| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ Alright now that everything seemed to be going fine, her birthday had been nice, awkward but nice, there was more to go on and she was so excited to try this. She had even got permission from her dad and he had suggested to use this hotel specifically because it had not too many swimming customers, so shutting down the swimming pool for a night was okay and it quite had a long pool. It was L shaped with the first part not being too deep, your average person could stand and relax, the later part was bigger and had the right ingredients for a diving contest, a jumping contest, make the best twirls and twists and so on. You could be with a lot of people here without being in anyone their way and there was a dance floor, the only thing you had to make sure was that you weren't drenched with water to join it for the slippery slide, there was one slide, there was a hot tub, and special tubs in the corner for your lavender treatment, ice cold or really hot and so on, great to try out for a match or two.
There was a bar and to be fair, there might be alcohol that wasn't removed and so on. Her father had begged her to not break down the whole shebang but he trusted her for once, surely he gave her a lot of eye-rolling and sighs but Helena had convinced him that for once it would be great to see their daughter just have fun. There was a food corner on the left of the bar with enough chairs, lounges and normal to sit down and eat, there was music and just a lot of fun, she hoped for sure that this would be a great pool party.
There were changing rooms and so on and at least her best friend would show up any minute now. Rowan was simply wearing a red bikini and was waiting anxiously for her classmates to show up and show around. She might even seem impatient but that was mostly excitement. Who would all show up, she was really curious, she did not even like swimming much but this was the best she could think off.
She checked if everything was ready, one of her dad's employees was behind the bar and one was behind the spinning table to continue the music and put on requests if people had so but apart from that, the area would be there for just them. |

Post by Takumi Fujimoto on Oct 7, 2019 6:28:27 GMT -4
It had been quite some time since Takumi had taken part in anything; weeks of fading into the obscurity of unnoticed background character status had turned to months. All this time spent basically going through the motions of going to class, doing his homework and maintaining the bare minimum of basic fitness, Takumi hadn't spent much time ruffling feathers or making new friends. The long spans of time studying were only broken up by the occasional part time shift serving drinks and some sessions of saxophone practice in his dorm room. With a mass invite sent out to all the second year students by Rowan, a student whom Takumi never met formally but might recognize as someone he may have seen around campus if pointed out, he figured it was a good opportunity to pop out of the wood work and let his more familiar classmates know that he hadn't become a complete recluse, while also making some new friends along the way.
Takumi had taken a cab to the hotel mentioned in the invite, unsure of how long the trip would take but relatively pleased that it wasn't terribly long, and the ride was fairly relaxing. It gave him plenty of time to listen to some music and gaze at the scenery that passed him by, even if most of his mind was focused inwardly on reflection.
Arriving at the hotel, Takumi would thank the cab driver after paying him and head inside, eventually making his way to the changing rooms. In just a couple of minutes, Takumi was no longer wearing his boring jeans and instead was wearing swimming trunks, deep violet in color with a white floral pattern displayed all over. He would keep his plain, gray tee shirt on for the time being, and would walk out to the pool area with white sandals on his feet.
Oh... Am I the first one here?... Takumi would voice aloud to himself, with just enough volume for anyone in earshot to hear him but light enough to be clear that he was just voicing his thoughts to himself. Only another second would pass by before he noticed a girl with long black hair in a red bikini. Oh! You must be Rowan! Hi, I'm Takumi. Thanks for the invite, it sounded like fun...
Takumi would smile brightly as his walk became more purposeful, albeit with no change in speed, but this time deliberately towards the only other person there. The backs of his sandals could be heard flapping off the ground at the trail of each step he took forward, as was the curse of wearing flip flops. He wondered who else might show up, and actually spent a fair portion of his cab ride focusing on that question, but for now he would be more present with the person already here and resign himself to let his pondering be answered by surprise in due time. At first glance, Rowan seemed like a pleasant person, but there was only so much one could tell about someone without any interaction and Takumi did have a tendency to assume the best of everyone even when there was plenty of evidence on the contrary.

