It was Yuuki's first time in the field in months. She had bounced from temp-job to temp-job, trying to find something with which to bide her time while working the unpaid internship through U.A. Nothing snagged her fancy. There was a certain thrill to the work of a private investigator, even for stupid shit like catching cheating significant others. It held a certain appeal that desk jobs never glanced.
Of course, she was apprehensive. She hadn't done any investigative work since the accident. And being wheelchair-bound made things... distinctly more difficult in the field. Her mobility was much, much worse. So if things went sideways, she could only run so far. But... this message was hard to argue with. Someone from the police department reached-out to her, requesting intel on Thunder and his associates. Even the police knew it was a dangerous gig-- Thunder surrounded himself with powerful people, and was personally quite powerful. They also had a number crooked cops at their disposal, though the department wasn't sure who. So, they saw fit to enlist help from the outside... and offered a rather hefty sum per-photo that Yuuki could snag. In a way, she was helping the police department find their own bad apples.
As such, the wheelchair-bound young woman sat just on the patio of a Kabuchiko restaurant, a small breakfast upon the table, and in the company of a textbook, a highlighter, a pen and a cell phone. This spot was one where Thunder was reportedly seen numerous times, due to Kabuchiko's proximity to the alleged Kobayashi Underground City. This was the third Saturday she'd come to this cafe. The last two, she'd had no luck. This one was starting to feel the very same.
She was on her third cup of coffee, and about halfway through her meal when she finally saw him-- the esteemed crimelord walked into a cafe across the street, with a rather hefty entourage behind thim. The woman sat a little taller, seting her ballpoint down upon the table. There were a handful of people in this world-- much like the man she watched now-- that exuded power. This was one such man. It felt audacious to even consider snapping an unwelcome photo of him.
But it wasn't about Thunder-- it was about the men and women he had under his thumb. Yuuki followed the man with her eyes, for she could see him through the enormous windows of the cafe. Surreptitiously the woman placed the attachment on her phone that enabled her to take more zoomed-in pictures, and she raised it as though she were texting. She adjusted the focus... and... *click*.
A side-profile of one of his entourage.

A three-quarter view of the same man.
*click* ... *click* ... *click*
It was almost too easy. Thunder disappeared behind a wall, along with part of his entourage, while the other half of the montage remained outside. Yuuki panned-out slightly, to snag pictures of the entire group. Their focus was pointed in various directions, making sure the room was secure.

She lowered the phone, and looked at the photo she'd snapped. They were all looking in different directions, and looked varying degrees of humanoid. But one... one was looking right at her.
"...Zugai?" the young woman murmured, placing pinched fingers upon the screen and then spreading them to zoom. There was no denying it. That was Zugaikotsu Miller. Maybe he was just there to get coffee? Not part of the group? The young woman set her phone down, and slowly lifted her gaze once again.
He was still watching her. Shiiiiit. Yuuki lifted her coffee cup, and took a hesitant sip. He'd definitely seen her. Maybe she could make a break for it? But she was in a wheelchair, so dining-and-dashing was out of the question. There were worst things then skipping on a bill. Like dying. But Zugai was a nice guy... what was he doing with a guy like Thunder...?
Yuuki took another sip of coffee, looking at the familiar, ebony curve of her friend in the distance.
