It was no secret that this was the dangerous side of town. Underground markets, deals made in alleyways, people beat up on the street and left for dead. Even the police had trouble handling the area, and that was saying something pretty large. For a world where officially licensed heroes and vigilantes still ran at large, that only meant that there were plenty of villains for them to face. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a need for so many people striving to do the right thing because no one else would. He had to wonder, just how many people had a more worthwhile reasoning for all of this? Maybe someone experienced a crime right in front of them and realized they could have done something to stop it. Maybe someone else lost someone important to them, and deemed it not only necessary, but a requirement of them? Just how many people had something more than... he wanted to be one.
The question had boggled his mind for quite sometime as he stood upon the rooftop. His face exposed so he could breathe freely, Lucas let out a long sigh as he seriously considered what he was getting into. Was he jumping into all of these shenanigans simply because he was some foolish kid following after the stories of his childhood heroes? Comic books, mangas, and even sentai shows weren't exactly realistic despite his best intentions. The good guys didn't always win, sometimes people got hurt. It wasn't until he was actually standing atop the rooftop that he started to have second thoughts. The nerves were starting to get to him. He slowly let out a long sigh, closing his eyes for a brief moment. Maybe... His original intentions for this wasn't the most noble. He wanted to be a hero, someone people respected and protected the weak, sure, but it was all still based on those shows he grew up watching. It wasn't exactly heroic to just want to mimic television.
But it was all about the hero's journey. The literary device where the protagonist must actually grow, develop, overcome adversity before he got what he wanted, and finally change along the way. Being so well versed in literature, he could understand that. At some point, he was going to have to make a genuine decision if what he was doing was for the actual betterment of society... or if he just wanted to play with the big kids. At the very least, he needed to give it a shot. Whether he failed drastically, or never was able to show his face again, at least he could tell himself that he tried. Giving up just when he finally had everything in place would cause him to never forgive himself. The night was only getting later and somehow, Lucas was able to convince himself to stop just being anxious and actually do something for once.
Standing upright properly and stretching out his back, Lucas's eyes glowed blue for a moment as his mask quickly shifted and shut tight. The blue light shining through the mask itself before eventually dimming. Villainy never rested! So neither should he! Always remain vigilant, he told himself! Whether it was the brightest of days, or darkest of nights, his shining glow would pierce evil right in it's very heart! Already feeling instantly more confident with himself actually wearing the suit properly, Lucas mentally flipped the internal switches to activate the speed-boosting capabilities of his suit. The tech was beyond him, but it was surprisingly easy to find materials and technology with no questions asked when he simply had money to spare. That... also sounded like a different problem for another time.
His eyes suddenly glowing brightly as Lucas activated his quirk, he kicked off the rooftop and simply began to run straight down the wall. His quirk was oddly suited for maneuvering through the rather intense concrete jungle that was such urban environments, and he loved every second of it. Actually using his quirk to explore, to freely patrol across the buildings and alleys was like a weight of society was lifted off his shoulders. This time, he would be the one enforcing the morally just laws. Protecting the people who deserved protection, defeating those who existed to bring harm. There was no time to waste. It was a big city, and sooner or later, he'd find something. Even if he didn't, his sheer presence would likely discourage a few from doing anything. Perhaps that was an actual, logical reason to attempt to be well-known publicly. Villains would know who he is instantly, and be intimidated with his very presence.
Still, there was work to be done. People to protect, a city to rescue from itself. The individuals in this side of town certainly weren't the most law-abiding, in any case. Jumping from one building to another from a wall that was close enough together, he quickly made his way back up to the other building and ran across the rooftops. His eyes trained down on the ground below, watching the alleys with precision care. While maybe most crimes happened inside buildings, places where he couldn't easily see. There was sure to be plenty of crimes that thought they were safe keeping to the side streets. Drug deals, burglary, even murder. While he had hoped not to run into anything that would actually prove a threat to his safety and someone else's, he entirely expected almost everyone who even lived near this part of town to know somewhat how to defend themselves.

