all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She could not help but scream around her were bugs that she did not recognize nor liked, the beetles, isopods, wood louse, everything that was there made her afraid, maybe the ants were okay... reasonable okay. The worms and other animals made her scream and cry as if she was a little siren herself. Apart from that she had scrapped knees and hands, twigs in her hair, sand on her cheek and nose and she looked like a walking natural disaster and she sounded like one. When she finally heard G which was the second time he called her name she was hyperventilating, with her back against the wall of the pit, which made her jump up because there were also bugs there and she could not give an answer as she could not normally breath nor speak. She was in utter panic mode. She only wailed and cried and looked up to G but did not dare to look too long at her friend afraid the worms and bugs would crawl back on her. At leas she was not obviously bleeding, that was a good thing right, the little bugs could not get into her-her-her... skin.. She only started to cry louder as she could not find a way out and the top was rather high above her, for a six year old that is. |

Uhh uhhh, she's crying, she's panicking, he's panicking, he has to help her AND FAST!!! Gil had a real panicky moment where he ran in circles asking himself "What do I do? What do I do!?!?" Hana was always the smart one, but now she was gone, not saying a word. His heart was racing, adrenaline pumping. The first idea that came to mind was that he would jump in after her and give her a boost up so she can be free, but then he'd end up being trapped and there's no guarantee she'd be able to get up even with his boost, they could be trapped together forever!!!
No! Thats not good! Thats not helping!! 2nd idea was that he'd reasonably run for help to police. Buuut, chances are he'd get lost or not find help for a while, leaving Hana alone in there for a looong time, and thats NO GOOD!!! As he panicked, he noticed something. He saw a tree root, or tree branch, it was a tree thing that he saw in the corner of his eye, he had no time for semantics and details, he grabbed it and went to Hana and reached out for her!
"HANA!!!" he called out for her

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She could only cry, she was scared, it was dark here and all the creepy little buggers were down here which made her cry only more. She could not find a way out, she was cold, scared and had she already said that she was scared because SHE WAS SCARED. The six year old could not stop crying and choking on her tears as she could not even try to casually breath, it was like an obstruction in her way of thinking and she hiccuped as she gasped for breath every now and then.
She looked up when she heard her name rather close by, Gil was on her left side and she stopped crying loudly, albeit sobbed and hiccuped while saying his name which went a bit like: "G-Gi-Gihil.." Not entirely correct but it worked the same. She stumbled on towards him, not sure what to do but in the end extended her hand to hold on to him in case possible, she felt horrible and it would surely hurt her little hands and she wasn't that strong but she was very determined to get out of here! She did not cry much anymore, only the hiccups stayed but that was okay, she would get out of her, the bugs would be far away from her, she simply shivered but held on when she was pulled out of the hole this way, it would be fine. |

He did it. He got her out, he finally got her out. There was so much relief when he managed to get her. As soon as he got her up, he swiped away some remaining bugs that he saw on her,like from her shoulder and hair and the like. And then Gil immediatelly hugged her and apologized to her
"Hana! Im so glad you're safe! I'm sorry! Im sorry I got you hurt" Gil said while hugging and well trying to hold back his tears. Because crying was still mostly girly, he didnt wanna cry to Hana. But he cared about her so much
After the long hug, he looked her once again, checking if she was fine
"Are you ok? Are you hurt? Wanna just sit down and rest?" he asked her, worried about her. He didnt know what to do and honestly he was too scared to do anything. His want and need of bug watching got Hana hurt. He didnt want to do anything else bad, thats why he now asked Hana if SHE wanted to rest and what she wanted to do. He didnt wanna be selfish to her after she went through this experience

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She shivered when he brushed and patted away the bugs from her, she moved her little legs wobbly because it felt like their tiny little legs were all over the place on her body, they tickled and even if they were not there it was just something in her mind. Which made her sob again and hiccup still but she would not outright cry again, she could be a little brave and now braver since Gil was with her. She did not entirely heard what Gil was telling her as he hugged her, if she would hear, she would tell him not to blame himself, after all she had walked away but she shivered a bit more and finally calmed down as Gil held her, being a tiny bit taller than her, but also being her best friend and best hero in the future, it made her calm down. When the long hug was over, she got a little stronger and the hiccups were over, she took a few steps away from the pit and showed Gil her hurt hands, that were dirty and had little red marks on them from the scratches. She wanted to sit down but firmly stared at the ground to make sure there were no bugs or worms there just grass. She dropped herself with a plop on the ground, far enough away from the sinkhole and looked at her hands and dirty outfit. She jumped up a little when something flew close to her and went to sit on the grass next to her and she stared at it, all this time she had not said a word and if Gil wasn't looking, she would tug on his shirt and point at the ladybug that had come back. She decided after her adventure with the worms, wood louse, isopods that she did not mind the ladybug at all. It would be her favourite. |

