all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ In the apartment in Kyoto there stood a piano, it was an old one, not as pretty as the one her aunt and uncle had but it served the purpose. She felt weak, tired, sick and a lot of more things but it was mentally, her body was doing alright, the baby was growing very quickly now and she just had made up her mind, a bit, she was so unsure, what had the woman in the Fourth Corner said? Strength. She did not feel like she had much of that left. She stared at the notes in the booklet before her, to play the song that she wanted. To distract herself she kept playing songs but they all sounded like love songs in her mind, based probably on the performance Elise had given. Was that why she started? Maybe. Maybe not as it was her aunt that randomly decided to play and teach her the piano. She was tired of working, her phone switched off for most of the day, tempting to text Gil, tempting to call him. Tempting to ask him to take her back. Ace of cups. Softly she touched the keys on the piano to play on. She would tell them her story, that was how Elise did it right? Play the story you wanted to tell. She could find the keys now, she could hear the instrument and play a little faster, the easy part of the River Flows in You was that it was a repeating melody for most part or well that's how she could play it. "Did you eat Hanako?" "Yes I did." She said while reading the notes and softly continuing to play. Maybe she should start again, where was she again? She started again but before she could finish the first string of notes in the right order her grandmother spoke to her again. "Maybe you should take a break, sleep a bit, Hana-chi, you don't sleep enough." She slammed her hands on the keys, making her grandmother turn around and look strict at her. "I am fine." She still wasn't fine but she wasn't a baby, she was only carrying one and many more women could work and sit up straight for hours until the six weeks before the due date and she was here, like a coward because the hospital demanded it. She did not want to deny that they were right but she felt strong enough, she only did not feel strong enough to watch G, see him, she wouldn't know what to say even if she knew what she wanted to say but face to face... would be difficult. It was the 11th of May and Hanako did not dare to admit how afraid she was of the time she took to tell him. |

If there's anyone who has had enough of family drama and arguments and tears and splitting up, it was Miku and Haruuhi. But mostly Miku. Hearing to what happened with this so called power couple and Hana going off to Kyoto was the last straw. If they werent gonna be the adults, then Miku and Haruu would be. Thus Miku took Haruuhi by the hand, took some of her allowance just to get a ticket for a ride to Kyoto and well, she went for it, taking Haruu with her. Class or no class, she was determined to fix this now
Going to their ride, boarding it and well traveling, Miku was simply angray the entire time. Band drama with Chimmy leaving and family drama with Hana leaving. Miku just couldnt deal with it anymore and she wanted to get them back together. Granted, she did rush a bit like G, not exactly knowing WHERE in Tokyo Hana lives, but Haruu being a hacker of a hero that she is had no problem finding it. Thus it was only a matter of time before the two girls found themselves infront of Hana's door and just knocking on it together, waiting to get their mama back

Haruuhi was dressed much in the same way she had been when she'd assaulted Yuuki. Shorts (which she never wore) and a thin red tank top. While normal to most people, this was the most skin Haruuhi had willingly shown anyone... well ever. She had a light jacket that she was holding onto in case it got cold, but she also carried a rather frustrated, I don't give a shit attitude displayed on her face.
She had already told Miku she would go with her to Kyoto to find Hana, paying for her own ticket using the last bits of the money she had acquired from Kas. She didn't mind though, this was just as important as anything else she'd spent her money on previously. the two girls barely spoke the whole time... they really didn't have to. Haruuhi could feel Miku's frustration, and Miku could feel her own. They just knew what the other was saying, without speaking at all.
When they finally arrived to Kyoto, Haruuhi had to do some major law breaking as she hacked and snooped using her phone and nearby buildings to find where Hanako was 'hiding'. She was quick though, and she didn't break into any police servers this time meaning she went relatively un noticed.
The two would arrive and both start knocking at the door, Haruuhi REALLY holding back so she didn't just pound on it. She wasn't mad at Hana, just in general... so she had to keep herself in check.
"Hana? Uh... mom? It's Miku and Haruuhi~"
She called out to the woman so she wouldn't have to guess who was there...

