She wanted to go outside, it was kind of a shitty thing that she was not wearing the right kind of outfit or that she would probably be judged and she shouldn't be seen. However that was not an issue for her especially because the clothes she was wearing made it a little easy. Her purse was white already and her blouse was as well, her pencil skirt was light gray that would work. Only her hair was up with a orange shawlso that would have to be removed and she put it in her purse rather quickly. With another look around she simply continued to walk and shortly change to look like the walls around her. The lucky thing was that the walls looked quite identical so it was good guess and a good skill if you would spot her now. But no one was interested in where Narcissa was going and maybe she was just paranoia.
When she finally arrived somewhere where she would be okay with going in, she wanted to know what people thought of the government, about the tax and so on, she wanted to be able to find something to hold on to. She went to the alley around the corner of this bar and waited to make sure that no one would see her shape back into her own colour, she quickly stepped out and wrapped the orange shawl around her hair again and wanted to walk to the bar. She wasn't sure what happened after that because she wanted to simply enter but got hung up by a few people. They looked at her but did not really say anything, they more looked at each other, eyeing her as if she wasn't allowed in, seriously are they going to comment on her because of a blouse and pencil skirt. "You mind if I go in?" She simply asked and tried to pass and get in, but they simply followed, oh god which big boss had to be in here that they would be so fixated on who entered. She would see, she still wasn't well aware of the list of people that were in Japan, or Tokyo for that matter. Even if Narcissa wanted to learn and see if people would agree with her and her point of view but how easy was it to share. She was hesitant, afraid people would hate her for something she had not done.

In her youth, Sunaho had despised alcohol.
Upstanding young woman that she was, its ability to harm one's faculties and leave them likely to do things they wouldn't otherwise be able to do thanks to inhibitions, alongside the addictive nature of the substance, left her seeing little benefits to its consumption. Basically, she thought that its prominence and popularity was pretty fucked up. Memories of her stepfathers' booze-soaked breath didn't help either.
Now, there she was, in a shitty bar in the bad end of Kabukicho - not that there's a good end - and drinking a lovely chilled beer. These days, she enjoyed a drink or two. She enjoyed how it smoothed her thoughts, how it numbed and liberated. The same beliefs about its negative effects hadn't left her. It was just that, nowadays, Sunaho didn't particularly care about what it did to her.
It wasn't gonna kill her any quicker than the other elements in her life.
Other members of her Dust Devils were littered around the bar too, enjoying the night after a fruitful day of looting and general disruption. They were playing cards, laughing, enjoying themselves. They knew better than to bother Sunaho herself unless she approached one of the groups. Dressed in her usual, unkempt garb, consisting of old, heavily-worn jeans, her favorite T-shirt, and a cozy bomber jacket, Sunaho didn't particularly look like she was out to have fun and look good doing it.
She was just another poor sod in this bar, some might evaluate, as she continued to almost listlessly drink her beer.
Her attention was drawn to the sound of the door to the shithole opening, making way for a new patron to the establishment. An odd addition to the current clientele. A foreigner, she could tell at a glance. A fairly well put-together one too. Dangerously say, at this time of night, and in this part of town.
It wasn't until a few steps into the bar that one of Sunaho's more rowdy boys gave a low whistle, prompting a sideways glance from the green-haired woman herself. "Oi!" She shouted simply, the man quickly stopping from the scolding. Sunaho herself didn't know why this strange foreigner was here. In other circumstances, she might have even robbed the woman. She did look a bit well-off.
However, this night was for drinks and contemplation, so Sunaho just let her be for now, nodding her head to the woman. "Sorry. These assholes forget how to behave sometimes." The woman groaned, earning a few chuckles from her Dust Devils that were sparsely littered around the bar. Sunaho rolled her eyes, and kept an eye on the strange woman.
Maybe she was starting to get tipsy, but Sunaho couldn't stop wondering what her deal was...

