In the bordering room, which was more like a lounge than an office, the manager of the record company plus the CEO and their internal security advisor had gathered. Calling in security prospects one at a time. Most were simply regular security dudes, meant to check tickets, sort parking, clear fire escapes and such. A few were heroes, whose salaries were naturally much higher. Therefore the processes with this particular part was slow, though the government did assist with some of the payments. The last few prospects hadn't even been proper heroes on paper, thus they had been rather quickly removed from the establishment. It has to be official! Had been shouted at the last one, as a younger female quickly fled the area. Apparently it hadn't quite sunk in with everyone what a hero on duty meant.
The security manager then pulled up his checklist to announce hte next person they'd be talking to. Standing in the corridor, he was a tiny man, with a large barespot on top. Two larger tufts of black hair, glasses, and frontal teeth that seemed way too large for his build otherwise. Strange... Even stranger was the fact, that this odd appearance had nothing to do with quirks. "Mikhail Orlov, you're next. Please enter." The CEO of the company was overly pompous, clearly trying to look like a superstar. Perhaps being around idols had made him more aware of his own image, and looking inferior to them putting a bit of pressure on his own selfesteem. The final, general manager, was the least outstanding of the trio. Just professional, calm, mostly quiet. The meeting progressed as one might've expected. First, they went over his qualifications as a hero. Government sanctioned and everything, his feats weren't unimpressive either. Being one of the people involved in shutting down the terror at Tokyo5 was a fairly big boon in their eyes, as simply putting the name 'Serperior' out there ought to scare away some of the potential dangers.
Then there was the fact that he was a former idol himself. It meant he knew the industry, what was expected. It also meant he likely related to their little diva in a better way than most security. Rin had been complaining about the security guard whom she couldn't relate to at all. The girl wanted a security guard she felt comfortable around, not a stone statue to follow her everywhere! As the meeting progressed, they seemed more and more content with having him on board. Therefore, after about fifteen minutes or so of pleasant exchanges, he was given the final task. Pass through the door to the bar area to meet up with the idol herself. As long as she was pleased with having him as security at the event, there'd be no issues. The door loomed ahead of him, with an unknown behind it. Perhaps Serperior knew a few things about Scarlett, but he surely couldn't predict exactly who she was... In fact, perhaps he knew more of Rin, than he did of the idol persona...?
