Feng would continue to float in the water for an extended period of time as she overheard the excitement and energy of them playing ball. Her expression and thoughts would change as various thoughts begin to float around as the echoes of fun breach the surface of the water. All of these people in her same year and yet she barely knows any of them barring a few run ins during battles. Making memories are important and focusing on training is the same, but one must find a balance. A balance that Feng has been lacking as of late with all of her constant running around. Never stopping to smell the roses or even talk to people. It was on this day she would resole herself to be more open to others and let go of the chains that have been hold her back her emotions. Time for some BALL.
She would quickly close her eyes and sink into the water, only to pop back out. She can't waste a day like this floating around, she might as well get friendly with the others since she won't be around them forever. She took a deep breath and too stance in the water. This could also be a form of training as she doesn't know how fast she can move in water vs she can in the land or the air. So best start now because the days are going by fast.
“Screw it, I’m still a kid…. OI PASS ME THE BALL, IM JOINING IN!” Feng who exclaim as put her arms in the air and prepared for a pass. The sudden change in attitude would shock others but her usual attitude is like this so I might as well. Relaxing all the time means she gets sloppy and lazy. So lets ROCK.

Yumi blinked in surprise as rhymes started to flow from the lips of the girl they'd 'saved' from her awkward demise, giggling along as she wasn't sure if it was a chosen habit or a quirk habit of a mutation in her brain, but the girl seemed to have such a naturally upbeat nature to her Yumi doubted she'd mind just a little chuckle either way, Yumi just taking her in and trying to commit the blonde to her very poor memory. "Farrah eh? Nice to meet you in this most awkward fashion, I can see for the rhymes you have quite a passion.~" She smirked, hoping she wasn't being offensive by mimicing her habit.
At the compliment to her swimsuit, she shifted her legs to do a little spin in the water, not splashing much as one kick at the right angle had her whole body do a small twirl so long as she didn't try and halt it on purpose. "Oh you like swimsuit? I must say I'm flattered!~ I have some cosplay ones, but they can end up quite tattered." She could tell her rhyming beat was a little off syllable wise but she felt she was nailing the impromptu rhymes, though just incase she WAS being offensive. "I must ask, do you always speak in rhyme? Does it not get tiring to do all the time?"
Of course the chaos of the party itself was still going and Rowan and Feng all seemed to be getting into the water, which lead the poor memory of Yumi to finally spark as she kicked her way over to Rowan (though she'd wave a quick goodbye to Farrah for a moment, hoping the brief parting wasn't rude given she'd be playing ball with everyone in a sec.) "Rowan! Sorry I jumped on Kirk first but happy birthday! I er... know we're not grand buddies but I hope you don't mind me dropping by. Thought it might be a great chance to make friends ya know?~"

Within moments, it seemed that Kirk's enthusiasm had shot from a meek 100% to an explosive 150% once the figurative ball got rolling on the topic of turning the literal ball into a competitive game. Once Rowan came over, she joined in and suggested an added rule of continuing the passing of the ball, neither letting it drop into water nor being held onto for too long by any individual.
Keep it going and don't let it fall, huh? So it's like volleyball but we're all on the same team...
Takumi's brows would furrow slightly as his gaze drifted down in thought, contemplating the enveloping teamwork rules that were being put in place. Most of the other smaller conversations happening around him would buzz over his head for a moment before Takumi lifted his face back up with a smile.
Sounds fun! Let's see how long we can keep the ball going!
Takumi would wade backwards a few steps to put some distance between him and everyone else, figuring that being too close to the rest of the group would make the game too easy. If the ball began being tossed around, he would stand (or float) ready with his hands ready to set the ball back up and over towards someone else if it came flying his way.

