It seemed like an average day. Like things settled and that troublesome sports festival was finally done. It seemed like it was more trouble then it was worth it. Oh god, people watching and probably think she's a psycho not a hero. That'd be the worst. Miku glanced at her left hand while at the dorm, until she got a text message. She looked at it and saw it was from Hachi, the Support Studies Homeroom Teacher. She was in the hospital. Oh geez, Miku should visit her. She had no idea what the teacher wanted, but she was in the hospital and Miku had to visit her. She got dressed properly and used her Quirk to make a bouqet of flowers. After which she went to the Tokyo Hospital Later, eventually arriving there she didnt have to ask for Hachi's room since the teacher told her where she stayed. Miku soon arrived infront of the door. Good. Now all that seperated them was the door. Miku was actually nervous. Why did the teacher have to talk to her. They werent even in the same class. Was it because Haruuhi her sister transferred to Support Studies? Did Rin did the snitchin and the lying to make Miku a bad guy? Welp, one way to find out. Miku knocked on the door

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. It was not a pleasant feeling, realizing that she's known so very, very little about somebody once to dear to her.
Tsutsuji Hachi had loved her mentor Solenn Lièvremont like an elder sister. She had taught her everything she knew now, and in the years following her death, Hachi had given that same knowledge to her students both in and out of the classroom. However, time blurred the lines between what was something given to her by her dearly departed mentor, and what she had learned herself. Strength of both body and mind and heart; having the ability to let go when there was no other choice; recognizing your own weaknesses so that you could better yourself--those things had not come from Solenn. They had been Hachi's own values, grown over time and strengthened through challenges. But Solenn had given her courage and taught her to fight. She'd been a beacon of hope, pushing for a peaceful future.
...hadn't she?
Several weeks ago, upon the snow-covered rooftop of the Tokyo 5 broadcasting station, Hachi felt something inside of her crack in a way that didn't compare to the physical injuries she had retained from the battle. She had been at Solenn's side for thirteen years, acting as her sidekick, her partner, her friend. There had been very little kept secret between them. So she believed.
Until she had witnessed Nicholas Cross' Quirk in its entirety--the insect features all too similar, the scent of ozone and crackle of electricity all too familiar--that the protective walls around her mentor's image cracked.
He had to be her grandson. There was no possible way around it. Solenn had, at some point, had a child who had grown up, had children of their own, and one such child was now a horrible villain who had harmed so, so many people for his selfish, cruel gain. How? When? Solenn never had a partner in their time together. Hachi had wondered, of course, why she chose to distance herself from any and all romantic relationships, but it hadn't been at the front of her mind. She had asked why Solenn had ventured from France to Japan numerous times, only to receive answers that, in hindsight, were more fluff than truth. "I wanted to help others around the world", "Japan needs heroes more".
There had been more to it. More to her than the charming, friendly, wonderful woman Hachi had blindly flown behind. Yet she had taken all the half-truths as gospel and never once dared to go against that image.
How could she, when the woman was dead?
It was wrong.
But...now there was no such pretense. Nicholas Cross was Soleen Lièvremont's grandson. Whomever his mother or father was, they had to be Solenn's child.
How could this have happened?
...
Ah. But he didn't matter at this moment. Instead, Hachi's focus was shifted away from such painful questions to ones no longer filled with dread, but rather with hope. During the sports festival she had witnessed something most peculiar; a Quirk making use of electricity, familiar and spectacular, where up until quite recently there had not been such a talent. Hachi had felt her throat close tight at the sight. Hajimari Miku was a curious case. Hachi knew her father--or at least the man who had taken her in, whom she called father. Other than him there was no sign of a known blood relative in her life. Just like...Nicholas Cross, whom was also adopted, whom also demonstrated a sudden, unexplained talent for using lightning as a weapon.
It was possible. Possible, and too probable for Hachi to let slip away with happenstance and other excuses. So she had sent a message to Hajimari Miku over the phone requesting a conversation, insisting on meeting in-person, and going so far as to lie to the doctors to claim the girl was her niece so she could visit alone.
It was an incredible coincidence if she was wrong.
If she was right, however, then...
...then...
...
Then what?
