Niso smirked as Recoil continued to try and put on some great villain act and watched him with interest, finding his personality engaging to say the least and quietly enjoying every second of his act. With the two of them seeming to be on the same page, Alfonso and Recoil that was, Niso at least made sure everything was clear. "I told him he'd need to maybe give up a bit of muscle fibre but he's fully aware that you're going to take a piece of him at the very least." He winked at Recoil and added. "Nothing you'll miss, don't worry.~"
At the question of recoil being a mutation, Niso pursed his lips as he thought for a moment. "Think he lies more on the emitter end of the scale, but a man who can re-direct forces like he can...well, if you're looking to make some great human race with your mutation research doctor, the ability to re-direct negative forces is bound to be useful, so I definitely think I found you a good catch.~" He smirked nice and wide, hoisting himself up onto the nearest surface he could use as a seat. "At the very least, i'd be happy to offer a bit more muscle if you don't find him interesting enough. Either way, i promised you'd fix him.~"

Recoil remained silent for most of their conversation as he laid on a table, he could understand them loud and clear for the most part. But he decided it better if he just pretended that he didn't, in fact he decided it was better to just try and think of anything else but right now. Just the thought of an old man harvesting his muscle tissue didn't sit well with him and sent a chill down his spine, at least for once this kid... Niso... Niso was his name right? He couldn't remember by this point since things had been moving so fast. At least from what he understood he was keeping his promise, and didn't out his facade, that has means something r-right? As he laid his back flat on the table, with both his arms laid to the side he closed his eyes, which one probably wouldn't be able to see past the mask, and began to start the game of "Let's get out of this stressful scenario  " 'Let's uh-uh think of something different... Your talking to a cute girl on Caper, gonna take her to a sushi place in a week or so... Uh... Lived a punch from the hero Red Horn... That's good...' Anywhere else was better than here in his eyes. |

Taking the information in from Niso, it seemed as though that this 'Recoil' seemed worth at least taking a short look at. He may have been an emitter, but his quirk sounded similar to both Niso and Alfonso, control over parts of the body – it would be useful in terms of studying all three of their parts to get an accurate reading on whether or not there was a link. That, while important, was not the current focus. “I'm fine with working on him, but t-t-try not to make promises.” he said to Niso, as he moved over to a seat out of the way, a place where he could watch, seeing as he was curious enough. Just so long as he didn't interfere, he'd be fine. Getting ready for the procedure, Alfonso moved over to Recoil who was laying on the table, and picked up a scalpel. “Let's begin, shall we?” he said.
The surgical tools moved through the arm of the injured man swiftly; Recoil was so confident in himself but yet hid himself behind a mask, it was confusing to the doctor. At least when Alfonso did it, he was protecting his identity or working. Wearing a cover-up of your face just seemed... weird to him. Why bother hiding behind things when your work is what counts? Take pride, dammit. In the meantime, Alfonso sneakily took some scissors and snipped a small part of the arm, taking a little strand of muscle. “Thank you for your payment” he said: “Your arm should be feeling better by now, b-but it's n-not done yet. I still need to stop the bleeding. Think of something n-n-nice, like living.”

With the doctor operating on his patient’s brutalized limbs Niso idly wondered how well he himself could take a punch from redhorn. While the person before him could redirect damage, he himself could re-arrange his organs with some clever tugging from the muscles around them, and promoting the growth or shrinkage of certain veins and arteries so he best moved his organs without creating an issue that he’d later regret. He felt his healing factor would play a big part in tanking a punch, plus you actually received a lot less physical harm if you ragdolled like he could by pulling his bones out of their sockets, but ultimately…it wasn’t an experience he was gonna test any time soon. He made a faint ‘bleh’ noise in the back of the operating room, the idea of having to taste blood in his lungs for a few weeks not a pleasant one if he were to take a punch from that beast.
“Hm?” He lifted his head as the doc addressed him, waving his hand. “Oh come on you managed to work on me I’m sure you’ll be fine…then again I don’t die so easily so for all I know you coulda killed me. GOOD LUCK RECOIL!~” He chanted from the back of the room, giving him two big thumbs up and a very cheeky grin as he let Recoil see for himself the doctor’s work with a very mixed idea of if the reviews were positive or negative.
As the operation work went on he’d idly peer over at it, undeterred by any opening of skin and flesh and very used to it given his own body and the damage he could put it through. He lazily rolled his neck back on his shoulders, drawn back to reality by the good doctor making it clear he’d taken his payment, Niso snickering a little as he didn’t seem to even ask where he wanted the tissue to be taken from. “Hey I wonder if we cut off a limb, and punch it, could he still make himself feel it in a limb he still has? I mean if my muscle tissue is still ‘alive’ for a little while after leaving my body it makes sense his quirk should still work a little too!~” His idea was majorly a joke and very clearly so, but his morbid curiosity also had him wanting to tear recoil apart solely to test the idea.

As Alfonso went to work Matthew pretended to look away instead focusing on anything else in the room besides the people who he was with, that was bloody, or anything that didn't look absolutely-positively mortifying. It was a small blessing that in the farthest corner of the room there was this nice empty spot near the ceiling as two walls met in the corner, it was a perfect place free of the blood and barbarity that was currently happening to Matthew. There was another small blessing to be had during the operation, for most of it he couldn't really feel any pain in fact he couldn't feel much coming from his arm for a bit now. Weird.
Matthew was unsure of how to read it when Niso wished him good luck, on one hand Niso was being optimistic which gave him hope, on the other Niso was absolutely fucking insane which made him lose hope. Either way Matthew ended about the same way he started with Niso's reassurance; terrified and begging his kidneys weren't stolen.
Matthew's mouth felt clamped shut during most of their remarks, he wanted this over and done with in the quickest way possible and he'd rather not risk extending it by precious seconds with some banter. Still, a cold shiver went up his spine upon hearing the old man extracted his payment. "I hope you find it suitable... And I was already on it." He managed to spit out trying really hard to pretend right now wasn't happening. Niso's joke also was lost on the unappreciative villain, who found it both inconsiderate and petrifying all in one; A real winner this one.
Meanwhile he waited for the doctor to fix up his bleeding so he could skedaddle the heffle out of this god-forsaken lucid nightmare he was in.