After the idiotic start to be able to get into this bar, which pissed her off. She had done her homework alright? She was looking for a shady bar, she had nothing important that she had with her and else it was literally on her body and the camouflage user knew exactly when someone was trying to swindle her. Don't try that on her when she came from a place where there were pickpockets every other step. But that's why she came prepared. Maybe she should have tried to find older looking for clothes, but she wasn't even sure if she had them. She had what she brought along with her two months ago and it was not the easiest to go shopping when you didn't even know where to go or how to. Surely the search engines online helped her a lot but she wasn't sure if she was ready. She wanted to go home. She did not want to realize what clothes she had forgotten that she would miss. Nope.
But when she finally managed to get past the person outside, she got a wolf whistle or that's how she preferred to interpret it and she simply gave a wry smile. Her eyes turned to the girl, woman? The shady look of the bar surely did not make it easy to see, Narcissa decided it should be a woman because it would make more sense to her. Could young people already be in a bar? She wasn't sure and she did not want to think about it, it only made it more confusing. She arched her eyebrow as she wondered about what the woman said, so that was the big boss that they did not want to be bothered or so.
"I thought that was what this establishment was for? Not snobs that think they know well but those that experienced the city and can tell me more how it works." She put her hands on her hips and smiled at the woman sitting there, "And tell the honest truth because that is what I want to know." She wasn't sure if this behaviour would be accepted, but at least no one else said something and she did not have eys for them, she did not care if they looked at her, she had eyes for this big boss and she hoped that she understood. She did not need names, she wouldn't introduce herself, she wouldn't ask for names, she needed to know stuff.

Sunaho didn't want to judge the woman too harshly, but something about her was still putting her off a bit. A certain nonchalance as she entered and approached, as though either oblivious to the dangers of a shady part of town or simply apathetic towards them. On the other hand, the green-haired woman acknowledged the potential bias from her own perspective... In her line of work, being aware of the dangers of your surroundings became a natural habit. Never knew when a rival gang might decide to cross her off.
Deciding she probably just wasn't relaxed enough yet, Sunaho took another swig of her beer as the woman came to the bar counter. Sunaho was still trying to figure out her deal by sight alone. Even though Kabukicho was home to plenty of foreigners, something struck Sunaho as different about her. Before she could quite put her finger on it, the woman spoke, hands on her hips as she proudly proclaimed that she was there for one thing, and one thing alone. Information, it seems.
"Well, ain't that forward." Sunaho huffed to herself, finishing off her beer and motioning to the bartender for another one. A moment's consideration made her realize she didn't really have anything else to do, and her curiosity was starting to build anyone. "You should be more careful where you go looking for info, y'know. For all you know, me and my boys could rob ya blind. We could kill ya. We won't, but that's cause we're some of the good ones in this shithole." Her warning seemed sincere, but as she received her next drink, she'd give a small smirk to the woman. Maybe she could handle herself, and that was the cause of her confidence...
Maybe it was just pride before a fall.
"Tell ya what. I'll tell you what I can, anyway. All I want in return is a name and a drinkin' buddy. You're one weird chick, marchin' in here, but this town's full of interesting types, at least..."

It was kind of obvious that she stuck out like a sore thumb. Her clothing, her matter of speech. Formal, staccato Japanese, anything really it did not make sense and she noticed very well that they noticed. But she was here to find business and she was going to say that as well and maybe she was lucky. She wasn't entirely weak so no one should simply surprise her. But she would have to be very careful still about what she wanted to do and how. There might be a lot of thoughts around in this bar and ill will and she simply leaned on the bar eventually. Her eyes on the big boss, it was obvious that it was her because the guy who had whistled shut up and looked like a meek little sheep now. Or well that's how Narcissa made it in her mind, she quickly ordered a rum. Finally a bar that served it right, but she would just take one. She needed to be attentive the whole evening and she also spoke to the woman saying she came for the honest truth. "If you demand something this forward, you need to be forward." She said hearing it just enough, maybe it was the bar holding their breath as not much was said at this point.
It was definitely not a show of power, Narcissa was sure that this woman had more than her. But maybe they were curious to see what would happen and if it would please this woman sitting at that table. Heck, she even got her beer earlier than Narcissa her rum. She would still lean against the bar, she was debating to sit down on the bar stool already. "I wouldn't doubt that you are able but looks can be deceiving too." She didn't want to be casual, this whole thing wasn't casual. She did not doubt that the woman herself would be able to do so and that she had enough of her boys and gals around here to do it for her in just a flick of her wrist. She almost wanted to make a sassy comment on being lucky that she bumped into the good ones. God, this business was for the shitty people, for those who could not say everything outside on the daily streets. That's why she came but it was going to be a difficult game. She had been good when it came to pleasing people and speak the words they wanted to hear but her Japanese ruined it, her anger and feeling to avenge her broken status. The fact that she was sincere or that was how it sound like, made it that Narcissa refused to ruin this moment. She liked the smirk on the woman's face and gave her an appeasing smile back.
Oh so she wanted a name. That would maybe work, "I am not sure if that is a compliment." But she had a now amusing smile on her own face so she had accepted and took a few steps to the table after grabbing her own glass and went to sit down, "Name is Daffodil." It felt wrong to gave her online handle but she did it anyway, "I like drinking and I like to learn more about this town." It was a city but she did not care, it was just to cheer for a hopeful fruitful day.