"There's a poet inside you too! It's not so hard, once you've done it a few. Years I mean... after all! Once you've set rolling the ball it goes and goes by its own momentum. But seriously: you don't forget em. After hearing and planning, planing and rhyming, it's less an issue of thought and nearly of miming!" Farrah chuckled in a lengthy poem to Yumi, pleased by the meeting. From there, she went on to join Jace, and Luka.
Farrah's alert face showed that she was slowly catching the gist of the limmerick Luka had given. She replayed it verbally a few times, testing to see if it really worked that way. It wasn't often she got to repeat anyone's words, given her propensity for rhyming that she rarely ever broke from. Once she confirmed it worked completely, she gave a start of surprise. "How delightful! I'd never suspected! When I heard your claim, for a moment, I'd rejected! To think there are still such wonders of rhyme! It's what makes meeting others so sublime," she sighed happily, feeling so content that she'd more or less forgotten she was supposed to be playing the game herself.
It seemed like Jace wasn't quite the fish in water that Luka was when it came to poetry games, Farrah noted. That was okay; she was struggling to think of how to outdo Luka's opener anyway. "Sometimes, sitting at poolside is nice as well. You can read a book, or whatever compels!" she pointed out, seeming perhaps too easy to concede and let Jace continue as he was. Elsewhere, a little ways away, Kirk was starting a game that seemed plenty fun on its own. She managed to glean all the rules, such as they were, just from his booming voice. Even Feng seemed to have woken up to take part in it. Part of Farrah wanted to join right away... but it seemed a little insensitive to leave Jace here after she'd just committed to cheer him up. Then again, it looked like the personable, slightly less odd Luka was doing a better job than she was by being a little less noisy about it.
Plus, she really liked the idea of a dance party and wanted to get to that immediately. If only there were three Farrahs so that she could do everything! "Aaaah! Ah! I can't decide! The indecision tears at me from the inside!" the poet complained, grabbing at her hair. One side made a ruffling noise, as it was voluminous and fluffy, while the shaved side simply made the scratching noise of nails on skin. "Wait! Ho ho, I'm always playing a rhyming game! So my time to play that and ball are one and the same!" she resolved, smiling to the others. One might note that her dancing game never ended either, as she twirled her way slowly through the water towards the others. "Oh, but there are teams. I can't unbalance! I'll simply wait here and observe their challenge," she finally ended, seeming to slow in her spinning and come to a rest back against the pool wall, with Luka and Jace where she'd started.
She blinked a few times, then rolled her head in a dizzy fashion. "I apologize for my clumsiness, but everything's spinning! That was one game where abstaining was the only way of winning," the blond foreigner admitted, seeming like she'd gone at it a little bit harder than even she could handle. It was pretty uncommon to see someone her age behave like a child, spinning around and around longer than they could actually handle.

Things happened so fast when Kirk said he wanted a competition, and as soon as he settled his sight on the ball that Rowan held, it looks like the competition in his mind was chosen. Luckily it was simple enough for Miku. Just catch the ball. Rowan added another rule. To not stop. So just catch and toss quickly away. She could do that. Miku looked at everyone who would choose to play and people who wont play. She looked at Rowan and Kirk and just gave them a shy thumbs up to indicate that she will indeed play the game. She liked that idea, people doing something simple in unison. It wasnt chaotic and people werent seperated in their little groups and cliques. Heck, even Yumi came to finally wish Rowan a happy birthday. Indeed, playing ball was the best choice they all made. She would make a note to thank Kirk for that idea, even if his voice does jumpscare Miku sometimes. The plant girl simply isnt used to SUDDEN loud noises. She never knows when to expect it Miku then finally spoke "Does anyone else then wanna play or are we all set?" she asked and looked at Luka

Luka looked at the orange haired boy in confusion for a few moments, "you came to a pool party without swimming gear?" he asked, his tone curious but not accusatory. It was fairly obvious how nervous and anxious the boy could be, and he didn't want to make things worse by not being careful about how he worded things. It didn't seem like he was doing a very good job of not upsetting the other boy, as he could see that Jace was taking his words the wrong way. How, Luka couldn't begin to guess, but it would appear he had decided to talk to someone who was incredibly socially awkward and over sensitive. That meant he needed a much lighter touch in order to keep the socialisation positive. He could have given up on it as a lost cause, but honestly, he wasn't a quitter, and maybe he could help bring the firey haired young man out of his shell and inspire a little more confidence from him, after all, a hero should do their best to inspire people to do better.
His attention turned back to the rhyme speaking girl as he idly kicked his feet in the water, after hours of standing on them in his work shoes, it was nice to feel the water against his pale skin. He didn't really know what to make of her, the rhyming was too consistent to be a funny gimmick which meant it was an actual habit for her, one which he was sure would be exhausting after a while, but what could one do, really? He couldn't help but stare as she spun around in the pool before leaning against the edge, blinking slightly and not really sure how to respond to the whole situation. So he just gave her as authentic a smile as he could (it might have been a little strained, but who could blame him?)
Turning back to Jace, Luka gestured in the direction of the person in charge of the area, "perhaps they lend out swimming gear? Even if you just sit in the water on the step, it'd feel good," he suggested as gently as he could, figuring that perhaps Jace just couldn't swim and that's why he was so hesitant. While Luka could probably thoroughly enjoy himself below the water, he was oddly determined to get the orange haired boy to at least take a dip.