She took a few steps away from the hole and showed him her hurt hands. Gil noticed how hesitant she was to sit down, because of the recent trauma. She eventually sat down and he sat right beside her, not wanting to leave her alone, She jumped up a little when something flew close to her, Gil didnt see what as it sat on the grass next to her. Whatever it was, she stared at it. She didnt say a word, instead tugged his shirt and pointed. He saw the ladybug which made him smile. He slowly and steady extended his hand close to the ladybug, who was walking on the grass. He put his index finger the closest, so the bug would start walking on his finger. When the ladybug did that, Gil sloooowwwly raised that arm close to his face to observe the ladybug
"It sure is pretty" he thought to himself now that he saw it up close with the red and black dots.
He glanced at Hana to see how she was doing. He realy just wanted to hug her and hold her, she was still hurt and traumatized, but there was nothing he could do.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She was still a bit afraid of the bugs but she liked how careful Gil was handling the little bug, to be honest she found the lady bug the cutest thing from the list of bugs, not as scary as the ones she had seen before and as Gil was looking at it, she leaned against him, she was tired of the screaming and crying and she trusted him. With her little head against his shoulder, she simply closed her eyes, not to sleep but just to rest, her eyes felt like they were burning a little and she was sure they were red and puffy, her mother would yell to her about her dirty clothes. So much for a good day.
She opened her eyes shortly again and watched Gil look at her, "I think I am okay with ladybugs." She wanted him to know she was a tad okay now, she still felt as if the bugs were all over her place, but she did not want to cry again and just wanted him to know that. She absolutely did not want to ruin his day anyway. What kind of friend would she be if she did so, just because she hated bugs. Little did she know how much of a nightmares she would get from this. |

As he observed the ladybug, he felt something. It was Hana who leaned against him and rested her prett little head against his shoulder. As she rested, Gil blushed, he blushed like no other. He, as as red as the ladybug. Speaking of which, the bug in question flew away once again, leaving him there, alone with Hana. Hana on the other hand looked at him while he was holding the bug in question, telling him that she was ok with ladybugs. When he heard her, he looked at her surprised... or well... more like really flustered. Oh gosh were her eyes pretty now that she was there up close to him
He just couldnt resist and kiss her on the cheek.
Though of course realizing what he did he panicked and apologized "UH... UM..... sorry! I-I missed, I wanted to... umm... " he held her injured hands and kissed them. After which, he moved away, a complete and utter red mess. He covered his face and closed his eyes. He was too shy and speechless to say a word. And he was scared of Hana's reaction of what he did. He went overboard and did a bad, what came over him?

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Maybe she was a little bit tired, she would not like to admit, all the impressions, scary or not would do such a thing to her. Maybe she was running around too much of a time to really... to really, well it did not matter, they sat still now. She could take a moment to catch her breath, to calm down, to try and forget the feeling of... of everything.
She looked up at him to tell him she was okay with ladybugs, maybe one day she would be okay with butterflies too, they looked pretty... from a distance. She watched him, with a little smile, "You are my hero." She said happily, closing her eyes in the process of that smile at him but she opened them rather quickly again when she felt a soft tingling on her cheek and stared surprised and utterly red like a tomato at Gil, what just happened? The way she noticed that Gil blushed and how he stuttered made her realize that she did not dream or fantasize that he would kiss her on the cheek, she had seen it in romantic movies or her father kissing her mother on her cheek, so it was a sign of love right, Disney princesses got kisses too. She really loved Gil, he meant the world to her. Instead of kissing her again on the cheek, he took her hands and kissed on the little scraps on it and it felt weird, like two different emotions at the same time. She pressed her hands together and against her chest, not sure what to say, think or do until she noticed he went to sit away from her and hiding his face from her. She pouted a little and moved a little closer, so she could hug him from the side, moving her head again to lean to his shoulder and wrapping her little arms around his torso. She did not know what to say, he was her best friend and she wanted to keep it that way. |

Hana wasnt mad? Wait.. she just pouted and moved closer? Well... thats good. Well, they rested and sat together. But Gil... he liked Hana a lot and still felt bad for making her watch bugs and get dropped down a hole of bugs. Maybe a kiss on the cheek to make her better. He'll just say its like an apology kiss for being a jerk. Yeah... that sounds good. Gil mustered enough bravery to do that. So he went to kiss her cheek. But... that didnt quite go as planned as Hana actually turned to face him to tell him something
Before he even noticed that, he just went with it and kissed her... on the lips. When he opened his eyes and saw what he did, he freaked out and backed away, almost falling into the dang sinkhole himself. But he managed to balance himself and stay safe. His verbal reaction to that was inaudiable. It was like screams and shouts of panic, apology and maybe fear of cooties and girl germs. There were plenty of scared and mixed and colourful reactions one could not put into words of a quote. His face? Well, it was red, but Hana couldnt see anything else as he covered it. But he was redder then ever. He did though, peek through his fingers to see Hana

