I CAN'T FIND YOUR SILVER LINING ► How many days has it been? Looking down at her phone, watching the chat drift on by, The occasional picture and video uploads bad stopped. Big Sister no longer available to share her perverse joy in watching the drugged up students and teachers struggle. But unlike most of the chat, Noelle was sickened by it all. Especially since a good chunk of the chat learned about her past after pushing her into a rather venerable corner of her mind. Yet no one cared… but why would they? The chat was full of villains and while Noelle felt like she never belonged they though she was one of them. Big Sister had looked through her past and casted her judgement. Yet the more the dark-haired woman thought about it the less it sat with her. Could she allow it? More people could come out like her. While Noelle couldn’t remember too much of her lost decade, dreams of being rescued earlier had crossed her mind. But going forward would change everything and the Matron couldn’t be sure it would turn out well. Her whole operation, all of her girls, everything she held dear would potentially crumble to dust. But whose lives were more important? These thoughts had rattled around in Noelle’s mind for days now. Even after she anonymously tipping a local hero with a set of coordinates that lead to a quite part of Tokyo Park along with a date and time, the villain wasn’t sure if she was going to show up. But the note only said: “I know the truth about what’s happening at U.A.” So it wouldn’t be surprising if she decided to bring a lot of heroes with her. The issue at U.A. hasn’t hit the media to much yet. Yet Noelle found herself moving without much thinking, printing out pages of chat logs which she would possibly give to the hero. Taking some pants and a large red sweatshirt that smelt like alcohol she would head out with the left behind items in an attempt to hide her appearance. She hid the papers under the sweatshirt and walked towards Tokyo Park. She had left her cell phone at home so she couldn’t be easily tracked, but that didn’t stop her paranoia as she constantly looked over her shoulder. Eventually she would reach the park and sit on a bench. As expected this part of the park was empty with no cameras that she could spot. So not she waited and hoped.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy It was a rather pleasant surprise. While Sashi had been in the shower, pondering how she was going to react to the rumors that her father, Sato Ketsujo, had provided the blonde maiden with. Afterall, at this point, it had all been nothing more than rumors. Strangely, coinciding with these rumors presented by her father however, came a small text from a number Sashi had not known. I know what is happening. Interest piqued, Sashi wrote back to the number. Meet up with me. I am not interested in rumors from unknown numbers. With a little bit of convincing, the person on the other end agreed to meet in Tokyo Park. Hurriedly, Sashi was getting dressed. From what little the blonde could gather about her newest friend, the reason that she knew about what was going on at Yuuei, probably wasn't because she had been an unfortunate soul in the right place at the right time. In an attempt to not alarm, nor raise any kind of attention towards herself, Sashi had decided against wearing her heroic outfit. Instead, she was heading out in casual summers wear. A simple uniform, almost reminding of a school uniform in it's design. It considered of something akin to a blue jacket with the Ketsujo family symbol across her back, over a white shirt. From her waist to just above her knees, a brown red and black tartan skirt fell. Just deep enough to remain appealing, without being too revealing.Entering the park, of course there were a few that had kept their eyes on Sashi. Darkshine was one of the few heroe that had been approved by the Japanese government. As such, being in her presence was a bit of a big deal. Casually, the girl sat down on the bench, brushing her long blonde hair to the side. Not sure if the one seated besides her was to be her contact, the best Sashi could do was remain patient. Depending on how the following events would unfold, there were several way this little meeting could go. "A beautiful and warm day we have today, mmh?~" Sashi spoke in a soft, coy tone. There was something incredibly playful about the young blonde. Sashi was very clearly aware that she was attractive, and had no problem what so ever utilizing it. After all, everyone in the world needed to use the tools they were given. Charm and sex appeal just so happened to come natural to the blonde.

