Goro’s worries had apparently been misplaced, as he was allowed onto the plane without any kind of real check on what he was carrying with him. God, they didn’t even have a metal detector for the guards. Had they been paid off? Thunder’s goons had barely communicated any details about the plan beyond what he would be responsible for, so he had no idea either way.
At the very least, he knew to wait until they were out of Japan’s borders to strike. They’d told him that much. Despite how fucking loud it was outside, Goro still eventually managed to fall asleep while sitting upright. At this point, he didn’t care if the other guards would think he was ‘unprofessional’, if his cover got blown early it’d just mean they could end it earlier.
And, thank God again, he didn’t dream of anything the whole time. No nightmares of Mother tearing his insides out, of her enforcers knocking on his door and dragging him back to England, just a comfortable darkness.
That was all he experienced for the next seven hours. A comfortable silence that wasn’t broken suddenly, but instead slowly faded back to reality. He blinked wearily, his eyes still adjusting to the shade cast by the goggles and his body reminding itself of the great weight covering it.
He couldn’t fucking take it anymore, and since they’d finally passed the border he didn’t need to. Without looking over at her, Goro gave a signal over to Nari, pointing her toward the guy with his hand on his pistol. He must’ve let his guard down over the last few hours, and Nari’s Quirk was better for dealing with him fast.
As soon as he could confirm she’d got the signal, in one swift motion he pulled his knife from his backpack and stabbed the guard next to him in the hand, aiming to keep it stuck into the seat for now. The motion triggered his wing armour to activate, shredding the bag into pieces as both wings spread to their full width for the first time that day. A metal package dropped hard onto Goro’s seat as the last of the bag fell away, but he didn’t pay it any mind for the moment. He’d need it once Nick was free.
With one of the guy’s arms pinned down, Goro’s wing flew to slam his other away, should he attempt to take a swing. Finally, Goro aimed a punch square at the man’s jaw. trying to knock him out.
He hadn’t even thought about it until the last hit. Why was he going for a non-lethal approach? This wasn’t the time or the place for it, why didn’t he just stab him-
Izumi’s face appeared in his mind. The feeling of cold steel enveloping him, of the boy’s synthesized voice pleading with him to escape. Somehow, he couldn’t bring himself to break his promise to that damned robot. At least, not unless he had to.

The air in the plane was very lax. The guards either sleeping or just minding their own business, keeping themselves entertained for the very long flight over to England. One of the guards would finally vanish towards the lavatory, while the other one slept. As soon as Goro woke up though, the Guard would smirk and issue a chuckle.
“It’s almost as if you haven’t slept all night. Good thing I know- FUCK” All of a sudden Goro would stand, shredding the back hiding his wings, and stabbing a knife down into his hand, successfully pinning it to the seat underneath. He cried out in pain and immediately reached for the gun on his hip. Before he could reach it though his hand was thrust away, exposing the pistol, communication device and sheathed knife on his belt.
“CODE ORANGE”
The man yelled out in hopes of the pilots hearing him. That’s when he made another attempt to move, reaching to pull the knife out of his hand while simultaneously aiming a kick towards Goro. Since Goro was standing and the guard was sitting, that meant the kick was heading for his nether regions.
Another hit came from Goro however, pinning him back down to the seat and disorienting him, though it wasn’t quite enough to knock him out. His vision grew fuzzy, and for a moment he didn’t move.
Meanwhile in the cockpit, the pilots heard the code loud and clear, the co-pilot immediately jumping on the radio and repeating the distress call.
“Mayday Mayday Mayday, this is FrontLiner Niner Niner; We have a Code Orange; We’ve got clear skies and are taking her down. Current Coordinates 50.333989, 69.090473; Requesting immediate interference on landing. Carrying dangerous villain to England…” The call would go on and get repeated as many times as they could. The pilot would eventually stand up from his seat as the pilot took the plane into a nose dive towards the ground.
The Co-Pilots body would soon take on a dark brown tint and assume the properties of stone as he moved to ensure the bolted door to the cockpit stayed that way.
Back in Japan, Thundershock would receive Kyoko’s message and look at the words curiously. What had she managed to get from this little excursion? He had to admit that curiosity got the best of him as he returned her message, asking her to meet with him in 48hrs time back at the underground mansion. It would take time for Nick to get here to begin with, let alone the long ass drive back to Tokyo.

