Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Only bumping into each other while on training jobs or any other jobs made Nimue feel that it was rather rude as they could not really speak about anything and she decided to ask him for a dinner, which made her really nervous now that she came to think about it. After their last meeting she had casually asked and had not been nervous, no stuttering or stumbling over words and now she facepalmed herself, it had probably been the adrenaline of the training or so that she had no idea how bad it could be. What would they talk about, they were pro-heroes, they could not discuss their daily job in the casualty of the citizens, who knew some might be even a villain, it was ridiculous that she thought that this would be just a casual okay thing to do. How stupid.
She was casually dressed, she had tried to put no obvious work into it, she wore an easy pair of dark blue jeans and a black top, the weather was good enough to not bring a jacket and she still had not bought a vehicle even if she wanted to for ages, but not having a house and now having one surely took a while to get her finances on the right track again, she was paid perfectly with being at Yuuei but that still did not mean that she would swim into the money to buy a motorcycle or anything and maybe she should work on that license first, she did not want to take things too much at a time, she had no time for this, so the metro it was.
When she arrived at the restaurant that she had picked, it was the first one that had crossed her mind and it served pizza, she wasn't sure if it was okay for Tony, to her pizza could never go wrong but that did not mean that it was a stupid teenager place that she basically picked, albeit at this point it did not seem to be too busy and she looked around through the front door as she waited at the front step for her colleague to show up, what would she talk about, oh god she felt like she was invading privacy and maybe throwing herself too much into the idea of making contact and so on that she would be bothering people. Why was she doing this?!

Being a hero was not just about stopping crime or saving lives. To Tony, it was also important to get along well with others. Whether it was the citizens, police, or fellow pro-heroes, it was important to build and maintain trust. If he could, Tony wanted to get to know all of them better. Obviously that's impossible, but it wouldn't stop Tony from trying anyway. Besides, there was nothing wrong with wanting to socialize with fellow heroes while not on duty, right? In any case, if anyone ever extended an invitation to him to come have a fun time, then Tony was not one to say no.
Which was why when Nimue Nakahara invited him for dinner, he would gladly accept. He wanted to spend some time to get to know her better, and not just fighting robots or dealing with annoying crying robot babies.
Seeing as this was just a casual outing, there was no need to dress in anything fancy (even though Tony almost went with a fancy suit anyway). So instead, he went with a more casual outfit. A short-sleeved white shirt, black pants, and black shoes. The weather was nice enough that Tony decided not to bring his jacket with him. Getting into his purple sports car, he drove to the restaurant to meet up with Nimue.
Upon arriving and parking his car, Tony noticed Nimue already there waiting for him. He had hoped to be the first to arrive, as he would not have minded waiting on her if she were late. With a warm smile, he greeted the lady. "¡Hola, señorita! I hope I haven't kept you waiting long." Tony had no idea how long Nimue was here. He did leave his place early to ensure that he would make it here on time (well more like two or three minutes early, but same thing). Still, leaving a lady waiting for any amount of time was quite rude.
Upon seeing the kind of restaurant the two were in front of, Tony smiled. "Ah, so we're having pizza? Excellent!" Tony may not be super rich, but he was definitely loaded. Still, that did not mean that he always ate fancy dinners literally every night. Quite the opposite, in fact. He tended to enjoy things like pizza more than fancier types of dishes.
