"'A small, homeless girl in a firefighting suit seen across numerous places in Tokyo...'"
Akamaru Himura read the report to himself briefly as he patrolled around in his police car across town. The man sighed in annoyance and he rubbed his face and tried to focus. He already didn't have the time nor the patience for something as small as this, but he had a suspicion about who this mystery girl was. No one just went around in a firefighting suit, especially when someone was homeless. He was already pulling up her record as he drove around in search of her:
Himura Akari Sex: F Age: 14 Height: 1.52m Weight: 45.3 kg Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black Notable Crimes: Theft, burglary, arson, assault of a hero, breaking and entering, trespassing, harassment, loitering
"Fucking Christ, kid..." Akamaru muttered, shaking his head at the number of charges on this kid's head. Especially when he had been there for the majority of them; he'd even put them on her record himself. It wasn't his fault, of course: the kid was a downright monster! A hideous stain on his family, whose power was only to destroy. And that didn't just mean physically as well. The cop gritted his teeth as he thought about her, but quickly managed to regain his composure as he drove by, waving kindly to the people of the city.
Why they decided to have him of all people check in on the devil spawn was beyond him; maybe they were just tired of doing it themselves, or maybe they were just scared of what she could potentially do to them. Not that he could blame them. He blamed himself for even bringing her into existence anyway. Fate was just cruel like that, he supposed.
He stopped by the latest reported sighting of her and simply waited and watched. He already knew that he was probably going to have to bring her in by force. He couldn't arrest her, but he had more than enough information to at least bring her in for questioning, or, if she resisted, then he could go in for the arrest. He sighed in annoyance, shaking his head, already trying to play out how he had to have it go down in his head.
'A disobedient Quirker attacked an on-duty cop, and the cop was unable to solve the issue peacefully, and had to resort to violence to bring her in...' Akamaru couldn't help but chuckle at the idea of it all. The girl needed to learn her place, one way or another. Maybe today wouldn't be such a terrible day after all.

Akari was trying to live her life peacefully, within the stipulations provided on her by her oh so caring father. Akari was interested in just living day by day, trying to get enough money to afford a background check and a month's payment for living on campus at UA if she was able to afford it. Unfortunately, she was getting roped in to all sorts of antics in these past couple of months. Someone tried to steal the money she had worked hard on getting, and she had to beat them up for it. She had passed out a few times on the street, been taken to the various clinics by passerby Good Samaritans. Most importantly, three heroes had interacted with ehr, but hadn't tried to arrest her, it worried her.
Though she was pushing it to the side for today, for she was on another street, this time playing her harmonica, just enjoying the time she spent playing her little song that would get hand outs from people. Little did she know that she had already set in motion the beginning of events that would lead to her ultimate fate: success in life and freedom from her abusive and distant father, or a life of fulfilling the prophecy of what her parents said, a fire spouting demon that was destined to only burn things.
SHe would be interacting with many a people, many a character, people that wanted to see her fail, people that wanted to see her succeed. Deep down, she just wanted her own sense of peace, but refused to be that selfish, no matter how much it hurt. SO she would continue to peacefully play her harmonica, looking to have more people give her little hand outs that amounted to less than twenty US dollars, nothing grand, but, far from being terrible.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here “A small, homeless girl in a firefighting suit seen across numerous places in Tokyo…”
Aeris Leon read the tip from the Hero dispatch briefly as she sat on her motorcycle. She smiled a bit as she read that at least she seemed to be surviving, even after she moved back out with her own house. Honestly, thinking like that, she could not blame her. How many other kids have their own mansion where no one tells them what to do. But from what she had been able to find out, it wasn’t paranoia if someone was actually out to get her. Word on the street was there was a kid playing the harmonica a few streets down from her that was somewhat decent for her age.
Kicking her motorcycle into gear, the chaser was hot on the chase swerving through the city streets. In her normal outfit with a black helmet and her long white hair flapping in the breeze, she pulled up alongside a police car that was on the scene. Fifty Fifty shot on if he was going to try to bring her in for playing on the street instead of being in school or was actually decent. Parking the two wheeler along the side of the street, the fairy heroine strolled up the side of the car and bent over a bit to wave and smile to the officer. This was also to see his intentions before anything. However the name tag rang all sorts of alarm bells in her head. Officer Himura.