It would seem the plane ride was going rather smoothly, already about seven or so hours in and nothing to worry about, yet Nari had to stay on her toes, ready for whenever it was time to strike. She would have loved to have taken a nap like good ol' Goro in the corner, but she wasn't one to doze off during a mission, it would likely get you killed if you weren't careful. Although, things were starting to get interesting once she saw a signal from the bat boy out of the corner of her eye behind the goggles. Looks like it was showtime.
Nari watched as Goro pulled out a knife and proceeded in stabbing one of the guard's hands, pinning him to the seat as a measure so the other wouldn't readily get up. If Goro got to attack, what was stopping Nari from having some fun of her own? Three guards to knock out, this was child's play. While he was dealing with one guard, Nari sprung up and removed the mask from her mouth before lunging her tongue at one of the guards who was aiming to attack Goro from behind, latching onto his neck and letting her quirk work it's magic. The lamprey tongue excreted acid which was more than enough to burn through the guard's clothes and reveal his unguarded skin to her to which her tongue latched on and began draining the guard of his blood, loosing liters of his precious crimson life source in seconds.
Nari turned her head for a split second, seeing Goro faltering in killing the guard he had pinned down. "What are you waiting for? Just do it!" She shouted before seeing another figure out of the corner of her eye. Nari quickly retracted her tongue and pulled away as the one guard pulled out a gun, aiming to shoot Nari. It was dangerous to shoot on an air plane due to it's confined space and various mechanical components that could explode if that bullet went haywire. She had to take him out before he got to her first. With Goro preoccupied, she had to deal with crony #2 on her own. Nari lunged her tongue out and knocked the gun out of the guard's hand, her reaction times faster than that of the guard's movements, disarming him and giving Nari an opening. Nari dove towards the now defenseless guard and knocked him down onto the plane's floor, revealing his face behind his mask and lunging her tongue out at him, draining this poor sucker just like she had done with the last one. Once Goro took care of that one guard, then they would have to take care of the pilots and get Nick. A small break was in order for Nari, and drinking the blood of her enemies was just the break she needed. Pure euphoria.

The moment the punch landed, Goro’s arm shot down to the guard’s waist and wrenched the knife from his belt. He paused a moment, looking it over, before letting go of the weapon embedded in the guard’s hand, instead lifting the metal package and slamming it into his face. Hard enough to hurt, hopefully hard enough to finally put him out, but not enough to kill. Serpentine’s yell pulled his attention away for a moment, but unfortunately all she succeeded in doing was making the image of Izumi’s face in his mind just that more vivid. At least she’d taken down the other two guards, though a little messier than Goro would’ve liked. With the guards all unconscious or dead, all the risks the two faced now were less immediate. He breathed a sigh of relief and finally let his wings relax a little. Of course, he was all too aware they didn’t have the time to just stand around. He had business with Nick, so it’d be up to Serpentine to deal with the pilot. Carefully, with his knife hand, Goro pulled his goggles off and checked over the item in his other hand. Sure, it’d been dropped and swung around a fair bit already, but he was certain he’d built it to be sturdy enough to take it. After all, it was a replacement for Nick’s arm. An idiot like him was definitely going to need something that could take a lot of punishment. Of course, it wasn’t just a regular prosthetic. He’d built quite a few features into it, in fact Goro would consider it his finest work of art yet; haptic feedback good enough to replicate actual sensation fairly decently, and combat functions that, unfortunately, wouldn’t be at all useful in such an enclosed space. Goro held the artificial arm up by its’ shoulder, and motioned over to the cockpit, the wrist clicking backwards slightly from the momentum. No sense in making noise, and giving the pilot any warning on who they’ll be dealing with. As Serpentine hopefully listened to him and followed his directions, Goro headed for the back of the plane. “You better be grateful.” He muttered to Nick, laying the arm out on the chair next to him. The combat knife he’d stolen from the guard looked to be far sharper than his own blade, and upon closer inspection it seemed there was a little more to it. Namely, a switch at the base of its handle. Goro flipped it on casually, only to flinch as the outer rim of the blade hummed to life, turning a bright red. The heated blade made short work of Nick’s restraints. It took a few slices to get it through the chains on his arm, and quite a few attempts to get through the metal encircling his legs. Finally, he came to the waist restraint, and winced slightly as the knife edge sliced through Nick’s prison clothes, only barely missing the skin underneath. A voice in Goro’s head whispered to shove it forward, to just save himself the trouble later and deal with his brother now, but he ignored it, instead pulling Nick to his feet with his free arm. “Luckily for you, this doesn’t require much set-up for you. You just have to jam it into your stump and it’ll start working.” He handed Nick the arm, the irritation at having to watch his latest and greatest creation be attached to his brother clear in his tone.