"Please, after you." Of course, Tony would do the gentlemanly thing of opening the door and letting Nimue walk in first. Because why not? Once the two were inside and seated, Tony figured that he could chat for a bit first before ording the food. "So how's your day been?" Sure, he could talk about himself, but he wanted to learn about Nimue first.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Oh she must be bothering him, this was why she tried to avoid to talk too long to her colleagues and she might be pushing them away but she could not expect them to have time for such casual outings while they had classes to prepare, villains to catch and so on, no she could not do this, this was stupid, why did she ever come up with such a thing! And with pizza of all things, this was for teens, and starting twenty-year olds.. wait she was one of those but that did not matter! She had maybe ruined it the whole ordeal and she nervously moved back and forth on her feet as she waited for Tony. Which felt like an eternity but in the end was really only a few minutes. The good thing for her, the reason why she was so early was that traffic had not been too busy and well she might have overestimated how big the town was because one point from musutafu to another point in musutafu was not that far away as travelling to Tokyo, stupid. She should have known. She turned when she heard his Spanish words, getting a bit more used to it after meeting Tony a few more times it was funny how quickly she turned her heel. "Hello Tony, it's good to see you." She realized a little late that he asked if she had not been waiting too long, "Ag, no, I think about three minutes?" She obviously had not checked her watch but her panicking had not taken that long even if it felt that way. Now came the truth that she went to pick an Italian restaurant and she hoped he would be totally fine with that, it was just the first thing that had popped into her mind. But thank god he said the word excellent the moment he noticed where they were. She took a deep breath out of relief and smiled happily, "I am glad you like it, it's a really nice place." Especially when it was not so busy so she followed Tony once he stepped to the door and let her walk in first and she greeted the person within there to ask if they had a table for two.
Hectic Nimue forgot to reserve a table. But they had a spot free! She took the menu casually and held it in front of her yet closed when Tony asked her for her day, that's exactly what she wanted to ask him but he was first. She smiled though, it felt a lot less bad than she had thought it would be and her panicking side subdued a little and you could see the tension in her shoulders leave. "It's well, with summer holidays around I have a bit more free time than usual and tend to focus on the little internship we have and the research I do for the hospital. I mean it sounds like a lot but it's what I like to do."

It was a shame that Tony did not know Nimue's thoughts. It wasn't a bother at all. In fact, he was more than happy to be here and spend time with his fellow hero. It was an even bigger shame that Nimue had told him that she had been waiting only about three minutes. To her, three minutes may have been nothing. But to Tony, three minutes was three minutes too late! It was unforgivable! If he needed to wait on anyone, then it was perfectly fine, no matter how long he was kept waiting. But the reverse was not true. He would never be okay with making someone wait on him, no matter how long or short the amount of time. That was just what Tony was like.
"Yes, I've heard about the good reputation this place has! It's a shame I never really had much time to come eat here with how busy I usually am. So thank you!" It was rather sad that Tony did not have much free time to himself. But that was just how the hero life was. And while he had long since accepted the fact, it did not change the fact that even heroes deserved to enjoy a break and have a good time every once in a while.
That was what Tony loved about the summer. A bit more free time compared to the rest of the year. He listened to Nimue as she spoke, being fascinated upon hearing of internships. He knew it was a thing certain pro-heroes were doing, teaching certain UA students various aspects of a pro-hero's job so that they knew what to expect when it was their turn to shine. In truth, Tony was intrigued by the idea. Perhaps he would also decide to take on some interns. He was more than happy to teach anyone who was eager to learn, though he would not tolerate any slackers.
"Well it's good that you do things that you like despite it sounding tiring. It's not often that we heroes get much of a break. Completely understandable, as it's just the way things are. Still, it's good to be able to enjoy the job. And who says we can't do so?"
A quick glance at the menu, and Tony needed to resist the urge to drool. ¡Todo esto suena delicioso! But then a loud growl was heard. Despite being hungry, it was not the sound of Tony's stomach. No, it was a sound that Nimue would not be able to hear. No one would be able to hear it except for Tony. You hungry too, amigo? Sadly, he could not just summon Centaurion inside the restaurant. There were rules and laws to follow. So the beast would sadly have to wait a while.
