Ishtar's glowing eyes lingered on him for a few moments, searching. It was not like she could pierce the implacable veil of his lack-of-face but there was still certainly a man in there. A man who felt fear. And she knew he was afraid. That was good. Her artificial eyes twisted and refocused in the momentary silence that hung between the two of them. What if she had just lashed out right then and there? What if she had cruelly put him down? What if...the dark feelings were crushed beneath something greater. Her old instincts, the instincts of the wild girl, the sociopath that had wandered into japan. She wasn't that woman anymore. She had taken control of her own mind; she wouldn't waste things anymore. She bore her teeth; "Well said," She quipped, the glow faded from her skin, the aura of fatality that hung around her, at last, abated and she returned to the smug, if dangerous, regality that she had carried earlier. She extended a tiny hand and offered it in reconciliation. "It is a deal," She said, offering him a smile; "I have...faith you can accomplish this for me," she drawled playfully before tapping him once on the chest. She looked up at him from an extreme proximity; providing him a good view and a wink. "Loosen up," She whispered and spun away, walking back to her seat and sitting down; giving him a look that they were done talking. |  TAG WORDS NOTES |
