Niso’s approach to chaos was certainly not a conventional one by any means, but in many ways he was still appreciative of it. Since his prior life had been so mundane he’d been making everything about his new life as extravagant, eccentric, and unusual as possible. Even out in his normal life he tended to either prefer bright colors, or clothes he shouldn’t rightly wear, such as his old school uniform. Despite no longer being a student, and having moved to the opposite side of japan to his old school, he still often adorned the black blazer and pants that seemed so overly formal before, but now the creased fabrics and sharp edges it could have seemed so…oddly out of place amongst the smooth and casual shirts many people wore out on the streets. Of course his street clothes still had nothing on his actual costume for his more chaotic acts, standing infront of a cracked mirror he made sure to adjust everything about it so it was absolutely perfect, grinning at his reflection as he tugged the sides of his bowtie to make sure it was just right…
Though…was it right. Taking off his top hat he ruffled his hair and planted the hat firmly back on his head before adjusting his tie again. His hand covered it so he couldn’t see his reflection, and slowly drew down his form, the once present bow tie suddenly replaced by a long tie as it settled into place, narrowing his eyes further as he harshly examined himself. Tonight was to be his first true show as a villain. Many unexplained events, unsolved murders, extravagant, bloody displays…but this was it. This was the show he had to do it just right…『Okaaaay…』He repeated the motion. His bowtie re-appearing in place of the long tie, and then the long tie, bow tie, long tie, bow tie, long tie. His eyes squinted as he harshly examined his reflection, sighing as he settled on the bowtie. 『Okay, guess I’ll have to work with this…maybe if I buy one made of actual silk…HAH. Buying for shit. Yeah right. You’re hilarious me. Thank you me.~』 He bowed to his reflection enough for his top hat to almost tip off his head, but narrowly catching it as he stood full length again. He wasn’t entirely happy with his costume yet, but the fact he could even make an entire tailcoated suit, a top hat, and a red lined cape with his quirk was something he couldn’t do a year ago, back when the most he could generate was a single wooden bat, but now, he could generate the tools he needed to truly have fun. Rubbing his hands together like he was warming himself up, he slowly drew his hands over his closed eyes and opened them again, now viewing the world through the slightly whitened visor of his dominoes mask, the eyes of which were a pure, oddly expressive white, akin to spiderman or Deadpool. This had truly taken a while to perfect. A fabric he could see through without having to reveal his eyes through it. How super heroes could do it so easily on their first go in the comics was beyond him, but he’d managed to pull it off in the end!
『Now…time for the show to begin!』 Flicking out his cape as he turned on his heels, he strutted out through the side door of the old cinema he’d commandeered for his show. It was amazing how many buildings were abandoned in the old villages of Japan. People wanted the true culture and experience of the city centers, so stuff like this never compared and often fell out of business. As such, not only was it incredibly easy for him to hijack the place for his own uses, but no one came here to examine it! He’d just needed to slowly kidnap one family at a time from the tiny village so no one they knew was left to desperately ask questions, and now he had an entire front row, all strapped by chains to their seats, some lingering on the border of unconsciousness from not having a proper meal for 3 days, but where many would see cruel and unusual torture, Niso saw his audience, twirling for them with a flourish of his cape and bowing deeply as they produced muffled cries of desperation through their duct taped mouths, especially frantic cries coming from the old woman he’d left tied up in a box at the front of the old cinema room, grinning ear to ear as he rose back to his full height, kissing his hands and blowing them to the crowd.
『Thank you! Thank you! You’re all too kind!』Pulling a wand out of his sleeve, or perhaps making one appear out of nowhere, even he could lose track sometimes when things could literally be willed into existance, he cleared his throat and moved behind the closed crate, tapping it a few times as if he was pretending to prepare the magic here. A young child seemed to be crying towards the middle of the front row. Ah children. Soooo easy to traumatize. Niso was either creating a future villain or giving a therapist a lot of future business, and he found both equally evil in potential. 『Now as you can see there is nothing wrong with this box, no gap in the middle, I couldn’t pry it apart even if I wanted to. So, lets see what happens if I do this the hard way shall we?』Niso grinned nice and wide, resting his top hat on top of the box, and with a wave of his magic wand above the rim, he dipped his hand into the depths and slowly withdrew something that had no right fitting in his hat, his whitened eye spaces on his mask growing wide as he pulled out a nice, big, meat destroying chainsaw, the wide grin on his face punctuated by the muffled screams of his entire audience.