“Konnechiwa Officer-san.” The French accent was light as she spoke Japanese to him, despite not using the correct method of names. She knew it was last name and title, but she did not want to let on that she knew his last name should it come up. Plus it played the foreigner card a bit, despite her being a Pro-Hero who was in the police station at least once a week. “Quote a lovely song huh? She seems to have some practice and talent. Wouldn’t you agree?”

Akamaru watched intensely as Akari played her harmonica to the busy crowds. He scowled slightly, partially wondering if he could take her in for public disturbance. Technically, it was very much against the law to do so, so he could take her in for that reason alone. Bah...damn kid, only causing more trouble for himself. He still waited, though, to see if he could really see a chance to kick it into high gear or not. The moment anything happened, which wasn't uncommon in any place of Tokyo, he'd step in and swipe her on the spot for assault. Anything to prevent her from getting the peace she didn't deserve.
He was broken out of his thoughts as he heard a rather familiar voice to the side of him. He only glanced over at the hero that appeared to the side of him. Aeris Leon, the hero Fantasy. His expression was neutral, but he felt a twinge of disgust towards the hero. He had never liked the idea of Pro Heroes. They were just glorified Vigilantes with a license, taking away all the credit from cops like him. Which meant less money. They were allowed to use abilities they weren't even supposed to have, just so they could make hard-working Quirkless people like him's life harder.
"Leon. What brings you around the area, eh?" he asked, seemingly polite, though the obvious lack of any prefix was rather notable. He didn't respect her, so he felt the need for any sort of fake respect was unneeded. The heroine went on to say how the harmonica music was rather pleasant, and that Akari clearly had a lot of talent. "Not a fan of harmonica. Hurts my ears," he replied dismissively, not giving her much attention. He really just wanted her to buzz off and mind her own business.
However, after a moment he would eye the hero warily. "Why are you here, anyway? The report didn't call for Hero assistance. She isn't causing any major harm to require that. At least, not yet," he asked, looking rather annoyed at her presence. It didn't make sense to him. Why would a Pro be here at all? Did Akari fill her head with lies? He still kept an eye on Akari, watching what she would do. He almost wanted her to notice them, for her to be reminded that he was always watching her.

She was still playing her harmonica, minding her own business, people handing out little donations here and there. And when she was done, people clapped, and went on their way. There wasn't a lot of money here, but, there was enough for a meal. She didn't have the skills of a virtuoso. SHe didn't have the experience of someone famous. SHe just did whatever on the harmonica that sounded good. It turned in to something of a song, and she got little pocket change hand outs of it. ALl in all, it totaled up to thirty US dollars. Enough for three quick mart meals! Yes! SHe had plenty to live off of for the next couple of weeks.
And it was under the amount that officers would bother her about. No one would question who she stole money from, and, she sorted through the plastic cup with a hungry smile on her face. Her stomach gurgling as she hadn't eaten in a couple of days, the girl needed to eat, her body trying to go through the changes of maturity, but, lack of nutrients stunted her growth. Being along on the streets with no parents, she had no means of eating well regularly, no means of being medicated for problems regularly, how she lived day to day was anyone's guess, maybe it was collective pity of people that looked down on her? She was fine with that, she had her secret spot that she had her cardboard house in.
Of course, all of her contentment and joy seemed to instantly drain out of her face as she looked up and noticed two people. One was that nice fairy lady that helped her the other day. The one that got her to understand that her quirk burnt away necessary minerals for her body to operate! And then there was the man that embodied all of her fears, paranoia, and thoughts on why she wasn't worth the time of anyone in the world, her father. Her eyes went big, her pupils went tiny, and slowly, she would reach for the cup with money in it.
