Each of the officers acknowledged their greetings with varying levels of excitement. An aura of unease could be felt from some of them, but then again they are working with interns whose abilities far exceeded their own. That and this certain group don't know how to deal with younger people since the job requires them to bust in and take down baddies. That and they leave the people work to the others.
The engine roared as the armored vehicle patrolled the streets. The radio in the van is going nuts as various calls going far and wide towards officers that are out and about. Freya and co were sitting in the van as they awaited what kind of call they are going to get today. She looked at the group as they sat awkwardly as all teenagers do in this type of scenario. Keeping her eye on Rowan as she was a special case where she needs some proper guidance on that quirk of hers. Her quirk is different from hers but some advice always go a long way these days. Not very common to run into someone who can just explode objects via touch; but nonetheless she will do her best to guide her. Miyus quirk is going to be situation considering their hunting ground today but she will do just fine. Haruuhi has a pretty useful quirk all things considered but she is more on the utility side of the trade. A very versatile group that can deal with a wide range of problems with a small margin of error.
On the other hand, the officers that are with her today are dependable but it's going to be tricky coordinating with them alongside the interns. The majority of the group has quirks with the only outliers being the driver and lazy ass in the front. But it ain't the end of the world, this team is competent enough to deal with a crazy situation. Well she hopes but this job is known hazard to one's mental health if one fully expects anything to go smoothly.
“Might as well make some small talk while we wait for the call to duty… Anything you’re interested in asking the interns, Officer Yukari?”, Freya states out loud as she relaxes in the back of the van. “Boss, why are you putting me on the spot like that….”the young officer replies. She took a moment to think about her question before looking to the three, “What are your dreams of the future in this sort of business? Not everyday I get to work to kids at UA so it always made me curious…if you don’t mind me asking”. As she finished her question a lazy voice chimed in from the front ”Yukari, isnt that a bit clich-”, he adds in before he was punched yet again by the same officer. An audible chuckle could be heard from the driver has continued their patrol. The hum of the engine filled the air as she awaited each of their answers
Small talk helps ease the nerves and getting both sides to talk will help when the troubles come their way. Well that and Freya is saving her energy since she didn't get a wink of sleep last night as she was preparing and practicing for today. Doing a good job of hiding it so far but the report she received a few days back about a string of incidents of aggravated assault was troubling. No links between the cases and the suspect remained at large but the general public doesn't know that. A part of her hopes that today’s hunt will yield a catch like that but the chances of that happening are one in a million. At worst a small gang causing trouble will be the most amount of action the group will see today.

| ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ It was so interesting to see a group work together, after just courses in UA it had not really occurred to her that people did, especially because Igarashi-sensei had kept her separate, she had no idea if Luka and Melody had stayed together, hm might be worth to ask. But not now, she would aks either of them later and now she would focus on here. She did not want to drool all over these people and her brain had not figured out yet how to ask things and remain polite as her father had taught her so she had at this point refrained from asking any question.
She should really think of something to say because she did not want to be the stupid one, she checked Haruuhi and Miyu, two girls she wanted to ask a lot as well, but that felt stupid in a way as it did not really have to do with anything of the internship and thus she did not want to be either scolded for doing so or be told that not now so she did not say anything and looked around at the people in there, she looked up at Hellhound mostly especially when she started to talk. The good thing was that no one else had spoken up yet although Rowan was basically waiting for Miyu to do so. She seemed to be the least shy one and she said essential things, Rowan surely could learn from her. But thanks to Hellhound her remark it was the officer that asked a question. Rowan wondered if she could call her that in her mind but than realized Hellhound did so as well.
This was a question that Rowan finally could answer, it helped she had recently discussed her plans with her father. "I actually want to focus on rescue and maybe start a group with other people, I actually had the idea to use my family's company as a base also for issues when people need a home or a safe place to stay after an issue no matter what course and I intend to focus on organizing that and helping out with rescue cases." She blurted out, which made her blush rather well, "Maybe even more combat orientated when I figure out how to keep control of my quirk." Had she said something wrong, she now surely hoped they did not recognize Sakamoto as the name linked to the hotels but the good thing was that the hotels itself were not called that way, so that might work. |

