If it wasn’t for the fact that Thundershock himself was the one making this request of him, Hideki would have outright refused the request. He wasn’t the type to lower himself to accepting this kind of request… let alone when it involved someone who would be considered a commoner if not for her true lineage. He was really in a tough spot regarding this, but he hadn’t missed a beat in accepting the man’s offer.
Hideki himself had never dealt with Thundershock directly, the request itself coming from his parents. Any ‘villainy’ tied to his name could never be tied to him, and thus not many people knew he was a part of the Kobayashi clan at all.
So there he was, standing by the entrance gate of the Planetary Studios amusement park dressed in black dress pants and a dark blue dress shirt. He looked like he should be wearing a suit, but had ditched the heavy clothing in favor of the breezier dress shirt. His sleeves were slightly rolled up to battle the head. In his hands he held a small white box wrapped with a light blue ribbon, it was about the length of a ruler, so there was still quite the sizeable gift inside.
As he stood there, waiting for his arranged date he would loosen the collar of his shirt a little bit, letting a light sigh escape his lips as he then pulled out his phone, glancing for any text messages that might indicate the girl changed her mind.

Ok, so the day came when she had to meet this fellow. He had her plant seeds. It was something she needed to further her Quirk and its power. Even though the boy was cute, this was strictly a business thing. Not a date. Just a one and done, hence why she didn't dress fancy at all. Her hair was tied in a ponytail together with a braid. She had her usual casual civilian outfit, a white sailor-like shirt with a blue ribbon and a very short white mini skirt with a light blue line. She had her pink backpack with a white ribbon and white penny loafers with white ankle socks. Under through white shirt she would always hide the black tank top with a cross in the front, that she always wears.
Miku was always prepared for a fight and for sudden villainy. So like the comic books of the olden days she had her hero-ish outfit underneath her civilian getup.Of course her pink backpack also had her bandana, and her plant seeds, along with miscellaneous things like books. Miku was always prepared to battle if need be. Because to her this was just another day, not a date.
As the blonde arrived to the destination she saw the boy in the distance. She thought to herself how to even talk to him? Formal or not? Well, one way to find out. Until then she'd wing it

Hideki had just put his phone back into his pocket, looking up to find a blond girl approaching him with a rather nervous demeanor about her. The way she dressed screamed commoner and deep down inside Hideki grunted at that. That was going to have to change at some point. He didn’t say anything at first, instead his eyes just looking her over with more curiosity to them than judgement.
He offered her a bright smile when she approached and greeted him. He would take a step forward and kindly reach for her hand, bringing it up to his lips and kissing the top of her hand gently. When he stood up straight again, he would then place the gift in the hand that he had taken, though hadn’t removed his own hands from hers yet.
“Miss Miku, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you. You’re just as beautiful as they say. I’ve gotten you a little gift, one from him, and the other one is from me. I was hoping you might wear it for our evening?”
Hideki stated kindly as only then would be let go of her hand to let her open the gift. If she opened it then and there, she would first fine a beautiful crystal hairpin. It was made of turquoise and so shone blue, and had a decorative flower on the end, a beautiful blue Lily. The other gift within the box would be individually wrapped seeds, a chemical label on top of each to not blatantly state what each plant was.

The first thing he did when she greeted him was kiss the top of her hand, which made her slightly blush, but she did manage to repress that. And then he placed a small gift in her hands, which she could only guess is the delivery she ordered. Huh, that Thunder... he really does things with style, right?
The boy greeted her back in a very polite and gentlemanly manner, but then he said something strange... one gift is from.. him? And he wants her to wear it... for the evening?!
"Ummmmmm" Miku's mind was a total blank, she hadn't expected that someone would try to... spend time with her. What could she do? Well, the best things would be to politely decline. R-Right?
"Thank you for this gift. You are most generous. But I am afraid that I am busy for the evening. I am sorry. I thought that you would just deliver the plant seeds to me" Miku said as she tried to just give him the most polite decline ever. She did honestly think he would just deliver what she ordered. She didnt expect this! Whatever this is.
And of course, the thing she said about the evening. It was a lie, she was free, she had nothing better to do. But who was she to go with some stranger whom she just met on a ... date. She's taken! She's with Akio! Even if he is M-I-A.... and soon to be dumped.