No sudden moves, nothing going on, no one in her way. SHe would try to pick up her money and slowly get to her feet shakily, ready to run for it. And if any sort of movement was made from Aeris or her father, her quirk would flare up in rabbit mode, and she would bolt off faster than a quirkless human could keep up with, trying to get away from that man or any other patrol officers he had in the vicinity. Her fear of him so great she would even drop her money on the ground and cause a distraction if need be, but, she needed the money to afford a simple sandwich. SHe didn't want to upset her father, she wanted to prove she could buy her way in to UA without being a villain, she wasn't a villain, she didn't want to be a villain, her vision was going in to tunnel mode, and her thoughts were racing down and down the rabbit hole of inadequacy and fear.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here So he knew her name that made things better, dropping her accent and speaking in fluent, plain, and natural Japanese, Aeris crossed her arms to look and smile to Akari who was a bit of distance away. She was almost delighted in the question he asked of her. "Why am I here, Himura-kun?" She stated as she noticed Akari's expression. "Well since lying to a police officer is a crime under the articles of justice, here's the truth. You know I am a chaser. I take down villains on the run. I ran into this girl here nearly a weak ago. A man in a convenience store tried to take her money she had worked hard for, chased her with a weapon, and I was only able to calm her down after she collapsed from hunger." Her turning step back towards the car, put her path parallel to the police car, but she stayed still. Hips just in line with where the front and back door met, a few scant centimeters apart.
"Now she did not tell me anything important, just she was tired and hungry." She then looked right into the side mirror to Akamaru's eyes. "And what type of adult would leave a child alone, on the street, weak and hungry?" She let the pause drift there. A full yet subtle knife towards the heart in an attempt to see if he had one. Her right hand, which was opposite the Officer, hidden by her curves, gave Akari a thumbs up. "Since then, I have been chasing down information through my channels on who could have done something so horrible, most convicted of it get 15 to 20 years in prison for it."
Aeris had no qualms steppin between a villain and a victim, even when the villain wore a uniform. She had just recently returned from being a fugitive herself, framed for something she did not do. Name cleared in courts, but there were others who did not look at anything outside this city. It was these people, she was still working to clear her name with. She could feel the pain Akari felt somewhat. False accusations, a fear causing her to look over her shoulder. Children should not ever have to deal with that.

Akamaru scowled ever so slightly as the heroine explained her position as a chaser, and how she had encountered Akari not even a week ago. Apparently, a man had tried to steal the money that Akari "worked so hard for." It was clear from the expression on his face that he didn't really believe that for a second. The guy was probably trying to get back his own money that Akari stole, letting the heroine believe that she was in the right. Bah, damn kid...always just an annoyance.
She then explained how she was tired and hungry, blah blah blah...give him a break. It wasn't his fault she was nothing more than a menace. She attempted to make him feel guilty by making the obvious point of how anyone could leave their child alone and hungry like that. He looked right at her for a moment, his face emotionless. "She's no child of mine. Why should I care?" he said flatly, looking away as he said so. He ignored the rest for her crap, thinking that he wasn't doing anything wrong. Why would he think as such? He was just putting a potential threat in her place. Nothing more, nothing less.
His eyebrows went up as he noticed Akari slowly begin to back away from the area. He gritted his teeth in annoyance, mostly towards Aeris than anything else. "Get out of my way!" he growled as he quickly got out of his car, shoving her out of the way if need be. He would then take off after Akari at top speed. "Stop in the name of the law!" he exclaimed, feeling a bit like a tiger chasing after prey for a moment. He refused to let this monstrosity get away from him. Not this time. When he got his hands on her...she would regret ever being born, to say the least.

Man, i wonder how Akaris doing. Red'd think as he aimlessly walked the streets of Tokyo. Why was he aimlessly wandering? Well, he had been cooped up in his room for days working on the zephyr prototypes, and now that they were done he really, really needed to get outside. He'd spent the last couple days just enjoying the freedom of the outdoors. He'd have just hung around Mustafu but, in his mind that place was a little too small, atleast that what he told himself. The actual reason he kept coming to Tokyo was to see if ran into Akari again. It'd been a while since he'd met her at the library, but an attempted bribe from a cop and finding a girl who has to use a quirk that could kill em to run away from said cops sticks with you, ya know? He did his best at the time to help her, probably getting on whatever cop was after her's shit list, but as long as she was alright then he didnt really care all that much about that.
