One blonde walked into a bar (Julen)

Julen had been hanging around a bar watching the sports festival on TV, he didn't really care much about the majority of riff raff there since they were inexperienced children. All except for one, his half sister melody. He watched her fights rather closely, she lacked direct strength at the moment but she did have an incredibly flexible quirk. He was jealous of her, Julen took a sip of his beer and kicked his feet up on the table clicking his teeth. Damn it thunder, why did you say to bring her in? Julen had no idea what to do with her afterwards, she obviously wouldn't stay or behave damn it.. he was a regular here and the bar owner knew who he was and to let him do what he wants.

He sat there staring at the TV pondering what to do when suddenly a familiar face appeared at the bar. Well this was unprecedented, a young girl in a bar? Also it's a girl he's met before, a U.A student to boot... Julen chugged the rest of his beer and stared at her for a bit. he walked towards her and pinched the phone out of her hand. "Well hello there, lost again are we?" he said with a small smile on his face. He put a hand on her back "Why don't you come over to my table, I want to have a little chat with you." he said gently "You know Thunder's very interested in how your doing since that little experiment." he said last to remind her who he was, after all they didn't even speak.

A slight chill of annoyance ran down Julen's spine cause he was TERRIBLE with children. He was a child at one point but honestly he really had no idea how to handle them. When she shot him a look he shot back an even more intense one, he was NOT going to be intimidated by a little girl especially not when he's met people worse than her. "I just want to talk. Did your boyfriend get back safely? What was his name? Akio?" he said in a curious tone, showing her he had done his homework on her. He was no moron he knew she wouldn't do what he wanted unless there was something forcing her to. Thunder's goon had reported details on akio when he was knocked out during the first meeting with this young girl, his wallet had his student id and a picture of his face. Julen never forgot a face once he saw it.

He would lead her over to his table in the back of a bar, 2 other men were at the table already smoking with him. "Leave us." he said as they soon stood up and walked away with a fast pace in their step. "Are you hungry?" he asked before lighting a cigarette too and taking a deep inhale. "I know you don't like me, and quite frankly I don't care, that's fine, but I need you to do a favor for me." he said as he sighed, "Have you met a girl named Melody Miro in U.A?" he asked the young blonde who wandered into the bar.

Julen rolled his eyes at the girl, GOD she was being a total pest and didn't understand his thread at all from the looks of it. Whatever he didnt really care. "Sure he is and fine." he said taking the cigarette out and putting it into the ash tray and putting it out. "Honestly. I thought you'd be a bit more mature about this. You're rather dramatic." she said monotone "Ill be frank with you. I want you to report information on Melody Miro to me." he said getting straight to the point. "I'm a person very close to her family who died before she came here and I was tasked with watching her from the shadows." he said sighing as he crossed his arms. "But she hates me so I cant really show my face around her." he explained

"Just mentioning my name is a no, she'd hate you for it." he said with a small lie slipping from between his lips. She had no idea who he was from as much as Julen could tell, melody was oblivious to her father's side from what the documents from their side of the family left.  "But I have a job I need to honor so I need your help. It was her mother's wish. Please." he said as his eyes stayed perfectly calm but his hands gripped each other. His acting was starting to get pretty good..she did ask Julen to please watch melody..but he never answered her maybe it was a yes in his mind?

Julen was surprised she only had one response to what he asked of her, even to him it sounded shaded and he was sure she was not stupid. Why did she even keep entertaining him? She wanted something. "What is it you want? Surely you only stuck around cause I can give you something." he said sitting back as he crossed his arms, this girl's body language SCREAMED annoyance. Why was she in such a grumpy mood?

God what is with this little brat? Julen seriously hated kids, they made no sense half the time. "Do you want money?" he asked "Or do you want minions? Power? cmon name your price." he said with a small grin, as he tried to figure out exactly what it was he wanted.  He did make his intentions clear however, he refused to back down against this little "shit." he leaned in and interlocked his fingers in front of his mouth and spoke " Or do you want training on your quirk? Ya know I could offer better training compared to that crappy school." he said watching her eyes, "I'm sure they have drill practices and routines and stuff but they limit you with rules." he said trying to sweeten the deal, "But I could offer you real situations, that's the best way to grow. Under duress and real stakes." trying to tempt the girl with promises of power "Cant guarantee your safety but i could guarantee you'd grow." he said realizing that Thunder could also monitor the girl's promise after he let Julen know about his little...experiment.

He raised his brow at her, she was an odd one alright. He placed his hand on his chin, wondering what answer to give her, what should he do...he took a moment to pause "Just call me Mr J. Can have you ratting my out to the police just cause I'm linked to him can I?" he said to the girl realizing that it'd be a terrible idea to give her his actual name, his role was to stay hidden so he could be out and about in public. She then went on to explain that she may not be the best person to help with keeping tabs on the girl...but then again Julen didnt really have many options.

"Well then become close with her, or her friends. Find a way in, you give me enough info im satisfied with then I'll teach you a thing or two." he said taking a sip of his beer. "However, if you ever speak a word of this to anyone else it's over. I'll make sure that all of the yakuza in tokyo will come down on you and your friends. Got it?" he said being serious, he knew he was taking a huge risk here and he needed to make sure the girl didn't do something idiotic.  He also began to gain a bit of respect for her as well, while he hated children he only hated her because she knew what she was doing. She wasn't an innocent like many would think she is from her looks, he saw inside her there was a demon that was to be feared, and he respected it.

After all not many would meet with a Yakuza and still keep their pants in tact with...an unfavorable liquid. But his mind was getting side tracked "Well meet after your sports festival, I'll be watching.  Here, this is my burner phone number." he said handing the girl a small piece of paper with a number scribbled on it. "I'll be waiting for ya. Good luck." he said with a small smirk on his face, this was sure going to be an interesting turn of events.
