands
Once he arrived where the explosion came from, he pretty much just yelled "OI!!!" to the two. There was no way he was gonna let them go free with the cash, and Goliath who was behind G also was gonna make sure that doesnt happen

The man in front of him started moving his hands, and out of nowhere this giant THING appeared! Before he could even manage to curse or comment on Goliath at all, the large bug's armored hand smacked him upside the head, knocking him out before he ever hit the floor. With that done, robodog immediately took his new orders and advanced on the unconscious boy. He placed two paws on either side of the point body, snarl pointed down towards him for the moment he woke up.
Meanwhile, Haruuhi stayed put by the street, even turning her back to the bank so that she could keep an eye out on who was coming, if anyone was coming at all. Would she get in trouble for just standing here she wondered? She was dressed partially in her hero gear, so it would seem like she was out seeking trouble... and she couldn't really say she was on an internship with G because... well Vigilante...
"I won't get involved, but i'm moving. I'll be on the roof of the dress shop next door, it'll give me a birds eye view since the cameras are covered"
She informed him via their communicator. With that she took to a run towards the wall of the dress shop, and at the last moment used the power of her leg braces to propel herself into the air. She landed first on a fire escape, then another leap and she was on the roof. At least this way she was out of sight from pretty much everyone. She snuck her way to the back of the roof where she could now see the massive hole in the wall, and G charging straight in with Goliath in tow.
"Alright we don't even got a minute to grab as much cash as we can man... lil bro said someone was at the front so who knows. Just grab the big stacks."
One of the men shouted, his body coated in what looked to be some kind of metal. The other man with him had a similar quirk where his body was covered in heated rock with magma pouring out of his head as if it were hair. The guy with the rock quirk un transformed his arms, making sure to not burn the bash as he promptly grabbed one stack after the next and stuffed it into a heat resistant sack. His partner promptly started doing the same, and in just a couple swipes they were already able to steal a couple hundred thousand yen. Not as much as they had hoped to get away with, but they were compromised so there was no point being greedy.
Suddenly, they heard G's echo in the safe calling out to them, causing both men to curse. The rock guy tossed his sack of cash towards the metal guy, then opened up his mouth to spew a liquid hot stream of magma towards G and Goliath.