While Hideki’s smile remained on his face, he was trying very hard to suppress the eye twitch that threatened to give him away. He had to remind himself of just who this ‘commoner’ was and to stop thinking of her as such. It would make for a very long relationship if he didn’t get out of that mindset. He just shook his head head lightly, making a light shrugging motion with his elbows as he used his left hand to brush his hair back.
“How unfortunate, but if that’s what the lady wants I won’t press the matter. I wouldn’t exactly trust me either considering the circumstances that brought us here. Well, I hope the rest of your evening goes well then Miss Miku but if you are leaving then I must part as well and change a few reservations. “
He said with a mock tone of sadness in his voice. He wasn’t above using his monetary influence to push people into doing what he wanted, and in this case that was for Miku to accompany him on this date. He hoped that she would feel guilty having to make him do extra work, but even he felt that might not be enough to sway her.
“Oh before we part… It was really nice to see you. It’s not often I get to meet anyone outside my own school, and I’m sure it would have been fascinating to learn more about you. I hope we get to meet again, I’d very much like to become friends.”
He incentived as he offered her a polite bow before he would turn to the gate of the amusement park, retrieving an executive pass from his pocket which was only available to a select few.

God dammit Miku. Why do those guilt trippy words work on you? Were you really that pathetic and lonely? She then also noticed the executive pass and such. But Miku wasn't really interested in that... She couldn't be easily swayed by material things.... not much. But his words and he DID give her a gift and he did come all this way to give her stuff. Dammit Miku, why do you buckle from such lame persuasion skills?
"Ok... I guess we can spend some time together tonight... as friends. If you want that still?" she spoke and mentally regretted everything about this. But if she was gonna do this, she needed to lay it down on him. She wasnt looking for a boyfriend and she wasnt looking for a romance "But, if you're still up to do this. You should know, I won't consider this as a date. And neither should you. Because I already have a boyfriend"

She said her piece, now it was time Hideki to make his choice

There was a lot in there to persuade her to come with it, so exactly what did it he wasn’t sure but the fact was that she accepted to spend the evening with him. Whether they were friends or more didn’t really matter, they were at an amusement park after-all, so she’d have a hard time claiming it was anything other than a date.
He stopped walking away, looping the pass around his neck before turning to look back towards Miku with a renewed smile on his face. He would extend his hand towards her but stay firmly planted where he was.
“I never insisted we should be more than that my dear. I would love for you to join me and experience the park. Boyfriend or no, there’s no reason two friends can’t have an evening of fun, right? If he gives you any trouble, then you just direct him to me and I’ll explain everything. “
He assured her as he waited for Miku to either take his hand or to walk up and just join him by his side. He would then offer her the second executive pass he had in his other pocket, and with that the attendants didn’t even bat an eye before letting the two inside the park.
“You can call me Hideki by the way, sorry for the late introduction. I attend Horikoshi Gakuen which is probably why we’ve never met, you’re a U.A student right? I saw you on the Sports Festival Broadcast, you’re really amazing you know?”
He said kindly still as he led her inside the park. They were first greeted by the many gift shops that the theme park offered, selling everything from little bells, candies to full sized statuettes of the franchises characters. If Miku wanted to stop and see anything he would stop as well, but otherwise he would lead her further in, heading towards the exotic zoo area. Better to start things off slow before bringing her on any of the rides.