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Just as they were having this stare contest, Hanako stood up to get a drink, she could not stand the fuzzing over even if it was why she came here for, not only to be away from Kyoto but someone to kick her ass to take good care of herself after she did not for twenty days. How did she not notice that herself, why did she ignore how dizzy and bad she felt. While walking into the kitchen to grab a glass of water, she heard a knock on the door, but she ignored it, cuz no one basically knew she was here and no one would come to visit her anyway. No one cared.
But she heard a second knock and she heard the door open and words and she was glad the glass was on the kitchen counter as she walked out of the kitchen that was annexed to the living room and thus close to the hall. She looked around the corner at the two that she least expected here. Haruuhi still called her mom after not showing any initiative of what she asked her weeks before. After all, she still wasn't back, she was even further away. Her grandmother looked from the girls to Hanako, her lips formed the word mom and she took her coat, "I will leave you all too it, now excuse this old lady, it's good weather to take a walk." Hanako had to shake her head and walk to the door as her grandmother got away. "Girls, ehm, come in." She looked around them, was he... did he come too? But of course not. "How did-what are you-I don't..." She could not finish any of her sentences. She did take a step aside to let them in and out of the hallway in the small living room. |

Miku noticed that Hana wasnt living alone, she went to her family. She felt bad if she disturbed them and made the elderly woman leave. Once the grandmother left Miku, entered the house with Hana's permission and spoke "I'm sorry if we disturbed you. I didnt think you would go to someone...as an adult.."
Hana then looked around them, probably checking if G was there. Miku doesnt blame her, he WOULD be crazy to do this kind of shit
"No, he didnt come. This is something we did" Miku said. Hana looked speechless and puzzled
"Please, you should sit. I know we must've surprised you a lot. And I dont wanna do anything else that might upset you or shock your or disturb you." Miku said, not wanting to risk Hana's safety so she offered to let Hana sit down on a chair or sofa or whatever.
Besides, she wanted to give Haruuhi a chance to speak and ask Hana to come back with them. The two sisters were a team and Miku wasnt gonna do all of the talking. They BOTH wanted Hana back. She was their mother. Gosh, Miku felt so emotional about this. She wanted them back. Hana was the chosen one

She looked for him... that was a good sign right? Sure he hadn't come with them but... they hadn't exactly told him they were coming either. They both seemed to just know it was the thing they HAD to do at this point... they were both stuck in the middle of this, and they were both sick of it.
Whenever the door opened however and an older lady walked out, a little bit of the shyer Haruuhi shone through as she stepped behind Miku to let the woman by, her cheeks turning a light shade of crimson until the woman had left. By the sounds of it she was Hanako's mother, and she had to admit she appreciated the fact that the woman left them to it. For starters it meant they trusted the girls enough with Hana without really knowing them at all.
She let out a soft sigh when they were finally allowed inside, Hanako stumbling over her words, asking about how the girls managed to find her. Haruuhi just smirked and held up her cellphone.
"GPS tracking. I uh... used Robodog at music night to turn on both of your locations so I could keep a better eye on you both. You're out of my range out here, but my phone was able to track it pretty easy."
Haruuhi admitted as she put her phone back into her pocket, taking off her shoes as she then followed Miku and Hanako further into the house where Miku was guiding Hanako onto a sofa where she could more easily relax and get over the shock of them being there.
"We want you to come home..."
Haruuhi stated bluntly now, stuffing her hands in her shorts pockets as a way to keep her hands busy as she didn't want to be seen fidgeting with anything. While she had changed a lot during this whole endeavor with G and Hana, there was still that shy girl who had trouble speaking up... at least every now and then.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Funny how she thought that going to Kyoto would give her answers, yes there were answers but she was also a very much scary cry baby that did not dare to go back to Kyoto to actually talk to G about... about what she thought about what she had done. "Oh, eh, yes that's my grandmother, so at least someone keeps an eye on me while I try to... try to." She held her hand on her belly but could not pronounce the words: take good care of the baby because did she really? She still felt incredibly guilty. She did not want to show her disappointment that Gil wasn't here, of course he wasn't here. Had she expected that Gil would take a plane and come find her in Kyoto? Even if she had send him the address, did she really think he would... he would.. It did not matter. She let Miku guide her to her own sofa, in her own well sort of her own house, asking Haruuhi to please close the door as she albeit with slight difficulty went to sit on it. Her unfinished questions were answered anyway, the GPS tracker in the dog she helped fixing and Haruuhi her own phone, she wasn't sure if she should curse her own well being and well behaviour at that point or if she was okay with it. As Haruuhi had done exactly during the music night, she did not surprise Hanako now much either, she rubbed her baby bump and shook her head. She felt the tears already sting behind her eyes, "I can't." I want to was what she basically said without using the words, I want to but I can't, she now expected them to ask why not and she wasn't sure if she would be able to answer. She wanted to stand up again, offer them a drink or something, would it have taken long before they found the house? Probably not, "Anyone a drink?" Her voice too high pitched, she should say it, but if she said it, they would not want her back and she wanted to live in that sort of illusion that they loved her and wanted her and that she would be an okay mother, but she was not. She had made a mistake, she had considered multiple mistakes and her punishment was that she could not be reunited with them as she did not deserve it, Gil would have the baby and she would be alone. Again. |