Nick slumped in his chair. Words pounded in his head like the world’s loudest drum: failure, wretch, disgrace. Over and over and over.
Then, all hell broke loose.
Nick’s head jerked up sharply as his ‘captors’ finally chose that moment to act. He blinked. What a turn of events. It was like being treated to his very own action movie.
“Careful with that!” he hissed as Goro approached him with the knife. Thankfully, by some miracle Goro managed to cut the chains without cutting the individual they were wrapped around. He huffed as they fell away. “Took you long enough to bloody well do something, didn’t it?” His words lacked their usual venom, however.
Whatever else he was going to say was lost to him as Goro did the absolute last thing he expected and presented him a brand new arm. He was left staring like a gormless idiot for several seconds too long.
Slowly, his remaining hand reached over to Goro’s creation. His fingers brushed against it tentatively for a moment, getting a feel of what it was made from, then closed around it. He fixed the new arm into place and moved it up and down. His face lit up like a child with a brand new games console. “It actually works!”
Oh, how he had missed the sensation of having two functioning arms. He was so filled with stupid, grinning joy he was unable to resist waving the arm around and flexing it.
He caught sight of his brother again and lowered the arm as he looked away. “Goro...” He knew what words he had to say, they were right there in his throat, and yet getting them out was a task akin to pulling a lorry across a desert using only a rope and his teeth. “Thank you.” The blow what remained of his pride took upon uttering those words almost caused him to physically retch.

It seemed while the two brothers bonded in the back, it was up to Nari to take care of the job. Always stuck doing other people's work. Nari would assume there was a trap waiting for her on the other side of the door leading to where the pilots were. This wasn't as simple as going in and knocking them out right off the bat, no, it would be a bit harder to do than that. Unless they managed to put the plane in autopilot, if that was something that could be done, one pilot had to be flying the plane while the other kept watch in case they tried to attack. It would be risky, but she didn't know how else to get inside. Nari approached the cabin door and veered around the corner, examining what material was made out of. It couldn't hurt to try, and they were running low on time, the plane was already beginning an early descent.
Nari stretched her tongue out and clamped onto the door, using her new ability to see if she could burn a hole through the door to the other side. Nari concentrated, focusing on secreting enough acid from her tongue to be able to breech a small spot into the door. It tasted gross, but it seemed to be working, slowly but surely. The material of the door must have been weaker than iron, allowing Nari to burrow a hole inside. Coming close to the other side of the door, she felt another force from the other side, perhaps the other guard was blocking anyone from entering. So this is their idea of protection. Her quirk was discrete in most ways, allowing her to get away with most crimes she had done. After a few minutes, the material of the door melted away from the acid and her tongue came in contact with a different sort of material, some form of stone.
Just as before, Nari latched onto this stone and began corroding away the stone, was this the pilot's quirk? The brunette soon struck gold, or blood to be more specific. Draining the pilot of his blood would be rather easy, give or take a minute, the three of them, well more like just her, would have access to pilot's cabin. Nari approached the door, giving her tongue a bit of a break from stretching feeling the body her tongue was connected to start to fall away from the door, not entirely but enough to know her quirk was doing it's job. Nari slipped her tongue back and prepared to force open the door, finding that it was a push for her and not a pull. Nari glared back to the two bonding brothers in the back of the plane, enough was enough, it was time for them to do something. "I hope you've had a good bonding session, but right now I need you to help force this door open lest we let this mission fail because of you two!" Nari barked, practically glaring daggers at the two brothers.