A knock at the door drew Hachi's attention from the small plate of food she had been brought a little whiles ago. It wasn't Mikhail come to call this time--he didn't knock. Neither did doctors. So it had to be her. Hachi drew in a slow, uneven breath, then called, "Come in."

She heard the Homeroom teacher tell her to come in. To which Miku did. She slowly opened the door and carefully as to not be loud and obnoxious and then when entered closed the door the same way. Once inside she greeted the teacher "Umm... hello. I-I got these for you" Miku said and showed the flowers
She walke over to Hachi and gave her the flowers, after which she asked "So, miss Hachi why did you call me? Can I help you with anything?" Miku didnt understand why she was called. The only tie she had with Hachi was the Cooking Club, nothing else. Well, Miku knew she wasnt called in here for healing, she wasnt a doctor nurse, she didnt have a healing quirk and she wasnt little miss perfect Rin. She was just... Miku. A rando 2-B student. Thats what she was to Hachi, so why be here? Miku couldnt help but wonder that
But she decided to be patient and hope the teacher would reveal the reason. "Maybe I'm just overthinking it. It's probably something small like a chore.... But then why she didnt get Chise or Haruto, they're from her class" she thought to herself more

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. Hajimari Miku's quirk always made her smell faintly of flowers, which, while not something Hachi would admit openly, was quite pleasant to her more bee-like senses. She took the flowers offered and gently touched the bright pink petals of the roses with her claws. It wasn't a color that occurred in nature, yet she had likely grown them from her own abilities to be such a color. What a curious gift. "Thank you, Hajimari-san. Please have a seat. There's water there if you would like any. I would serve you myself," she paused to look sideways at her wing. Although she had healed enough to be laying in a sitting position, the wound was still clearly discolored--raw and pink where the rest of her wing was nearly translucent. She sighed softly as she continued, "But I am still very much bed-ridden. My apologies."
A moment passed between the two of silence as Hachi considered how to begin the conversation. How did one bring up the matter of another's past in a way that didn't harm them? From what little G had told her, Miku had been his child since a very young age, and likely did not remember the names and faces of her parents.
What had happened to them that resulted in her being taken in by G? Had she and Nicholas Cross been in the same home, and didn't remember the other? No, their ages didn't line up in a way that implied they were of the same mother. Their appearances, too, were ever so slightly too different to share the same parents. If that was the case, and their mothers were different...
Then it had to be their father.
A father whom Miku may not remember. A father who had sired another child with another woman barely a year after the first was conceived, if her math was right.
What sort of person was like that?
Thoughts for another time.
"I wanted to discuss your Quirk." Hachi began with her eyes on Miku's expression, her own being ever alien and unchanging. "I watched your match with Hino Yojin-kun and was curious about a number of things. To start, however, I want to say that I'm impressed with how strong you have become in the last year. Even though I am not your teacher, I can see that you've improved a great deal in the scale of plants you can grow as well as their strength and size. I cannot wait to see what you manage to produce with more training."
She drew in a slow breath. "With that said, there was one plant in particular I would like to know more about. That...landmine flower, I suppose I would call it, that electrocuted those who got too close. I wasn't aware that you could manipulate electricity with your Quirk. In fact, it's not something that I believe any of your teachers knew you were capable of." Her claws rested together in her lap. She didn't want to sound like this was an interrogation, but at the same time, there was a heaviness to her voice that she couldn't hide. A fear of a similarity that she couldn't push away.
"You are the second person I have witness in the last month to demonstrate a use of electricity in your Quirk that, as far as I know, nobody else was aware of. I do not want to alarm you, but the other person I'm referring to is Nicholas Cross. I assume you know him."
"His Quirk," Hachi hesitated, turning her head toward the window rather than to Miku, "And yours are very different, save that element. And it is an element that is shared, too, with somebody I knew very well in my youth. Believed I knew. And, coincidentally, both of you were or are currently living with adoptive parents."
"...once again, I do not want to alarm you, but I...there are simply not enough individuals with Quirks in the world today for that similarity to not have some basis in your family history. I have reasons to suspect that you are related, either by sharing a distant relative...or more likely...sharing a father. A father whom..." her voice quieted, hesitation growing as she tried, again, to say the words aloud that she had spinning around in her mind over and over again so many times. It felt so much more real, so much harsher, saying it rather than thinking it. And yet... "...whom I believe to be the son of my prior mentor; the ex-vigilante Lightning Bug."