『Now, lets work some MAGIC!~』

The night a mass murderer saw as his big, prime time debut, a bored hacker saw it as just your average friday, an extremely dull one at that. The shut in had been spending far too much time outdoors, so tonight, she'd much rather stay in and find something to do online. She'd played some Counter Assault, made some cash off Crypto money, and now here she stood, with a bored look in her eyes as she eyed the quarted of brightly lit screens before her, contrasting with the dim red glow from her humming, high specs computer. "Shit, this sucks...", she sighed, bringing the blazing joint to her lips, rolling around left and right on her comfy chair, pushing herself around on the balls of her bare feet, scratching her waist, and finally leaning her head back, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke into the air, "I shoulda just hit someone up and went out..." Immediately thinking of Yumi and Meiko, and promptly clicking her tongue as she recalled not really asking the latter for her phone number. Sure, she could proabably find it with some online stalking if she really wanted to, but too late for that now anyway. Anybody who planned on hitting the clubs had either already done so, or had no such intention at this point. Perhaps she could just play another round of Counter Assault...? Nah, she'd been doing that all night, inbetween joints, right now she'd just rather roll around her many chat rooms until something interesting came along. A moment that finally arrived once an eye catching message popped up on a deep web chat room: "Holy shit somebody's doing a snuff film...!" "What the actual fuck...?!", her eyes widenened, reflexively leaning into her desk, fighting off the weed-laden inertia as those speedy fingers deftly tapped away at her keyboard, replying to the chat window nigh instantly. She didn't even chide herself for immediately feeling how her night had suddenly turned interesting, rewarding the decision to stay home. In the end, she really wasn't in the mood to idly sit by doing nothing if random people really were about to get killed in front of her eyes...
Or maybe she simply loved the challenge of stopping a massacre from so far away. That's what she told herself at least, to justify a budding sense of heroism she'd never really accepted... "Abandoned cinema huh... Wow, that's original.", mused the blonde, rolling her eyes and scoffing sarcastically, holding the joint between her lips, taking a good puff as she got every bit of information she could from that menacing live stream. A small electrical spark flew off her hands as she activated her quirk and connected to her computer, letting her probe for information much faster. Figuring out an IP address came easily enough, but actually breaking into the system took a bit longer. Despite her focus, Kanna kept an eye on the flashy killer, eyes widening when he pulled out a fucking chainsaw from his top hat, "Holy shit... Still not original, but damn, kid. You're one messed up little prick." Kanna wouldn't even outwardly admit she found that a little impressive, gruesomely so. Not that she was about to let him have his way with her pride on the line... If anything, it made her push her Quirk harder, more sparks flying off as her electromagnetic control of data kicked into overdrive, until her frowning focus gave way to a satisfied grin as she she tasted success... She got in! Tac...! With a decisive keystroke, information travelled at the speed of light, from Kanna's apartment to the cinema on the outskirts of Tokyo. Where all of sudden, the lights would inexplicably go out.
Villain and victims alike found themselves in the dark in not one but two ways, the evil showman devoid of his much needed lighting, effectively grinding his act to a halt. How exactly he'd react to it was beyond her, but if she did nothing, all of these people wouldn't last long...
Seeing that guy dressed in a magician's wardrobe, practically dripping with killing intent - so seething she could feel it from the other side of the screen - she thought back to a few odd murders she'd caught wind of lately. This couldn't be a coincidence, right? It really was do or die: If she did nothing, all these folks were goners. If her actions made the startled murderer jump into his grisly deed, then nothing would have changed. But if her interference bought them some more time, then she may yet have a chance at stopping him. She'd let them all stew in complete darkness for the better part of a minute, thankful for the wifi connection this hacker needed to get data from his camera. To think a pervert's attempt at filming random couples hooking up inside a cinema would come in handy like this... Go figure... Now she not only had eyes on the action, but a good foothold inside the system, steadily expanding it as time went on. Soon enough, she'd have taken control of the projector itself, shooting very bold, upfront words on the movie screen: YOUR MAGIC IS SHIT "I run the show now, bitch.", she'd say, snickering triumphantly; soon followed by an audible cruch as she guided another salty nachito to her waiting mouth, eyes glued to the screen, hardly blinking even as she leaned back and smirked, wondering just long she could delay the impending murder, "...Your move." The fact that she could smile even in this situation made it far too evident Kanna herself was far from exactly sane... She hated watching people be abused and victimized, hated the abusers even more, and it absolutely loved watching the look in the eyes as all their plans and control went down the drain.
Putting her still lit joint atop an ashtray, she cracked open a nearby can of monstruous energy and got ready for a long night. For these people's sakes, it better be long and stressful... At the very least, until she managed to call the cops on this guy; not like they'd get there in time if the murderous magician had his way.