Haruu explained how she tracked down Hana, Miku helped Hana sit down on the couch, she was pregnant and needed to be safe. Haruuhi then speaks how they want Hana back, they need her back, she was their mom. They chose her. But then Hana's short answer infuriated Miku "I cant". And then she had the nerves to act as if nothing happened and get them a drink
"We dont need a stinking drink!!" Miku said angrily. "Why cant you be with him?! You both love eachother. You both miss eachother!! Right??! So why are you two being even worse then babies! Why are you avoiding eachother?! What did he do?? What did you do?! What is so bad that you cant be together?!" Miku said
She didnt want stupid excuses, she wanted answers. And if there were no answers as to why cant the two be together, then they have no excuse to be apart. If need be Miku will get Hana to Tokyo somehow. And if she doesnt she'll drag G to Kyoto. One way or another they will be together, even if it means they ALL live in Kyoto. Miku then looked to Haruuhi for some backup

Haruuhi rolled her eyes as Hana basically said she just 'couldn't' be with G. It infuriated her just as much as Miku, but the blonde was faster to the trigger than she was. Miku basically yelled at Hanako demanding a better answer then that, but unlike her sister Haruuhi was going to take her new, direct approach.
She walked up to Hanako, and while this probably wasn't the best idea... she was so damn frustrated with these two idiots, there was nothing else she could think of doing to snap Hanako out of it. She was about to be a very bad daughter. As she approached Hanako she straight up raised her hand again and struck her cheek. The glare in Haruuhi's eyes would have been menacing if it weren't for the tears threatening to fall from her eyes. The smack wasn't anywhere near the strength of the fist that had collided with Yuuki, and really was only strong enough to sting the girls cheek... but strong enough to get her message across.
"You and dad need to stop being absolute idiots. It's fine and dandy if you want to hurt each other, but you're both hurting US to. We may be adopted into this mishmash of a family, but this is our mishmash family too. If you want to be with dad, then be with dad. If you don't, then you need to stop moping around, same goes for him. But mom this has to stop..."
Haruuhi said seriously, her voice threatening to crack any moment as she looked at the woman seated on the sofa with serious, but desperate eyes. Enough was enough, and neither of the younger girls could take it anymore. Haruuhi had already changed pretty drastically in a short period of time because of this, and who knew what it was doing to Miku...

