Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here After the knee to the face, Aeris took out her cellphone and aimed the camera at the Captain. After her finished threatening their jobs, there was a quite obvious click. Akamaru’s face perfectly lit, centered of the frame. Complete with name tag. Evil grin and all.
As Aeris was planning her next three steps, chess came into the picture as they were instantly surrounded by cop cars and guns drawn. It almost felt like a trap. As things stood now, the heroes had a good shot in the courts. She was assaulted first as she was hit by the car door with no warning. Wagyu has done nothing except be guilty of being large in the vicinity of a police officer. Sure the heroic boy on roller blades had tripped him, but minors were reprimanded to their parents or school for such misdemeanors. It was Akari that she was going to keep fighting for.
She was hoping that the boy, who’s name che just could not call to her mind right now, could get Akari out of here while the pros did their thing. But when Wagyu mentioned Captain Himura and Akari Himura together, Aeris’s face lit up, but with an equally evil smile directed towards the Captain. “Wait. Wagyu-san.” Her face turned to one of almost blank thinking, like a stereotypical blonde just realizing that there were more than three lights actually in that one room with the Alien. “Does that mean the homeless girl who told me she was kicked out of her home by her parents because of her quirk on her birthday is the daughter of the Captain here?” Her hand definitely pointing directly to the Captain as her other one pocketed her phone. Her voice was loud enough that every officer could hear what she was saying.
“Didn’t the Child Abuse Prevention Act of 2016 make that super illegal. And if his wife was part of the expulsion of the child from their home, both of them could face National charges? So any officer trying to assist a suspect in escape by drawing weapons and surrounding us in this situation could also be arrested and tried in Tokyo High Court?"

Akamaru still promptly ignored the behemoth Wagyu's questioning on what exactly Akari had done to warrant the sudden chase on her. He did, however, eye him with a bit of a dirty look. It could probably send a bit of a mixed message, but it was more along the lines of 'It's none of your business, you're the one interfering here.' It was almost laughable, this situation. At least Wagyu had some sense to step down before it got worse for him. He knew his place...at least, somewhat. He'd make sure that his punishment was still enough to teach him more. Leon, on the other hand...
The man scoffed in annoyance at Leon's constant probing, saying flatly "You're acting awfully cocky for someone who's more in the wrong than I am at the moment." He then crossed his arms, looked dead into the camera as he spoke his mind a little. "As for your accusations, let's not forget that the child in question has already been charged with numerous offenses and is committing yet another one by loitering in the area. You're defending a criminal, someone who's very Quirk already has decided their face. WOULD YOU HONESTLY DEFEND SOMEONE DESTINED TO BECOME A VILLAIN, A MONSTER?" He spat the last part rather loudly, making sure that Akari could hear him.
His face was getting red with anger, primarily towards the monster that he had created, but was now being taken out on the two people that stood in his way. "Do NOT forget your place, Leon. Do you honestly think you're in the right? You and the minotaur there," he started, waving in the direction of Wagyu, not even addressing him by name. "Do you honestly think that you are above us? The moment you took your job you knew that you were going to be considered as less than the cops that you are hired to HELP, not order around, and especially not hinder. And now you both not only interfere in a police operation, one that you know has no need for Pro, nor even remotely requested for, but now you assault an officer while he's down."
He shook his head in annoyance, his body slowly untensing as the anger slowly drained from his body. "The minotaur has the option to step down immediately, and this obstruction will be dealt with minimally. You, on the other hand, Leon..." Akamaru raised his hand up, waving it briefly, signalling his men to move in. "Cuff her!"
While Akamaru's men closed in to arrest Aeris, the cop cars chasing down Red and Akari slowly but surely began to close in on them. "STOP RIGHT THIS INSTANT, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW." A voice blared from the speaker on the top of one of the cop cars chasing them. They couldn't particularly get a read on the boy with the criminal in quesiton, but they knew that Akari was a dangerous one, one that could spell the end of all the police currently chasing them should she let fire rain down.
Meanwhile, somewhere along the way, a news van followed the chase, keeping up a decent pace with the pursuers. "...And as you can see, the chase is still high in octane as the apparent teenagers keep up their pace. None is known currently about the covered up child, but the person they are with is on record for numerous offenses in the past. Not much is currently known for the reason for this chase, but we will keep you updated as the action unfolds!" the reporter chirps into her microphone, keeping tabs on all the happenings. Whatever happens from here, it will be a must-watch for those who keep up with the news. Stay tuned, folks!