POOL PARTY!!! Thats exactly what Miku thought when she saw this invite, she was totally coming to the party. Thats why she found herself infront of the hotel. Miku wondered if Haruuhi would come or how many people would come. Soon entering the hotel area place she saw Rowan and quickly greeted her friend, but then she also saw a new person there. Someone else from 2nd year? Miku had no idea... ... Actually no duh, it took a few to remember, god Miku why did you have a brainfart. It was actually someone from her own friggin class. But the name Takumi, just kinda threw her off. Miku shook her head and then greeted her classmate "Hey! You're here too. Thats great" Miku was genuine in her words because she did legit wanna spend time with Takumi, be with a classmate and get to know him better. Maybe he would be a brilliant new friend or maybe he'll just be Takumi. Who knows, and thats the beauty of it. Theres only one way to find out and this pool party is it. Miku did wonder though, who else would come
"Hey Rowan, are we early? How many invites did you send?" she asked

Jace didn't like pools. It came with the territory of having a fire quirk AND a cat quirk, but beyond that the dress codes in pools were let's say...lax. Lax to a degree that the shy, awkward boy found himself even more flustered than he did normally when in public situations like these. But when the mass invitations were sent for all his fellow second years, he forced himself to attend. Not from having turned a new leaf and deciding that he should start facing uncomfortable situations, that was far too mature for this still very immature boy who had came to a pool party wearing what were more cropped pants than shorts and absolutely no swimming clothes at all. No, he'd come simply because he'd been holed up in his room to a point he wasn't sure if weeks or over a month had passed by, which was definitely not a good sign. So upon receiving the invite, he decided that it was as good an opportunity to become a functioning part of the outside world as any, and decided to drop by, his parents dropping him off nearby as even someone as socially awkward as Jace knew the stigma that came with being directly dropped off.
But just because he'd shown up didn't mean he'd actually be functioning, as shown when he saw the people that'd come before him. None were from his class, and even if they had been it wouldn't have made much of a difference given he wasn't really spending much time outside of it hanging with anyone or talking beyond what was required or when proved. But it would still have been better than the complete strangers that he faced right now. All that was running through his mind was how much of a mistake this was, and how much he so wanted to run away. But, at least for now, he didn't scurry away and call his parents to take him back to the dorms so he could go back to his room and safe space. Instead he blushed heavily as he entered and approached the casually dressed three person group, not able to look anyone in the eye instead staring at the ground.H...Hi.... And with not quite proper introductions made, he retreated to sit at the bar close enough to feel included without actually having to be so.

With autumn, the cold air started to slowly roll in. And anybody whose been outside in the cold knows, that it's probably very uncomfortable. And this had hit Kirk quite hard. Both in case of his mundane life, and the sports club. Compared to summer, he couldn't really do that much. Of course, if he could get everybody warmed up and ready to go, he could still have a good session... but then a cold became the issue. That and since it wasn't exactly cold enough, he couldn't even consider hockey or any other winter sport an option yet. Honestly, he was growing quite bored. Inside sports just didn't have the same energy, when you didn't have the sun beating on your back... It was the transition phase, and Kirk didn't like it.
And then came Rowans invite. Rowan was one of the pals Kirk had, that he had not really hung out with enough. He wasn't sure if she was just busy, or if it was because they were in different classes, but in the end, most of their interactions came from club talk. In this regard, the invitation couldn't have come at a better time already. BUT, the other thing was that it offered a thing Kirk so desperately needed: A SUMMERY ACTIVITY IN THE MIDDLE OF AUTUMN! Something to say goodbye to summer, and just enjoy something like it for one more time before going full on winter!
Naturally, Kirk was very much into this!
So, when the day came and things were happening, Kirk appeared at the designated place, a fancy hotel, got himself undressed in the right area, walking in in his usual bright orange swim shorts, and immediately locked his eyes to these two girls he was very familiar with, opening his arms wide as he did it! "DUDETTES! HEYYY!" He walked up to them, and scooped the duo by their shoulders into a pretty strong hug! "Man, sometimes I feel real poor, when I see this sort of places ordered for just us, you know! I barely can buy myself new shoes most of the time!" Admittedly, his shoes had to be pretty dang sturdy for obvious reasons, but that was besides the point. He released them from his loud greeting, And looked around for a moment, like trying to lock into his next target.
