It was noon time in the city. At a local Playground, kids as young as 4 and as old as six were playing around on the gym sets, swinging from the swings, flipping on the monkey bars, and climbing walls with sticky fingers. As you might have guessed, this was a kindergarten for Quirker children who just recently developed their abilities. Little wolves, fire spitters, and tiny angels were all playing with there abilities and each other. One was running around yelling at the top of his lungs about becoming the wizard king. Another proclaiming he will rule the pirates.
Under a tree near the fence line, Xifeng Yao was sitting with a few kids who's mutations made it hard for them to play. She had a picture book in front of her. One kid wearing a reserve wet suit sat on her lap. Under her left arm, cradled in was a girl with thick wool like covering. A boy sat on her right shoulder looking over and if not for a better look, could be confused for an actual raven, if not for the shirt and fingers.
Xifeng was sitting in her normal blue skirt, black shorts, and blue blouse, covered by a red apron bearing the school's logo on the front with 'Volunteer' brandished underneath. "So the giant roared back with an angry yell! 'Where is my goose? I was going to eat that!?' And Jacob turned to him and shouted back. 'Mine now. Neiner neiner,' before climbing down the beanstalk." The kids seemed enraptured. The book, having no words in it. Xifeng Yao Villain || Azure Phoenix || Polarity Flow WC: 269 Tags: Jack Orion

Admittedly, when Jack decided to volunteer with a bunch of Quirker kids, he had no idea what he was getting himself into.
When he had noticed that a school was taking volunteers for a ‘fun day’ for Quirkers that had only just developed their Quirks, and thus had no idea how to properly control them nor how to keep themselves and others safe in the process of learning, Jack felt that this could actually be a relatively good experience not only for the kids to just have a good time despite only just gaining their abilites, but for himself to learn how to handle these kinds of situations.
What he got instead was complete chaos.
At this current point, Jack was currently running on all fours, with his limbs transformed, of course, away from a trio of kids with wolf mutations. Apparently they were learning to like reptile meat, or something of the sort. Whatever the case, it didn’t stop them from chasing the dragon boy at top speed, one of them even managed to cling onto Jack’s tail as they chased their prey.
He ran practically all around the park, partially screaming the entire time. Of course, all the adults knew well that the kids wouldn’t hurt Jack in the slightest, and promptly laughed at how silly the situation looked. ”Make sure they don’t imprint on you, dragon boy! Then you’ll have a pack to look after!” one of the teachers exclaimed playfully, admittedly loving the situation and how surprisingly well Jack handled the kids’ playfulness.
While Jack would have normally responded, he was too busy having the wolf kids finally catch up with him and climb all over him. He laughed in delight yet yelped in surprise at the same time, rolling around for a while with the small wolf kids.
After a while, though, he managed to get away from all the chaos for a moment, heading towards a more quiet area where a girl was reading a story to the kids that couldn’t play due to their Quirks. The girl was currently in the process of telling the kids the story of Jacob and the Beanstalk. Admittedly, though, the book didn’t have any sort of cover to show what it was, so he assumed that she was improvising.
A bit entranced, mostly due to the fact that he was already tired as heck as it was, Jack decided to stick around, to see what the girl would come up with next. Of course, as per usual, he forgot that his limbs were still transformed. With how young he looked being added into this, he looked like an overly excited 15 year old partial dragon mutation. Whether the girl would mind his entrance, though, as up for debate.

Xifeng didn't break her story telling as Jack plopped down next to her. If he had any electronic devices though, they may have been disabled with how close he had gotten. As she flipped the page to tell the rest of the story, the teachers piped in. "OK Time to go back to class." The children let out a seemingly unison Aww and sulked back into the class room. The Bird boy stopped short of the door and turned back to them. "Big Sis. You told us you can fly right? Can we see before we go to class?" Hearing this other students seemed excited to see someone actually fly and came back out to egg her on.
The Chinese teen blushed a bit and smiled. "Well I don't see any harm in it." She walked over to hand the boy the book and walked back into the more open area. She smiled to the dragon boy as she walked by, Apron and jacket blustering in the breeze slightly. Once her boots went onto the sand of the sandbox, she snapped around. There was an eerie feeling like lightning was about to strike just before translucent blue wings unfolded from her back and flapped. After a bit of a roar from the wings, she shot into the sky like a rocket and flying towards the city. Contrails from the flight giving a very easy trail to follow as electronics returned to normal once she was away from teh school.