Tony then quickly looked away from the menu and back to Nimue. He did not want her to think that she was being ignored. He chuckled a bit. "Sorry. It seems that Centaurion is hungry as well. But he'll have to wait, as I can't summon him here. I'll just order extras for him for later." It was strange how the two were linked, yet also not connected at the same time. But now was not the time for that. He was here to have a good time with Nimue.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She was so happy to just meet others and be okay, she wasn't sure what to say, she did not mind anything. Not be in people their way or to bother them, it was a lot of things but she was the one who did not want to bother anyone. "I am glad to have brought you here." She was also glad that the reputation of this place was going far. It was but a small place when you compared it with some of the giant restaurants in Tokyo but she was sure that this one was doing far more better. She was excited, "Also you need to take time for yourself, hard work is important I know that, but it must not make you lose your health or anything." She said worried, as a friend for sure, she smiled at him and even if she was barely living up to her own words, she knew that she should try from time to time. That's why she had recently go to the hot springs at the Elysian garden, it had been a nice encounter for sure and she would have to do such things more often. It was only an hour or two, but that could be enough. She went to sit and held up the menu but put it down when Tony spoke to her and she smiled, telling him about the internships. "Oh definitely, we have to find something that is fun to do, something that is a motivation and something that makes us go on." She smiled, "Doing hero work for me is something that makes my life have a meaning. The fact that I can help others, surely makes it that way." She wasn't sure how else to say it but she looked up from her own menu when she heard Tony apologized and she smiled and made a soft chuckling sound. "The menu can be sure distracting." She looked up when she noticed someone in the corner of her eye and she looked up at the waiter. Surely the black uniform looked nice and she noticed that when she looked up that he sort of looked at her and she blushed a little. "Buongiorno. Are you ready to take your order?"Oh she looked back at the menu, she wasn't sure if she wanted to order pasta or pizza yet, but she knew what pizza she liked so she looked at Tony, "I already made a guess, of what I want, do you?" Depending on his answer she would order a red wine, hoping it would be a good one and the pizza Margherita. When the waiter left them, she gave him one more look before turning back to Tony, "Centaurion doesn't eat or feel like he has eaten when you do?" She was surprised, she could not have asked with the waiter close to them. "I am glad I don't have to feed my spirits separately." She smiled, she wasn't sure what else to say, but yes if he would have to order double or maybe take some of her left overs, that would be fine.

Nimue was right. It was important for Tony to take some time for himself and to not lose his health from working too much. It was not just to avoid the stress. Centaurion was also a very important reason why Tony needed to be in good condition. After all, the two were linked, so if Tony suffered, so did the beast. And when the beast suffers, well... it's a good thing that Tony has so far been able to keep Centaurion in check. After all, an angry rampaging beast was not a good thing for anyone. But that was not something to worry about right now, as Tony was careful not to overwork himself too much. Still, he did not want to relax too much either, since it would be very easy for him to do.
Despite being distracted by Centaurion's growl, Tony did not miss Nimue's words. He agreed with her words. It was indeed important for a hero to find something to motivate them to keep them going, while also finding it fun. And just like Nimue, Tony found meaning in his life in helping others. "Yes, exactamente! To me, heroism isn't just a job. It's its own reward! Don't get me wrong. While I do appreciate the paycheck, seeing the smiles of the people I save is far more satisfying at the end of the day." To Tony, money was not a big deal, and not just because he had quite a bit of it. True heroes did what they did not for fame, glory, or money, but because it was the right thing to do. It was clear that Nimue was one of those heroes who understood that, and that made Tony appreciate her all the more.
The waiter then came, asking if the two were ready to take their order. In truth, Tony really wasn't. There was just so many good choices to choose from! But he did not want to just have whatever Nimue was having, as that would just be rather lazy of him to do. So quickly choosing a few delicious options on the menu at random, Tony placed his order while pretending that he knew what he wanted to get all along. "Pepperoni pizza, a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, some chicken wings, and some red wine, por favor."