I CAN'T FIND YOUR SILVER LINING ► Noelle would hardly react as the hero sat down on the other side of the bench. She was doing her best not to raise attention to the pair. Hell, the Exotic woman was almost ready to call today a bust and just leave. Pulling her hood even more forward she would finally speak. "It's nothing but a nice coat of paint. What's underneath is hardly as pretty." While Angelic woman's large, bulky clothes did a great job at hiding her figure, her voice would betray her. "You took your sweet time getting here, you're late. But before anything is brought forward turn your damn phone off and take the battery out. Along with anything with a receiver. I didn't choose this place because of all the microphones that could be found here. You never know who could be listening in without our knowledge." Cold and unimpressed. A facade she threw on to hide the fact of how scared she was right now. Who knew if Big Sister's disappearance was planned? She could still be listening in right now. Not to mention the other big gamble sitting right next to her. For all Noelle knew, one motion of her hand could bring down so many cops that the chance of her escape was near non-existent, even if she flew away. "I hope you understand that I want to help, but this information won't come for free. I need to protect me and my own above all else." A simple request for Noelle to make. But with what she planned to ask this hero to do with the information would change everything. That is as long as the hero was true to her word. "I also need... something. Some that will prove you can be held to your word. With this situation we would need to plan our actions very carefully."

Mary hadn't done as much hero work as Sashi quite yet simply because she was still finding her feet on this whole sidekick business, and, on some level, she didn't quite take the job as seriously, but also more seriously at the same time. Sashi tended to be very by the book in her eyes, and more for the publicity than anything. Well, that wasn't fair, Sashi had a good heart under all the weird padding her parents had thrown into the mix, and Mary herself needed someone to keep her focused. On her own level she felt she cared more for the human needs of the people they dealt with, saving or defeating, so she had that going for her. More a symbolic hero while Sashi was far more the legal and public one, Mary enjoyed helping people was her thing, and hey if she earned some money and hung with Sashi at the same time, win win.
As for today Sashi had made it very clear she wanted her with her to this meeting, but Mary had honestly been zoning out a bit whenever she was getting told the details. Apparently some criminal was willing to give them info that could help a case? Great! Amazing! She didn't know why Sashi seemed so stern and glum when she talked about it but ho-hum, this just seemed like a great opportunity, one that she was actually running late for.
"Heeeey!~" Spotting the golden orange hair of her best friend, Mary was dressed fairly casually in a summer tank top and some loose shorts. Her toes were lifted as though she was skimming over to them on heelies, but clearly her brand of trainers didn't have wheels, and she was just using her quirk to avoid the walk. She was holding two ice creams in her right hand and one in the other, all Mr whippy style with cones. Popping up next to Sashi, she came to a gentle stop and offered out one of the ice creams in her right hand. "Sorry, huge line at the ice cream van." She looked to the criminal and smirked a little, offerng out the third ice cream she had in the seperate hand. "Hope I'm not interupting the juicier deets here.~"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Sashi was, in all aspects, just a teenager. The girl was not a seasoned, veteran vigilanté or anything such. No, the blonde was just in the right place at the right time, continously and effortlessly earning the respect of those around her. Partly because of her family name, partly because she was aware of how to utilize her looks, partly becasue her theatrics looked impressive. So, upon confirming that the one in front of her, was in fact the person with the information that she required, Sashi was loading up to go in gun's blazing. After I'm done with those villains, none of them will be able to threathen you, cause they'll all be in prison. The more info you can give me, the safer you'll be. A moment to inspire faith in the heroic community. A moment to cement Sashi's position as the dominant heroine in Japan, a moment to make villains tremble in fear. They would know who they were dealing with. They would understand her grandeur and never dare cause commotion in her territory again! They would offer her icecream!... Wait, what?Blinking in utter confusion, Sashi's expression was as if someone had just dunked her in ice cold water. Before Sashi even managed to begin the interrogation, begin on her epic speech to instill confidence, an icecream was being held out next to her face in an almost teasing manner. The expression on Sashi's face said it all. You're late, you're undisciplined, what're you doing?! You're making me out to be a big child! Gimme that thing! Yet, the teenage side, suffering in the heat of the day, praised the god's above for this ice cold tribute. Now that the icecream was already bought and paid for, it'd be a mistake to let it go to waste. Nodding to herself, letting the icecream go to waste was unacceptable. In an almost overly tsundere way, Sashi accepted the icecream, refusing to look at Mary in the meantime. The intimidation factor of the meeting had gone down the drain completely, as Sashi, through Mary's antics, was exposed as just a regular teenage girl. At least, in most regards. Still, it only took a few moments for Sashi to regain her composure. With just the tip of her tongue, she licked the icecream, almost sensually, deciding to take the conversation in an altogether different direction. One that was, quite possibly, more manageable than attempting to do an interrogation."This is Mary Leroux, my sidekick. We're not quite familiar with what has been going on. Would you please explain why you need protection, and why our electronics have to be turned off?.. The more you share, the more easily we can protect and ensure, not only your safety, but the safety of the UA kids as well."