Villainy, crime, evil, corruption, malice. They were all like the heads of the hydra. When one was severed, another head would sprout out from the stump, being stronger and cleverer than the last. It seemed that no matter how many people put a stop to villainy, no matter how many times villainy was put in its place, evil would always resurface. Peace seemed to be only a temporary thing, one that would not last long before a new villain filled in the void left behind by an old one. So why then would heroes (whether the legal ones or the ones who operated outside of the law) go so far to continue combating evil when such a thing seemed so hopeless? Why even bother? Because screw the villains! Why let them go around doing whatever they pleased with no regard to the innocent people they hurt? Why let them get away with their various injustices? To hell with that shit! This was the viewpoint of Kenshin. Despite technically being seen as a criminal in the eyes of the law, he did not see himself as such. No, he was a warrior of justice, one who would use his blade to protect those who could not fight evil themselves. No matter how often crime seemed to plague the nation, he would be there to cut down crime (though not literally, as he was no murderer). If anyone needed saving, Red Edge would be there. If a criminal needed an asskicking, he would be more than happy to deliver it. Not only that, but the boy's own parents were once vigilantes. Crimson Blade. Scarlet Shogun. Two names that were unknown to the public. As far as anyone outside the family was concerned, these vigilantes never even existed. The two had operated in secret, not desiring fame for their deeds. No, they were only interested in doing the right thing. Saving people, protecting the innocent from criminals, stopping bad guys. That was what a true hero was to Kenshin. But their crime-fighting days were long over. They chose to quit that life for the sake of their children. To be there for their two boys. Kenshin wanted to continue that legacy. To pick up where they left off. To continue the eternal fight of good versus evil. That was why he became Red Edge. Kenshin wore his usual cap and hoodie to hide his very distinct hair (since he still did not have a proper vigilante outfit, and he could not maintain the armor his quirk granted him forever). So far, everything was peaceful. Nothing to worry about. But the boy did not believe that would last very long. Crime never slept. Somewhere, there was probably a helpless victim waiting for a hero to come to the rescue. Or perhaps there was a scumbag or several causing trouble. Or both. Whatever the case was, Kenshin would not stop his patrol until he made sure that the streets were clean. He peered towards several nearby alleyways. There was sometimes a scumbag or several holed up in the alleys doing various illegal stuff. Kenshin began heading inside, to either make sure there was no criminal activity, or help put a stop to any that was there. In all honesty, Kenshin was fine with either option. Either everything was nice and peaceful, or he would get to kick some criminal ass. | Word count: 565

Yusuke had left the campus immediately after classes were over, and went to the subway station to use the small amount of money he had in his possession to get a ticket to Akihabara; with just enough left over for a ticket back to the academy. At least, that was his original intention for the afternoon, but fate was a cruel mistress that had other plans because a chain of events was already starting to unfold elsewhere with the blonde straight in the middle of it. He was currently wearing his now favorite summer attire consisting of a fitted yellow tank top with red boot prints in the middle with ON YA MARK! printed just below it, a pair of gray cargo pants that came to just below his knees, a pair of sneakers, a silver skull necklace on his neck along with a black spiked bracelet on his left wrist. The blonde hero-in-training had his nose figuratively stuck in a manga adaption of Gosei Sentai Dairanger, and he was more distracted than he should have been. As a result, he took a train directly to Kabukicho without realizing the rookie mistake he had just made. [break][break] When the train arrived at the stop, he continued to read the Sentai Manga nonstop until he looked up and felt disoriented with the atmosphere that was completely foreign to him. Yusuke continued to walk around with the manga in hand until he came upon an alleyway with a bar and a dead-end, which was a clear sign he screwed up and ended up in the Red Light District. "Shit... This is the last place I want to be. I better get out of here and take the next train back to Shibuya right now!" Yusuke cursed to himself as he spun back around and made a brisk pace back in the direction he came. However, chances were that he was too late and was going to attract attention anyway. Unfortunately, it had and some shady guys already blocked his exit and slowly approached Yusuke as he stopped in his tracks. Naturally, he could probably break past them with his quirk, but he was barred from using it outside of the campus grounds. It was then that more shady guys came pouring out of the bar with smug looks on their faces. He was outnumbered easily, and he couldn't get through this situation on his own while still following the rules. Before he knew it, he was completely surrounded in a very compromising scenario that pushed him to consider risking his own expulsion. Ironic how an honest mistake could just ruin everything.