After the waiter left, Tony listened to Nimue's question regarding Centaurion. "Sort of. He technically doesn't have to eat, as he's sated whenever I am. But he does prefer eating meals himself. And with my quirk's drain and all the exercise I do, I usually have to eat more than the average person. So I just figure it's better to let him eat whenever he wants to." Tony then chuckled. "Plus, he'd hold a grudge if I didn't let him eat cooked meat himself. He can be stubborn that way sometimes." A loud snort heard only by Tony. It was clear that Centaurion had heard that.
With Nimue's mention of spirits, it got Tony curious. "So what are your spirits like, if you don't mind me asking?"

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse It was not entirely fair for Nimue's own point of view how she always seem to worry about others but not listen to the advice others would give her. There was enough things to do and to think about of her own stress levels and ehr own need to know what she was doing and right now that was not doing the right thing, she was all over the place, school, research, patrol, everything and she would soon have that trip with the first years, her internship with the second years, well thank god the third years weren't a thing yet. But maybe by taking care of others and worrying about them in this way, she herself was taking care of her own stress level, after all this was just as much a break for her to get munchies as a break for Tony and it made her smile. "I am glad we agree on that." She laughed, yet that paycheck had surely come in handy when Oz had set her up for a lot of things, she wasn't so sure what to do or think about it and if that was wrong but now that she was on her own and could basically do whatever she wanted, it surely became a lot easier. "It would be especially fantastic to be on time and to do what ever is necessary to fix it." The way she said whatever might imply she would do anything but she would not, she wasn't even capable of doing everything but she meant in her own department, healing, protecting, like she did with the robots, protecting those civilian robots and the baby. Saving the baby of her best friend, things like that. "Do you think we have a few that do it for the money instead of the reward of the job itself?" She asked, it was more out of curiosity and slightly a bit of worry, she wouldn't be surprised, she might even have one on the tip of her tongue but she would not say so out loud and if Tony would say yes but no names, she would not ask, she just wondered about his thoughts.
She looked up at the waiter with a smile as she ordered and waited for Tony to do so as well. "We are out of meatballs." The waiter almost seemed annoyed, "And chicken wings." And she looked up a bit worried from the waiter to Tony, "We do have pasta bolognese. I recommend that for you." And she gave a small smile to Tony considering that the waiter knew something for him as he left them shortly after that, her gaze shortly following him before turning to look back at Tony, "Chicken wings are sure tasty though." But she would wait for her pizza and ask Giovanni if he had an answer about how Centaurion worked in a way that she could understand. She could not help but grin a bit as it sure sounded funny with the way he said it, but she nodded, "Boy am I glad that the other three don't have to eat, spirits are surely easy for that." She giggled herself now too and looked up a little surprised, no one ever asked her about her spirits, "Ag, they are very different, I possess three spirits that help me to well fight crime, Nkosi is my most used one, she helps me ehm how to say, fight bacteria and heal wounds, so the chance on infections is really small, surely to me it is a blessing." she had lifted up her hand now with one finger up, moving up her middle finger as a second as she continued, "Iwayo she is a lil shy girl, that's why I didn't spoke much to you during our first tasks but she makes my skin change, a sort of hard metal sense over it and that makes it easier to protect someone or something." she moved up her last finger, the ring finger, "And last is Uphondu, he taught me fighting techniques together with a friend of mine but surely his hands and feet or well mine then become a lot more powerful to throw punches, which I don't really like but well in this world it sometimes is necessary." She gave a wry smile, that's the best she could explain her power and spirits with.

It was good that Nimue was one of those heroes who felt like an actual genuine hero and not just a thrill seeker or fame hog. Tony hoped that none of the pro-heroes were in it for selfish reasons. But he could not be sure. After all, he did not personally know every single one of them. Though if he got to, that would be pretty nice. "I sure hope not. That'd be terrible."