Ah there it was, the classic question of what one wanted to do in their future. For them however it seemed like their answer was going to be so much bigger than "I want to be a policeman!". No, the three of them gathered here were students at U.A, each aiming to be the first true generation of heroes to graduate from the Japanese Hero program. What did she want to do with that under her belt? Well... lots of things.
"Well, I personally want to be a detective or a private investigator. I want to deal with children as much as possible, orphanages and abuse cases. I don't really know about anything as specific as Sakamoto-san, but I know the direction I want to go in. Growing up I was an orphan myself, and I've been in and out of some pretty abusive homes. So I want to make sure that never happens to any other kids. People don't really pay that much mind to those kids, you know?" Haruuhi told the officers gathered around her while maintaining a smile on her face. Over the course of the last year and a half, this had become much easier for her to talk about. While her traumas still played a huge factor in all of her actions, they at least didn't haunt her ALL the time. Just... most of the time.
"What about you Hellhound sensei? What drove you to become a pro hero?" She wondered curiously as she looked up to their internship leader.

Freyas ears perked up when she heard their responses and reasons why they chose this kind of work. Yukari would listen intently as the interns answer her little question while the driver listened in. The lazy officer had nodded off during the downtime so he couldn't give his usual snarky response.
As the interns answered Officier Yukari's question, responses were not what Freya was expecting when she met them. These kids are rather extravagant in their goals and backgrounds arent day? Nevertheless they were admirable goals to work towards in this new era of change. It was rather calming to hear an honest response from the soon to be heroes who are going to be joining the force. They earned some points from her in that regard as she would note them down for future work.
“Quite the response...rather impressed by these goals..”Freya would chime in as she spoke up. “Officer Yukari...what do you think of these goals? Are you satisfied with these responses?” She would ask as she checked the road for any signs of trouble.”Yes I am...thank you for answering!” she would answer nervously as she wasn't not actually expecting a response like that. Then again she comes from a completely different world from these kids. So hearing what these kids have gone through and where they came from is a bit shocking to say the least. Attention would turn to Freya as she was asked a similar question by Haruuhi. The officers perk up as they were curious to hear what was her cause as well as the interns. She would take a moment to think of her response as she always had a good answer for this question but never had the chance to say it. After creaking her neck and checking her gear, she would respond without much hesitation.
“My little brother, he always looked up to me in times of crisis. Always annoyed me with questions about life and what to do. He is always optimistic and possible someone who can lead a country with enough time given to him. In essence, you can say I became a pro hero to punch baddies to live up to my little brothers expectations. I didn’t give a rats ass at first, but then it grew on me after a bit as I settled in….to summarize : protecting my family and leading by example is what pushed me to be a hero..”, she would say honestly as the officers in the car remained silent. Yukari would speak to Miyu about her goals and various other topics as they seem to share some hobbies.
Freya's thoughts would turn to responding to the interns in turn as she would give them some words of advice. First directing some words to Rowan, “Kid, that's why you’re here, to get some experience in using your quirk on the field. I’ll give you a few pointers once we get some action today so keep close and follow my words.”, she would say sternly then turn to Haruuhi.”..and you. Some mighty fine goals but make sure to get your license and become a pro. The government is a bit of a stickler when it comes to that. Keeps ya out of trouble but if you need some employment, I’ll make a few calls to you acquainted with a few people I know that deal in that….Just remind me after we’re done with this”, she would explain as the radio starts to go off.
“Well that's our cue, time for some action”, she would say as she would hear the situation The current cause of trouble is a small conflict between two gangs in the area east of where they were. It was relatively close and it seems like it's going to go bad soon. The van got faster and the sirens went on as they made a turn on the next street and headed towards the incident.
“Ok so the call is relatively simple and straightforward. We disperse the gangs before things escalate. As much as the idea of punching them in the face is appealing as all hell, it is a matter of public safety. I'm going to leave this to you interns as a way to show off your quirks and how you deal with the situation. Remember to communicate with your team and make sure that you think ahead...alright?”, she would explain as she would sit up.
The armored van would make a stop and that was their sign to get out. Freya would get out the back and survey the situation. Some of the gang members were immediately wary of her appearance as she was relatively known for her temper.
“Ok, showtime. Lady Inferno, I have a challenge for you. With your quirk what can you do that can get this crowd to disperse without doing damage to the surrounding area. Radio Tower, same for you. Ol Giant Girl here will be on standby with me as she her quirk wouldn't be as useful in a situation like this. The goal here is to get them to scatter and prevent them from escalating to something bad..am I clear?”, Freya would set them loose as she would then get up on top of the van and take a seat as she glared at the gang members. A few still arguing and a small number nervously staring at her as her glare pierced their soul.
====================================== Freeform: This is going to be your chance to deal with a situation as how you see fit. Whether be knocking all of them out, making them run away or some other solution. Feel free to work alone or with your fellow interns to find a solution to this. Name of the game is use your quirk in a way that is non lethal and discover how to apply it. Freya will intervene at the end if you wish her to but rounding them up and taking them out will be up to you.