"Well, I'm bored." Brandon groaned to himself as he leans on his motorcycle's side, looking at his phone. He has his visor raised up since he was doing some driving around, call it some casual sight seeing, call it patrol, any of those can work. But at the end of the day (well, night), he's just here to not stay inside his apartment. Kent's busy doing something, but the shop was open and that bike is for for him to use as long as he doesn't ram it towards a wall...soooooo, he called up Kent to let him know he was borrowing the bike. It's not like he uses it a lot. He just merely fixes it up for some damn reason. It's a waste of a machine, leaving it to rust in place.
Place he picked to take a small break isn't for the faintest of heart. No, this was all shady shit over here. Kids around this time wouldn't dare to enter here unless it were intentional or they were dumbasses. Or here for some good ramen. Or all three, like himself. Criminals such as low time thugs or medium sized families doing illicit deals here are common to the sort of shit one can find here. Other things include casual robbery, extortion, kidnapping, murder, the likes. The kind of things that makes Brandon grit his teeth and growl at. The worst shit imaginable, let loose upon these streets. And what can he do? he's just one man.
He's one man with power. Power to protect people. Power to aid those in trouble. Power to mock injustice and guard those in need. And power to make those actions into a reality. He calms himself down and places his phone in his pocket. Well, he's here, so time to make him eat his own words. What started off as boredom turned back into determination. A burning desire. Energy surging within him. He couldn't help himself but smirk underneath his helmet. He steps off the bike, grabs his briefcase, and starts his patrol of sorts. Sure, people might find this sort of thing weird: Why is some guy wearing a helmet and holding a big briefcase? Easy target, right? Right. That's the whole thing. Better to paint oneself as a target than let innocents be the target. At least he wasn't wearing his usual Vigilante helmet, right now he's wearing a gaudy plain dark green helmet laying around at the shop. It heavily mismatches his gold and black souvenir jacket. But while people are distracted by this horrible fashion sense, he can use that time to ready his scales. Any attempt at casual mugging or murder can only end in failure when it comes to Drag-On.
He looks left and right. So far nothing happening. With his luck, though, that will change. After all, unbeknownst to Brandon, there were others who were preparing themselves to fight against the injustice of the night. All had the same goal..hopefully. No need for extremities here. After all, they're breaking the law, but he doesn't want to get jailed instantly for a fuck up.

Post by Sekkeno Awa on Jul 31, 2019 1:01:46 GMT -4
What was it to the world if Sekkeno just wanted to have a little fun? Money didn't come easy for someone like her, and taking a full work day to get it was not a prospect that the girl was willing to look into just yet. The red-light district, though? As much as it may have seemed like she was here to sell her body, she found the thought utterly disgusting. No, it was easier to just pluck it right out of the wallets of those more affluent types that made their way around here. A cozy little den that attracted with just enough money and lacking in police oversight that a little mugging would be more than an easy fix for her temporary financial setbacks. Whatever the fates had aligned tonight were certainly not in her favor, but it wasn't like she could do anything about it now, even if she had been aware of it tipping so sourly. Actually, as far as she was aware, everything had fallen perfectly into place! Poor sap was practically walking around blind with a book shoved in his face. If he was really that unaware of what was going on around him, he either deserved to have the weight his yen relieved from him, or he needed to be taken down a few pegs. Sekkeno smiled a coy smile. Yeah, she didn't mind doing both. Rubbing her hands together, she would start to approach the alleyway that Yusuke had barreled down not moments before, but to her surprise and dismay, she wasn't the only one with her devilish plan. Damnit! It was such a good plan, too! How hard could it have been to take on one guy? What kind of cowards needed numbers like that to take on one kid? Stupid as she thought trying to keep 'territory' was, bit by bit it was starting to make a bit more sense. Without a one of them watching their own backs, Sekkeno would have ample time to blow a rather large bubble as she approached them from behind.
"You look a bit lost, kid." For such a large man, his voice would be surprisingly gentle, fatherly almost, but that would only serve to belie the predatory grin that sat on his face. He swung both of his rather hefty looking bats over his shoulders. "Empty those pockets of yours and I might just be inclined to personally escort you to the train station." He took a few small steps towards the boy, craning his neck back towards his companions. "Never know what could go down if some punks managed to get ahold of ya' during these hours, ya' know? Somethin' real bad might happen." He would take the bat from his right shoulder and twirl it around a little bit before pointing it right at Yusuke. "So what's it gonna be? I'd just hate to see someone beaten bloody like that..." Only Yusuke, or anyone that happened to be close enough to look into the alleyway, would be able to see it: A bubble of rather impressive size would float in the air above them before suddenly slamming into the ground right in front of the quad of would-be-muggers! In less than a second, the bubble would shape itself into a square wall that reached all the way to the sides of the alley which stood a good three meters tall and fifteen centimeters thick. The large man would walk right into it before he could react, and would find himself forced back a few steps as he bounced right off of it! "What the hell!" On instinct he turned his head behind, much further than almost anyone should have been able, but it was too late! Using her small size to her advantage Sekkeno would be able to slip right around one of the lackey and move right through her own bubble as her quirk allowed! The man's head would snap back around as she did so. He clenched his jaw hard enough that it looked like a blood vessel in his temple was about to burst. "Hey... Koichi. Didn't I tell you to watch out for shit like this?" Despite hardly changing the way he spoke, it was like there was a certain new cadence to his voice, wreaking with violent threat. The girl that seemed to have come to his rescue didn't seem in the least bit phased by this, rather she stuck out her tongue and pulled her eyelid down just a bit! At the same time, one of the other mooks, the kid that seemed to be Koichi would slink back a little bit. "Y-yeah, you did" "So do you mind telling me why little miss hopscotch here was able do one over on us?!" The boy merely looked towards one of the walls, not bothering to give him an answer.
"Hee hee! You guys are too slow!" She really did look and sound like a kid, which would make what she was about to do next that much odder. Forming her fingers into a ring, the girl would blow another bubble only a bit bigger than her fist and let it float right beside her head. "And you talk too much!" Without much more provocation, the large man would shove the end of one of his bats into the bubble wall, seeming to test how tough it could really be to pop a damned bubble. Pretty tough it seemed, as it popped right back into place the moment he slung the bat back over his shoulder. "You gotta do it like this!" The girl craned her head back a little bit so she could get a better aim, and, with a snap of her fingers, she would attempt to make the bubble fly right by his head fast enough to ruffle his hair before slamming into the wall behind him with enough force that it would leave a rather sizable impact crater. There was definitely a lot more to her quirk than first met the eye! But, more importantly, while she may have first seemed to be a savior, it was quickly becoming evident that she was just another predator with her eyes set on the prize! "Everything on you. On the ground. Now!" She finished her command with a warm, child-like smile