Tony did a double take when he heard some of what he just said. Meatballs? Chicken wings? I never said... He even made sure to look thoroughly at the menu and knew that neither of those things would be served in an Italian restaurant! So why... And then Tony sighed. Centaurion, of freaking course. With how much the beast liked meat, he would no doubt voice his desires for those, even going so far as to trick Tony to try to get some. He would need to have a mental chat with him. But first. "Of course. Sorry for misspeaking. The pasta bolognese sounds excellent. I'll take that." Great, now the waiter probably thought Tony was an idiot. Maybe Nimue as well. It was fortunate that he was pretty much indifferent on what others thought of him. Otherwise, he would be very upset right now. Well, hopefully a far more generous tip than usual would make up for the blunder? If not, then whatever. The damage was already done.
Chuckling, Tony turned to Nimue. "Ah, one of the many benefits of having a roommate inside my head that could alter what I see and say and make me look like a fool as a result. I swear, Centaurion is like a child sometimes." Shaking his head and sighing, he then asked her. "I'm guessing you never have to worry about scolding your spirits? What I would give to be able to summon something that could behave all the time and wasn't so stubborn." A loud growl inside his head that only he could hear. "Please give me a moment. I'd rather get this mental conversation out of the way now. Sorry." Smiling, Tony closed his eyes for a bit as he began to speak with Centaurion.
Meatballs? Chicken wings? Really? Not very subtle of you, amigo. Did you really want them that badly to the point where you made me see something that was never there? The beast growled. Centaurion hungry. And meat is better than boring pasta. What kind of restaurant serves spaghetti but not meatballs? That makes no sense! Tony mentally sighed. We visited one American restaurant in the past. One! That doesn't mean that every restaurant is going to be like that one. The beast grunted. Well that's stupid! That's just the way it is, amigo. Give Italian a chance. I promise you'll enjoy it. The beast grunted. Fine, Centaurion hopes Italian meat will be worth it, then! Well just behave yourself! I'd rather the rest of the day go without incident!
After that, Tony opened his eyes and sighed. "That idiota sometimes, I swear. Anyway, please forgive me, Nimue. I promise Centaurion isn't always like that. And I promise I'm not that foolish." Well he did have his moments, but none were this level of bad.
Blunders aside, Tony listened as Nimue talked about her three spirits and what each one did. Nkosi was the one whose power was healing. Then there was Iwayo who apparently provided Nimue with defense. And finally Uphondu provided offensive power. "Ah, very interesting! It's nice how the three help you out in different ways. I can already tell that your teamwork is a lot better than mine." Tony rolled his eyes. "Centaurion means well, but he is pretty much the definition of a wild barely tamable beast. Don't even get me started on those times he decides to be so stubborn that he literally won't show up when I try to summon him. Though we do make a formidable team when he does feel cooperative."

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She agreed on that, she actually thought that should be something the government kept an eye on but she did not want to be that mean, she did not want to cut out anyone that she had met before or heard about, some were obviously very well doing their job and that's why. You should not judge a person on that maybe. It was a difficult and delicate matter and she was glad she had not to worry about it apart from just a random question to her now new-made friend. So she had nodded and they would continue to order food.
She looked from the waiter at Tony and back and it seemed to have gone better and she gave a wry smile, more because she tried her very best not to laugh and as the waiter left she looked curiously at Tony because what was going on. As Tony chuckled and explained what happened she had to laugh a little while he shook his head and she put her hand against her lips to hide her grin, "Sorry, it sounds funny." But it could be obviously not funny at some moments, in this restaurant there would not be any problem but it was rather funny in her opinion for this matter. "They scold, they mean well but that's just to me, they can't say anything unless I am using their power." He had maybe noticed that when she was fighting the robots at the first instance that her voice was a little different as Uphondu had spoken, but it was more a fusion of them together, she was still there. She had once been not there, which was when Uphondu spoke to Goliath. She nodded when Tony asked for a moment and she went to look around, her eyes falling on the waiter again shortly before averting her eyes and simply looking at the decoration and if she could see what other people had ordered.