Miku took his hand and listened to him speak how 2 friends can't have an evening of fun. Miku wouldn't know, she was a bit of an introvert, the only friend she had was Haruuhi. But now Haruuhi is a sister not a friend. There's Rowan... but considering Miku had a bad encounter with her because of Nick, she just doubted she was friends with Rowan. Which would mean she's probably back to 0 friends. Because if she did have friends, they sure as hell preferred the UA chat rather then real life fun.
Maybe she could try and give this Hideki fellow a chance. He soon handed her an executive pass. She heard him properly introduce himself. And he said some interesting facts about himself, such as the high school that he attends. Although when he mentioned UA and the festival and how great she was, she had to stop him there;
"That's nice of you to say. But I'm really not that great. I'm not a good fighter,. And my Quirk is not that great either, If I were to use my Quirk to save someone, I would just cause property damage. Probably do more damage than the Villains. That's why I abandoned my wish to be a Rescue Hero, I'm just not good for it. Hero stuff will happen in town and urban areas, not forests. I mean, they will, but not as much. And I started doing combat training way too late." Miku said, she had to stop there as she didnt want to divulge why she started doing combat training later then the rest.
As they walked, she saw all the cool and neat gift shops. There were so many cool things. But she didn't come with any money, because she hadn't planned on staying here for long. And she was not the type to ask people. Sure Hideki seems rich, but she doesn't want to be the petty needy type that someone pitties. So she passed the gift shops and went further in to what seems like a zoo area. Oh no.. an EXOTIC zoo area

As Hideki and Miku walked passed the shops, Hideki was sure to keep an eye on the girl, all while leading her through the park. He could see her eyeing the shops, and made a mental note to stop on their way out to get her a little souvenir. He didn’t say anything now though, seeing as Miku herself wasn’t asking to stop kiand see what was there. Instead he would lead Miku through the zoo’s area of the park. This probably felt more like her element, tall trees and wildflowers blooming at every corner. All the animals were in pens that were sunk down instead of having build glass cages around them. There were still fences of course, but this allowed spectators to get a better view of the animals without bothering them.
The first creatures they would come across were the large cats. On one side you had two adult leopards and 4 cubs, while on the other you had lions. Up ahead, you could see a sign indicating the tigers pen. Hideki led her first towards the leopards prowling about in the brush below. He would look over at Miku as she spoke down on her abilities and Hideki just shook his head, smiling as he leaned on the gate as if he would look at the animals, but his eyes were only on her.
“Don’t put yourself down so much, I think you’d make for an amazing rescue hero. I’m going to guess you’re surrounded by a bunch of fire breathing brutes that make you think that pure strength in the answer to all your problems, right?”
He asked curiously, smirking as he could picture exactly what the more… vulgar heroes were like. He honestly expected it from a group of commoners trying to climb up too high. Hed also seen them on the broadcast, and didn't think of their skills as very heroic.
“ It isnt all about brute strength it's also about control and what you can do with your abilities. if you have great hero gear as well that will really help you in urban terrains compared to Forest terrains. Do you know anybody who can make some hero gear for you that'll let you carry whatever kind of plants you need to use around cuz I'm sure that if you grow roots you can control the trajectory more so than someone spit in fire balls can. I really do think you have great potential Miku don't think so little of yourself, I can definitely help you think of solutions to make you the best hero you could possibly want to be.”
He said encouragingly as he never removed his eyes from the girl. It was probably strange for a villain to encourage a hero to become better but in this case Hideki wasn't exactly the kind of villain that thunder shock was.