He was just about to call it a night and head home. It wasn't completely worthless, even if no one showed up causing problems. After all, the idea of a patrol was dual purpose. Not only being near if threats rose, but the sight being intimidating enough to stop anyone from risking a confrontation where they could end up on the losing side and heading off to jail. Either way, right now Lucas was feeling rather confident. At the very least, he had gained a bit more practice traversing the rooftops. Maybe ground level was infinitely easier to move faster but this simply felt right. After all, it would be hard to be chased down by any cops or officials who urged him to stop if they couldn't even reach him.
Regardless, Lucas was just about to head on home when he heard a noise, someone exclaiming something out loud. His Japanese wasn't exactly perfect, but randomly shouting hell definitely didn't sound like the average situation. He leaped over towards the other side of the building to look down into the alleyway just in time to see a bubble slam into the wall of the building he was standing on with impressive force. From the brief glance at the situation, a young individual was being held up by some punks, who then got held up even further by an individual seemingly robbing everyone. Not if he could help it, she wasn't! That young man certainly couldn't be anywhere close to 18, a mugging like this was serious business, let alone the fact that it could seriously scar an individual for months. Even in a place like this, it was his job to make sure the streets were safe for everyone to walk, no matter the time of day.
"Well!" Lucas shouted out, standing on the very edge of the building, so far that he was practically hanging off. His eyes immediately began to glow that bright blue color, signifying the use of his quirk to stay on perfectly and keep his dramatic pose. Hands on his hips, a classic fearless sentai pose. "I hate to burst your bubble young lady, but no one is taking absolutely anything if I have to say anything about it!" He slowly leaned forwards, shifting until he was just slowly walking down the wall itself. Despite his mask hiding his expressions, a smile was almost audible in his words.
As soon as he was near the bottom, the psychic vigilante flipped forwards off the wall and onto his feet. His eyes scanned the situation a little bit more now that he was down at their level. A young man wearing a tanktop with a manga in his hands, a few general ruffians equipped with baseball bats, and the quirked woman who was trying to take all their goods. First priority was protecting the kid, the second was causing as little physical harm to everyone as possible, either teaching all the thugs a lesson or properly prepare them for their arrest.
Standing tall, he simply began to walk closer without any visible fear in the world. Pointing out a finger outstretched towards them, he slowly shook it back and forth almost like a nagging mother. With a teasing tone to his voice, he spoke up. "Isn't it a little bit late for everyone to be out so late, hmm? Tonight is the night of the Alter Ego Hero: Alt!" He immediately posed once more, twisting his waist and pumping his arms up into a dramatic, hopefully inspiring pose as he once again turned to face all the individuals proper. "Let's start this simple, hmm? Drop your weapons, hands up! Nobody has to walk away with this with any serious injuries if you all cooperate."