Sunaho kept an eye on any of her boys who might be watching her and her guest, though knew they respected her word enough to keep quiet. The green-haired woman was busy sating her own curiosity, they could gawk at the exotic foreigner later. Her formal way of speaking and apparent apathy towards the potential danger of her situation indicated the curious lady was either confident in her own decisions, or incredibly naive. At least she didn't seem too unaware of the risks.
"I guess I can respect that. Being forward leaves little room for bullshit. Sunaho huffed in response to the woman's forwardness. The foreigner ordered a rum. Sunaho could've guessed that would be her drink of choice. Just the right balance between formality and boldness. With another beer in hand, Sunaho listened to the woman's casual dismissal of her warnings, raising a brow. "In a pinch, looks tell you all ya need to know. The way you look tells me ya didn't come prepared to fight." She rebutted. No one familiar enough with these streets would dress that nicely if they knew their lovely clothes were likely going to be ruined in a brawl.
Her light, almost playful scolding aside, it looked like Narcissa wasn't dissuaded at all. If anything, she was seeming more and more like a quality drinking buddy. "Weird's a compliment around here. At least, it's best to think of it as one." Sunaho teased, before finally learning the woman's name. Well, what she offered as her name. Daffodil sounded a lot like a codename. Oh well, she was gonna use hers too anyway.
"Welcome to Tokyo, Daffodil. I'm Sunaho. These boys here are my Dust Devils. Were one of the many bands of misfits you'll find on these streets." The woman would explain, earning a few cheers from some of her men who overheard. Grinning lightly, she looked back to Daffodil. "So what exactly do you wanna do you wanna know about? Who the big shots are, the politics, or just where to buy whatever shady shit you might be in the market for? Sunaho inquired. Hopefully this would tell her a bit more about the woman, learning what her interests were in looking for this information...

Even if she tried to come up as confident and she would continue to hold onto that role, Narcissa understood that in this society she had to learn more. Her Japanese betrayed her, her clothes betrayed her, everything did. And it would only take a bit before she would be able to control her quirk again as she had done before, so it wouldn't be entirely fair or smart. No, she would have to work hard for it for sure. She should be more careful. "Exactly." The Barbadian woman said as she was totally in that frame of thinking, she did not like people that kept on talking and talking around something, no this worked better. She would always know what to expect and so on, which is what she would prove more times in her future.
"They do, but what if you don't have the luxury of looking?" It was supposed to be cryptic, she wasn't going to tell this woman or her whole gang what her quirk was at this point but yes, people would not see her and she would always look in a room what would be a way to escape, what would be the best spot to stand or hide herself, yes, it was that pathetic, but you had to do something if you were betrayed. Maybe she would bump into a society in Tokyo's underground that understood her hate and her betrayal issues and she would feel somewhere at home. That time would only not come any time soon. "I don't have to be prepared for a fight, that's all I am saying. I can't give everything price immediately as you would understand." But she was amused, she liked the way the woman just bluntly told her, yes, she might have to work on it. But Narcissa also did not want to look like a random person that came to look for trouble. It did not push her away though, it meant this woman knew how it worked and she simply said out loud that she wasn't sure if weird was a compliment. She laughed shortly and softly when it was explained to her that it was a compliment here, "Well, in that case, thank you." Yes, it was worth it to come here.
Her joy only grew more when Sunaho introduced herself and the Dust Devils, she looked around her to the people that cheered and was glad to find the right band of misfits in that case. She grinned a little, "Politics sounds like a shame tonight, but if you could tell me more about the rules of Tokyo, especially how to avoid big issues, you seem to be very well versed with that, so you must be up on that list of big shots."