Still, he'd had no dice most of the time. Tokyo was a big fuckin place, and since he didnt exactly have a frame of reference for where Akari hung out most of the time, he was pretty much looking for a needle in a haystack inside a hay factory on the coast of mexico. All he had to go off of was what she looked like, the fire fighter outside and the humming. Maybe if he got lucky he'd hear something close to the humming she'd been doing in the library, or spotted the Hi Vis fire strips of her outfit but what were the odds of him just accidentally finding her in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo life? Pretty fuckin low, probably.
But Apparently, he'd get lucky today. As he rounded a corner, deciding between whether searching by walking or skating would be better, he'd spot a familar sight down the street: A little girl, in a fire fighter uniform, playing a tune that sounded faint, but oddly familar. He blinked a couple times to make sure he wasnt seeing things, but he'd finally found her. He couldnt believe it. Instinctivly, he looked checked around, just to make sure that nothing bad was about to happen, as much as he couldnt believe his luck, he also didnt believe that his luck would let him find her scot free.
And lo and behold, what would he find but a COP watching after her too. There was some lady talking to her but he couldnt tell who either of them were from here, but a quick look on the plate seemed to indicate that it wasnt the same guys as last time....hopefully, maybe their car was still in the shop for some reason, who knew. He also couldnt tell what they were saying, but it didnt seem pretty considering the fact the lady was blocking the door.
It seemed Akari had noticed them too, if the fact that she was had stopped playing and was slowly getting up to leave, probably shaking from either exhaustion or fear.....he couldnt tell which, it might have been both. He'd start none chalantly walking down the street, hopefully the fact that the lady was keeping the cop occupied would give Akari time to leave unnoticed but he didnt wanna count on it, just in case.
Unfortunatly, she wouldnt get so lucky today. After a few seconds the cop would notice, pretty much throw fuckin his door open into the biker ladies face to knock her outta the way and give chase. Akari, naturally, responded by activating her quirk and running for it. He wasnt sure what the lady did, but hopefully she'd be able to deal with the cop. As for Red? He activated his skates and went straight after her. If the lady hadnt done anything to him, or even if she had, Red'd very, very subtly just kick the fuckers legs out from under him as he blew past him to get to Akari. He had to go fast, considering how he still thought her quirk worked. Fuckin Prick. He'd remark in his mind as he boosted past.
"Hey Akari, you need a hand?" He'd ask if he managed to catch up to her in time, offering a hand again.

Yep, it happened, she was being chased, she was being hunted down. Her father had had enough, at least it seemed that way. For Akari, she feared this the most. She didn't want to upset him, and here he was, publicly yelling at her. Not as a father to their misbehaving child. But to a cop to a criminal they wanted to blast with a full clip and a half of bullets, and then claim it was in self defense. SHe was meandering through the crowd as fast as she possibly could, trying not to bowl anyone over. Of course, people were here to help her. As hard to believe as that was.
Aeris was here, but, at the moment, she thought Aeris was against her. The person that was here to really helped her, tried to attack her father, Red, the boy that had saved her and taken her to the maze district. SHe beamed a smile at him despite the fact that tears flecked off of her cheeks as she ran ahead, but it turned to worry, "Get away from me! Just, go away!"
"He's gonna be mad at you and he's going to cause you problems! He's gonna make things harder for you because--just, go away!" SHe shouted at Red, wanting to keep him from getting roped in to this, already though, he had likely bought himself a world of hurt on part of that attack from having tried to assault her father. The man was a captain of an entire district of Tokyo for crying out loud. It was going to be a hell of a day. Maybe, just maybe, there was a small sliver of light of hope for Akari to get out of this without being arrested, shot, or becoming a villain. Maybe, maybe somehow, there was a way to get out of this with her getting to go back to living in the boxes? Yeah, that's the best case scenario she thought about at this moment.