Just as Kenshin had thought, crime never sleeps for very long. Just as he left one alleyway and entered another, he saw it. Several thugs surrounding a blond civilian. Well shit, Kenshin thought to himself. Fortunately, the kid would not be in trouble for much longer. While still hidden from sight, Kenshin activated his quirk. Henshin!Once the armor was on, Kenshin was about to dash in, ready to kick ass and protect the blond. But then he noticed someone. A face that he had not seen in a while. It took him a bit to remember just where he had seen her from, but then memories of a certain bathhouse came flooding back. It's that bubble girl! Kenshin gritted his teeth. Shit. Although the boy was confident in his ability to take on the mooks, he knew that the girl was no pushover. Fighting all of them would be tricky. Not that that mattered. He had to step in now. No innocent would be harmed while he had anything to say about it! But then another newcomer showed up. Unlike the girl, Kenshin did not recognize this one. But from watching and listening, it soon became apparent that this one was a good guy. That was a relief. It would make things a lot easier with some help. With a smile, Kenshin began to dash to the scene. "And who said y'all can start the party without me?"Kenshin looked over at Lucas. "Yo! You look like you could use some backup. I'll be more than happy to help you kick their asses." The boy then focused his energy on his left hand, transforming it into his signature red blade of hard light. "It's up to you if you want to deal with those thugs and leave bubble girl to me, or if you want to take her on yourself. Either way, we can't let anything happen to him." Looking over to Yusuke, Kenshin retracted his mouth cover so that the blond could see him smile. "Don't worry about a thing. I won't let them hurt you or take anything from you. Just stay back." He then put it back on before looking over to Sekkeno. "Well it has been a while. Didn't think I'd see you again. But unless he..." Kenshin looked over to Lucas. "...has other plans, I'll be happy to take you on for round 2."Kenshin knew that someone needed to fight the girl. She was too strong to ignore. And then there were the thugs. Hopefully the other vigilante could take care of whoever Kenshin wasn't going to deal with. That left the civilian. Hopefully he would stay safe. But there was the scary possibility of somebody taking advantage of the fighting to run over and take the guy hostage. Kenshin could never allow that! However, he could not focus on protecting the blond and fighting at the same time. Man, it would be far easier if someone else was here to help out.Fortunately, Kenshin would get his wish soon. | Word count: 507

Oh hell no! Yusuke wasn't going to stand for that at all! Well...shit. He could get into a physical fight with this girl, but he'd be greatly disadvantaged without using his Quirk. He was practically a sitting duck, and it was so frustrating! "Like h-!!!" Yusuke started to growl with an offensive stance at the bubble girl, but he was cut off from his retort when he heard a mature voice shout. Wait...who? Yusuke thought internally as he whipped his head around in confusion before looking up with wide eyes to a hero fully clad in armor walking down the wall as if he were defying gravity itself. Yusuke then slowly smiled a little as he internally fanboyed at the fact that he was being rescued Sentai-style from a villain. The best part was that he wouldn't have to break any rules now just to have a chance at a safe escape. Oh Shit! He's so cool!!! Yusuke internally fanboyed even more when the hero stuck a heroic pose and monologue.
[break][break] However, he was even more surprised when another hero showed up and wanted a piece of the action. It was then that Kenshin brought his attention to Yusuke and advised him to stay back and he wouldn't let him be harmed. "Uh...yeah. Sure." Yusuke replied back to the hero calmly as he defensively backed away to get out of the way of the coming scuffle. When this was all over, he'd have to return to UA, but he felt really indebted to the guys anyway. Yeah, he really wanted to repay both Alt and the futuristic samurai hero back properly at another time. But...how exactly?

Well, he's not sure what to call it. Is it good luck or is it shitty luck? Either way, something happened in the distance. Some common stuff occurred, like a robbery. He was about to go there when he heard a louder sound from that area...like a pop...or well, it was more like a compressed bang. That already got his attention, but then he heard something else. Some guy yelling. Seems as if its...is it someone boasting about themselves? Are they calling themselve-hold on a second, did they just do a fucking pun? The hell? What kind of dumbass just yells out with no regard, thinks the very loud and tends-to-yell-a-lot Drag-On. Wanting to see what exactly is going on, he rushes towards the noise.
Appears as if he wasn’t the only one who was attracted by this noise. There was a costumed man guarding a blond haired teenager from a young looking girl, while a red armored guy joins up with them. The other robbers were still there but they and these guys, especially that red armored guy seemed to be wary of the girl...is she a thug as well? Was she the one who wanted to rob from the kid? Well crap, was she the cause of that loud pop?
“Got no idea what’s gonna on here...but it’s pretty obvious you’re behind it.” He readies his arm while preparing to activate his scales, as if he were warming up an engine. “Don’t know who you guys are...especially you…” he remarks to the over the top and flamboyant Lucas. “...but I’m guessing you want to fight her as well.” He smirks under the helmet as he readies a boxing stance. “Stay behind us, kid.” He says backhandedly without looking.
“So, who’s going first? Cause if you don’t, I’m gonna.” He growls out as he stares at her.