I CAN'T FIND YOUR SILVER LINING ► The meeting had just started but the tension was already so thick that a knife would struggle to cut through it. Despite the pro-hero looking quite a bit younger then Noelle, they already seem to be starting off on the wrong foot. Finally being face to face with a 'hero' bringing up some buried thoughts the exotic woman had forgotten about. But something unexpected happened, and Noelle wasn't a fan of unexpected. The angelic woman nearly bolted once the second woman skated up to the pair with ice cream. She was even more confused when she was offered one. "Keep your voice down you idiot! We can't talk yet." The recovering addict would snap at the newcomer. "There are people out there with the ability to get into things you wouldn't never expect. I left my electronics elsewhere due to the fact they may already be compromised. She may be in your systems with out her knowing. You want anything else from me, turn your phones off and take the batteries out." "I should of told you to come alone..." The exotic woman still kept her hood up, regretting her lack of clarity on the matter. But she would snatch the ice cream from the new girl, Mary. Sniffing it to make sure there was no strange smell and waiting for the other two to eat their cones before gingerly licking the ice cream. She wanted to make sure it didn't taste funny. She had enough of drugs. "You don't seem to understand how dangerous of a game you are entering, nor how much I am risking by simply being here. Until I get what I ask for, you will get no information. It's that simple."Noelle would stare down at the now melting ice cream cone. She was in a tough spot. If Sashi planned to betray her, Noelle was confident in her ability to out run one person. Two on the other hand? It would be more difficult. But then something popped in her head. Something she could use to get a general gauge of the two heroes. "Let me tell you a story first...""Once upon a time, a lifetime ago in fact, there was a young girl. Like many of her generation she was born with a quirk. One so interesting that many vigilante groups calling themselves heroes want her to join, even at a young age. Not even to fight, but to run PR. Her quirk would make her popular among many. But the girl wasn't interested, and grew up telling the people to leave her alone. She didn't make many friend and eventually the girl drops out of school." Noelle would pause for a moment to catch her breath. "So the girl goes to working full time, as many jobs as she can to make it on her own. She grew up in the city so there are plenty of opportunities. But the girl wasn't happy with her life. The vigilante groups still wanted her to join. It was nothing but stress for the girl. So the girl started to party, going to bars and raves to dance, sing and drink her troubles away."Another pause, Noelle was doing her best to sound neutral during the story. She was doing a decent job at it too. "But not all stories have happy endings. One day the girl's drink was spiked and against her will, was drugged. After that the girl only knew the haze. Things happened to her, but the girl didn't really know what. But it didn't bug the girl. Until one day a miracle happened. The girl broke threw the haze. Confusion set in for the girl. She wasn't where she remembered. She was in a hotel room. Dressed in strange clothes. Surrounded by men and women she didn't know. The men were using the girls as toys, what the girl didn't realize at first is that she was nothing but a toy to these men at well. Until one of the men hit her, demanding for her to continue. But instead of accepting her fate, The girl rebelled. Holding dearly onto her moment of clarity she did the only thing she could think off, fight. By the end of it the only the girls remained. Everything one else laid on the floor in a bloody mess."