Silence. She looked back at Miku, though her face stayed facing the window and her eyes did not betray where her gaze was. How would she take it? Miku could have still had memories of her biological family somewhere in her mind, depending on when and how they were taken from her. If she did, she may refute such a bold claim. There was no way of proving or disproving, however, without a blood test to determine whether or not her paternal genes matched Nick's own.
Which was not possible without his consent.
Hachi would rather live in the dark than seek him out.
"I am very sorry. I know what I am saying is based entirely on circumstantial evidence, and...may be troubling to hear, whether or not it is true. I just could not let it pass without saying something. If...if there is any way that it's the truth, then..." her hands tightened on the sheets on her lap, and despite her best efforts, her calm, even tone shook with some painful emotion. Dread? Fear? Sorrow? Hachi couldn't tell. "...then you and he would be all I had left of my mentor. And I feel obligated--no, that is not the right word--I feel a desire to protect you. I cannot do the same for Nicholas Cross. He has made his choices, and he has burned whatever bridge he and I may share with them. However if there is...what I am trying to say, if you feel there is even the slightest chance, or that you believe me at all...I deeply wish to get to know you better. To make you happy...in whatever way that means to you."
Please let my words reach her. Please. If she is all I have left of Solenn, if she is a second chance--a third chance--a chance at all to make right what I did wrong...please let them reach her. Please let it be true.
"That...that is all I had to say."

Hachi thanked Miku for the flowers and told Miku to get a seat. She also said there is water if Miku wanted any. But she'd have to go get it herself since Hachi is still very well bed ridden. "Um, thank you. I'm not thirsty." Miku answered
And well for a moment there was silence, which made Miku uneasy, it was like a detention or a feeling when you feel you did something wrong and you expect a scolding. Like why else would Hachi call her? She goofed somewhere
Then Hachi spoke. Wanting to walk about her Quirk, Miku just blinked in confusion. Hachi continued how she watched the match with Yojin. Miku smiled when she heard that Hachi was impressed with Miku's progress. She was happy that she achieved a goal in that tournament. Respect and showing people she is not weak. But Hachi spoke more, the thing that caught her eye was the Electro Bulb and how not even one of the teachers knew she could do that. Miku wanted to speak, but didnt as she thought it'd rude to interrupt Hachi who clearly hasnt finished Hachi spoke how Miku is the 2nd person in the last month who used lightning with their Quirk. And the first person was Nick Cross. Miku just cringed or not even cringed, it was a look of cringe, hate and disguist at hearing that name. She refrained from speaking and allowed her to proceed, his Quirk yes... she remembers it. Its just armour. So where does electricity come into play?
Unless "That slut" Miku thought to herself as she imagined Nick got zappy powers from Thunder as well! Thunder zapped Nick and gave him powers as well!! That slut
And then Miku raised an eyebrow when Hachi said that they both have adoptive parents.... ew... she didnt like being compared to Nick. That meant she really was going nuts. No bueno But Miku finally made a verbal comment even though it is a minor one and in the middle of Hachi's speach. As soon as Hachi said that she suspects that she and Nick are related, Miku just said a short "Ew" which pretty much gave Hachi and insight of what she thinks about Nick and being related to him But then she heard about the part where she might be related to a Vigilante. Now THAT is something to celebrate. Miku was always Pro Vigilante, so being related to one would explain so much. Miku would celebrate, but Hachi ... didnt look like she'd wanna celebrate, she looked glum and down for some reason. She doesnt understand whats wrong? Did she misunderstand Miku's Quirk? What? There was this silence and Miku just tried to process just what this mood and this atmosphere is. Miku when she finally found what words to say, she happily opened her mouth to speak. Only for Hachi to start talking again. Miku who was annoyed just childishly puffed her cheeks. She still had that childlike line somewhat shining through. Hachi tho apologized for... something? Who knows what? And said that stuff might be based of circumstantial evidence. And apparently the stuff she is saying is supposed to be troubling? Honestly Miku finds it all confusing. The only thing she got from the whole speech that Hachi is curious about the Electro Bulb and thinks she is related to Nick,ew, and then a Vigilante... well, it was more confusing then troubling