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ It wasn't as if she was satisfied with what she said, it was just that words could not pass her lips, they should never. They were improper, they were unjust, she wanted them to have never existed in the world, not in her world. She wanted to step over the reason why she could not and offer them a drink, step over the conversation, invite them to stay. She gripped her phone as she had realized that G did not know they were here. It was her first text to him again after sending the address of Kyoto to him, he deserved to know but he also did deserve to know this. Her fingers finding the invisible keys while she listened to Miku. She knew to find the keys without having to look. She had never seen Miku so angry and she looked shortly at her phone as she hit send. What did he do? He did do nothing. He pushed her in a corner after she pushed him in one. But he did nothing. She had done it all. She looked up at the text G send her and she wondered if he understood what she meant. What? Yes, that's exactly what she thought too but she had to make sure that he understood what she meant and she looked shortly away from Miku, not sure what to answer yet. She heard Haruuhi take steps towards her and she fixed the text message quickly. Gil must have held his phone in his hand now too as she heard the soft buzz of a text message as she after the text had immediately shut her screen, it wasn't as if Haruuhi wasn't allowed to see it. All she wanted was to give her the attention, she looked up, accepting the smack on her cheek. It stung, it could have been worse, it tousled her hair a little but the woman her blue eyes, looking neutral, painstaking maybe, simply looked at her. Even if Haruuhi just hit her, her little pep talk, speech, stern conversation ended still with the word mom. She remained quiet for a few more seconds, blinking rapidly to avoid the tears. "Saying I can't, doesn't mean I don't want to." Her eyes switched from Haruuhi to Miku, "If we forget the whole starter of this fight, Gil did nothing wrong, I did." Don't say it, say it, don't say it, it was like a Russian Roulette in her mind. In a few seconds the kids would turn their backs to her and walk away, telling her that they did not even want to consider her anymore in their lives. "I hurt him, he probably thought that I wanted or considered an abortion." Her voice faltered and her eyes looked at the screen that showed it very simply:
Gil: WHAT?!
He would not even say that to her if he knew. "I did consider. I, oh god," She had to stop the tears and look at the ceiling to avoid looking at her screen, looking at the girl, "I did not want him to be born in a world where he would not feel welcome. I considered adoption, I considered to sell him as someone asked for it. I can't forgive myself for those seconds, those moments of insecurity and I regret even thinking about it, but I can't be his mother, I would make matters worse, what if we have another fight, I don't want you as you said to be hurt because of my stupidity, because of my selfishness. Neither of you, nor your baby brother, nor your father. I want to return, I really do but Gil would never forgive me. I can never forgive me, I can't go back." |

Miku was shocked by Haruuhi's action. That slap.... that was a ballsy move that left Miku speechless. Even when Haruuhi spoke, Miku was speechless. But when Hana spoke, that just took the cake. What does one say to that? What does she say to that? What does SHE do?? Miku looked at Haruuhi to see her reaction. Miku felt anything she says now would be wrong. She was scared of making a mistake. Its just that slap with Rowan stayed with her. She wasnt ballsy to treat Hana like G. But... what... how... why? What does Miku do now? What does Haruuhi do now?
Miku thought it'd be easier, they come just here, show how much they care about her and the family and just be done with it. Come back to Tokyo with Hana on the plane with them. But... at this rate, Miku felt as if G will just come here to pick them up and then they wouldnt see Hana ever again. This just felt like... a final breakup thingy to Miku. And Miku just simply had no words. The whole baby talk... the breakup, it was just too much for Miku who had her own familiar issues when Hachi just came and spoke of her family. Something she hasnt told anyone

She wasnt about to strike Hanako again as iit seemed it did exactly what she wanted it to do. It got hanako to open up and snap out of her silence on the issue. This went a lot deeper than she first thought… and as hanako went on about how she considered abortion, abortion, even selling the baby once it was born, Haruuhi sucked in a deep breath before sitting down next to Hana on the couch.
"Let me tell you something… a lot of people have hurt me in my life, physically, emotionally, you name it. It's made me hate them, on more occasions than one I've thought of what it would be like if I outright killed them. I never did, but does having those thoughts make me a murderer? No, I'm still training to be a Hero. Of all the people I've grown to hate over the years, the one person I dont hate is my birth mother. I've never met her, because I was given up as a baby… but I can't hate her. I'm confused and upset sure, but I don't know anything about her so I can't judge. Anyways. What I'm saying is, thoughts and actions are two very different things. You were thinking of what would be best for him right? They might be shitty outcomes but they're just thoughts.
So you're avoiding dad just because you had those thoughts? That's insane. You're not a bad person for being scared and wanting the best for your baby, even if that removes you from the equation. Mind you… if you tried to sell him for real I would slap you again."
Haruuhi went onto a rather long speech about her own experience growing up an orphan. She was as truthful as possible, and while she had just been pretty aggressive, Haruuhi lowered her voice now that she had everyone's full attention as she didnt want to be yelling at everyone.
" You think that no one will forgive you for having those thoughts, and fine whatever, but instead of sulking about it why dont you start making up for it? Instead of sulking be the best damn mom any of us could ask for, and the best wife dad could ask for. You might not forgive yourself, but if it means anything from the girl who grew up an orphan… I forgive you."