A third break. The story turned out to be a bit longer then Noelle intended. But she was almost done. " The girl and her new friends spent the next few days trying to figure out what had happened to them. Fighting off withdrawal from whatever mystery drug they where on. Some girls finding more of the drug and using it to get peace once again, even for just a bit. But what the girls learned shocked them. Especially the one who we are following. The girl learned that it had been over a decade. For ten years she was used as a drugged up pet to be used and abused by whoever bid the highest for the night. Some nights being used by multiple people. The people she had killed were some of the most despicable people she had ever encountered. But the now woman didn't know what to do. Everyone who ever known her most likely thought she was dead and there where so many more girls other then her and the others who where struggling. After talking to the other girls they would come to a decision. They would take over, care for the other girls. Only do what was necessary to survive. No more, no less."The exotic woman's ice cream had melted quite a bit by now. But her story would come to a end. "But in the end, that story is nothing but a fairy tale. But I told it to both of you for a reason. I ask of you. Who was in the wrong? The girl who took control of her life and discovering what could very well be her purpose? Or was it the so called heroes? Who harassed her for so long, only to never come when she truly needed them."

mary narrowed her eyes briefly at the both of them, Sashi in more of a playful manner, but the stranger in more of an actually serious nature, shrugging off her words and lifting the second ice cream back to herself. About to simply say 'more for me' before it was snatched out of her hand anyway. Oh so that's how it was? At least say thank you if you were gonna have the ice cream anyway. Geeze. At least she expected Sashi to never give a thank-you out of habit, and could just tell from even faint smiles later on that she'd be appreciative.
Hearing about electronical devices going down, Mary wondered if this was shere paranoia or if there were evil quirk users who could get into their phones at whim. Not wanting to risk it just incase, she reached into her shorts with her free hand and showed quite a bit of one handed dexterity as she popped open the casing with her thumb and managed to get the battery out all without releasing her ice cream, even taking a few licks of it as she slipped her phone back into her pocket, and lifted the battery between her two fingers as a display that she'd done as she was told.
She didn't wanna speak much, leaving Sashi to run the operation and fulfill her role as sidekick while she was still learning how this all worked, but she did not expect this long winded tale. Like, it was interesting, and certainly ended with an interesting question of the circumstances, but it was long all the same especially when they'd came here for information. Mary shared a look with her friend and then looked back to the stranger, lowering her ice cream and furrowing her brow as she tried to think of the conundrum.
"I don't think anyone is wrong...but to say anyone is right..." She couldn't quite find the words, her parents had somewhat given up on her when her quirk developed so her education and thus, her vocabulary, was far lesser than Sashi's, even if it was still faintly beyond that of the average joe. "There are lots of shades of gray in the world and I can't say what you describe is wrong or right on either side. There are things they did wrong, things they did right..and things that had to be done regardless."

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Noelle's edgy personality did very little to interest Sashi. In fact, it only served to irritate the blonde madame. In all honesty, the blonde figured that, if there were any repercussions for being a villain, they were probably well deserved. A villain attempting to set their path's straight were obviously commendable to some extent. Though, at the end of the day, most of their troubles were their own, and the police would help them as they saw fit. Thus, when Noelle began venturing deeply into an allegory - a fairytale meant to describe her options and paths - Sashi had utterly and completely lost interest. Focussed more on eating the icecream, staying cool and comfortable, eventually this little charade of storytelling bothered her enough to actually begin interrupting Noelle. "Look here, sweety. We're more than willing to assist, make sure you're protected, taken into protective custody by the police if they deem it neccessary. However, we're heroes. We're here to find out about this threat and deal with it. Legislation wise we hold no sway over what happens to you. All we can do is testify that you cooperated."