She looked up when she heard Tony sigh and gave him a small smile, and a quick response when he asked for her forgiveness, "Of course." She did not really see it as a problem, with quirks you would never know but new things like that were truly fascinating.
So they continued the conversation and told about her spirits. She nodded, she giggled a little. "It's just because you can't hear them scolding." Which made Uphondu grumble as he did not want to be compared to the centaur. "But that's really fascinating though," She looked at Tony, "Summons for everyone could be so different, I mean I can imagine it can be very frustrating when he doesn't show up but you both were very impressive in our training session."

"No, I don't blame you." It certainly was funny. At least Centaurion had the sense to never screw around with Tony during a serious situation. Now that would be a nightmare. "Still, it would be nice if he could at least ask first, rather than going through the trouble of making me look like an idiota in front of people." Tony then shrugged. "But hey, things could be worse, right?" Yeah, like the fact that very rarely, the beast could, under very extreme circumstances, go on a wild rampage and become a raging and uncontrollable creature of destruction. But no need to bring that up and cause an unnecessary panic.
So apparently, Nimue's spirits could speak and did scold the lady, but could not do so unless their power was active. Well that was interesting. Tony wished sometimes that the same applied to Centaurion, only speaking when needed. Though that was only when the beast was being stubborn and intolerable. Any other time, he was actually pretty reasonable.
Yes, summons were vastly different. Centaurion was definitely one of a kind, and despite the crap Tony would sometimes have to put up with, he would not trade the beast for anything in the world. "Yes, Centaurion is like family. Sure, we have our disagreements, and sure he can be incredibly annoying and stupid at times." The beast could not help but chuckle from within Tony's mind to interject. Pot calling kettle black. And this made Tony roll his eyes for a moment before he continued. "But he's still my irreplaceable partner and the closest thing I have to a brother. And when he puts his mind to it, he can do great things." Not every team was perfect. But hey, at least Tony was doing his best.
"But enough about me. Tell me more about your quirk, or just yourself in general. You were very impressive back in that training session too." Tony was far more interested in listening to Nimue. He was sure that she had a lot of interesting stories to share.

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse She snickered a little more but yes it would have been polite to ask. "Maybe we just had a grumpy waiter." She said though she really doubted it but maybe it was just a custom service thing, would she be happy if they had mistaken her culture? Probably not. She smiled still and nodded, "Definitely but I like to always think about the positive thing. I mean the waiter now made up something he might like." She said happily and she was rather curious about the quality of her pizza, she didn't eat pizza often, if she went for a quick snack that wasn't healthy she would go to a drive-through or the store but now she was here and that was fun. It was nice to learn more about other pro-heroes. She told Tony about her own quirk and that they do not speak unless she was channeling their powers which was an interesting feat if you ask her. She was actually quite fascinated about it and almost told about her encounter with G, but she did not want to bring the vigilante into trouble so she quickly knew how to shut up without making it seem that she wanted to say something. It did not seem that Tony had noticed as he spoke himself again.
She nodded, she wasn't so sure if she would call her spirits family but on the other hand, they were, they were more a part of her. If she had different personalities maybe? And yet they were there whole being. It was definitely a strange thing she had not considered really before. She nodded and she leaned on her hand, eagerly listen to Tony, that was very fascinating as well as the fact that even if he just insulted his summon that he made bigger compliments. Probably that worked for all of them though Tony was the first case where she heard that the summon simply wouldn't show up which made it only more interesting.
She gave another warm laugh when he asked about her, "Hm I was just thinking about it but I wouldn't call my spirits family, they are there, but they are very important to me, a part of me definitely. I try to focus on healing but I am glad that I have the other two as well. I tend to want to focus on healing but we heroes might not have that sort of luxury I want to say. It is necessary to be able to defend yourself." But yes she definitely had picked the aspects of healing at first.

