Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse It wasn't as if she was disappointed, in herself, in the whole setting, she just wanted it to be fixed, she just wanted it to be better, over and done with. She wasn't sure what to say or think and what she could do. The thing was that she had forgotten, not entirely, but so many things have happened, she had no time to think about everything and yet it was important. She could not be everything everywhere and yet she wanted to throw the papers of her second research away, smash the instruments of her work away from the table, throw them away but that would not work. There was no time to sit down and think about what she all could do, she could only be at one place at the time but there was so much going on. The news had died shortly about the fires after they bumped into the one who did it. Together with RedHorn but it wasn't over.
It did return and she could not be there to help, to fix it, the answers of the hospital were still so strange and vague but she could not be there. She had to work, she had to teach, she had to be there for the internships, for heaven's sake. She never felt so frustrated at once. She was waiting for her intern to show up for today, she had no idea what to do and how biased she was. After all, as usual her life would bump into the lives of the Hajimaris again and as she had been there to save Haruuhi, and as she had been there to save the live of her brother's and soon, she would continue to hopefully help them. She wasn't so sure what more to expect of her. Her schedule was free for the rest of the day and she would hopefully be okay to go around town and see if they could bump into issues. She wasn't sure what else she could do, she could not summon evil around, or villains. She wasn't sure if she need any other training in the ways of the art, her father would take care of that. All she knew from their class was that Haruuhi was interested in First Aid, so first aid she would get.
She did not plan to have a class about it right now, she had given some first introductions about it, she would fix it, they would find someone else she would take her to the hospital to practice what she knew already by standing by, observing and trying. That could be an interesting thing to do. |

A knock came at the door of the Nurses office as Haruuhi had finally arrived. She was dressed in her hero gear, her helmet tucked under her arm as she wasn't quite sure what to expect from this internship. So far, the Pro Heroes that had taken her on were all over the map! They all had something different to teach her and she really wasn't sure what to expect from Nimue. She probably could have come in her school uniform of gym uniform, but if she was jumping in to help someone, this was probably the easiest outfit to maneuver in.
"Nakahara-sensei?"
Haruuhi called in as she slid the door open, peeking inside and smiling at the green haired maiden as she stepped inside.
"I hope I didn't keep you waiting, I'm really excited to be interning with you. Thank you for the opportunity."
She said politely, bowing her head traditionally before standing up straight again. There wasn't much she could do but wonder what they would do together. Maybe they would be visiting a hospital or clinic or something to practice some medical skills? Haruuhi didn't intend on being a field medic, but she wanted to know how to safely stabilize her fellow heroes if it was needed in an emergency. Some form of backup...

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Luckily for Nimue she wasn't easily to scare when it came to sort of jumpscares and so on, she did not jump up, throw things around thanks to the surprising knock on the door. Yes she had expected Haruuhi to show up any minute, that might have helped but also the teaching with her spirits and their sudden show ages ago was probably what had helped as well. Hm, that was an interesting story for another day but right now she turned around and looked happily up at Haruuhi, dressed in her hero gear already, that was very well done. "Come in come in, let me finish up this bit." She was working on something while waiting and quickly saved the document after finishing her last sentence and cleaned up the little bit that was around her office and putting her mug next to the sink.
What a polite girl that was, surprising sometimes with G around but Nimue smiled brightly, "I am glad you accepted." She said happily as well and offered for Haruuhi to sit and put her helmet on the table that was there, she was glad to see that someone was interested. "So before we are going out, I would always like to know what you want to learn, because not everyone has to be interested in everything what I do." that's why she sat down, with the intention of not lingering in the office, she would not offer any drinks now, which felt a bit strange for something she normally do. She would take her to the hospital, like she did with the others just to get a feeling of the atmosphere and what she could do more, now that was without knowing the interests of Haruuhi, she would still do so but she would continue to go and patrol and see if they could find anything (although Nim always hoped they did not but there would always be moments) and they would see in what kind of situation Haruuhi her quirk would be helpful. |