Looking at Mary, Sashi sometimes appreciated the other girls calm and patient demeanor. It was quite the contrast to Sashi's own direct and intrusive personality, that simply looked to get something done. Albeit, in this scenario, with this girl creating elaborate stories rather than coughing up what was going on, simply remained an incredible bother. It was like being called out, being offered information to prevent a disaster, then have to suddenly convince the person to give said information. A thought echoed through Sashi's mind, as the amethyst eyes sharpened onto Noelle. Bitch, you had plenty of time to consider these things before coming out here. Just state what you want from us already so we can be on our way. "You can either ask from us what you need, or you can withhold the information you claim you know. Either way, I am not in the mood for this little storytelling tea-party. I came here to end a threat to innocent kids. If you won't help me do that, you're useless to me."With those words said, Sashi slowly got to her feet, stretching her body, basking in the sunlight. The ball had always been in Noelle's court. Whether the woman wanted to play, taking a risk and preventing something that, through the story, Sashi was fairly sure she disagreed with wholeheartedly - or whether she wanted to sit on her hands, doing nothing, as innocent lives were ruined, were up for her to decide. Sashi could only offer so much in a bargain like this, especially considering she didn't know how reliable information Noelle could provide them with.

I CAN'T FIND YOUR SILVER LINING ► While only one of the heroes truly answered the questioned properly, it gave Noelle plenty of information on the two. So ignoring the 'hero' for a moment, the exotic woman would turn her attention to Mary. Which would in turn actually give her the importunity to see what her hood was hiding. "You say that now but what if what the girl was doing to finally get control over her own life would label her as a criminal compared to the average citizen even if she active works towards affecting as few people as possible? Could you truly say that the 'heroes' aren't in the wrong. By extension, wouldn't you think it strange that something like that could happen for so long without anyone catching on?"Since the ice-cream baring hero seemed a bit more inclined to cooperate, might as well try and dig as deep as possible. But Noelle figured she probably shouldn't ignore the hero for much longer considering how impatient the girl seemed. "I would prefer to remain unnamed. Yet having a hero on call who wouldn't disrupt my interests encase I need protection from who I am going to rat out would be nice. I am not a fighter, but I do what I can to protect my own. They are innocent and I couldn't live with myself if harm came to them. So to that extent if something would coincidentally line up with me for a blind eye to be turned. I doubt anything will, but since I imagine you both pegged me as a criminal without knowing anything about me I feel like I should state it."
Noelle would actively stop ignoring her cone now. She didn't taste any drugs and she doubted a hero would poison her. Besides unlike the other two who had finished their cones, Noelle's mostly melted all over her hand. "And I am here to end a threat to innocent children. If it's something I didn't want to do, do you think I would of risked my life reaching out? Like I said earlier. We are entering a game larger then the both of us. But you are young so take the advise of your elder and curb that attitude. It will garner you no friends and you seem to be putting your own ego in front of valuable information." This hero was starting to rub her the wrong way. Or maybe she did since they first met. But Noelle was getting flash backs from her childhood. "So if you can agree to what I need to the best of your opinions, sit back down and we can continue. Oh and I reserve the right to add anything else I can think off for protection so to speak. I imagine there maybe something I am forgetting. Besides if I remember correctly you still haven't disabled your phone unlike your friend her. You could learn a thing or two from her."

Mary wasn't all too surprised that Sashi didn't bother to answer the query put forth by the person before them, licking her ice cream as her friend put forth her no-nonsense attitude, while Mary, even knowing what was on the line, was a bit more 'all-nonsense' as she took what the girl before them was saying so seriously. Hearing her elaborate, she licked her ice cream again, getting to the cone now and taking a light bite as the woman came to the end of her words, swallowing before she spoke herself.