“Ooookay lets see if we can get this thing working!” Resting the chainsaw he’d ‘conjured’ atop the box his subject was resting upon, Niso drew his hands back and rubbed them nice and thoroughly together like he was warming up the magic, brushing them against the front of his suit before resting his hands back on the chainsaw, one hand grasping the handle of it tight while the other grasped the rather old style pull-handle he’d generated the tool with, tugging it hard, the chainsaw revving up nice and loud as it tried to get itself to work, another tug seeming to get it a little closer to the needed result, and finally, an ultimate third pull and the chainsaw’s blade’s were spinning very effectively as Niso lifted his tool off the elevated box, the muffled screams growing louder and louder while a few members of the audience solely resorted to tears and whimpers.
“Now, I’d like to remind the audience to not try this at home. I am an untrained, anti-professional, and I heavily advise you leave this to me.~” Sticking out his tongue in an almost playful manner, Niso lifted the chainsaw up above the box before him and began to slowly descend, the spinning blades of his tool just beginning to saw away at the corner of the box when suddenly, the light’s went out. Niso’s muscles instinctively retracted his deadly tool, his vision still allowing him to see a little bit around him but not much, the already dim lights of a cinema meaning his eyes were pretty adjusted to the dark already. Nonetheless this was not part of the act, and while some of the audience sighed in relief, the others whimpered louder, feeling it was worse to be toyed with rather than just get this all over with.
“Hmmm…suppose I shouldn’t have trusted this old place to keep its lights on…” With a heavy sigh the whirring of the chainsaw stopped, and Niso rested the now harmless chainsaw on the box again, the poor person trapped inside registering the extra weight as they were left so helpless in the dark. Niso rounded the box and stumbled into the audience, walking up the long clear line between the seets towards the door at the back that’d lead to the staff only areas from the cinema’s functioning days.
“Don’t worry my adoring audience, all shall be sorted soon and the show WILL continue!” Beaming brightly even though his audience could not see, Niso reached inside his sleeve, about to produce some copper wire and see how much of this he could fix with his limited knowledge of wiring, when with a soft click the cinema lit up again, a dim white light bouncing off the screen at the front and filling the stands, Niso’s white clad eyes turning about and spotting the screen.
“…heheheh…” A weak, surprised chuckle escaping him, Niso walked right back down from the elevated seats at the back, examining the lit up screen and eyes scanning back to the projector, wondering who on earth had managed to not only sneak in here without him noticing, but was also dumb enough to get his attention. Taking off his hat once more, Niso dipped into it and withdrew handgun, resting his hat upon his head and running his fingers along the rim in a flashy little motion as his outstretched, gun toting hand pointed up to the gap in the wall with the projector behind it.
“You know these walls are quite thin! You can hide up there but if I fire enough I AM gonna hit you.~” Of course, Niso’s threat was actually rather hollow. He had no idea how to make a working gun, let alone the bullets inside of it. In fact the gun was a more detailed version of a toy he’d once seen that, when fired, would just make loud banging noises. Blanks were not even fired, it was just a loud clacking mechanism that would echo very well in here, and hopefully scare his odd little invader. To make sure they at least heard a shot, he lifted the gun and fired to the ceiling, the confused crowd screaming and shifting harshly as the sound of what they believed was a gunshot hit their ears.

A few seconds... That's what she'd just bought this guy. Kanna took a swig of her drink, munched on another tortilla chip, and watched the reaction. As her desire to stick to it to this guy mixed with the unassumed urge to save those people, she had a cheeky little smirk on her face the whole way, yet at the same time felt a bead of sweat dripping down her forehead, like she was inwardly counting every extra second she bought these people, wondering how many more she'd need before the cops came in to save them: "Now where the hell are the heroes when you actually need em...?", she mused aloud, a frustrated hint at how everybody relied on pro heroes to come and save them, but they were just people like all others, doing their job. They could only save those they could reach... Knowing this, Kanna's idle hand took care of getting in touch with the police, wiring them the video stream and everything they could reach. It would take a while for them to verify that video was indeed real and people were really about to get killed, cause God forbid they get off their asses, stop eating donuts and actually go fucking check it out. "Tch... Too many incompetents, too little time.", with a grumble, Kanna picked up her joint and took a hit, returning her full attention to Niso, whose somewhat predictable reaction had her snickering quickly enough, keeping her hand on her keyboard and typing away. Guy still looked confident enough, certain the interference stood next to the projector, and pulled a gun seemingly out of nowhere. She scoffed, puffing on her smoke with a hint of irony, blowing a smoke ring into the air, "Yeah, that will work~" Mere instants after he finished his supposedly threatening statement, a boisterous, cracked up laughter echoed through the speakers, a sound clip taken straight from a famous movie, perfectly timed as if this mass murdered has just delivered his killer punchline. That piercing laugh deafened the frightened, muffled screams of the hostages, perfectly hinting at how the person commanding the movies was far from the compassionate sort. But