all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Shortly after letting go of Haruuhi, Miku took the steps forward to take hold of Hana's left hand, she had the phone simply in her lap, but she should answer Gil because he obviously would be worried. She loved both girls so much and maybe their effort simply showed a light in the dark, "Yes, I love you both too much to let go. We should try, I will have to inform your father." Was her answer to doing something lighthearted and to scold them both for randomly turning up. Albeit she had made a start and she held Haruuhi's hand with her free right hand, "But for now you two will have to stay here, tomorrow we fly back and I will talk to him." If he lets me that is. "See it as a sleep over party, wait, do you girls still do that?" The adult woman asked because she never really had a sleep over party, it was mostly Nanami that had done it once or twice, but the shy beautiful girl found it too much stress and Hanako could not pester her so-called friends more about it.
She gave both Miku and Haruuhi a gentle squeeze before letting go and picking up her phone again to rapidly send messages to Gil, he probably was waiting on her text as she had waited a few minutes to answer and he replied quickly back.
She felt bad that G apologized to her multiple times, she had to hold herself to not giggle like a school girl. Damn, she really did love him.
She decided to look up after a few more replies to ask the girls if they wanted a drink, she surely wanted one, she felt far too much as if she was on a swing going from one emotion to the next. So with a little bit of difficulty she got up to get the girls some drinks as well as herself, she actually liked the idea if they would stay, "Are you two hungry?" She suddenly realized and that's when she froze as her mind mused on about doing something fun. "Miku~" She quickly turned to the blonde, "Did you find the birthday presents I left you? I am so so sorry I couldn't be there." She had left the girl a new game to play as well as a mini spa-set that she had bought after their day at the spa, it contained some small bottles of nice body lotion and shower scrub and a little mint coloured bottle of nail polish, a nail file and so on.
She turned back to her phone on the sink, wondering what she should text next. The conversation had fallen quiet after asking if they could talk tomorrow and Gil wishing her a safe flight. She did not want it to end, now her head turned away from the kids, her right hand typing and her left holding on to a bottle of soda in mid-air, her face turned bright red as to what Gil answered.
She did not know what he thought about but the fact that he still thought about her made her blush and giddy. She send a message back to ask what about and finally filled the glasses with drinks, putting the phone in her pocket and grabbing the three glasses to set on the coffee table, if Miku had not gone to sit down she would invite her to do so, if the girls wanted to eat something she would ask what and head back to the kitchen if not she would sit down herself, trying to quickly round of her texts to their father as it felt rude and yet she did not want to stop.
Her next text felt a little braver. No longer able to hide her smile while looking at her phone as well as the pink blush on her cheeks.
Even if she tried to divide her attention, the stupid smile did not disappear from her face, even if she was trying, "So eh, what ehm lighthearted stuff did you girls have in mind? Or ehm anything you want to see here in Kyoto? How is school going?" What should she ask, she felt like she was not being nice to them but wasn't this really what they wanted? Still now that she had the two of them here together, she would work out to become the best damn mom, for them at least. |

"Yay! I love sleepovers! I always wanted one!" Miku happily exclaimed when she heard what Hana said. She loved the sleepovers she'd see on kid movies, and she loved the chance of doing one in real life. She didnt count the stuff she did with G. He was a big boy. Only girls do sleepovers.
She watched as Hana went to text G. Miku smiled when she saw Hana's face, she was clearly happy now. Hana then asked if the girls were hungry. Miku shrugged and looked at Haruuhi "Are you hungry?" she asked.
But then she heard Hana call her out and then asked for... birthday presents?
"Birthday presents? Really? I didnt see. When and where did you leave them?" she asked surprised and curious. She was happy to hear she had gifts waiting, but due to Levi funeral, Hana and G's breakup and the whole OD mess, Miku just hasnt seen it even if it was probably under her nose.
Later Hana urged Miku so sit down, so the daughter did, as she watched Hana work and text. After which Hana asked like what lighthearted stuff to do, or how is school
"School is ok, bunch of stuff going on" Miku said

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Thank god for someone that suddenly felt like an old lady, they were okay with doing a sleep over. What a relieve was that. She wondered around of what to do while still texting G from time to time which surely made her smile. It was a strange sight to be hold. But she finally decided what to do right at the point that her grandmother returned and she quickly asked her if it was fine, to which the old lady said: You are an adult, don't have to ask me.
Hanako simply shook her head, watched her grandmother go into the kitchen after introducing herself as Hanami Midoriya to the girls and leaving the discussion, she loved her very much but she was a bit weird sometimes. "Okay well if we are going to plan a sleep over I have to find a few things, Haruuhi?" She had to make sure the other girl did want it too or wanted to do something else that was more her cup of tea, and while Hanako went to find the stuff to basically pamper Miku, she wanted to make sure Haruuhi wanted to that or "I have an old pc from eh 2063 that needs fixing, if you like that more I can show you where it is?" So both girls would have what they wanted, she would simply brush and braid Miku's hair if she would let her, make a home-made face mask and see what more she could do as the day continued. She was so worried on what to do for the rest of the day and tomorrow that she would almost forget to answer Miku's question about missing her birthday gifts, "I left them in your wardrobe." She said, because originally they were hidden in her wardrobe. I mean she barely looked at the floor of hers so it made sense or maybe they had not been home that often, she did not want to make guesses and looked at her phone, maybe G was more distressed than she had thought. "I am not telling you what it is, you will see when we are home." So that was the planning of their night, watching movies, fixing computers, talking, and do random stuff, Hanako wasn't entirely convinced she was doing right to every daughter but that would be okay. She felt wrong for missing out and walking away on them because she had not seen the whole combination of how much they meant to her and how much she meant to them. She could not make up for that in one night and she wasn't trying to but it would work out fine, she asked Haruuhi to help her pick the tickets to fly back to Tokyo the following day and so on, to make sure both girls felt like they were having a saying in the matter of the day, as well as what was for dinner. She would order something they would like. ~That meant that soon enough after packing, repacking, fixing things and making sure the hospital was up to date and her aunt and uncle were okay with her coming back tonight, she would go back to the airport. She said goodbye to her grandmother, thanked her for looking after her and once again was on her way to the capital. This time it seemed to be easier to go back to Tokyo, no intense questions of how many weeks she was pregnant and if she was certain, apparently these people knew how it worked. Two hours later and they were back at Tokyo Airport it must be about eight thirty in the evening on the twelfth of May and she took a deep breath, she wasn't that much of a fan of flying and had tried not to show the two girls, "Let's get a cab and go home, okay?" She said, pulling the trolley with her and starting up her phone again, while walking towards the taxi stands she stopped and stared at her phone, six missed messages. That was a lot in two hours. She scrolled through the miss called and stared at it with a frown, all were from the hospital... wait had she maybe given the wrong information? She sighed, maybe they were not okay with her flying back, that was her opinion! She clutched her phone between shoulder and ear as she had redialed the number, there was no voicemail message, so she was rather curious. "Hi, you are speaking with Hanako Mizuki, I was ca-"Her voice stopped and so did she, again, she lowered her hand as she was waving for a taxi first, not sure if the girls knew how to get one and turned rather pale. "Yes." she let go of the trolley, turned her head back up and clutched her phone. "No, no I will be there. I just landed I am so sorry. We are going there, his girls are here." Shit! Her eyes scanning the pavement. Not knowing where to look or what to focus on. Finally a taxi rolling in front of her and she clicked the phone call away without further thinking. she did not even try to get her trolley, albeit the bag was small, into the trunk, they had to go. "Tokyo hospital, as quick as you can please." Was all she could say with a desperate sound in her voice and in her face. She did not know what to say to Haruuhi or Miku and looked at them, one after the other. "Your dad..." Gil... why, what happened, how bad was it, she did not even dare to ask, oops, she did not even properly say goodbye. She felt like crying... again. |