Sunaho just gave the woman a confused look at her cryptic response, not entirely sure what it was supposed to mean. The luxury of looking? Was she trying to imply that she was hiding things? Seemed somewhat clear at this point. No matter how obvious Daffodil's outward appearance was, what her true intentions were remained hidden and unclear. As for as Sunaho knew, this strange woman could be hiding just about anything. Maybe she could fight, but from her clothes, Sunaho still held that she wasn't prepared for one. The woman herself seemed to confirm that, saying she wasn't looking for a fight. "Sometimes things come to us even if we're not looking for 'em. Some things around here you just gotta be prepared for." The green-haired woman would retort. This weird woman was a strange foreigner to say the least, but at least she had a sense of humor, and Sunaho couldn't help but grin a little at her laugh.
She was a weird girl. But she might just turn out to be a good drinking buddy.
They began their discussion, and Daffodil clarified her own desires. It seemed she wanted to learn about how to get by in Tokyo, and Sunaho was happy enough to oblige. "First thing I can recommend is steer clear of the big shots. The major players underbelly of this crappy city. Where to start..." Sunaho pondered, taking another swig of her beer. "Guess we'll go from the top down. Right at the very top ya got the villain 'Thunder Shock' and his yakuza. Never really liked the fucker. Runs his yakuza like a business, bougie scum that he is. They're dominant in power and infamy, run a lot of these streets and more. They've also got the biggest market share in drugs. Not much more to say, they're king around here. For now. Wouldn't recommend fucking with 'em, keep an eye on what turf's theirs."
The woman drank more beer, talking on even more. "When it comes to organized crime, there's a few other big groups around. Mostly foreigners. Mafia, Russian bratva, shit like that. None of them nearly as big as the yakuza though." She brushed away some hair, thinking a moment before continuing. "The other major group you gotta watch out for is the Plutocracy. Black marketeers, real nasty lot. They trade everything from weapons to people."
Hoping not to spook her too much, Sunaho shrugged a bit, looking somewhat relaxed as she finished another beer, the alcohol starting to work on her. "If you wanna avoid big trouble, steer clear of those guys. If you wanna avoid bein' a victim of them, find some allies. Ain't much more to it than that, unless you wanna get specific in your questions."[/color] It wasn't all that complicated, the way Sunaho saw it. Yeah, shit got pretty mixed up when you actually tried to get into trouble, but avoiding it wasn't too hard... Well, so she thought anyway.
"Where the hell are you from anyway? Don't get too many foreigners as well dressed as you around here." Sunaho asked suddenly, her curiosity getting the better of her thanks to the beers. Well, at least it was something she was actually interested in.

The game was difficult and she knew that. Yet she tried to play the game and be mysterious. Maybe she was now more of a lunatic. As Sunaho called her weird and considering it was a compliment, she shrugged off the feeling of being offended and simply continued. "I will keep that in mind." It might also work to create a different clothing line for her two jobs. You didn't want to bump into the idiots from the government in the same pencil skirt as the morning. Yes, Sunaho might have opened her eyes in that matter, "Because you have a good point." Even though she could basically disappear very well, she had to be prepared that someone eventually would see her. It would be a lie to say that Narcissa wasn't happy to see the grin on Sunaho's face. She would definitely to up her game and get better at it, but she survived this far, and it seemed to be going fine and eventually she was sitting next to the woman and drinking, this fine establishment at least had rum!
And the best of all, she had someone that was willing to talk about the settings of Tokyo. This bar, of course, helped a lot with what she meant and she leaned on her hand after taking a sip of the drink and seemed to be attentively listening. Luckily she had a good memory, she could not take notes at this point. "The big shots, interesting." She nodded, Thundershock was one of the names she had heard the earliest, so that was an easy one. But there was no harm in learning more about it. "Do they have anything that they use to mark their territory?" Or would she have to figure that out the hard way, not that she planned to sell any drugs or do what normal mafia did, though she might need a boogle moment to research the Yakuza history, hm, never a harm in that.
Aha, interesting, so they used the distinctive names, probably to indicate foreigners and particularly the right foreigners, Italians and Russians perhaps? Not as big as the Yakuza, so that meant that indeed Thundershock was the King for now. "Plutocracy?" Ah dear Sunaho, she was so curious in that group, but for now she pondered, though it was fake. "I have heard of them, didn't they plan an auction of some sorts?" Would this person be able to provide her with more information than Bubbles at the moment had done? Because that was interesting. She took another big sip of her rum and gave a short laugh, "Finding allies here seems so difficult. How do I approach people when they are already closed off?" It was a funny idea, maybe more so cuz of the drinking atmosphere, but she wasn't intoxicated or anything, nope Narcissa could handle her rum, for now.
"I am from a small island. Maybe you have heard of it, it's not that far, it's Fiji." She obviously lied but she had practiced this before. Fiji was her safety point now, Barbados was her home. Both fell under the same crown so that helped. "You would not believe where I work." She said with a smirk. Yes, she had to play the game right and even though now she hid behind a false name, she should maybe consider hiding behind a mask as well.