Haruuhi walked in when she was invited, closing the door behind her and standing by it hesitantly. She didn’t know all that much about Nimue to be honest, and really wasn’t even aware of her and G working together as of late. She’d chosen to focus more on her studies and herself lately that a lot of these things slipped her mind. She’d gotten in trouble too many times for meddling, so now the only time she meddled was to make sure Kai was safe.
Nimue seemed happy that she accepted to intern with her, and haruuhi just nodded in response… but then Nimue asked what it was haruuhi wanted to learn, and that one was honestly a tough question for her. Lately all Haruuhi wanted was to get stronger, physically stronger and stronger with her quirk so that she could never end up helpless again, so that she could overcome her new drinking habit and get out of that negative fear induced spiral. So… what was it she hoped to gain by doing an internship with Nimue-sensei?
“Well… As strong as I try to be, I’ll never match the likes of the hero class students. I thought instead I should focus on what I was best at, and that would be tech and support. I don’t really need help with the tech aspect of things, I’ve been living with it my whole life after-all… but what I do still want to learn is support. Since I won’t be the heavy hitter in battle, I wanted to be able to just do more, you know? I can be the center of communication, guide a battlefield where it needs to go… but I feel like I still need to be more diverse than that. I feel like I need to be able to help a lot more if that makes any sense? If I can get a better feel for the support side of being a Hero, then maybe I’ll prove to be more useful in the future…”
She explained hesitantly. It had been awhile since Haruuhi felt so self conscious about herself, but when it came to her future as a Hero… it brought out the old Haruuhi, the insecure girl who wasn’t sure about anything.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse So she had a plan for today but patroling did not always involve that what you want to teach and with a support student surely went different than with a hero student. One would be surprised that Nimue had gotten hero students for her first internship as well or well only. This time she seemed to be more on the support student round. But to fill in what someone wanted to learn, she had to ask, so that's what she did and she wrote down what Haruuhi said. Hm, she mentioned no specific first aid. On her notepad Nimue wrote down support and tech, well tech she won't be able to help in but luckily that's not what she was here for. Her answer was still kind of vague and Nimue thought about it. "Do you have any thing specific that you want to do in that case? You mention what you can do but is there something you wish to learn? I know what I can do, I can teach you things about first aid, you went to my classes, we can consider defense techniques." There was so much the girl could still learn but where did she want to go, or did she pick Nimue because she was the closest to fitting in the support area instead of combat, maybe and if that was the case the teacher wouldn't be offended, it was playing a strategic game.
She thought about it, the pen she was holding touching against her chin, hmm what would be an idea. Centre of communication was a good one, she would be able to direct and inform the first responders such as herself, she would be doing that and the battlefield, a lot of things she could do for sure. Haruuhi was versatile but not according to herself versatile enough. "Or do you want to be the one figuring it out so you could sort of instruct the heroes to go to a specific location?" A sort of commander role maybe, it would not be in the field itself, it would be guidance, by giving the heroes that what they needed maybe. It was definitely a good question to wonder about and Nimue did not regret asking, she hoped Haruuhi did not feel bad for her questions, maybe the teacher needed to point that out. "The reason why I ask is because it is your internship and I want to give it to you, so I try to figure out so I can try and stir it in that direction." Like she did with the others but their answers had been perhaps a little more clear.

Whenever Nimue first spoke about what Haruuhi wanted to learn from her, haruuhi honestly found herself at a loss for words. What DID she want to learn from Nimue? First aid was always helpful and she felt she might be doing a lot of it if she filled in the support role... but it didn't have much of anything to do with her quirk. All she could do in that scenario was search up the proper ways to administer first aid on the spot. Not really what she wanted to be doing at the end of the day... Though defense could be pretty useful too...She brought her hand up to her chin, though as soon as Nimue mentioned instructing the heroes she immediately perked up.
"That! Yes that! I think being able to instruct the other heroes and guide them through the scenario fits what I can so perfectly. I can already create a radar with my quirk that'll help with that, and I can easily make bluetooth earpieces to communicate with everyone. I do want to learn first aid and defense too, since I don't think I"ll ever be involved directly, they'd be useful skills for me to have."
She explained with a bright smile now on her face, ready to show Nimue anything she could do to better determine the outcome of their internship.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse It wouldn't always be the easiest to think right now what you want to do for your future. Especially if your future still looked far gone before anything else. She would have a year more to finish the hero school and besides that, had Haruuhi not swapped from the hero course to the support course, hm Nimue suddenly wondered why but on the other hand her explanation of the quirk might make sense for that. She had a minor idea about what Haruuhi would want to do but it would be difficult to teach her that, as Nimue could not adapt into the quirk that Haruuhi had. "That does sound like an important job." A radar, that was very useful, and she thought about it some more, "Can you make that map with your radar, so you would know where the heroes are and how to guide them through the streets to get at the right spot?" Because hell yea that would be amazing, she had not even a clue that she was using words she should not when looking at her religion but she didnot care for now. She nodded, earpieces that was nice.
And she nodded for a third time, "Yes, I do think its important to be versatile and be of use, in a way that those that will do the combat can depend on you not to get into trouble or be in the way of them, which is a very important job." But she had to think now, her speciality was, of course, medical and she could teach Haruuhi a few things but she would also just come to first aid class so it wasn't immediately necessary. Her defending classes could be taught at her father's new gym so that was also not something she immediately needed. Hmm, where to start. "Well I thought about it for a few seconds and most of the stuff I can teach you are not that interesting or not specifically only for the internship. So what if we just go out and patrol for a bit and see how it works out, that sounds rather dangerous and flaky but I am sure you would do fine, I mean you can't really patrol without your teacher so that's why I offer it. In the meantime we can talk about what you would like to learn when we look into the details of first aid and defence acts, right?" So they could set that up for another moment, maybe later today.

"I probably can eventually. Right now it's kind of one or the other, I either need to make a map of the area with the radar, or use it to track where everyone is. I can either trace their earpieces or their phones so that makes it a little bit easier. "
Haruuhi clarified with a bright smile on her face. She was always a sucker for praise, lapping it up like a starving puppy. She'd gone without for many many years before she became a part of G and Miku's family.
From the hallway, you could hear a light yip as robodog peered inside, tail wagging from side to side in excitement. The excitement that Haruuhi was hiding, seemed to be funneled directly into robodog who was so insanely happy right now, judging by the constant THWAK of his metal tail against the door.
"Calm down boy, I know I know"
She shushed him, patting the dog on the head then ushering him back out of the room to wait for them by the door. She promptly apologized then let Nimue continue on with a plan on where the two should start. Another patrol! She loved going out on them, never had she done the same thing twice which really broadened her experience on the field. She offered a smile and a nod at her suggestion.
"I would love that! I want to try and see as much as I can!"
She stated happily, taking her helmet in hand once more and replacing it on her head, hitting the left side button to open the visor so that they could still look at each other eye to eye.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse As the girl seemed to be excited, though very good at hiding it, Nimue looked at the dog but it was just the fact that she seemed to be up and ready when it came to moving out that Nimue had a slight idea of her excitement and simply smiled, "Do you have everything with you?" She said after the visor disappeared and they could still talk, "It is important to use our alias for safety measures of course, mine is Witch Doctor." As the girl probably already knew but since Nimue was not so hyped on the names within the school, she even accepted Nimue-sensei it was probably important to state that she was that person. She smiled and listened to Haruhi her name before taking her own red cape and hiding her hair in a bun before putting it over her hair and clip it together, it was not the best way to hide her face but the hair was surprisingly a big factor with how much you looked like yourself. She strapped the first aid kit at the outfit that she wore and continued to gather the rest of her stuff and close off the infirmary. She would leave the key with Hatsumomo downstairs when they were ready to leave.
"Your dog helps with your quirk as well?" She asked to have a conversation while they headed out of the school once ready. It was important to just learn from each other as she had said they could discuss it while they were walking around. There might be nothing interesting going on, the tasks that Nimue had worked on had cooled down a bit so she wasn't entirely sure what they were looking for, but it was her job and she wanted Haruuhi to enjoy being outside and enjoy a patrol so to say, it would be an experience as well if nothing happened. She should maybe have said so but she was rather curious to what Haruuhi herself would bring up, if anything at all. She would see, it would be just a conversation after all, she wondered if the family was doing fine but she did not dare to ask. There was so much going on that she barely had seen G even if she supposed to train with him, Haruuhi probably was doing fine in her own defence classes considering who her father was. Where to start?