"But seriously, thanks for the invite! Gonna be awesome, I can feel it!" He rubbed his hands together, as his eyes finally chose their target... The pool! "I assume nobodies dived in yet? I'll be the first one then!" He was clearly taking a running start, his feet outright slapping against the floor, with his arms gloriously waving in the air... Until his eyes locked onto a certain target, his feet smacking to a break, with a silly echo of a squeak, as he ran over to his next target!
"JAAAACE! BRO!" It was the guy who was part of the reason they had one against that british team in the sports festival! Now, he proceeded to run over to him and was about ready to give the most broslap on his back... only to remember that slapping friends he didn't talk with too much wasn't too good of an idea, and proceeded to just pat him. "Man, whats up with you?! We don't really talk enough, you know! What have you been doing?!" A pre-emptive loud assault. Kirk was clearly full of energy as ever.

| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ Oh god did she make a mistake, should she not have done this, was this the wrong night, was there a match or so that she missed... was she just simply stressing ten minutes too early: yes. But Rowan was afraid, she had been a bit on the side line, not doing actively something and now she had organized a pool party right after the midterms, it should be fun, people could unwind anything really, ehm but yea... then it would be fun if people were here, she was sure Miku was coming but she wasn't here yet and that was okay but no one was here yet! Finally she heard a voice and almost jumped up to get into action. Only she didn't really recognize the student and felt bad about her own lack of recognizing faces. She was dumb.
She smiled though because this guy was polite, he knew her name (yes for knowing your hostess thank you!) introduced himself and said it would be fun and that made her smile brightly, "Thanks, I am glad you could make it." But what now.. ehm, offer him a drink?
"You are the first, ha, I was almost afraid no one would show up." She dared to admit, but finally in stormed her best friend. She rubbed the back of her head when Miku spoke to her to ask about the invites she send, "To everyone." Of the second years that was but no one really rsvped and well let her know they were coming and she was sure it was because of her own lack of socializing.
She wanted to say that it was perfect for one person in her class but quickly shut her open mouth before saying a word. That person definitely wasn't coming. Another person showed up which made Rowan more hyped but that cooled almost immediately down when the hi seemed so shy and she swallowed her own and said a simple: "Hello, thank you for coming." Right, ehm, and now? But save by the bell! Quite loudly her sportive friend entered and Rowan grinned a little, thank god.
The hug was maybe a bit awkward but Rowan was new, Rowan became better and instead of putting mean words into her mouth she giggled, "Eh, it's my dad's, he definitely took away some of my savings after I bought a cat with it." She said with a small smile, it wasn't entirely true but he was definitely looking out to what she was buying, "I am glad you came Kirk." She said happily when he said that it was going to be awesome and she nodded that he could be the first and she waited for him to jump in but he changed course and she looked at Takumi and Miku before laughing about it again, Kirk simply was a very enthusiastic human being and she was glad to see that someone would be able to approach the shy person from before, everyone should have fun after all. |

Yumi had decided to jog from the campus to the pool party, with her UA tracksuit worn over her swimsuit. She'd still been maintaining her habit of jogging at least once a day and as such it was more than easy for her by now to cross such a distance on foot. Would it have been easier to take the bus? Sure, but she got a nice little thrill out of jogging these days, having minimal exhaustion and moreso feeling the endorphins that came from it, so why not take the fun route and get a bit more exercise? Heck with the windy paths a bus could take or the stops they made, it ended up taking about the same time anyway.
She'd ask for some directions to the pool where she needed them, and already started to remove her uA tracksuit as she was getting close, easing off her jacket and hopping out of her sweatpants even as she moved forward, eyes wandering about. Rowan was easy enough to spot, Yumi recognizing her mostly from passing. She wondered briefly if she should really be here given their limited connection, but, what better way to try and make a new connection than...well, just plain making an effort towards it? Yeah, that seemed like a good reason to be here. Still, she'd best not shove herself in the girl's face as she was giving introductions to her guests, so as Yumi's eyes flowed around the pool, she spotted a much more familiar face and rushed over with a bright smile, the pool being empty meaning the space around it wasn't all too slippy, and meaning Yumi could take another small jog, tossing her UA tracksuit aside onto a chair around the pool, before leaping up at her target.