Goro did his absolute best to ignore Nick’s jabs as he freed him from his bonds, just gritting his teeth and continuing on with the job. It did tempt him toward ‘accidentally’ slicing the skin under said bonds, but not enough for him to actually do the deed.
Despite everything that had led up to this moment, all the research and work that went into manufacturing that beautiful piece of technology, Goro had no idea if it was going to play nicely with his brother. After all, simple haptic feedback integration was a whole different ball game than fully mapping artificial nerves. He had no idea if it’d even move under Nick’s will to begin with, if he’d be able to feel through it.
That was why, when it actually moved, when a smile spread wide across Nick’s face, Goro was taken so by surprise that he actually reciprocated it, if only for a moment. That innocent smile quickly turned to a more usual twisted grin as Nick struggled out a thank you. Before he could figure out a snippy reply, however, they were interrupted by Serpentine shouting from the front end.
“Shut up!” He yelled back, leaping away from Nick and rushing to the cockpit door. With an aggravated grunt, he stabbed the still-glowing knife into the door, cutting a much larger hole from the small one Serpentine had made… somehow. However she’d done that, he wasn’t going to ask.
A sudden rush of sound from the cockpit alerted him to the copilot’s current position, and more importantly the state of his skin, and he rolled his eyes.
“Serpentine, I believe he may have been one of us. Perhaps your breath would’ve been better spent communicating with him, rather than bitching us out.” He muttered, before stabbing the knife into the door’s lock, practically tearing it off its hinges as he pushed it open.
There was one last thing he’d left in his bag, that he’d picked up alongside the arm. A small USB stick that Thunder’s goon had left with him. While he let Nari (and maybe Nick, if he got his act together) deal with the other pilot, Goro jammed the USB into the plane’s autopilot and sat in the pilot’s seat. They’d told him it contained a program that’d hack the plane and divert it’s course somewhere, and while he hadn’t checked it himself there wasn’t any reason for Thunder or his goons to lie about such a thing if they were going to so much trouble to get them onto this plane in the first place.

The pilot holding the door with his reinforcement quirk was doing a fine job! If… the person on the other side was trying to bash their way through the door. However, that wasn’t the case at all. One of the downsides to a stone skin quirk was the loss of sensation, so he never felt it whenever Nari’s tongue touched his stone fresh. He only felt it when the blood started to escape his body and he was quickly starting to feel weak.
He reached up to swat the spot on his body that the source of the discomfort was coming from but when he reached Nori’s tongue, he could do nothing to latch onto it, and could barely move well enough to break the connection. Slowly his stone skin began to fade as he grew drowsy, first tired, then it became difficult to breath, a pain in his chest as he would soon collapse from the blood loss. This left only the one pilot to control the plane, but soon even that pilot was on his feet and backing the hell away from the controls.
For a moment the plane would start to nosedive with no one at the helm, but with Goro’s quick movements and insertion of the USB stick, the plane would right itself once more and promptly change it’s trajectory back towards Japan.
He took the headset from his ears and threw it onto the floor, stepping on it with a small whirl of fire swirling around his foot as he smashed it. With no one listening in, it was finally time to speak up.
“You probably could of made it a little less messy… Shit what the hell is wrong with you kids.” The pilot stated as he looked over to the copilot on the floor with a frown. He kept his hands up the entire time to show them that he meant no harm, and was sure not to move from his corner.
“There are 3 parachutes in the compartment behind the winged guy, you guys are going to hop off the plane over Thunder’s drop point since I’ve got a plane to crash.” He instructed them, wondering if they would even listen to him at all. Did they know that was the plan? Or was this a play it by ear thing? Thunder wasn’t known for divulging the full extent of his plans to anyone after-all.
[We can now skip to them parachuting off the plane and over the old abandoned School Thunder’s waiting for them in]