One. Some westerner. She could tell by the accent. Staring the man down, she would her hand up to her mouth and begin to blow another bubble. No doubt if she was actually aiming she could knock him out cold before he even knew what was going on. She wasn't going to let someone make such a terrible pun like that and get out of there unscathed! She had to nip this punmeister in the bud before he had a chance to grow! "You got nerves, kid. You really think you got a chance four on one? I'd stay out of this if you wanna keep that armor lookin' new!" True, while it may have been four on one, the two that had come with him looked like they were about to piss themselves at the guy's appearance. The Boss-man would brandish both of his bats, ready to strike out at Lucas the moment he came with in reach! However, Lucas wouldn't be the only one coming out to play! His eyes would immediately shoot towards a hint of movement in the corner of his vision! He thrust his other bat in that direction immediately to interpose the oncoming shape, momentarily forgetting about the wall that was already between them.
Two. She could hear the footsteps pounding against the concrete right before he would speak, and the girl would hesitate at the sound, preventing her from actually throwing the soapy missile towards the wannabe hero! She shot her gaze towards the newcomer. A gritty frown quickly turned into a wicked smile. Oh, what a small world this was! "Is that you, Swordy-chan?" Her tone was playful, but there was a hint of frustration was starting to leak in. "I didn't expect you to come back for more so soon!~" She may have seemed child-like, but she knew her limits, there was no way she was going to be able to take on the ever-growing peanut gallery all on her own! With a mere thought, the bubble wall that had been blocking the first group of ne'er-do-wells popped in an instant. With two already on the scene, that wallet the villains had been about to scrap over suddenly became worthless, even if they could be dealt with like the trash they were. Even the Boss couldn't help but smirk at the little girl's silent proposal. She thought she could have taken on him and his crew but was wary of a couple of heroes? In his eyes she was nothing but a pathetic, cocky mess. Her quirk might have seemed tough but he figured that he could beat her to a pulp now that she had lowered her guard... but... Now there was an even bigger mess that he had to deal with on top of that. He glanced to the kids that he had brought along with him on this little venture. This was supposed to be nothing more than an easy little mugging to whet their fingers! Damnit! He had been going steady with Koichi's mom for months now, but that was going to fall apart quicker than he could snap his fingers if he didn't do something about it! He couldn't help but sigh. "Kids! Go back home. Let me deal with this. We'll try this again some time, alright?" Without much more fanfare, the posse, which had looked as if they were about to piss themselves only moments before, would attempt to haste away from the scene, thought it was honestly surprising that they hadn't done so already. The arched an eyebrow as he looked at Sekkeno. Honestly he didn't care if she tried to get away, hell, he assumed she would with a third hero sallying their way on to the scene. "Didn't cha' get the memo, kid? That means you too!"
Sekkeno stayed her hand for now, unable to help but wonder just how much she would have been opening herself up for an attack only seconds before. She shouldn't have let that wall of her's pop. She could have just moved through it and kept at least one of them busy. Instead she smiled. Running wasn't fun. "Shut up, old man!" Her fingers squeezed the bubble that was resting in her hand, the veins in her spindly arms seeming to pop out from under the skin. "I've got a bone to pick here, now are you gonna help me or what?!"
The girl threw her bubble like a baseball pitcher, sending it in a straight line towards Kenshin's chest! Meanwhile the Boss-man would run forward a few steps to almost interpose himself between the girl and the heroes. "Heh! That's rich coming from the brat that interrupted ME!"