"Hm, perhaps." Tony did not really have anything new to add there. Though he would wait until the food arrived and he could have a taste before judging whether or not to feel bad for Centaurion's actions. Hopefully the wait would not take long. But then again, Tony would not mind if it did if it meant getting to converse with Nimue a bit longer before having to eat.
But enough of what he thought. Right now, Tony wanted to listen to more of what Nimue had to say. So he listened as she spoke. Apparently, Nimue did not see her spirits like family as Tony did with Centaurion, but rather she saw them as a part of her. Which was fair. ¡Muy interesante! Technically, Centaurion was in a similar sense also a part of Tony. But he did not see it like that, due to the beast's very distinct personality.
Nimue then explained that while her focus was on healing, she was glad she had her other two non-healing spirits. As she put it, it was necessary to be able to defend oneself. Heroes did not have the luxury to choose not to. Tony got that. Having fought off many villains of different kinds, there was one thing that tended to be very common among these scoundrels. Whenever a healer of some kind was involved, the criminals would go after them. It was basic strategy, shooting down the medic first. It was cowardly and despicable, but that was just how it was unfortunately. Though thankfully, Nimue was anything but helpless from what Tony had seen. It was good that she could dish out the pain just as well as she could treat it.
"Yes, you're right there. It's a shame that these criminals always go for the healers, trying to interrupt their very important work. Such cowardice disgusts me! But I'm happy that I don't need to worry about you. Any villain who tries to attack you will immediately find themselves regretting it."
Tony then smiled. "But it's great that you can heal and fight. I'm sadly limited to the latter. I almost envy you a bit there. I'm good at what I do, but I do wish that I can do more. But hey, no hero is completely perfect. As long as we do what we can, that's usually more than enough."
He wanted to learn more about Nimue, wanted to listen to more of what she had to say, but it was quite alright if she wanted him to talk more about himself now. If she wanted to know something, he would be more than happy to answer any question she might have. Or perhaps the food would arrive soon and the two would eat first?

Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse Maybe positive thoughts helped for everyone, its what normally helped Nimue through her day, especially if it was a bad one. It was just very interesting and fun to talk to others and she did not want anything to ruin that thought or the setting. The waiter could maybe have done nicer but maybe it had to do with culture, she wasn't sure if it was offensive and she absolutely did not want to bring it up. So they talked about quirks and she could listen to Tony about Centaurion and tell about Nkosi, Uphondu and Iwayo herself, which was an interesting talk and an interesting well way to talk, she always sort of felt she had to hide her quirk but not with Tony and she could try to look at others around them but they were pro-heroes, it should be fine. She even explained her focus and her dream. It was just, she had wanted to be a doctor but she could do so much more now. Even if she disliked her mother's discipline and the way she was raised, it brought her far.
She nodded, that's another reason as well. "The thing is I can't really do both at the same time, so people like you are very necessary for the protection part." She grinned and laughed a little. She might suggest for Tony to learn some first aid, it was for some wounds very important to put pressure on or something, to keep people talking and active. She could not underestimate the importance of that, but it also felt a little weird to push that. "I agree, no hero is perfect but I think we could make an effort to make a step towards that picture-perfect for as far as we can. And you do, we all have our different focus and job and that is completely fine, I think it's even better. We can't be everywhere all the time as long as the organisation knows where we go or what we can do when we show up, it would work."
As if they waited for her to lean back a bit, she got into the conversation and leaned forward, they brought her pizza and the pasta that the waiter had made up for Tony. She looked at it, wow this pizza was way too big for her alone. She would maybe convince someone else to try a slice hehe. As the waiter left, she immediately turned to Tony, "Is that why you became a hero though? To do what you can for others?"
Without much further incidents from Centarion the two continued their dinner and getting to know each other better by talking instead of fighting robots and defusing bombs. Nimue had a lot of fun and when the night was over she thanked Tony and looked forward to see him again. She could definitely use some more friends instead of always focusing on her job. She would see what her new adventures would bring her but she had someone she was sure she could depend on.