“A small, homeless girl in a firefighting suit seen across numerous places in Tokyo…”
Wagyu’s stomach tied itself into knots of dread the moment he read the report. Akari had gotten herself into trouble again. The last time he’d seen the girl, she’d been half-dead from all sorts of mineral deficiencies, and after some initial treatment she’d run off before he could stop her. He’d looked all over for her after that, but to his dismay he found neither hide nor hair of her. So, her resurfacing in a manner like this? Not a good sign at all.
He was already patrolling in a different part of Tokyo, so it took him longer than he would’ve liked to get anywhere close to where she’d been last spotted. The sound of a man yelling alerted him when he was close. “Stop in the name of the law,” huh? If that is who he thinks it is, he got the feeling that this wasn’t exactly within the law. Wagyu didn’t even have time to blink before Akari barrelled past him, running as fast as her malnourished legs could carry her.
And, right after, a boy he recognized as well. Reddarcc Hunter. The kid who’s fight behind a ramen shop Wagyu had had to break up. Afterwards, he’d found out the boy’s name from the UA sports festival; it was a shock that he’d gotten in, but underneath the combative attitude, it was obvious Red wanted to help people. It seemed that’d dragged him into another awkward situation with the law, helping Akari evade the police and perhaps, her father in the process.
Clad in his hero armour, Wagyu was concerned Akari wouldn’t recognize him. So, rather than running after her as well, he simply called to her as she rushed past. “Akari! Red! Keep going!”
Then, he stepped into the middle of the road, where he recognized her pursuer. Indeed, it was the man he’d read about. Akari’s father. Wagyu stood as tall as he could, making it clear he had no intent of moving aside, and yelled to him, “Excuse me, sir, what crime has that girl committed?”

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee These are the actual law and articles Aeris looked coldly at the officer for a moment. “Why should you care? The Act No 164 of December 12, 1947. Chapter 1, Article 1. All citizens shall endevor to ensure that children are born and brought up in good mental and physical health. Article 2. The national and local governments shall be responsible for bringing up children in goo mental and physical health, along with their guardians. In short, it is literally the law. You are to uphold.”
However she was cut off the car door slamming into her side. It pushed her out of the way, but it seemed she wasn’t the only fairy Godmother watching after the Fire bug. As a blue blur went past them and hit him low. A quick look. She recognized that golden mop of hair under a beanie anywhere. Red. One of the second year students. And then a sudden wall stopped in the officer’s way. Wagyu. She had heard about him before, but it was something different to actually encounter the living minotaur.
Slowly, the living fairy walked up behind Akamaru and helped him to his feet. “I do hope you are alright after such a callous sucker punch.” She dusted his uniform off and then looked to the fellow pro-hero with a smile. This was only a momentary pause before Aeris launched her self up with her knee aimed right for the bottom of his jaw. Quite a forward and ready attack against a Uniformed Police officer. “If one is to attack a villain, one must do it the right way. To their face where they can see. Regardless of the costume one wears, a villain never escapes the Pro-Heroes of Japan.” Aeris could have shifted to any other form, but whe dealing with humans, she stayed human. No matter how monsterous their hearts were.

A kid. A fucking KID tripped him. He didn't know what was more infuriating, that fact alone or the fact that now suddenly three people were now interfering in his business.
Akamaru only barely managed to catch himself before he landed right onto his face as the moment that he had stepped out of his car, a sudden blur rushed by him, and tripped him in the process. "Wh-!" he stammered, a bit shocked by the action. It felt like a gust of wind had knocked him over, even though the kid didn't even seem to get that close. Unauthorized use of Quirk...fun. Whoever that was, they had suddenly just gotten themselves into a world of hurt.