Lucas was immediately surprised by the presence of another face literally dashing into the scene at his metaphorical side. Impressive suit, that much was for sure. He couldn't help but smile widely to himself, growing more excited as time passed. It was like those crossover episodes from his favorite sentai shows, where individuals from older seasons or even other shows entirely would meet and work together to take down a common foe. Considering the man's hand literally turning into a blade, he felt confident enough in their abilities. While it certainly wasn't what he had been expecting when he set out on his patrol, the more on his side, the better.
However, the two of them seemed to have a bit of a history. The bubble blowing girl and the sword-wielding lad, that is. Getting in the middle of a reunion was not immediately on his to do list. Lucas laughed, keeping his pose for a few seconds longer before standing up tall, ready to strike. "Far be it for me to get in between you two, hmm? Go right ahead and enjoy round 2. I got the big guy and his goons." He pressed his fists against each other, eyes glowing brightly as he activated his quirk. Before he could do anything, however, a third individual showed up on the field.
He was also in full costume, surprisingly. Was he a well-established vigilante? Definitely not an official hero, not one he had ever heard of, but the way he motioned towards Lucas and stating he had never heard of him certainly gave him the idea that this was a man who probably knew a lot of the local vigilantes. Good to get on his right side then. Regardless, it seemed the growing number of vigilantes encouraged the two different criminals to work together. The older man told the kids to run home, and he just simply nodded. Going after those kids at a time like this was going to be complicated, best to just stay focused on the actual threats.
It was strange, working like a team to protect the kid behind them, but hopefully things wouldn't get too out of hand. As soon as the next bubble was blown, Lucas leaped into action. His quick easily activating the thrusters located on the back of his suit, Lucas bolted straight towards the man separating the group from the girl armed with a ranged quirk, taking him down was the first goal to making sure the others could get close to the girl in behind with ease. The man was armed with bats, but whether he had a quirk or not was entirely unknown, best to be cautious ever still.
He quickly jumped up onto the wall of the alleyway, dashing straight towards them. Of course, sticking with his talkative shtick, he spoke right up to taunt the man. "You know, for a father figure for those kids, you're a bad role model! Take them out for baseball!" He suddenly pushed off the wall, jumping straight towards the man's chest. Relying on his quirk, if the man would swing the bats at him, unless he somehow had unnatural strength completely unknown to Lucas, they'd bounce off of his body to be reflected by an unseen force as his eyes would glow even brighter.
"Speaking of baseball-" A single hand would slam into his chest, only for his quirk to activate. Assuming he had managed to get a hand on him, Lucas would quickly angle to toss the man at the nearby wall with surprising force, his eyes never stopping their intense blue glow as his psychic touch would replicate a standard feat of strength. "It's too late to run home!" Of course, Lucas was trying hard not to show it, but he hadn't been this active in quite some time. His breathing rather heavily beneath his mask, despite his intense smile.

As if the armor guy wasn't already enough assistance(And speaking of, Kenshin got another glance in and just realized that damn, that's a pretty awesome armor! But no time to admire that now!), another person joined in on the fun. Kenshin did not recognize the guy, but something about his voice felt familiar. Did they meet before? Well in any case, it seemed as though he was here to help out, so the boy was more than fine with this. So it seemed as though the match-ups were decided. Armor guy would take on the goon. Kenshin would deal with Sekkeno (or Bubble Bitch, as he referred to her as, seeing as he did not know her name). Leaving Helmet Guy with... Okay, what would he be doing? Protecting the blond boy? Assisting one of the vigilantes in their fights? Well any help he gave was appreciated. It did not matter who he chose to help out. But then a bubble was suddenly shot towards the boy's chest! Shit! With the speed his armor granted him, Kenshin was only just barely able to avoid a direct hit. Still, he could not dodge forever. That was not an option. So instead, he chose to attack. And there was no need to hold back against a strong opponent. Charging his blade with energy, Kenshin then swung it horizontally forward, unleashing a full-powered sword beam. "Scarlet Saber Slash!"With the sword beam moving straight towards Sekkeno, Kenshin decided to move in now, running close behind the sword beam, and either dashing in the direction she moved to avoid the beam should she choose to dodge, or trying to dash out of the way in case she chose to counterattack instead. He did not want to give her much time to react, so hopefully this maneuver would not backfire on him. Though whether it did or not remained to be seen. In the meantime, Kenshin was focusing his attention on Sekkeno, not worrying about the other vigilantes. He trusted that they could take care of themselves, and more importantly, keep the blond boy safe should any of the villains decide to target him. | Word count: 360

It would seem that the girl and the Sentai Samurai guy were familiar with each other in some manner, which could prove to be very concerning for Yusuke's case while he tried his best to stay out of the way with his new role as a civilian. Still, Lucas' skill at attempting to dispatch the common crook that had initially tried to swindle him was quite impressive; that suit of armor was really cool to witness in action, but he was in no position to fanboy at Lucas or the other two heroes present. Now if only they could take care of the villain with the bubbles, he'd be able to book it back to the academy before he got into any more trouble than he already was in to begin with.
Much to Yusuke's own relief, Kenshin was able to narrowly dodge a bubble aimed directly for his chest; and he took note of Kenshin's sword beam while he contemplated if he could implement his own quirk in a similar manner at some point. The swordsman strategy of following closely behind the sword beam for a melee follow up was also very clever, but it would also leave him vulnerable to a counter if Sekkeno wasn't staggered by the beam initially. Fortunately, he was able to pick up a few things from Kenshin and Lucas that he could modify for his own use later on.

Oh, okay, that could have gone better. Maybe they could have, you know, done something instead of standing there and say stuff instead of, uh, doing it. The others had the right idea: Weird sentai guy decided to say cheesy one liners and proceed to get up the man's face, proceeding to essentially- oh dear god that fucking one liner. Can you stop it?! Dude, this is a serious ass thing! Some little girl is about to kill them with giant bubbles and you're here saying one liners? He isn't taking this seriously!
(He's mainly annoyed at how corny they are. If anything, he's probably even more pissed off that he can't come up with better one liners than Lucas)
The kid, red edge, managed to evade that bubble in time. With the man occupied, it seemed clear as day what he can do right now. A simple right hook to the head. Somewhat violent, especially with who they're fighting against...actually it is a bit violent, but at the same time it's plain and clear that 'fair play' isn't something she practices. That bubble would have done serious damage to Red Edge. As he starts to run up towards her, Brandon follows suit, smacking his fists together as scales grow through the jacket, steam being jettisoned out of the scale vents, and running behind him. His reasoning is if she missed him or focuses too much on Red Edge, he can follow up with a right hook. It was worth a shot.

The Boss's gaze turned to meet Lucas's in an instant. Quicker than Ego expected, the large man shoved his foot in front of him, shifting his momentum around, he would throw his right arm back before throwing it into a wicked swing towards the wanna-be hero's head! A blow so powerful that it could have left the brains of normal men leaking on the concrete below, but Alter Ego was no normal man! With the strain being put on his quirk, the hit might as well have taken a punch right to the face, but in but an instant, his powers would shove the attack back from where it came, leaving the Boss open for Ego's followup! "You little-!" He wanted to say more, but it was all he could manage before Ego planted his palm right in the middle of the large man's chest! With a force perhaps a bit more excessive than necessary, the Boss was thrown into the wall on the opposite side of the alley!
Realizing that her meager defense had been quite literally blown away, Sekkeno realized that the other two had a clear shot at her! Stupid idiot! He should have seen that one coming! Now SHE had to do the job of two people. The veins in her temple bulged a bit at the annoyance. If she had just a few more seconds she was certain she would have been able to wipe all of them out with a single attack! She was definitely going to take that big guy's stuff when she got the chance! Slamming both of her hands together, and with the sharp intake of breath-!
Too late! She noticed the beam of light just in time to attempt an aerial cartwheel to her left, but she would not be able to keep him off for long. Staggering her attempted escape, Kenshin would be able to come right in with his followup attack, one that she would attempt to dodge with no avail! She wanted to scream has the blade bit into her side, but she managed to avoid it cutting anything drastically important. With the other guy quickly following up behind him, she needed out fast! Dumping all the air from her lungs into the ring formed by her hands, Sekkeno attempt to blow out a bubble quite a bit larger than herself that would close around her, attempting to knock Swordy-chan away from her; Drag-On too if he had gotten too close for comfort! It felt like her tongue was shriveling just a bit more, and her skin was starting to turn a concerning shade of red. Water. Water! She wanted some water so bad right now! Where were those water bottles when she needed them! "Hey, Swordy-chan~! Remember how you beat those salarymen senseless? Where's that now, trying to look noble for your new friends~?"
"Raagh!" The Boss peeled himself off the wall and rubbed the back of his head, more like he had just taken a decent punch rather than a blow powerful enough to launch a prize Wagyu. "All right, you know what? I was just gonna kill you before. Now you're worse than dead!" He took a lumbering step towards Lucas before pushing forward with a speed uncanny for his size, he readied his left hand, sticking his baseball out a bit like he was going for a heavy swing! Just as he was about to strike, his entire arm would suddenly move in the opposite direction, no, his entire torso spun around in place, dipping low, the Boss would attempt to deliver a backhanded swing to Lucas's knees!

Boss Mans's quirk gives him similar strength to Lucas, but it seems bit more durable