"KIRK!~" She chimed out, leaping onto the bulky boys back and latching her arms about his neck from behind. She herself was wearing a more conservative pool outfit than the cosplay she'd worn to the beach party that one time, a full 'top' in yellow with a matching bottom half that seemed to have a half-skirt in it's design, leaving Yumi no more uncomfored than if she were to wear short shorts and a crop top. She hugged herself into her classmates back and stuck the tip of her tongue out where he could see over his shoulder. "Glad to see there's soooomeone I know here.~" She'd look across to Jace, vaguely recalling his face...buuuuut given her memory, she'd cautiously wave, still clinging to Kirk's back, her knees bent so her feet were hanging in the air behind her, putting her weight on Kirk.

Takumi felt relieved to confirm that he was, in fact, at the right place and speaking to the hostess, and her immediately bright smile in response to his arrival made him feel that much better about the situation in general. Admittedly, Rowan feared that people wouldn't show up to her pool party, although Takumi's proof that her fears were for naught became compounded with arrival after arrival of fellow second year students. The next person to arrive was a girl with whom Takumi wasn't too familiar with, politely voicing some pleasure for his presence before turning her attention to Rowan with a question regarding the intended time of the meetup. She seemed nice enough, pretty like Rowan too, but Takumi figured that they weren't necessarily early; he had head of this thing called "being fashionably late" and just figured he, and apparently Miku, might have been lame enough to not be in out it, while Rowan as the hostess probably didn't get the luxury of being late.
Soon after, another boy entered the area, his meek approach making his state of nervousness and anxiety painfully obvious as he barely uttered a one word greeting before adjusting his positioning to the group to be a bit more secluded while still being close enough to not be awkwardly distanced from everyone else. Rowan would offer another thanks for showing up as the ginger boy sat by the bar, and Takumi would follow it up with his own Hi, it's nice to meet you... as he tried to come across as warm and friendly while not seeming persistent or pushy for more involvement from the boy.
Despite the strange atmosphere surrounding them, Takumi genuinely felt relaxed with his unfamiliar peers, having only technically "met" one of them simply by being in the same class as her but never actually speaking to her or even introducing each other before. Oh, that's right I'm so sorry... Takumi would quip back up abruptly, turning to Miko with the slightest tinge of concern as he apologized. ...I know we share homeroom class, but I don't believe we've ever formally met. My name is Takumi, it's nice to sorta meet you, hehe... Takumi would halfheartedly chuckle at the tail end of his proper introduction.
The low energy nature of the currently composed group would soon be broken by the boisterous entrance of a well built bonafide gym class paragon. Takumi felt himself shrank as Kirk addressed the girls and immediately went to try and scoop them up with up with a double hug, all but ignoring the boy in the process. Everything about his demeanor was exciting and friendly, downright explosive to the way he immediately changed course to jump into the currently unoccupied pool with his big display being interrupted only by him noticing the shy ginger sitting at the bar. From super friendly to jumping into a pool and right back to super friendly mode, Takumi just felt even more invisible watching this whole course of events transpire.
There would be one more entrance so far for the pool party, another familiar face to Takumi. He had met Yumi during the sports festival and goofed off with her in the main alley playing some games, but his more recent memory of her was seeing her fully clad in a bunny girl outfit for a cosplay; a sight that had Takumi socially impaired the entire time he was around her. This time, in her half skirted bikini, she was technically showing more skin but somehow it felt easier to be around for the boy who found himself surprisingly intimidated the last time. As soon as Takumi noticed her, she seemingly directed all of her attention towards the musclebound lad and called out to him with the same type of energy he exuded.
...I guess I really am invisible today...