Miku felt bad because Hachi was going through something and Miku was missing some critical social cues as she did not understand what was going on. Apparently Hachi thinks Miku is related to her old mentor? Is that it? Welp... now Miku needed to word things A WHOLE LOT differently. But then there was a big zinger that really knocked Miku off guard, not that there was any. Hachi said that she has a strange desire to protect her, to get to know her and to...make her happy So in a way be like her guardian? As this clearly goes beyond the teacher like feeling. And then Hachi said well that she was done. Time for Miku to finally speak
"Ok wow. A lot of stuff to react to... Well... I guess I'll start with Quirk. No one knew about the Electro Bulb because it was a secret move. That and my Plant Minions were secret, like an ace I could pull out for the Battle Tournament. I didnt want to risk anyone finding out about it and preparing for it." Miku sighed "I already had enough with Yojin and his flamethrower" she was still salty "just because he knew I had plants. So logically I had to have a secret ace. In this case zap zap"
Then there was another subject. Nick and the Vigilante "Also the Nick thing. Ew ew..... ew ew ew. Ewewewew. That is all on Nick. Buuut" she got up to do a little victory twirl and dance "I might be related to a Vigilante. I might be related to a Vigilante. I might be related to a vigilante. Yatta~" she said in a happy sing song voice as she really couldnt contain her joy there, she then happily sat back down and thought of the other thing to say
"Im just realizing how this is so awkward and disjointed as I didnt wanna interrupt you. So I have like 3 to 4 different subjects of conversation at once. But erm...hmm....I ...ugh..." she had to drop the subject of explaining her family because her brain did not work with her. Hachi kinda overclocked it
"Ok, final thingy! So... you said you wanna protect me, make me happy and get to know me. That is kinda... beyond what a teacher is supposed to do or be... right? So then I cant call you a teacher really... so.. um... do I call you a grandmaaa? Auntiee?....Guardian...y? Mom number 2.. or is it 3... huh, lost count" Miku asked what to call Hachi, with each suggestion she sounded a bit awkward as she didnt know what to call her, but she did then ramble at the end as she wasnt certain would Hachi be her 2nd or 3rd mom, because well... Hana was a mom,but not really but now she's gone. Oh god brain.
There were things she wanted to ask, but so many things to talk at once. Miku had to end at least one of these converations before opening a new one

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. It took some effort to keep from apologizing again at the look of utmost confusion on Miku's face--however, for her sake as well as the sake of time, she kept from saying anything. She still managed to sigh wearily as Miku recounted her match with Hino Yojin. Yes, she could understand her keeping her new moves a secret before the tournament, nor could she blame her for the bitterness in her voice at the word "flamethrower". Hachi had half a mind to call Yojin himself and berate him for his dangerous use of pyrotechnics. Where had he even gotten the fuel needed for that machine? It had been legally purchased and approved of, right?
Sigh.
Hachi turned her head back to Miku with a twitch of her claws, expression otherwise not betraying a hint of the surprise that filled her. Miku was happy? Why? Well, no, she wasn't entirely happy about the circumstances. Being related to a murderer--among other things--could not be good for ones mental health. Still, her little dance and exclamation of joy at even the chance of being related to Solenn was...something. "I-I apologize if I am incorrect, but isn't your father--" Hachi began, then stopped herself, allowing Miku to continue with no interruptions. Wasn't her adoptive father a vigilante? Had that since changed? Or did she see the connection by blood somehow different than that of circumstance?
An unusual aspect to consider; despite having no blood ties to her, Solenn had been like a sister to Hachi, and yet at times like her second mother. There was nothing to connect her to Miku genetically the way it may connect her and Solenn. If she saw it like that, then...
Will I not be welcome in her life?
That doubt that had begun to choke her up was dispersed not a moment later by Miku's final question.
Hachi could not cry. It was, biologically, not something she could do, no matter what the circumstances. She wasn't sure if the feeling of heat and sharpness behind her eyes was the human part of her trying to cry, or if it was something else. She could not flush either--the shell-like skin of hers could not darken beyond its bright yellow hue--but she still felt her cheeks grow warmer. She felt like this was like what it was like to cry. It had been a long, long time since she had felt like such, and longer still that it had been out of something...good.