The zoo area was very pretty and nature was blooming everywhere! But the animals, they were too cuuuute. The cubs were so cute! They were leopards, two adults which were most likely the parents and the two most adorable cubs! Miku also saw lions! And then there was a place up ahead which was apparently a tigers den, as thats what was the sign that Miku saw.
She noticed that Hideki then looked at her and totally focused onto her when she spoke the cold hard truth that she actually isn't good at all. Hideki was then actually very supportive of her, and very nice. He actually cheered her up and was there for her... Unlike Akio who was nowhere to be seen.
Ok, maybe Miku is jumping the shark as she just met this guy. But still, he seemed very pleasant to be with.
"Huh, yeah. I guess you're right. More of less they are fire breathing brutes. I did face a student who had a flamethrower against me. And then the so called number 1 student who insta attacked me and tried to....."she skipped that and went to talk about the german heroes "Then the Adler German heroes who ganged up on me at a 2 on 1. There were... quite a few things that went wrong for me" Miku said and sighed.
She didnt want to think about the event. She considered it a huge bust. She felt like a stepping stone for some arrogant people who would get a big ego boost. Meanwhile she was... nothing. But once again, just hearing Hideki cheer her up made Miku smile. She was also surprised hearing that Hideki would help her with thinking about solutions
"You would do that?" she asked in disbelief as she simply didn't understand why he would do that. Was that a joke? They barely just met. So why?

She still looked so down, and Hideki couldn’t help the urge to comfort her… it was a strange sensation, one that he rarely felt unless it was his younger sister… Still, as she continued to be in disbelief over her own skill he would reach over and gently place his hand on Miku’s head.
“They don’t sound like Heroes to me.”
He said pretty simply, petting her head gently before returning to leaning on the fence for fear of looking like a total creep.
“The U.A students… the first wave of heroes… from what I saw, there aren’t many of them really cut out to be calling themselves Heroes. They still think it’s all a contest of strength, like all villains will act like Thundershock and make themselves a huge target you have to fight head on. There’s villains you have to defeat with deceit, some with speed, stealth. There are so many skills a Hero needs and they don’t have any of that. From what I heard, you’ve been snooping around the boss man and playing right into his hands, pretty smart if you ask me.”
Hideki added with no hint of disdain, but he made it very clear that he had a good idea of what she was doing. He also knew what Thundershock was doing in regards to Miku however, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was interesting to watch, and now that he was involved, that much more interesting.
“Keep going for your dream of being a rescue Hero, they’re going to be so much more useful than those brutes. Don’t compare yourself to them.”
He continued then just chuckled when she asked if he would actually go over ideas for her. He nodded as he turned his back to the fence, moving towards the Lions now instead, then over to the tigers as they walked.
“Sure, why not? I asked you to be friends didn’t I, so why not spend some time together by working on some of your Hero qualities? For starters, you need pouches~ probably on your hips or legs maybe with some of those seeds planted inside. I imagine if you have soil for them, you can make them grow pretty quickly yeah?”
He suggested as he then brought a hand up to his collar once more, loosening it a bit more as the heat was already starting to get to him. It wasn’t all that hot out yet, but within the walls of the zoo it was getting pretty stuffy for a man made of snow.

He pat her on the head, which made her blush. Miku did her best not to show it. She managed to hide it relatively well. But gosh was she embarrassed. Luckily he didn't see her blush as he went back to lean on the fence. He spoke how you can't just brute force to win against a villain, sometimes you gotta use strategy and deceit. Something she agreed with. He then brought up what she was doing with Thunder.
Miku didn't know if she should she tell him or not. But she decided to mostly keep it to herself
"Thanks. I just kinda winged it." Miku said, but not too much. As she still is getting to know Hideki. He seemed nice. But didn't quite know where his allegiance was. He did give her those plant seeds, which she ordered from Thunder. But, he also seemed to be incredibly supportive to her... a hero. She didn't know where to place him. He was like a Grey zone.
He encouraged her to go on and be a rescue hero if she dreams of that, and mentioned how rescue heroes are much more useful than those other brutes. And he gave her more ideas on what to do. Miku nodded, she didn't have anything to write it down. But she made sure to memorize it.
"Thanks for everything" she then noticed him loosening his collar, which just reminded her of her own clothes "Oh... um... sorry about this. I-I didn't know that I'd stay at the amusement park like this. I just dressed casually."
She felt she was inappropriately dressed. If she was gonna stay at the amusement park and hang out this long, she would've dressed better.