He started to get up and resume his chase, when suddenly a wall blocked his path. No, not a wall...a minotaur, the hero Wagyu. Great...another damnable Quirker. He growled in annoyance, angry eyes turning towards the behemoth that dared stand in his way. "If you don't get out of my way right this instance, I'll-"
He was cut off by the sudden patting down by Aeris, who almost seemed like she was trying to help him. However, this thought was quickly proven otherwise as she then suddenly hit him in the jaw with her knee, sending the cop sprawling back on the ground. He spit out blood, dazed for a moment. He shook with absolute rage and anger, glaring daggers at the woman who had assaulted him. "I'll have your job for this, Leon...!" he snarled, pulling out his radio and speaking into it.
"This is Officer Himura, requesting backup in Tokyo Square. Three Quirkers, two of which are Pro Heroes, are interfering in a police operation. Requesting backup immediately!" he bellowed, glaring daggers at the two Pros that stood in his way. Damnable Quirkers...always a nuisance, always causing problems, even when they're supposed to be the ones helping. It was actions like these, in Akamaru's eyes, that are the reason they aren't treated like people. They're nothing more than abominations and disobedient weapons to be used by humanity...and now look where that thought got them.
"If either of you value your jobs and what little freedom you have, I highly suggest you stand aside before my boys get here. You do realize there's not much tolerance for these kinds of actions, don't you...?" He said, an evil grin forming on his face as he waited for the heroes to stand down. While he waited, several cop cars quickly filled the area, one of which speeding down right towards Akari and the other Quirker, aiming to detain them as quickly as possible. The other few would spill out officers, all of them pointing guns at Aeris and Wagyu. This was the way things were, and they needed to remember their place...one way or another.

Akari continued to run, running for her life from the person who gave her life. It was a sad thing, when you think about it, well, you don't even have to think about it. Here she was, bolting through the crowd and making her way down the street, as fast as she possibly could. While people were coming to her aid. People she didn't want to help, because if they were actively helping, they'd get in trouble with her father. And she was looking to get away from it all while her father called in back up, getting the two heroes that supported her surrounded by officers. Meanwhile, she and Red were being chased down.
It was during that time a news van passing by would be getting a look at all of this. And who was inside, well, a reporter that was in the know with several vigilantes around the city, Bashira having tipped them off from their previous encounter. Akari had been making plenty of friends and allies, without realizing it. And, now that it was dawning on her, she wanted to scream at them to go away and leave her alone, because they were causing problems for her by trying to be nice to her, which her father didn't want for her.
She was scared, scared of that man. What did she even do to deserve this? SHe didn't use her family name any more, she didn't tell people she was related to him or her mother. Was it still because of five years ago? She was starting to tear up, finding it hard to see anything in front of her as she fought back bursting in to tears while the exhaustion from her quirk was already starting to set in.

"Well, i already kicked that guys legs out, so if im gonna get in trouble anyway, i'm gonna help as much as i can. So no, im not leaving. Cant just bail on you now, can i?" Red'd tell her, a smirk creeping its way up his face as he said it. He didnt know who that guy was, or why Akari seemed more terrified of him than the other cops from last time, but Red didnt really care who he was. He was doing the same shit as the last guys and seemed like a bit more of a prick about it, so Red felt not one iota of remorse about knocking him over. Knowing cops he'd probably assume it was his quirk and try and book him for that, but Red'd just lie about what his quirk actually did. The Wind Aura came in useful sometimes.
Seemed like he wasnt the only one rushing onto the scene though. See, as he'd tried to get to Akari, he'd passed a very, very familar face. He couldnt remember if he was wearing the outfit last time they'd met, but if you knew that he was a pro it would be very obvious who it was: Wagyu, that Pro who went by King Taurus. For a second Red thought he was gonna chase after em, being the pro that he was, but...he just let em go. Even told em to keep running. Thinking about it made sense, considering he'd let him and Brandon off when they fought over a bowl of ramen last time they'd met, and she he knew Akaris name.....maybe he knew something about her situation. Probably more than Red did, considering he had access to records and stuff. Still.....Ah shit how does he know my name? Only way he'd know is the sp.....sports festival....fuck he saw that didnt he? He'd realise, and want to die inside remembering how Darren had carried his ass through that first day.