Listening to Haruuhi made her feel like the goal might be vaguer but maybe more honest. It was Rowan using other examples to form her own and she wasn't even convinced yet if it was her own goal, maybe one day she would figure it out though. Right now she simply listened, glad Haruuhi asked the same question to Hellhound as Rowan desperately wanted to know. Maybe she was in the wrong spot, maybe she was not. Her own hero story wasn't about sunshine and daisies, she had no reason to protect anyone or to try and make a better situation for a certain group of people, nope, she came to learn how to control the fire of her quirk and that made it, rather pathetic. She did not say that she had already said enough pathetic words for the day that she would shut up for now. She watched outside for a bit until Freya explained the situation and she turned to look up. Her eyes turned slightly bigger although she definitely tried to block her fear, especially the look on her face. She wasn't going to use her quirk, she had not used her quirk for quite some time, yes Jaegar was very annoyed with her but no one else had to know.
But she had to get out of the van and she stood there, looking at the gang members that seemed to be already weary of Hellhound, though the pro-hero probably would just remain standing where she stood. Rowan had an internal panic attack, trying to focus on her breathing, but yes there were black spots dancing in her vision. She could do this, she did not just had a stern look from Hellhound when it came to her quirk. Use her quirk without doing damage? Without doing damage?! HOW! Right, swallow, calm down and talk to Haruuhi, "I think it's best if we do team work right? If we have to scatter them, we better not drive them accidentally together." Maybe the smart girl had ideas for her, who knew, ehm, she hoped very much but she doubt it for obvious reasons that she and Haruuhi had not met much beforehand. Even if she was the sister of her best friend, who cared. Use without damage... she could maybe make explosions from a distance so they would be jumping up and not be harmed, the heat would maybe push them away but not burn them?