This was hell. This was a waking nightmare. This was the worst possible timeline. The worst outcome to come to. For Akari, this was like running the gauntlet to get to the better side, with the gauntlet being a circular path. The metaphorical dead end without an end. SHe would be running now, running until she was dead. SHe didn't know why this was all done, other than her quirk specifications. And, she was already malnourished and without any of the medicine she had managed to get from the two heroes that were being dealt with in the back ground. No, This was like she had already lost. While running along with Red, she nearly fell, not physically, but, almost decided to give up, and get this over with by fighting back and letting the bullets rain.
She lowered her head and simpered a little as she broke in to a little bit of a sprint. But, Red had pulled her in to his arms again, and carried her off toward the alley, even as the police sirens blared for her. With the news presence, this would be bad for her, and bad for the police. She thought about how she was never going to get in to UA at this point.
She thought about how the police would never forgive her. She thought about how this was all her fault for having a quirk, like it was a choice. And as Red would go in to the alley way with her, she just looked to the side and sulked, there was no point to this. No reason to try at all.
"I don't want to, but, this is pointless. He's right, I'm just meant to be a villain and should go get started on that." She would say in a forlorn tone while in Red's arms, her body extra weak.

Alright, so, these cops were more persistant than he had thought. He'd figured dipping into an alley way would lose em, but unfortuatly, there werent many around he could use. Well, there were, but they were also the size of a cop car so they could easily follow him. He'd dipped into one assuming that the guys would need to turn and slow down, but the bastards were apparently really good at turning, almost drifted into the alley to follow. Plus, There was the slight issue of no adjacent alleyways to run down, so Red had to go in a straight line. Somehow, there were no fire escapes he could trick into around here anyway, and the buildings were both too high, and too far apart for him to wall jump up em to the roofs, so he was stuck with a cop car that was getting a little bit too close for comfort and shouting at him.......and was that a FUCKING NEWS VAN BEHIND THEM? SERIOUSLY?
"Ah christ......please let the beanie be my saviour." He'd mutter to himself as he looked back, not giving the camera crew or the cops a decent look at his face due to the hood, goggles and beanie combo he had on. Hopefully the fact he never wore hats ever would save him, but he didnt like his odds. Still, as long as he kept his mouth shut, and just ignore the cops shouting at him....just ignore them, and everything will be fin--- "WHAT LAW, THE DONT BE AN ASSHOLE ONE? OR THE ONE THAT INVOLVES NOT TAKIN BRIBES TO LIE ABOUT SHIT FROM YOU CORRUPT FUCKIN PRICKS?" Red would bellow as he looked back, once again trying to not give the cops a good profile of his face, but they could probably tell he was a bit pissed off about this whole situation.
Well done you fuckin moron, now they know what you sound like....you better hope the fact that you're pissed off voice is louder than usual and the wind due to the speed we're going mask it a bit, cause otherwise you just fucked yourself. His brain would criticize him, but it was gettin a bit pissed too. Anyone would in this situation, he was gettin chased down by corrupt as fuck at worst, misinformed at best cops who wanted to arrest a little girl for crimes she probably didnt fuckin commit, or atleast werent on purpose. She was harmless, not a damn monster like everyone acted like she bloody was....speaking of....
As they ran away from the cops, he'd hear Akaris words and his anger would flare just a little bit more. He couldnt exactly completely empathise with her situation, since it seemed a lot more screwed up compared to his, but he had a good goddamn idea of what she was going through right now. Not that he'd ever actually consider giving up on helping people, but he couldnt exactly say he hadnt thought about it.....He'd buried that shit pretty fast though. But right now, he had a very, very weak girl in his arms who really needed someone to cheer her up.....and what kind of asshole would be if he DIDNT do that in this situation?
"......Akari, the fuck are you on about? You arent meant to be a villian at all! I know you have very understandable problems with trusting what people say, but i can tell you for a fact, that you arent the type to go around starting fires just because you can. I have no idea what actually happened to make the cops come after you, but i can assume it was just an accident or something that you didnt intend for, and someone decided to screw you over for no reason. Its how most peoples quirks show up, i should know, i nearly killed a guy with mine. Besides.....do you REALLY wanna let that prick of a cop back there win? Cause if you just give up and become what he says, then he WILL be right.....so why dont we prove him wrong, eh? That'll REALLY piss him off." Red would try to cheer her up, giving her a wide smile as he did to try and get his words through to her. He had to try atleast.