Plus, looking back, he realised who the lady blocking the door was....it was his english teacher, Aeris. He was now realising that maybe she knew something too....and that he was gonna get in deep shit if she recognised him. He'd already skipped her class once to help Akari out...not that she knew anything about that as far as he was bloody aware. He just hoped that the beanie that he NEVER WORE USUALLY and the hoodie did enough to cover up who he was.....but then again the goggles and skates would probably make that obvious....but, plausible denibility, right? Either way, she had the cops attention atleast, considering she just up and knee'd him in the fuckin face. Red started laughing in his mind, this guy was gettin fucked, it was hilarious.
Unfortunatly, the cop didnt find it funny himself. He looked like he wanted to murder someone, which was an understandable reaction to getting hit in the face, even if he was a prick. But, instead of actually doing that, he'd call in something to his radio, and within a few minutes the place lit up with sirens. Most of em would head over to the two pros, everyone pointing their guns at them. Red felt kinda bad about leaving them behind, but he kinda had too, considering there was a car coming after him and Akari too....and closing fast with how fast the two of them moving.
Realising that it was really getting to that time where he'd have to exit the scene, Red would knock his goggles down over his face to give himself a little more plausibly deniability. "Akari, We gotta GO. You mind trustin me again? And no, before you tell me to fuck off, im not leaving you here on your own." Red'd ask, giving her the choice of whether or not she wanted to get out of here. But, after a few seconds, if she was still hesitating, Red would just grab her hand, pull her into a princess carry again, and speed up to his max, heading for the nearest alley. "SORRY MAN, WE GOTTA GO!" Red'd shout back at the two pros. He had to apologise somehow, he might not get chance later.
This would probably leave the cop in the dust, for three reasons: First, it was the middle of the day in the middle of Tokyo, traffic was probably a bitch. Secondly, a cop car had to abide by some traffic laws, for example, staying on the road and not running over regular people. Red didnt have to do this. Thirdly, Cop cars couldnt change direction erractically like he could, they had to abide by the laws of physics. A couple quick direction changes out of nowhere, and it becomes really easy to lose someone tailing you.
During this whole stunt, he failed to realise the passing news van, that would probably be recording atleast some of this encounter.....he just hoped that they'd not been able to make him recognisible, on account of the beanie he NEVER WORE, the hoodie and the goggles. He'd already gotten in shit once for this, he had to make atleast some kind of effort to not get caught again.

It was almost not a surprise when Akamaru dodged his question. All it did was confirm his suspicions, that this chase was not due to a regular criminal infraction. As he was used to with cops of this type, Akamaru immediately jumped to an attempt at intimidation, which to someone almost twice his height and triple his muscle fell on deaf ears.
“I’ll ask again, sir, what crime has this girl committ-” Before Wagyu could finish asking, the other pro hero on the scene cut him off. Fantasy. Aeris Leon. He wasn’t familiar with her, beyond knowing she taught at UA, so was almost ready to accept that she would side with Akamaru. Then, she kneed him in the jaw.
No matter how much he hated Akamaru, Wagyu had had no intention of assaulting the man. He knew how the law was to Quirkers, especially mutants, and though he was loathe to admit it, fear would’ve kept him from acting. It seemed Fantasy had a little more confidence than him. Only made sense that a UA teacher would.
Unfortunately, Fantasy’s bravery threatened to bring the both of them down. Within minutes of Akamaru’s hateful call for back-up, the pros had been boxed in by cop cars, and were surrounded by police with guns drawn. Wagyu lifted his arms into the air slowly, ensuring he didn’t make any sudden movements, but kept his eyes on Akamaru. He didn’t break eye contact, even knowing how many guns were aimed directly at his head.
“I’m sorry, Captain Himura. Perhaps you did not hear me in the rush.” Wagyu fought to keep the rage out of his voice, and he almost succeeded. “Now, about Akari Himura. What crime has that girl actually committed, to warrant this level of armed pursuit?” He pronounced the girl’s name very deliberately, placing emphasis on her family name. He wasn’t certain on the relation, but it was worth it to try.
Worst comes to worst, he’s not the only one with a Quirk here.