Having been noticed only by Rowan when he was, at first, literally the only other person there and then by the next girl from his own class in passing, Takumi felt like he barely existed at all, but he figured there really wasn't much more he could do about that. Some people were just smaller than other when it came to social standings and presence, and he couldn't justifiably get too mad at that.
Well, seeing as this is a pool party, might as well get swimming... Takumi would shoot Rowan and Miku a reserved smile as he declared his next move and walked over to the pool, taking off his tee shirt and leaving it on a nearby chair if there was one, before heading over to the diving board if one existed. If there was a diving board, then Takumi would casually step onto it and pace to the end hovering above the water, gently bouncing up and down a few times with his feet never losing contact with the surface until the very last bounce then he would hop up and push himself forward with little force. He would drop into the water without a well formed dive and would barely be able to tuck himself in time for a half decent cannon ball.
If there was no diving board, then Takumi would simply walk toward the ledge of the pool's deep end, taking a moment to breathe deeply before dropping into the water in basically the same manner. Once in the pool, Takumi would unwrap his body and swim right up to the surface, immediately feeling the brisk jolt of the water from jumping right in, but it would last only for a few seconds before his mind adjusted to the sudden change.
Hey, you guys should come on in! The water's great! Takumi would call out to everyone else to come enjoy the water, and until someone else came in he would simply just begin casually swimming around as if he were exploring the new area, with no real urgency or purpose but simply to enjoy the sights and leisure. Hopefully he wouldn't be the only one in the water for too long, though, otherwise he might end up developing an invisibility quirk.[/b][/font]

Jaces introduction went about as well as it could have, with no one actively calling out his weak greeting and decision to slightly run away from the socialization when there was still so few of them. In fact, the one black haired girl and the grey haired boy who he'd definitely never seen before but looked oddly familiar were pretty nice too him all things considered, gently welcoming him to the party while not forcing him to engage. He did give them back a light, nervous smile at the greetings, as he'd glance up only for a moment before retreating to the safety of the bar.
And the person who came in next would definitely surprise him, Kirk striding in with orange trunks and unlimited enthusiasm, confident as always as he reached out to the two girls and bear hugged them. Jace stared in surprise, even given that Kirk was a bit...passionate, he hadn't quite been expecting that. But the boy just watched in bemusement as Kirks interests went from everyone to the pool. He really was an all-rounder when it came to sports, remembering how he'd carried everything from rackets to baseball bats in his pouch when they took the Festival together. It only made sense though, he had probably mastered every sport out there. And so Jace watched the kind jock as he prepared to jump in the pool, putting probably multiple people in the splash zone given his size, before he suddenly stopped as his gaze wondered. Directly to the ginger boy, whose eyes would go up in surprise as his name was shouted to the heavens. At least now he didn't have to introduce himself.
The boy was caught off guard when his name was shouted to the heavens, and while when the first thing the hulking mass of muscles that was Kirk decided to do was give the shy boy a pat on the back did cause him to jump a bit, Jace was actually rather receptive of Kirk. At the very least, he was acting more comfortable around him as his visible tension eased up as he relaxed, though given he was naturally tightly wound it might be difficult too tell. O-Oh...Uhh...Hi..Kirk... He hesitated at the end on whether to actually greet him by name, but in the end powered through his nervousness and pulled it off. Though Kirk was having no issues with such self-doubt, asking him outright that they needed to talk more and asking how he was and what he'd been doing. Jace blushed when Kirk told him he essentially wanted to talk with him more. That was the first time someone had outright said something like that to him, not that Jace was in a lot of situations where the chance came up. Still, the boy was now actually smiling a bit, though it didn't make answering his questions any easier unfortunately. Uhh well... This was a bit of an awkward question. He couldn't say he was doing bad, but he couldnt say he was happy with his isolation either. And of course it meant he hadn't been doing much at all really. I-I, uhmm...I'm alright I guess...I-I haven't been doing much though...H-How bout you?...I-I mean...How are you?...