Haruuhi said happily as Nimue-sensei introduced herself by her hero name. She got goosebumps just thinking about going out on a plain old patrol. She had been out with Hellhound on an actual mission already, and that had been super fun, but so far she'd only been out once with G and she'd been forbidden from getting involved then too.
She was just as happy to follow With Doctor out of the school once she got changed into her Hero guise, putting down her own visor to obscure her face... not that it mattered since you could easily recognize robodog at any point. Speaking of, Nimue asked her about him and she smiled from behind the visor, her voice now coming out of the speakers in her helmets ears.
"I use robodog as an extension to my Quirk. I programmed him with an AI but I can also control him, see through his eyes, hear through his ears, you name it. I'm also not really the best fighter, so he takes care of that for me."
Haruuhi clarified as robodog walked behind the two girls quietly. His ears shifted at the sound of his name, looking up for just a moment before looking around them once more. He was walking in perfect time with the girls, much akin to a police dog on a job.
"I can't say I've gotten to test out his full efficiency yet though. I've run a bunch of simulations and tests but it's a whole different thing to be out here using his skills, you know?"
She asked, glancing back towards the dog, her smile never fading. She was proud of her creation, and every time she saw his body or worked on his outer framed, she just thought of her family, Hanna specifically and how much love the woman had for her. She'd gone out of her way to save his black box, and then even bought her the parts she needed to build his outer frame... he was more than just the combat aspect of her quirk, he represented much more then that...

Nimue gave a short laugh, "I like that name a lot." It fitted perfectly, how nicely done. She was going to have to figure this one out on the go. And she wasn't even sure if she was ready to do this compared to the others. She was a healer but that was not what Haruuhi wanted and so on. She was just curious and tried to think of a plan, they would get to it in the end. So she smiled as Haruuhi was done with her hero gear and her helmet made her speak from the little speakers, interesting, that surely helped with staying invisible, the dog though, that might look too obvious.
"That's a very interesting thing. Also very good to know where you come short, I do the same." The training in the past has helped very much. The thing was that she was rather happy that she might be able to do something, "There is an art in knowing how to defend yourself and getting away unharmed, that's the best." She could maybe work on that, but she was not sure what to do considering G could do so, but maybe it was sometimes better to get training from someone that wasn't your parent. "We could look into that later if you want to." She looked at her student, who knows but she looked at robodog for a second again as they walked out of the school building and they would go on a patrol.
She nodded, skills indeed, "There is a time for everything eventually." There was a lot to train and to do, and as Mia had said before, the students would be better because they got the training. She smiled because Haruuhi did, it was nice to see how happy and proud the girl looked. "So did you have any other internships before and how did that go?" She would walk on, there was a lot to do and she was walking on, there might be something that they bumped into. Until she heard the sirens and she stopped walking. Normally she would react quicker but the past things that happened in the summer, the moments she could not protect the innocents returned, no, not right now, she would be able to fix it. She noticed the firefighters, "Well, let's see what we can do, right?" She asked Haruuhi and quickly looked at her before walking a little quicker after the sound.

Haruuhi loved the fact that Nakamura-sensei just... understood her? It was one thing to be a hero, but another to be a support hero. You had to cover a wider area of expertise, know a little bit or everything to really be successful. She wasn't very strong on her own, so she needed to make up for that. The way Nimue spoke, she felt like the woman had to go through this very same thing when she was growing up too. It made her smile to know she wasn't the only one who was, or had, struggled with this.
She followed the woman silently, absorbing her words like a sponge, answering her questions with just nods or shakes of her head until she was asked about any previous internships. She nodded her head again before speaking up once more.
"Yep, one. I went with Hellhound on an anti riot mission. We got to learn a lot about tactics and a lot about how to deal with the public in a crisis situation. It went alright, made me think a lot of what happened last year at that festival, when that kid lost control of his quirk. When I get to use my quirk to control a situation and guide other people... I feel like that's when I really come alive, if that makes sense?"
She asked of her teacher as they walked, stopping when Witch Doctor did and looking back to the sounds of the sirens. She could already feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins as it looked like they would be moving towards the scene! Nimue suddenly started to move much faster, and to let the hero really sprint into action, Haruuhi leaped up on top of Robodog, the mechanical beast being able to move much faster than she could and keep up with Nimue's pace.

It was inspiring to have this meeting or internship with Haruuhi. She was actually curious to both the girls, she had meet Miku more often and of course, she had both in her biology classes but to see the difference between them was interesting and the support student was maybe more up her alley than the hero student. She wished they focused on the same as that would make it easier to teach but she would find a way. So they talked about the other internship that Haruuhi had, ah Hellhound. Nimue had not had the pleasure of meeting Hellhound yet but who knows what the future brought to her. "Public in a crisis situation, that is a great thing to learn about." She looked at Haruuhi from the corner of her eyes, "Last year?" She frowned, the kid that lost control of his quirk, what? Had she missed that or was her memory playing parts? Wow, she was too young for that for sure.
But as the girl continued to talk there was something that Haruuhi asked her for. "Yes it does, and it's nice you already found your niche of what you could do. For me, it's really focusing on healing people, so I understand exactly what you mean." She smiled and that's when they walked a little more and heard the sirens and Nimue pushed Haruuhi to come with her. They had to hurry and they had to be fast. They soon reached the end of the alley that they had walked before, the apartment building that they looked at was smaller than the ones before and she stared at it. She had to unfreeze, she had to do something, move, go, reach the people. She stared at the firefighters. If she would stand here much longer, she would not make up for the other mistake of two months ago. Move.