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She scooted closer to him after he turned away, she did not want him to go away from her, she needed him, he was the only thing in her whole world that made her day happy, going to school was fine too but together with Gil was better, walking to school together, she wanted to be with him forever, together. So she simply talked to him, ladybugs were okay, he was her hero as she had closed her eyes and leaned against him. What more could she tell him. She wanted to ask him if she could be with him forever, if she could be his wife, like in the movies, that would be perfect, they would be pro-heroes and the best team together!
She quickly sat up straight, turned to talk to Gil and... Her eyes turned big and instead of actually saying anything she simply stared at him, what... what was that? The soft tingling on her lips felt so weird and she did not know what to say about it or what she should do. The red colour came up from her neck, to her chin, cheeks, and forehead, her whole head was a tomato and she had her hands pressed against her lips, they only kissed in movies! She wasn't old enough for that yet, it did not feel that weird but it felt weird, wait... what.. eh... she visibly shook, almost crying because he moved away from her, "G-g-gil?" She stuttered holding out one hand, the other still covering her mouth, because why... why did he get away, it was not so bad, it was an accident, did he now hate her? Could they not be together anymore? That was what brought her to tears, just when she wanted to ask, not understanding the normal romantic pressure behind it, it was like playing house, one was the dad, one was the mom and she could do that in the future too. |

He peeked through his fingers to see how mad was Hana. But he was shocked to see that she stuttered as she called out to him. Reaching out to him. She was crying. His kiss made her sad!!! Gil stopped hiding his face and worriedly talked to her "Gah! Im sorry! Im sorry! I just wanted to apologize for making you watch bugs! I swear the whole lips thing was an accident! Dont be sad or mad!" he spoke, trying to justify his actions
And in regards to the girl germs, he could just go home and wash his mouth with soap right? Thats how you prevent cooties. He didnt wanna accuse Hana of that since she already looked sad. Gil could also ask his mom if she could find some magic girl cure. Gil couldnt bare to look at Hana in the eyes with how guilty he felt for hurting her. He bit his lip as he thought about what just happened. And then repeated again "Im sorry for today. The bugs, the hole and um... this"
He didnt know what to do or say. He felt he ruined everything today. Maybe it was better if he just remained sick

Maybe Gil liked Nanami more, no, no he called her annoying, she wasn't annoying, which was why she extended her hand for him to hold, for her to grab hold of him, while trying her utmost best effort: to not cry.
She put her little hand back on the ground. Don't think about bugs, don't think about worms, don't think about bugs... And she crawled towards Gil, "You are my best friend, I want to stay with you forever." She simply cuddled close to him if he would let her, "You saved me." Yes as she had called him minutes before: her hero. She did not want to fall in that pit again, which was something she first pay attention to so she made sure not to accidentally push in Gil as well, she did not know how to save him in that case. "It's okay. It's not that bad, right?" She snuggled a little closer, "You should always protect me, what if I do not get a quirk, will you?" She looked up at him, playing with her fingers and staring at her dirty hand palms because of the fall but she was fine, she grinned her toothy grin at him, "I love you." She giggled, no idea how much the words could carry because she simply did not understand, she did love him for as much as a six year old could do, she understood only how it looked like and she wanted that when she was older, so that meant she should have her best friend by her side, and that was Gil, so that was easy. She wasn't sure how her parents worked that out but that's why she simply said it. |

Hana saved him and helped him keep balance by pulling him to safety. She crawled towards him and cuddled close to him which made him blush. She spoke how he was her best friend and how she wants to stay with him forever. He did the same and then spoke "You're my best friend too Hana"
She snuggled closer to him, and he just kinda hugged her, not quite sure what to do. But this right here now.. He liked it. Hana talked how he should always protect her. But then asked what if she doesnt have a Quirk "Of course I will. But who says you wont get a Quirk. I bet your Quirk will be awesome. I mean... what if I dont get a Quirk... or what if we both dont?" he asked her
Anfter that talk, she looked up at him, playing with her fingers and staring at her dirty hand palms because of the fall, she grinned and spoke "I love you.". Which just left young Gil speechless, flabbergasted, not sure what to do. He really wants to say it too, but his young mind is too fried to even process anything. He was shook to the core

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She liked this moment, it felt safe as she thought before, Gil being her hero made her believe that she could do everything in the whole wide world, with or without quirk. She giggled as he made sure that she should not feel bad and that her quirk would come, "Right, I am sure you get one!" She pinched his cheeks softly, "Because you are amazing and amazing and strong heroes need a quirk." She giggled again. She was okay with this but not everything would keep the fun like this, after all she was only six.
"HANAKOOO!" Oh, her mother. She made her way softly out of his arms and looked with a pouty face at him. "I have to go." She gave him a soft kiss on the cheek, "Now don't fall in. I see you tomorrow." And she waved goodby every so often as she quickly ran to her house. Still no idea of the impact that the little girl had made on the little boy, she would soon forget anyway what the words could mean too, at this moment she was just too happy to have a best friend like him around. That was all that mattered. |