While Jace wasn't the most enthusiastic partner, he was at the very least paying enough attention to Kirk that he hadn't noticed the new person entering the party, nor did he notice her coming up to them until she was quite literally on top of Kirk. The boy would recoil in surprise as the familiar face shouted in exitement of seeing Kirk. Y-Yumi senpai?!.... He couldn't help but blurt it out from surprise, though thankfully he didn't shout it out at least. While Yumi would have trouble placing the ginger boy, Jace would not share this trouble, mostly due to the fact that she'd been the first person he met in UA, and had shown him around and tried to make him feel comfortable and belonging. Though in the end, when she'd suggested sparring together he'd been a bit too overwhelmed at that point and had to go to his room, and he hadn't really seen her since. So when she gave a noncommital wave of confusion, he simply blushed and looked at the ground nodding. Thankfully the awkward reunion would be interrupted by the grey haired boy yelling for everyone to join him in the pool, causing Jace to blush further as he looked at the shirtless boy. That was something Jace was definitely going to pass on, the idea of being shirtless was terrifying to the shy boy, and he hadn't even brought swim trunks with him.

A few people came after her such as Jace, Kirk and lastly Yumi. Hmm, should Miku talk to Yumi about the art club.... naaaaah. Today was all about Rowan, her bff who invited her here. Speaking of invites, Miku asked how many did she said. When Rowan answered she sent it to everyone, Miku then answered "Oh"Because that meant anyone could come. Even the less pleasant people. Miku hoped they wouldnt arrive. Soon Takumi spoke to Miku, she turned to him. Takumi introduced himself. Miku then extended her hand so they could shake hands "Nice to meet you, Takumi. My name is Miku Hajimari, I am the Class President"
Miku didnt know Jace well, he was probably in 2C. The class which had Darren. Darren who pretty much overshadowed the entire class. Then she looked at Kirk.... well besides Kirk. Darren and Kirk were the two most well know students, while Yumi was Yumi. She was her own league
Well, out of the entire crew, Miku decided to stick with Rowan. She was the most normal person around. She decided to follow Rowans lead and do whatever, because Miku was no expect with pool parties, so she had a harder time relaxing

"Man, a pool reservation AND a kitty?! If only my grandpa was so spending ready during my birthdays!" Kirk really felt his wallet get smaller every second whilst talking to these folks. However, luckily having bros who are sort of rich usually meant lot of places to go. Like Emi having invited the whole crew to the beach! In that regard, Kirk couldn't have been more thankful about it if he tried! It was just one of the perks of being friends with a lot of people!
The poor guy he had proceeded to run over to however, was about as jumpy and nervous as ever. The guy outright flinched from simple gentle taps on the back. However, he did get a greeting out, and Kirk was nodding excitedly, waiting for him to answer his questions. He had learned that level of courtesy from his previous meetings with similar kind of guys! Had to give em time to speak too, so they don't drown in the background noise! The boy was awful red though for some reason. "Man, admittedly, full clothing like that in a pool like this, I would probably feel hot too!" However, he did give some answers. And even followed it up with his own questions. "Well, what can I say?! A summer of training behind me!" He proceeded to proudly flex his muscles a bit. "Gotta make sure I am still able to make em dinosaur dudes fall, if need ever rises, hehe!"
Eventually, he scratched the back of his head though. "Although admittedly, getting a bit hard to be sporty when it's so cold outside, you know? Would give anything to have a hot quirk like...!"
He was about to say 'you', but then he felt a sudden pair of arms, wrapping around his neck, As he for a moment blinked and straightened up in confusion! Only to hear a familiar cry, and seeing the culprits face right next to his. "Oh, uh, h-hey Yumi!" Kirk turned just a tiny bit red as the realization grew. "I-I see you've been missing summer too, I guess?!" Now admittedly, usually the weight of a girl of Yumis size wouldn't have mattered for Kirk. He was used to carrying a lot of stuff on his back at all times, sometimes people! But somehow, the idea of a girl in a swimsuit hugging him from behind was enough to make his carrying a bit more wobbly than usual, and had his body temperature rising a bit higher! He turned towards Jace another time... "A-as you can see, I've been doing pretty much fine, hehe!"