"...I am too young to be your grandmother," she spoke with a trace of a laugh, voice soft, timid, and full of hope, "And despite my similarities to your real grandmother, I am not sure how I feel about being called 'auntie'. If you...if you wish to give me a familial title, though, then...perhaps 'godmother' would be the most accurate...if you...would like to call me that."
Hachi raised one of her hands to return a strand of black hair back into the bun on her shoulder. The warmth in her face and within her chest would not cool.
"...I believe I would like if you did. If you do not mind."

When Miku asked what to call Hachi. The teacher said not grandmother as she was too young. The reason Miku suggested that was because in her mind, one can never be too old or young to fit that role. The only requirement was that you be older then the parent. Miku was sure Hachi was older then G. And she was leagues wiser then G. And most likely more respected. Thats why Miku suggested she be the grandmama. Miku smiled when Hachi said no with a trace of a laugh. Miku did turn her head to the side as she mentioned Miku's real grandmother. Ah right, she had to get on that subject about real family.
Hachi then said she wasnt sure about being called an auntie. Miku thought of that title because she always saw an aunt as a sort of 'side mom'. But Hachi instead gave a good title that Miku did not think of... GODMOTHER!!! Yes! It was perfect! She even had wings like a fairy godmother "Its perfect!" Miku said and hugged Hachi
After the short hug, Miku sat back and spoke "Ok. Now my mind is a bit more straight. So I can talk. Family...hrm... how come you're certain that I'm related to this Vigilante person. If lightning is your logic. Shouldnt then Yumi be here as well? She zaps people?"
She didnt understand how come she was the one called here, not that she objected or anything, she just didnt understand the logic. While Miku does believe that Nick was a ho and seeked powers from Thunder and his shocks; she doubts they are related at all. They look nothing alike. Nick is obviously british, Miku is 100% Japanese

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. Hugs were not foreign to Hachi, but they were rare. When one is a imposingly tall hornet woman not many people would try to touch her frivolously, let alone go for a full embrace. Mikhail was the most recent she could recall that literally wrapped himself around her while trying to "correct" her "hero pose", yet that had been all the way in Halloween. Miku was much smaller and far more lithe--and gentle--than he was. It still made Hachi go stiff for a moment before she raised her thin arms return the gesture, though with less vigor.
Godmother. It was supposed to be something quite important in the religious sense, but Hachi was not, and for some reason she doubted Miku was either. Still...
"I am happy you like it," she spoke gently into Miku's embrace before she'd pulled herself away. The warmth was not lost even as the subject returned to something of less personal, more serious discussion. Hachi gave a short glance to the bedside table where her phone--fairly new, after numerous incidents in the classroom with her more technologically-gifted students broke hers by accident--resided. She picked it up carefully in her claws. "Tasukai-san's biological parents are both known to the school. There is no question as to whom she is related to. Yourself and Nicholas, however, are both orphans with no record of your biological parents."
She turned on and flicked through her phone as she spoke, voice remaining even despite the small distraction of looking for one thing in particular. Half-way through what appeared to be a file saved from online, she found what she was looking for, and tapped on it before turning the phone screen towards Miku.
"As for why I am so sure you are her grand-daughter, her Quirk was pure electricity manipulation. She was like me in many ways; though not to the same extreme. Bug-like rather than entirely alien. Regardless. Your electro-bulbs reminded me of tricks she used to use when ambushing villains. And..."
The file was an image; more specifically, a photograph taken from a phone camera, some eight or nine years ago. It was somewhere that looked similar enough to Musutafu's own beach, clearly still in Japan, but not quite the same area. While the center of the camera was directed towards a sparkling sunset that was going down over the sea, there was a figure a little to the left, ever so slightly out-of-focus, but not enough to blur her defining features. Pale skin tinted with a slightly blue hue, dressed in a simple white shirt--with holes in the back for her gossamer wings--and faded blue jeans, the woman was grinning wide and brightly, holding her fingers up in the stereo-typical "V". Behind her a wave of long blonde hair was blown out behind her by an unseen breeze. Though her hair was somewhat darker, and her eyes not the right color, the shape of her face and irises and even her smile matched Miku's closely.