"I don't think any part of the situation was right or wrong. Your 'heroine' certainly got shafted by the world, but to say the people around her were all wrong...well, some definitely were, but the heroes...I don't know. Perhaps they were just sticking to their rules, perhaps they were corrupt. The world can never be black and white, and rules meant to portray it as such will always be imperfect..."
She then shrugged, sticking her tongue out, not realizing a last dollop of ice cream fell out her cone and landed near Sashi's shoe.
"But what do I know?~ I'm the idiot who worked in a maid cafe the past 2 years!~"
Taking another big crunch of her cone as the two of them continued with the more serious matter at hand, even if her face as a whole showed a silly demeanor, her eyes showed she was clearly listening closely, not much to add since Sashi was very much leading the way here, but she felt her presence may have been somewhat needed, if solely to make sure Sashi didn't seem too dismissive and impatient.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Rolling her eyes, it certainly seemed like Noelle hadn't been listening to what Sashi had been saying. When it came to protection or turning a blind eye, that was simply impossible. The contract that Sashi needed to fill out, did not allow her to simply allow villainous activities to go unchecked. If it was ever something that was found out, the punishment would be severe. "The kind of protection you seem to be asking for, turning a blind eye to villainous behavior, is not something I can offer. If people are endangered, I am contracted to act. Doing nothing or turning a blind eye, means I get punished severely. As long as you're not hurting individuals and forcing me to act, I wouldn't be acting in the first place." It seemed a little stupid of a conversation to the fair haired woman. As long as Noelle behaved properly around people, they'd be having no conflicts. Simple thievery and all of those types of crimes, the regular police handled anyway. The heroes were too few to play detectives. They were mainly dealing with quirk-related threats to society. The moment Noelle was a threat to society that regular police needed assistance on, Sashi could not refuse. Such was the contract. Noelle surely she was aware that a contracted hero would have to act if the government contacted them. It was really that simple. "If what you're asking for, is the allowance to call for assistance, if you're endangered, I would show up regardless. Your cooperation garners you mine, especially if you're beneficial in assisting me shut down crime. Just do not expect my cooperation or endorsement to allow you to perform acts of villainy. I answer to the government's decisions on those matters." Sashi, sticking her hands in her pockets, pulled out her phone. A bemused smirk on her lips, as she removed the batteries, shaking her head. This was such a strange situation. "You keep stating that this is much bigger than I understand, yet provide me nothing to understand the scope of what I am dealing with. I've told you what I can and cannot do. The rules are black and white. Bending them means I suffer the consequences. Can we cooperate, or can we not, under these terms?" Sighing softly, Sashi tossed her phone aside, into the garbage. It could always be replaced later, and at the moment she was getting rather frustrated with how this conversation was going nowhere. "..If you need more than I, as a hero, can provide, you need to contact the police. From the sounds of what you're sharing though, my protection and offer would be better than what a corrupt police force can offer you. So I guess, at the end of the day, your best option is to trust me. That is, if you truly want to save those kids."Cold and to the point, Sashi remained the no-nonsense part in this little hero duo. Mary being forever the empathetic and cooperative counterpart. Together, they made it clear that their words could be trusted, while simultaneously promising to get the job done. Even if their combined methods were ever so slightly unorthodox.