However, soon his ears heard the call of the pool, or well it was another guy in the pool waiting for others to join in. But for Kirk, it was the call of an angel, to come to the pool and cool his head in it! "I'M COMING DUDE!" He shouted like a surfer seeing a wave coming! He gave a glance towards Jace, with a wide smile! "Come on jace! I know you ain't on fire all the time!" And another look at Yumi hanging onto him. "And Yumi, Hold onto your swimsuit...!" ...Yes that's the best he could come up with... "Cause ain't no STOPPING THIS DIVER!" He shouted, as he proceeded to dash, his feet slapping against the floor again, as when he reached the side of the pool, he hopped, and hugged his knees. "CANNONBALL!" To his memory, Yumi could float! And hey, if she didn't wanna come into the water with him, she could just let go! Atleast, that's how it had worked last time they were at the beach!
And a man of Kirks size naturally made quite a splash, as the water bounced towards the skies in glorious splatter... With Kirks head soon jumping up like a cork from the pool. "AAaaaah! PERFECT!" He cleaned his watery eyes, with his hands, as he gasped for air! Man, that was a dive! He checked the damages around him, as he saw a grey haired lad he had unfortunately missed previously! "You were right dude! The water IS great!" He swam towards him, bumping him on the side with a brofist. "But man, I would've liked to get in the water first! But can't blame a fellow dude for being a fellow MAN of culture!" He gave a thumbs up, as he kept on floating... Giving a careful glance to see if Yumi was alright, and if Jace had followed him!

| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ Rowan looked from Takumi and Miku to the whole concert that happened on their left. Noise polution, where had she read that before, well thank god it was a private party, there would be no guest complaining about it because they would not hear it, the floor above them was just that of personal and the hallways and such, the rooms would be one higher up and it would be ridiculous to consider that it would even affect that. She waved shortly at Takumi as he said that he would try the waters and she smiled, "I will join in a bit." She had to make sure everyone seemed to be alright, it was maybe a shame a small group joined but she just told herself it would not bring her down, she could accept this. Yes she could, it wasn't a matter of pride or ego, she told herself. It would be nice. She looked at Miku, "Should we get an inflatable ball we could throw it towards each other, maybe Takumi wants to join?" She asked her best friend before looking at what happened at the bar. Shaking her head mildly before turning to get an inflateable ball.
That's when she heard a loud splash and looked around and blinked in surprise at the water fountain that Kirk had created but she snickered a little, it was good that everyone seemed to be interacting. She gave the ball to Miku, "Go in, I will be there in a second." She hurried to Jace, "Hi there, I am not sure but I caught something about fire," and he had cat-transformation right? She thought she saw it at the sports event that she had looked back once she got her memory back, "if you don't want to swim that's fine too, we got a few games here and you can order whatever drink you want, with the bartender here and if it's a game you have to play with two, you can always ask him to join you." She stuck out her tongue after making a joke that it would make his night less boring. "We can always do a dance game after." She smiled before turning back to Miku and hurrying to the water.

Post by Feng "Fei" Yao on Nov 3, 2019 23:36:31 GMT -4
After everything that has happened to Feng this year, she at least deserved a break at least. With the constant training, her studies and internships have taken their toll and she needed something to relax to. Many options plagued her mind but she simply lacked the energy or drive to go to any of those places and so on.
She heard something about a pool gathering and upon thinking about it, it was the perfect solution to her current woes. She quickly put on her swimsuit and the other things that are needed for a pool visit.
She ran out to see that a small group already gathered and it helped to see a few familiar faces and eased her nerves, one of which was her class president. “Sorry, Sorry, I was held up by a few things but I have now arrived !” Feng introduced herself as she bowed embarrassingly in her swimsuit. “My name is Feng Yao of class 2-A. Nice to meet you all”.
She is not the type to show off her skin and boy did it show. Seems like they were starting a game before she got there but she will not interrupt as she just wanted to relax. Her confidence is not Yumi's and god she felt weird but she pushed on through because she needs to relax because its either she relaxes now to she collapses of exhaustion in the near future. A rigged scale to say the least
Her skin is rather fair given her training outside and what she wears but it only adds to her nervousness as she gets into the pool. The water felt nice as she slowly floated around. She closed her eyes as let her worries go into the waves of water. Maybe she will join the game but for now she is quietly relaxing in the pool near the group.