Ah, there it was, the usual talk about making sure to get her lisence so that she could accomplish her goals legally. She knew all of that by now of course… it had been made painfully clear to her that acting as a vigilante wouldn’t help her, or the kids she wanted to protect at all. She didn’t agree with the government on many things, but it was a necessary evil to finish U.A and register herself to make sure she could do this right. Like hell was she going to let anyone else suffer the same fate she had.
That’s when her head started to buzz, moments before the radio went off and Hellhound announced that that was their cue. Haruuhi brought her hand up to the side of her helmet, pushing a button that would close the visor and completely hide her face from everyone around her once more. She listened to what her instructor was saying and felt chills run down her spine. A possible gang war hunh? She shuddered at the possibility of the Kobayashi of the Ingawaro clans being there… No matter which was involved, if they were, it would be more trouble than she could most likely handle. However, Hellhound was clear and precise, and haruuhi couldn’t help but answer faithfully.
“Yes ma’am” She responded as she stood up the moment the armored truck stopped. She was starting to get cold feet… second thoughts about this specific internship, if she was really ready to be facing the possibility of a real battle…. She swallowed hard as her heart started to beat faster and faster as her anxiety grew. The doors to the van opened, both girls had their instructions, and yet both girls began to silently panic.
However, at times like these, it always felt as if Haruuhi had a silent, guiding presence that continued to push her forward… she could never truly explain it, but a voice that drove her past her fears and anxieties lately.
“I think we need to be as flashy as possible. Scare them and get between them. I’ll face the gang on the east side, you face the gang on the west. I’ll blast a siren through my headset to frighten them, launch a, explosion into the air… like a firework if you can, or a flare. Ready to jump in?” She asked Rowan, the voice coming out of her speakers still relatively low for now. However, as soon as she got some kind of confirmation from Rowan, the sound of police sirens began blaring through the speakers in Haruuhi’s cat like ears.
With the help of her leg braces, Haruuhi was able to bolt into action pretty quickly, leaping into the fray of the two competing gangs and turning to face the east. Her voice suddenly began projecting through the headphones now as well, being heard just as loudly as the sirens.
“We are riot team Heroes! Stand down immediately or you will be brought into custody!” She ordered the gang, both hands out in front of her as if she might blast her own fire at them at any given moment. Internally, Haruuhi wanted to cry and scream, wondering where this confident sounding girl was even coming from!

She appreciates the energy that Haruuhi put into that callout and good on Rowan for not immediately jumping the gun. Quick and rational thinking helps in this line of work and keeping a leveled head is vital to keeping peace. But it was going to take more than a few words and threats to stop the gang as she looked on from the van. The other officers with her are on standby as they watched the gang closely.
The area has been under quite a bit of stress as of late due to various gangs vouching for territory. Stopping these two can bring a bit of peace to the area for a while until something else happens but that is beside the point.
Gangs reaction was mixed to say the least from the looks of things. Their attention turned to them and the atmosphere got a bit more intense. Some were backing off a bit but the stronger willed ones who lacked any sort of foresight were going to pose an issue. “Well what’re you gonna do about it little girl? We outnumber you and a little team like yours aint gonna scare us away.”, one spat back as they ready their weapons. A few of his posse were backing him up with yells and laughs. Obvious that the majority of the gangs here were no more than their early twenties to late teens as they lacked any sort of organization. Nevertheless, they were armed and dangerous and they can cause some serious property damage if they were left alone to their own devices.
But upon closer inspection, they looked to be more bark than bite as a lot of them looked a bit wary about what was going to happen next. At least one officer in the car was laughing his ass off as he watched them stand there. Despite their words and demeanor, they were scared and half of them were about ready to escape. At least one bottle was thrown and hit the vehicle to signify that they wanted to fight.
“Well then, they asked for it. Show them what you can do.” Freya said as she leaned up against the van.

Right, here she thought she was a bit of a strategic mind but she was maybe deadly afraid for making shit worse and she didn't know if she should actually say something about and she looked a bit uncomfortable. But she changed that, she knew how to act in a way to look more confident than she felt. It helped, in that case, to have grown up in a wealthy family where she hated the parties, hated the lonely feeling she always had but showed up with her head held high and just the best mindset to screw over everyone, now she was not screwing over everyone but she wanted these people gone and Haruuhi had simply pointed out to make it a flashy thing. Right, she could do that. Well she was wearing her hero outfit and she has her marbles, so she could definitely make explosions. She thought about it, she would keep her distance because to not throw up the marbles too high if she wanted to make an impression and not simple fireworks.
"We ask you kindly to stand down." She heaved her voice and tried to put the arrogance in there that she had known so well from parties. Though they never involved her talking like that. It would just have been talking to one of the annoying brats but she imagined them now standing at such a party and she would kindly ask them to move so people could pass instead of being afraid of such snobs. She gritted her teeth and showed her explosions by throwing the marbles with a high loop, bow, forward so they would explode before they would hit the people. She wished she had bigger ammunition for this. She would think about that later, she made another explosion on the left and on the right of the group to keep them as a group. They would have heard Haruuhi so it was moving away or get arrested basically.