It was funny. This was one of the better images of Solenn she had left, but it was buried deep in her phone, rarely looked at these days. Even now, it hurt Hachi in a way she couldn't explain. Her voice was weaker when she spoke again, once more full of dread.
"...while I would not say you are her spitting image, there is...enough similarities that for you two to not be related, it would need to be a very strong coincidence. There are not--were not--many blondes in Japan, before U.A brought in foreigners from around the world. If you are naturally blonde, and swear to be purely Japanese, then there are only so many people whom could have passed that gene onto you."

Oh duh doy! Other people had parents, not everyone was shrouded in this obscure unknown like her. So Yumi had parents. Welp... nice for her. As the hug ended Hachi spoke how Miku and Nick dont have parents. As for hy she is sure that Miku is the persons granddaughter is because of the Quirk; and because of some similarities. There are not many blondes in Japan, or well there werent before all the foreigners came before UA.
She event went as far as to show an image from her phone.
Well... now how to approach this. She really didnt know how to feel about it.... about this. Maybe it would be best if she just verbalizes her thoughts to try and get a grasp of things "I... dont know my parents. I dont remember them. But I know they are dead. I saw them dead. Very.... bloody dead. A.... bad guy got them and well... you know who then took care of me since then." Miku said. She did try to put those thoughts into words, but because her mind was jumbled, it was obvious things and subjects would be disjointed.
"Its not that I just dont remember them. I barely remember anything from my life when I had my parents. Its like amnesia that wont go away" Miku said, though granted she knew that G didnt want her to remember, hence why he didnt bother trying to help her in that department. In a way, he kept her memories repressed.

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. There was a long period of silence before Miku spoke, and once more when she had finished. Hachi wished she had a way to fill it, but...there was a chill that went over her whole body simply hearing Miku's confession. It was entirely possible that whomever was her shared parent with Nicholas was not his mother's husband. There was always the chance. Infidelity was the only explanation for why their ages were so close yet their appearances so different. Yet, it was just as possible that her mother's husband was who was unfaithful and, when he died, Solenn's own child had been murdered.
She did quick math in her head. Miku was fifteen. Hachi had met Solenn sixteen years ago. If she remembered her parents--no, if she believed she'd been old enough to remember them, had she not been traumatized by their death--then they must have died after the point where her she would have started retaining memories. Had Solenn's child--her son--died, brutally and bloodily, while Hachi was in her tutelage?
Had she known?
That thought twisted a knife in her chest.
Solenn...did you even...know where your son was? You were always at my side. Always with me. When did you have time to see him? Did you ever see him? Why not? Why were you so quiet about him? Why were you apart from him? When he died, did you mourn? Did...
...did she even care?
It didn't feel like the woman she knew to not care.
...but...she had never mentioned having a child in the first place. She either hadn't trusted Hachi for thirteen years together, or hadn't had anything really to share.
Hachi wasn't sure which one hurt less, to believe.
"...that is likely due to extreme trauma. If you were witness to their death at a very young age, yet were old enough to understand the concept of death, seeing your parents brutally murdered may have blocked out that part of your mind, to try to keep from breaking," Hachi finally spoke in a clinical, almost detached tone, her face tilted downward toward her phone. "...there...are still pieces of my memories as a vigilante that are blurry or blacked out, or otherwise something I remember happening but cannot for the life of me recall details to. It is incredibly common among us to have trauma."
"I am positive your father has his fair share."
If Solenn's son was already dead, then it broke her heat to have lost the only chance she had at knowing him. Knowing Solenn's own child, perhaps learning what their connection had really been, finding out why Solenn never spoke to her about him. Anything at all. The chance that her birth father wasn't her mother's husband was still there. Yet, for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to hope that was the case, simply because there was, likely, no way to prove it wasn't.
There was no use believing in a lie that could never be proven true. It would only wound her heart worse.
"It may be for the best that you don't remember. You have a father and sister who loves you dearly, and...I, as well, would like to care for you just as much eventually. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water in the womb, so they say. Which. Means that those whom you make a bond with can be even greater than the bond you have biologically."
She sighed softly, quietly.
"And I cannot miss what I never knew. I know you."