Yumi was glad to see from the boys reaction they had indeed met before, her cautious expression perking up a little. She was fairly sure they'd met she just knew with how bad her memory could be she didn't wanna assume and make things even more awkward. "Heeeeeey...you." She still coudln't remember his name though...crap. She was even partly sure she'd did her memory trick with him the first time they'd met, but it had been half a year since they'd even crossed paths so it wasn't registering in the slightest. Ah well, she'd catch it where she could. Maybe from Kirk blurting it out later.
Speaking of Kirk- "Eh, I'm more of a winter girl but I won't pass up a good chance for a swim.~" She held a nice bright smile, about to ease her weight off of Kirk and get back on her own two feet, when she suddenly had to hold on tighter as he spun about to face the pool. She was even more eager to hop off of him...before he started charging for the pool, telling her to 'hold on to her swimsuit'.
"KIRK YOU BETTER NO-" Too late, he was in the air, and as he curled into a cannonball Yumi let out a squeak, wrapping her arms tighter about him and getting her legs around him a little too. As they hit the water the impact was enough to make her whole body release and fall more freely into the water. Time slowing down as the impact went from a roaring crash to the more subtle bibbles and blubbles of the water shifting around them. Thankfully, Yumi knew how to swim now, and control her quirk in the water. She burst up towards the surface, gasping for air, looking around to try and find the person who'd dragged them into their kamikaze.
"Kirk you ass!~" She yelled out, but with a certainly playful tone, throwing her arm across the surface of the water and tossing a hefty blast of spray at Kirk's face. Then shoving both hands forward before the first had fully fallen to try and get him again, sticking out her tongue at him before looking to the 'inviter' Takumi.
"You're not scot free either. You're the reason he jumped!~" She'd throw her arms at him too, a little further away, so her splash just barely managed to get him.

Takumi's solitude in the pool would last maybe two minutes at the very most, as his invitation to join was accepted by the most obvious of the group to take him up on his offer, Kirk. The musclebound lad didn't let the Yumi backpack stop him from gunning it to the pool with all his athleticism and jumping right in for a cannonball; in fact, he basically encouraged her to remain clinging onto him as if to perform some sort of double cannonball. Takumi would push himself away through the water from where it seemed like Kirk was aiming for, but the impact would create an explosion of water that would still hit the boy, not that he minded given that he was already soaked and, well, literally in the pool himself.
Kirk and Yumi would emerge from the transparent depths of the pool, with the former exclaiming as he breached the surface before hustling over to Takumi to bestow some machismo-filled agreement and encouragement. Takumi's face would form a pensive smile as the bro fist nudged his much smaller shoulder.
Heh, yeah... Nice cannonball by the way, 10 out of 10 Takumi would reciprocate a thumbs up back at Kirk, albeit with much less energy behind it.
Moments later, a playfully upset Yumi would also make her way to the two boys, throwing some banter at Kirk before making sure to splash some water in his face, with the collateral spray for a few droplets flecking onto Takumi. He would chuckle at the interaction before Yumi turned her attention to him for a little belated revenge, citing his invitation as the reason why Kirk rushed to the pool without giving her a chance to protest.
Ahh, sorry! His playful tone would hopefully indicate that he wasn't actually upset for being splashed as he jokingly put his arms up to fail at blocking any of the water.
Takumi would quickly glance back up at everyone else still standing outside of the pool, figuring that with more people going for a swim, then anybody who actually wanted to jump in would eventually do so. Turning back to Kirk and Yumi, the boy wasn't really sure what to say to the pair. Takumi quickly realized he hadn't an inkling of what to say or even what else there was to do in a pool once you got in, unless you enjoyed swimming laps like an athlete, but then again it was likely that Kirk would and that Yumi would respond with getting competitive.
So, uh... What have you guys been up to? I don't think I ever see either of you around campus all that much aside from maybe in passing...