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ As she finished her whole story about why she could not go back even if she wanted to, she turned her eyes back to Miku, standing away from her, shocked, for sure, before her ice, that looked tired and hurt, turned to Haruuhi before simply looking at her lap, not at either of them. It would take a few seconds to sink in, but they would walk out, she was sure of that, they would complain about spending money on a ticket to get to Kyoto, they should have just called, albeit Hanako knew she would not have said it. It felt so easy, waiting for the second heartbreak, she already lost the love of her life, why not lose his children too?
But instead...
Haruuhi sat next to her on the couch and Hanako could not help but look up at her with surprise. She wasn't sure if she would compare the killing thoughts of people that had done wrong to her, was comparable with just wanting to cast away her son and those moments, she did not want that, seconds later she could not consider why she thought that, it wasn't his fault, if anyone was to blame it was Hanako herself. She wanted to say something, opened her mouth but stopped and looked away, yes, she was avoiding G cuz of that. "No, no I don't want to sell him but those thoughts, that means, I can only think..." That I would be horrible, any tantrum, any thing that would stop her in her track of her mother-ness or whatever it was that you wanted to call her in that point would make her wrong. "I want to try, I really really do but I am not sure if I can. I wasn't made for this." Easy words but they stung, they hurt, she had told Gil again and again that she wasn't made for relations and look a this: pregnant with his child. Wonderful. However Haruuhi wasn't done and as she listened and only nodded, as that was the total opposite approach of what she would do, she could only stare back at her, shortly at Miku and back to Haruuhi... "You do?" Even if it did not initially hurt Haruuhi, it hurt her in the process of her stupid thoughts. It hurt her too and Miku too, it was stupid to not consider their forgiveness as something worthy. She turned her upper body a little and pulled Haruuhi in a hug, albeit uncomfortable because the baby bump, so she did not hold on for too long. "Thank you." |

Miku just grabbed Hana's hand gently and held it "I believe in you. We'll do anything in our power to help you." Miku wanted to help Hana win G back. She was gonna support her mother
"Take a seat, a breather and rest. Your thoughts are now wild, emotional and jumbled up. We wanna help.... I mean, Haruuhi said everything much better. Im not... good with words. And umm... if we settled that you two are getting together, maybe we could all... I dunno... do something more lighthearted together?" Miku shrugged and asked
Miku hoped Haruuhi got through to Hana, so they can all come back together to be a family, and forget all this bad stuff and put it behind. She wanted for all of them to be happy. And she couldnt wait to meet the new baby brother, emphasis on the word baby. She would ask if Hana thought of a name, but decided to ask that later, she wanted to see how Hana was before she would bombard Hana with such question. Could they do something nice and pleasant. Maybe just talk. Of course, maybe she could wait for emotions to calm, they were in no rush

"Well I don't know what else to tell you. None of us are ready to face what's out there in the end, are we?"
She asked as she started to sound a little colder again. She let a sigh escape her lips as her hand gently moved over her scarred arm, lightly scratching at the lightning bolt shaped scar.
Judging by the way Hanako spoke just then, Haruuhi really wasn't sure if her words had gotten through or not, and that just made her sad... after everything they had to go through because of these two... that was it? She had let Hana in and now she was just going to leave and that was that... it hurt so much that she wanted to tear her own heart out. She knew something bad was going to happen, and she told them it would, she told them that was why she had been so scarred of their relationship back then.
Haruuhi shifted her weight so that she could push herself to her feet, but was stopped by Hanako wrapping her arms around her and hugging her. The red heads eyes began to glisten with tears that she fought to hold back! and as Hanako pulled out of the hug, Haruuhi wanted to keep holding onto her tightly but didn't force her to remain in place. Hana thanked her, and haruuhi wasn't sure on how to answer just then... did that mean she would go back to him now? Did they all get to go home?
Miku finally interjected and Haruuhi couldn't be more thankful about that! She spoke the words that escaped her right now, and it was Haruuhi's turn to stay totally silent.