Hachi spoke and Miku nodded. Yes, she has heard that extreme trauma can cause that. But something she said made Miku think. If you were witness to their death at a very young age, yet were old enough to understand the concept of death. Did she subconciously know that? What happened?
Maybe she did, but that train of thought got cut off when she heard "Sleep juice. All over my hands" Yeeeaah, she somewhat understood the concept of death, more on a subconcious level. But she was still naive enough to believe that blood is... sleep juice "God, Im gonna kill him" Miku thought to herself, pretty miffed about that 'gem' she was told.
Miku looked at Hachi when she heard her say that she was positive her father has his fair share. "My real dad or my adoptive dad?" she asked, for clarification. She doubted Hachi knew her real dad. But... she sort of hoped. Like hey, if she knew her grandmother, then it wouldnt be a stretch that she knows a father?
After possibly giving the answer, Hachi spoke that it may be the best to not remember. Well... maybe, but... still it would eat someone up as they not know. "Maybe blissful ignorence is good... I dunno" Miku thought to herself At this point Miku really had no idea what to say. "So.... what do we do now?" she asked She had no idea what to do or say. Apparently Hachi knew her grandmother and wants to become godmother. Thats nice and cool. But what do they do now?

Second chances do come your way Recognizing the ones that matter is the trick.. "Your foster father. I...am almost positive your birth father is dead. I'm sorry." Hachi half-lied, but only to keep from dwelling on the possibility that he was alive once more. Getting Miku's hopes up was a worse crime than having that hope herself. "Though I've only spoken to him personal enough times to count on my hands-" she held up her three claw-like appendages, "-what I do know of him has given me enough to, well, I suppose it's nothing but the most shallow, baseless psychological evaluation. Still. You do not try to become a hero, especially beginning as a vigilante, without witnessing upsetting events. He's strong, but no one is invincible."
Hachi laid herself back as much as her wings and injuries would allow. She was beginning to feel winded from speaking so much, and though her medicine kept the worst of the pain at bay, she had moved into a position that was not kind to her torn wing. Her doctor would not be happy with her regardless how short of a time she was sitting instead of laying down. She would need to apologize to them whenever they returned.
"I suppose for now, nothing changes very much. I can't leave the hospital for a while longer. When I am out. if you would allow me, I would enjoy spending time with you that isn't begun with such a serious tone. There are a few things Solenn--...ah, that would be your grandmother's name--could do with her lightning that I wonder if your bulbs could reenact. Not that I would be upset with you if they could not, it's simply...if you desire to be stronger still, I may have tips and ideas."
"...for now, though, it may be prudent that I rest. The longer I am speaking the later it will be before I can return to U.A," she breathed a soft chuckle, "This, at least, was worth the scolding I will receive. Should you pass Mikhail Orlov in the halls, ask him as politely as you can to give me a half hour of recovery before he barges in? And...mm. He will know why you're here. If he still asks feel free to give him an absurd answer."
Her lips curled into a very small smile.
"Thank you for coming to visit me, Ha...Miku-kun."

Miku kept silent when Hachi spoke about G. Miku knew damn well why he became a Vigilante, but she sure as hell wasnt gonna tell Hachi. Although, Miku did comment one thing "My dad is considering becoming a Pro Hero, so he asked me if he should be one. I told him no... I think he's better off as a Vigilante. Granted, I was only 1 vote. He still went off to ask other people. I dont know how his poll will end. But... ehh... we can talk about that some other time" Miku said She preffered G as a Vigilante, unbound by law and the goverment. She'd rather have Hachi as her Pro Hero and G as her Vigilante. Those two could make a great team in her eyes
Later Miku learned her grandmothers name... Solenn. Still Miku didnt know what to make of it, so she was still on the fence. People did fake being her parent, before. And well... she doubted Hachi would make something up, but still.... Miku didnt have any hopes. She just made peace that she'd never know her blood family. So hearing anything about them was just odd. She took the info with a grain of salt.
Still...Hachi was so sweet and who could say no to a godmother. Miku smiled a bit when Hachi finished talking "I will" she spoke regarding Serperior
After which Miku just gave a goodbye hug to Hachi and let her rest. Waving and saying goodbye to her godmother sensei