As Haruuhi and Nimue reached the fire, Haruuhi's eyes grew wide as she watched the flames engulfing the apartment complex. It was obviously difficult for anyone to get in or out of the building, and Haruuhi found her heart pounding a million miles an hour as adrenaline started to kick in.
"Sensei. I can use my quirk right? Sensei!?"
She asked of her teacher, speaking louder to see if she could snap Nimue out of it and get a response. Whether she answered o r not Haruuhi immediately leaped into action, extending her left hand towards the building and calling out.
"Robodog, get in there and follow my directions. Sir? I'm taking control of the radio for your men in the building. I can tell them where the civilians are!"
She yelled at the nearest firefighter who would promptly relay the message as needed. Meanwhile, robodog busted through the main class doors of the building, disappearing into the fire as he ran inside. Haruuhi closed her eyes, hand still extended as she sent out radiowaves to the building, and through robodog like a radar, creating a map both within her head, and on the HUD of her helmet.
"Looks like the first floor is already clear boy. Head on up. Fighter 1, there's a child in the closet! Don't leave them behind"
She called out into the highjacked communication line. She probably should have waited on Nimue's instruction, but the adrenaline was pumping fast, and she felt she just couldn't wait. She was going to get punished for this for sure but... she just had to help...

Nimue need to unfreeze and quickly. The closer she got to the building, the more she realized that the issues she dreamed about being over, being far from over and she stared at it. She finally got snapped out of it when she heard the second time Haruuhi called her sensei. "Yes, yes, of course." She said quickly. She looked at the firefighter, she had met him before and he nodded at the two of them, "Any information already, sir?" She asked keeping her eye on Haruuhi while talking to the firefighter, she needed people like Haruuhi and her dog to work this out, not people like her who froze and thought the worst of themselves. Right, she talked quickly with the firefighter, as long as Haruuhi herself did not run into the building it would be fine. She had to do something when she realized what the girl would see. The lifeless bodies. She turned to look at the commander, he knew as well when he noticed she turned pale. She knew that a hero and a student for that as well would eventually bump into it. But not yet, not now, not under her watch.
But that's when someone screamed she tried to immediately detect where the noise was coming from. It was a woman, not far behind them watching, pointing at something or rather someone on the balcony of the second floor (ground floor, first floor, second floor), that was quite high enough. The person did not seem to look panicky or something and the woman screamed again when the person went to stand on the railing of the balcony. The firefighters that were outside the building got stuff ready for the jumper but it was for some reason exactly what Nimue expected. "Get Robodog back. We leave it to the medics. That's our culprit." It wasn't the same as last time, but that only made it now maybe easier to follow this person. She looked shortly at Haruuhi before dashing off towards the building but taking the burning hot alley on the side, it was dangerous, she knew, but she wasn't going to let this person or the group of criminals escape for the many times they had and for the second time that she was on time. Mia and she herself had not been able to control and find the pyro, but this one, this one had a different quirk, hopping like a hare or something, it knew what it was doing. Maybe Haruuhi could follow it easier, she hoped that the girl would listen and she felt a pity but this would prevent it, "This isn't the first fire and if we don't stop the organisation, it won't be the last." With those words, she hoped to convince the girl that what they did remain to be done for the greater good.
There was just a lot of things going on and she would not blame Haruuhi if she was overwhelmed, she would have been herself. But she could not let this slide, she have to find them. In the end, there was no one to follow and Nimue focused with Haruuhi on the rescue of the people in the building. This wasn't the same accident, she later learned from the police officer that was there and the firefighter understood Nimue's issue, she had met him before. But they had found no dead bodies, everyone was safe, it had been an electric issue and they were glad that the two of them had shown up. She smiled at Haruuhi, her fine quirk worked wonders with this issue. "Well, I hope that was an experience for you."