even if Kanna was somewhat of a psychopath herself, she clearly didn't compare to this guy. For now though, she'd bought the guy's attention to herself, and in return, she projected yet comeback on the movie screen: "If your shooting's as bad as your magic, I feel pretty safe." And adding insult to injury, she smirked and clicked yet another key on her computer. And what exactly did she do this time? Sitting back, watching with a sardonic laughter as she took a good, long chug of her energy drink, Kanna admired the handiwork as the sprinklers over the stage went off, showering both the killer and the hapless victim on the stage with him. There was of course, a method to all this madness, and Kanna hoped if anything: "Hope you like getting wet.", she quipped, smoking some more until her desk seemed shrouded in a thin veil of smoke, "Cause you ain't got a choice." Niso’s eye twitched as his bluff seemed to be called, even if the person behind the projector wasn’t one to know about it. His eyes narrowing behind his eye mask, he adjusted his aim and fixed his grip as if he was ready to actually fire the thin air loaded into this gun, a soft scowl hidden behind the elevated cuff of his cape as he considered his options. As creative as he could be, he hadn’t at all thought about how to set this up should someone act as an interruption…yeah. This just wouldn’t work. He’d made several escape plans, but someone who’d actually interrupt him, he didn’t have anything ready to stop-
PHSSHHHH
That…
Niso’s hat’s wide rim allowed him to keep majorly dry around his face, but his cloak was quickly weighed down with the water it absorbed, and his victim squealed as, facing upwards, the water was constantly pouring down into their lips whenever they tried to take a breath, or rolling down into their nose. They could still easily breathe, but it became far less pleasant.
“Right…” Tossing his gun away, Niso mimed rolling up his sleeves as he walked through the audience and up to the back of the room, growling at this little interruption to his show. He’d spent so long preparing. He’d picked the area his villain associate had been planning all his murders to maximize the fear he himself could instill, and here it was being turned into some joke by whoever was up by the projector. “I hope you realize who you’re dealing with!” A nameless nobody who hadn’t actually figured out his villain name yet, but this person didn’t need to know that.
Of course when he managed to knock through the old rusted locks of the projector room, no one was actually there, Niso approaching the small hole that the projector beamed through to the front of the theatre, watching the people he was holding captive struggle and squirm, confused by everything that was going on.

Huh...? He didn't shoot? Why didn't he shoot? Narrowing her eyes, the blonde took a chug of her energy drink, holding her smoke over the ashtray as the proverbial cogs inside her head turned at full speed, trying to figure out exactly what stopped the killer magician from trying his lucky shot... What could he have to lose? Nobody would hear a gunshot outside a well soundproofed room like this, was he afraid of wasting ammo? "...Either that, or that gun's a fake.", the blonde's words gave way to a quizzical rub of her cheek, putting away the drink as she mulled over why he'd bother with a fake gun in that case... Yet she wouldn't have too long ponder on hypotheticals as she soon had the golden opportunity she'd been waiting for. Yes, everything was working perfectly. She made no actions to stop him as he pulled away from the murder scene, leaving his victims alone. With this she'd bought at least one more minute, and yet she could still buy them yet more time. Even incompetent cops wouldn't take forever with hostages in danger right? Despite her relative confidence, Kanna felt a fair measure of anxiety, heart beating faster than usual as she tried keeping her breath and hands steady... She seldom got involved with villains as such, closer to a proper hero than her usual hacktivism: "Come on, you little bitch... Get in there.", she mumbled, holding the joint between her lips, inhaling deeply as she typed away at her keyboard, setting up her next move in advance. Once he entered the room, Kanna figured she had about two, three seconds tops for him to start figuring out exactly what was happening. At around that point, the hacker pressed another button, playing another sound clip from a different movie. This time, she didn't even chuckle or anything, nothing beyond a cocky grin as she fully realized the risky move she'd just taken. As she played that sound clip the lights would immediately go out, shortly after the evil magician realized nobody was actually manning the projector. How long would he spend wondering whether the operator was actually inside the building, or somewhere far away? He'd have no reason to assume somebody was doing it from afar, unless he happened to be aware of the broadcast Kanna used, the one she'd now given up: "Now, your move again...", mumbled Kanna, stuffing her face with Nachitos, watching the screen intently. Force of habit really, just as the magician went blind, so did the hacker. But she probably couldn't save all these people without taking some risks anyway... Devoid of any lights or sound to guide his way, he'd likely struggle in pitch black darkness. In the off chance that gun was indeed fake, he'd have no way of killing hostages from this far away, right? Even assuming he could aim, doing it in absolute darkness was a tall order, "Just a little longer... Run around some more just like that, punk." More than likely, he'd have to get back to the hostages do actually be able to harm them, and inside a pitch black room. And, as Kanna imagined, he wouldn't get there anytime soon, so she should have won at least another minute... Would those cops even arrive on time? Fuck... Where are the so called heroes when you really need 'em? Go figure... ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY
