The nightlife of Tokyo was in full swing, the city lights glowing and turning the star filled sky into a second day. People by the thousands moved through the streets and alleys. The legitimate shops closed down for the night while the bars, clubs, and more black market-ish stores came alive. It was also the time for crime to rise up and in the shadows of one alley was a young boy who had his own schedule. In his right hand he held a old school pocket watch, his gaze flicked down to the minute hand than back to the streets. Alex had spent a week researching his prey. From their numbers, to the time they began their work, to who had the most money at what time. Right on time three young men stepped out of a black car and began moving among the crowds. The car pulled away, Alex knew it would return in two hours for a hand off of the money and a replenish of their product. However tonight they were going to be short by two hours. Alex stayed in the alley, his brown bomber jacket holding off the wind. His wild hair hung down in front of his face and kept his sharp, intelligent, eyes from being seen following the three men.
Alex preferred zone over man to man, he could watch his prey move around while conserving his own energy and waiting for his pinnacle moment which was getting closer. His watch opened again and he gazed at the time. Five more minutes before his plan would be ready. After a week of watching he noticed that the three men would sell and collect their money, once out of product they would walk over to the same alley, Alex was watching from and smoke a cigarette and wait for the car to arrive. They would wait depending on how fast they sold between five to ten minutes. As he clicked his watch he stepped further back into the alley and slunk down behind a large dumpster. He watched as the three men gathered in the alley, the click of a lighter and the orange light of tobacco being lit. Alex had hoped for ten minutes but instead he only got six. Waiting would only turn his plan against him, there was usually two more men in the black car and reinforcements was what he wanted to avoid.
Alex rose up from behind the dumpster, his bomber jacket zipped up to keep from flapping around and giving his opponent something to grab onto. With a quick burst of speed, Alex hopped on the wall and leaped forward. As he did, he landed on the middle mans shoulders and twisted, the momentum flipping the larger man to the ground and onto his back. The two other men stared dumbfounded at the sudden attack but quickly came to aid their friend. Alex had already jumped to his feet and turned to face the two men. A middle sized man threw a punch, using all his weight behind it. Most likely seeing a young teenager he figured he would have this in the bag. Alex caught the wrist of the punch and pulled the man forward and off balanced, his own foot came up and kicked the man's ankle out from under him. The man's entire body weight was brought forward and face first into the brick wall of the alley he went. This happened in only split seconds, Alex moved forward, grabbing the next man by the lapel of his shirt, he twisted his hips and plunged it into the man's midsection and used that momentum to lift and then swing his own body to flip the man to the ground. The man hit it with solid force, his own weight acting as blunt force to his body. The first man roared as he came to his feet and charged head first at the young boy.
Alex leaned back as the man rushed towards him, his body going down towards the ground as the man was upon him. Alex planted his foot into the midsection of the man's stomach, his hands grabbing the guys shirt and rolling his own body backwards. Halfway, he pushed with his own legs upwards, sending the man flying over him where his back smashed into the dumpster with a sickening crunch. Continuing the back roll, Alex ended up beside the man. His hand grabbing the man's face and a loud crack filled the alley as the man's skull fractured under the youths power.
The man who went face first into the wall came to, blood flowing down from a shattered nose and several cuts on his face. His eyes took in the scene of one ally on the ground out cold, most likely with a severe spinal fracture, the other laid on the ground not moving, from here he couldn't even tell if the guy was breathing. Finally his eyes turned to the ragged, filth covered boy who had cause all this. Rage filled him, he stood up and opened his hands forming two baseball sized fireballs. Letting out a roar he threw one straight at the kid. Alex had bent his legs when the man stood up, a cold passive look in his eyes as the man summoned fire. Instinct kicked in, his hunger for survival in full flow. The first fireball missed completely, between blood in his eyes and the throbbing headache signaling a concussion throwing off his aim. As he reared back for the second one the boy had already covered the distance between them. Now, up close with the lad he saw something that turned his blood to ice. There was nothing in the kids eyes, they were dead like a shark. No anger, no fear, no pity. Alex brought his shoulder down, arm wrapping around the man's leg into a one leg take down. The guy yelled as he fell backwards, the boy rolled forward, His hands grabbing the man's left arm, his legs coming across the man's chest in a full arm bar. His hips came up savagely, there was a crunch followed by a roar of pain as the arm was dislocated from the socket. Alex twisted the arm, his quirk activating and the bones at the wrist and elbow gave way. the bones snapping with a CRACK that filled the alley. Leaping up he watched the man squirm on the ground holding his destroyed arm.
The youth took a deep breath and walked over to the guy at the dumpster. Rummaging in his clothes he found a large wad of money held together by a money clip. Smirking, he gazed at the three men who lay broken in the alley. Opening his watch, he looked down to see that the entire fight had taken just over four minutes. Without a look back, the kid turned and took off down the alley, his escape path already marked out.