Nari glared back at Goro, just who did this stuck up British piece of shit was yelling at? Some high and mighty thinking uptight mama's boy....Nari bit her lip, couldn't go off on him now, that wasn't part of the mission. Nari watched as Goro went to work on the door, almost missing what the other said under his breath, she stayed quiet for now, doing her best not to lash out and slice his throat open right there even though it wouldn't be too hard to do so. Once Goro had managed to get the door open, Nari walked in to see a seemingly pissed off looking pilot gazing at her as well as his buddy lying unconscious on the floor. Hearing the pilot speak up after he had destroyed his headset, Nari had some words of her own, "It's not like I did enough to kill him, geesh you people are so over dramatic," Nari said, folding her hands over her chest as she looked down to the unconscious copilot on the floor. "Although, with how the rest of the plan is supposed to go down, who knows if the poor guy will make it," Nari said with a shrug, turning and looking at the other pilot.
Soon enough, it was time to enact the final part of the plan since they were approaching the drop point where Thunder was waiting on the ground below. The pilot had mentioned there were three parachutes waiting for her, Goro, and Nick as he was being a good captain and 'going down with his ship'...or airplane in this case. Nari went over and securely strapped a parachute onto her back and tossed the other two over to the bickering brothers. Thankfully this mission was almost over, then she could go back to her secluded lifestyle, no more helping other people. Once they were over the drop point, the pilot opened the door and looked to the Nari and the brothers as if signaling them off. Nari turned back to the brothers with a smirk on her face, "It's jump time ladies~" the brunette said before leaping out of the plane, something she never thought she would do before.
The feeling of the air quickly rushing past her face and the falling feeling was quite exhilarating to the brunette, finding herself screaming and laughing with pure joy, mixed with a hint of sadistic pleasure, as she began her drop to the ground. She'd have to do this again some other time, perhaps even convincing her mother to come along as well! As the three got close and closer to the ground, Nari steered clear of the other two and pulled her parachute, feeling herself rise up a bit with the sudden pull of her string before falling a bit more slowly than her initial drop but still quite fast. Wouldn't want to splat to the ground now, that wouldn't be fun and quite a waste of a free skydiving trip. "Best. Day. Ever!" Nari called out, laughing wickedly as she saw the other two release their parachutes as well, soon descending upon where Thunder was waiting for them at.

Goro caught the parachute and rolled his eyes, but strapped it on as best he could anyway. Part of him wanted to just throw the pack to the floor and let his wings carry him, but he’d never attempted a jump from such a height, at such speeds before, and he didn’t want to risk it.
He didn’t wait a second longer than Serpentine before leaping from the aircraft. His wings completely flat against his back, he barely even reacted throughout the whole trip to the ground. Sure, he was going a lot faster than usual, but nothing he was feeling was anything new to him. Of course, Serpentine was having the time of her life, but he could only barely hear her hooting and hollering over the wind rushing past his ears.
He was almost thankful when the trip down ended, pulling his parachute with a sigh and floating to the ground as carefully as he could, eventually landing upright without so much as losing his balance.
“Thunder’s waiting for us here, isn’t he? Better get this over with quickly…” He muttered, waiting for his brother to land. He felt a slight hope that Nick would fail to open his parachute on time and would become a red stain on the ground, and he chuckled to himself at the thought.

As the three would leap from the plane they would land in an overgrown sports track located behind an obviously abandoned school. Behind the school and immediately visible to the three would be two sleek black cars immediately noticeable to the trio, but hidden away from the road.
Inside the school Thundershock finally stirred from his perch, having nearly fallen asleep in the old classroom with the warmth of the sun beating down on him. The alarm from his phone woke him and he was immediately on his feet again. He would walk out of the school and stand by the door, waiting for the three to reach him before offering them up a smirk.
"I hope rescuing this idiot wasn't too much trouble. You're all on time so I'm assuming everything went according to plan? You two did great work." He said with a nod in both of their directions. Had this been anyone else, he may have finished his sentence with a 'Thank you', but Thunder wasn't any other man. He said his piece and left it at that.
"We'll take the cars back to Tokyo, you two will ride in one with my driver, and Nick, will be with me. If you two need somewhere to stay while the media raids this story, you're welcome in my little hideout. If there are no objections." He really wasn't giving the kids much of a choice on the matter, but he knew it wouldn't sit well with them at all. Well, he assumed it wouldn't.
Regardless of their answer, Thundershock would then move towards the car and everyone would get into their respective vehicles to leave the old school.
And with that, Nicholas Cross was freed from Prison.