Hideki just laughed lightly, waving his hand in dismissal as she thanked him to make it look like it was no big deal at all. Honestly, he truly felt that heroes were needed for society to grow, they were a good investment in his eyes and would become a good source of revenue. The world needed balance, and for that to happen you needed heroes and villains.
As he tugged at the collar of his shirt, Miku quickly apologised for being under dressed and at first that confused him. Yeah sure she was dressed like any old commoner but that had nothing to do with him loosening his collar? He was thinking only of his quirk when it dawned on him that he probably always dressed ‘better’ than the commoners. Right. Well, he wasn't about to waste the opportunity that presented itself.
“Well, why don't we explore the park a little more, then before we go to dinner we can get you changed into something nice. Father has a penthouse at the back of the park where he can overlook the affairs of the park if needed. We can take a break there.”
He suggested kindly, his body cooling itself off a bit more with a little push of his quirk. Hed literally seem to sparkle for a moment as snow made a quick pass around him to cool him.

Hideki suggested about exploring the park a bit more. He then said that before dinner she could change into something 'nice'. He then mentioned a penthouse that his father owns that's at the back of the park. That was something that caught her by surprise. But nothing would be as surprising as the item inside the box. That's right, Miku as she spoke just now went to open the gift box that Hideki gave her at the beginning of their meeting, she thought it'd be rude not to open it

It just felt strange that someone would just go through all that effort to do all this. She thought him inviting her to spend time was weird. She felt that it was strange that someone would invite her to their probably expensive and vip penthouse to play dress up. She found it incredible that someone took the time to individually wrap each plant seed in the way it was. She was mindblown in every way shape and form.
But soon snapped out of it
"I... wow..umm.. thank you. Y-You shouldn't have"

She still sounded so unsure as she held her silence after his suggestion to get her changed. Yet when she spoke, she seemed reluctant to agree with him, stopping mid sentence which caused Hideki to look over to her to make sure that she was alright.
“If it makes you too uncomfortable you can say no. I apologize if I'm coming on a little too strongly.”
He said quickly in Hope's to let Miku relax a little more. He was well aware of the differences in etiquette and mannerisms between their classes and how intimidating it could be to face someone like him. While he normally relished this sensation… he couldn't this time, he had to turn it down and make sure the rest of this “not a date” went well.
Miku finally addressed him again, thanking him for the gift she now held in her hands. Sure the hairpin was his idea, but he knew how symbolic it would be to the boss as well, so if they ever met he sure hoped she was wearing it. He would just offer her a kind smile though as she thanked him.
“Maybe I shouldn't, but I wanted to. A beauty like yours is rare, I wanted to give you a little something that might help you display that. I'd gotten to see you on the festival broadcast and learned a little bit about you due to the other part of the gift so… I dont know, it seemed like the most appropriate course of action.”
He stated kindly as they stopped to see a few more animals, pet a few deer and alpaca before leaving the zoo area. Thank God, it was absolutely stifling in there, and if he hadn't been able to freeze his own sweat before it affected his clothes he would be soaked.
As they stepped out they would make their way over towards the roller coasters, taking a ride on only a few of the high adrenaline rides before taking a few more relaxed ones. It was quite the fun time, but finally the sun began its descent and Hideki would look at the time.
He ushered Miku towards the penthouse if she would let him, catching a ride on the small train that travelled from one end of the park to the next. When they finally arrived he would lead her inside, retrieving his electronic key and granting them access to the penthouse.
The entrance was rather simple, like the entrance to a hotel. They walked back towards the elevator and up they went to the top floor. As the doors opened again it would reveal what looked like a rich gamers heaven. There were framed game poste on the walls released by Sphere Enix, a 70inch tv taking up a good chunk of the wall with all sorts of systems set up to it. Otherwise there were the basics, sofa, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. To Hideki, this place was super simple.
“ Here we are. Let's see what kind of outfit we can find you.”
He said as he would then head towards the bedrooms. It was up to Miku then if she waited outside or followed him.