Unfortunatly, with that speech, the cops had decided that now was as a good time to be right on bloody their ass. Red had been ducking through traffic and alleys the entire time but they had been keeping really good pace with them....that was, until Red found the perfect alleyway. It was small, too small for a cop car to follow through, and Red could use it to trick his way to the smaller buildings roofs to lose em. So, as he approached said alleyway......he'd jump upwards.
It was a slightly vertical jump, one that would slow him down enough so that the cop car would pass UNDER him without time to react.....and he'd use the roof of it to give him that extra distance to get up to the roofs. Once he was up there, he'd start to move around erractically so they couldnt track him, moving down from the roof once he was outta sight, so they could just keep running....he felt bad about leaving the pros behind, but....they could probably handle it.
The van following would probably get a good angle of a kid flying through the air with a lady in his arms, all heroic like.....hopefully this didnt come back to bite him in the arse later. Plus, it probably wouldnt look that heroic, considering he was also flipping the cops off as he flew. "SEE YA ASSHOLES, TELL YOUR BOSS HE'S AN ASSHOLE FOR ME, WOULD YA?" He'd shout, with a wild as fuck grin on his face as he said it. He really didnt like asshole cops, so getting to tell em to fuck off was really great.
"By the way Akari, if we get away, you got anywhere you wanna go? You know so we can lie low and stuff for a bit."

Out of the corner of his eye, Wagyu caught Aeris taking a photo of the Captain with her phone. He wasn’t sure quite what she was planning to do with just a photo, a video might’ve served them better, but he supposed just seeing that kind of expression on a police captain might give them some leverage. Then again, considering they’re both quirkers…
The captain didn’t quite seem willing to admit he knew what Wagyu was insinuating, but Aeris certainly did, considering the evil grin that spread across her face afterward. It was moments like this he was glad his own hero costume included a full mask, as otherwise Captain Himura would surely notice the minotaur’s expression grow to match his colleague’s. Hopefully, one of the cops in the crowd would have a conscience, but even if they didn’t, they had another way out now. Blackmail may be illegal, but it's not like the good Captain was following the law either.
He tried to stifle the smug sarcasm that threatened to tinge his voice, and replied to both of them. “Well, if Fantasy’s assumption is correct, and judging by your expression it certainly seems that way, it is in fact our business. In fact, it would be the business of any good, law-abiding citizen, to help a child in need like her. And to apprehend the parent neglecting them.”
Of course, without any real ground to stand on, Captain Himura could find no option but to resort to insults and threats. Threats that held a little more weight with more than a dozen guns pointed at Wagyu’s head, but not enough to still his tongue. “Now, what do you mean by her Quirk ‘deciding her fate’, sir?” Wagyu was getting angry, and despite his best efforts he wound up almost growling. “Surely, you aren’t implying someone’s Quirk informs their morality, are you? Because if that’s the way you see it, then you must think me a criminal in the making as well. And I doubt the hero program would want to hear a captain criticizing their decision on who to hand their licenses to.”
It was hard to keep his hands aloft, as every instinct in his body was crying out, to ball them into fists, put his head down and charge at the man before him until he learned his goddamn fucking place, but the only sign of this internal struggle would be a slight shake in his arms. “And, as I’m sure you’re aware, criminals and convicts still have rights, sir.” If only the captain could see through Wagyu’s mask, and see the cold hard stare he was giving him. “For example, refusing them access to life-saving medical treatment, that’s still a violation of their basic human rights.”
Of course, of COURSE the captain was only deigning himself to acknowledge Aeris’ presence or name. For someone in charge of a Quirk task force, he was sure willing to wear his prejudice on his sleeve when it suited him. Wagyu let the man scream, and curse Aeris out, only speaking up when he was done.
“Sir, with all due respect, it is in our right to interfere with this operation. Rescue, both of quirkless and quirkers, is a part of our duties, and I would say rescuing a child from one hellbent on violating every right to a safe life she has falls under that, don’t you think?”
He huffed in frustration as the cops closed in on Aeris, and before he could stop himself he’d started pawing the ground, as if ready to charge. At least he could still keep his arms up. The scared, human part of his mind was begging to just surrender and find a less risky way to protect the girl, but he was running on rage and instinct right now, and he couldn’t make his mind up.