I CAN'T FIND YOUR SILVER LINING ► While Mary even admitted she may not be very smart, she certain was leagues ahead of the hero she had chosen to dealt with. Noelle wondered if she should of spent the time shopping around for a hero to spill too. "Look, I am just covering my bases. While I may need protection I doubt we'll ever meet again after this unless something happens. I have my own worries and responsibilities. But in this case I can't stand idly by."The idea of more people ending up like her in some capacity to any degree made her stomach turn. But once the hero tossed her phone away like it was nothing, Noelle no longer really had any reason to start. "I'll start with the information I don't know too much about. And will work towards the more details I can prove. Sound fair?" Although Noelle wouldn't exactly wait for an answer being continuing on. At this rate should would like to be rid of this unpleasant human being that had somehow been labeled a hero. "The reason this is bigger than you can imagine is because U.A. was drugged. From the inside. I can't confirm if it's staff, students or both. Just that there are some rotten eggs there keeping a close eye on what's happening. Either way, whoever did the actual act was able to move in there unnoticed. But I feel like there is more then one villain hiding in that school. But like I said, I can't confirm how many or who they might be. Just that someone was able to drug the food on campus." Hopefully the implications of just that would cause Sashi to realize some level of scope of what could be happening. "And for what it's worth my gut is telling me I wouldn't count of students. They are teenagers, emotional and if someone has the right leverage could be controlled. Or maybe they are just working under them. But that's pretty much just hearsay. I can't confirm numbers or anything. But as for who is taking credit..."The exotic woman would pause, her eyes still nervously looking around. Maybe she was just being paranoid. She would finish up some more of her ice cream, making her way down to the cone. While the frozen treat did help calm her a bit. It would be more then apparent that Noelle still wasn't the most comfortable. "A villain named Thundershock is taking credit and his hands are in a lot of things. He was also aided by some other villains I believe. From what I can tell he owned the company who created the drug. I believe it's original origin was to boost the power of quirks of something. Either way it was considered a failure due to the drug having an addictive nature. But this man is just doing this to make a profit. He owns one of the companies providing uncontaminated food to U.A., he has people in the hospital to help people recover. But if they relapse it doesn't matter. He still makes money. And I believe he was also behind the original production of the drug. His talons run deep and the reason I didn't drop this off at a radio or tv station is because I don't know if he has his hands in those as well."
Noelle would take a deep breath. "And I rather risk your lives. But I still feel that some of this information should become public. With how little he cares and the fact that he probably has the entire school drugged up, why not strike? Make the hero program seem weak. If you are careful with some of the information it may shake him up enough that he makes a misstep." The dark-skin beauty would rack her brain a bit, trying to make sure she didn't leave out any information. If she truly wanted to help she would need to be as accurate as possible. But then something did pop in her mind that she almost forgot. "But play your cards right you'll be able catch him. Because I know where he is going to be."

Mary continued to listen, feeling her position here was more just as aesthetic backup, and perhaps to capture the girl they were listening to should she run given her quirk was speed based. She had no official training in hero matters, so she had no idea how to approach this on a proffessional level, leaving it to Sashi who...while she was pretty sure had little training herself officially, probably had the better demeanor to handle this. Cops could look down on most criminals, sure, but Sashi had them beat when she could look down her nose at anyone.
Licking idly from her ice cream still, she stopped when the situation was finally put forward. A slow lick came to a halt as her eyes widened, and the creamy treat was lowered down to the point the ice cream just fell out of the cone and hit the floor with a soft splat, likely getting some mess over her shoes. All the while however Mary didn't stop listening, her eyes narrowing as she took in the reality of the situation they were dealing with. She actually forgot she had her cone in her hand, but her grasp on it didn't release on instinct, crossing her arms tightly with the cone still resting between her fingers.
Drugging kids, and supplying them with the means to heal their addiction? When Mary had thought of villains, she thought of random creeps blowing up shit for a laugh, but this? This was...heinous. He eyes were borderline as cold as Sashi's had been this entire conversation, and in truth, a part of Mary wanted to run off to Yuuei now and see if she could do something. She knew she couldn't. Anyone who was a part of this wouldn't be obvious, and it wasn't like the school wouldn't already be aware if they were being drugged somehow, so shouting 'don't eat or drink' would be a pretty mute attempt to help.
She listened, and made sure not to interrupt, but with a clarity and seriousness Sashi wouldn't be used to, she re-iterated the points made.
"A criminal named Thundershock is drugging practical children in the world's first hero school, and profitting off their addiction, whether they're fighting against it, or succumbing to it...fuck." She bit her tongue and turned around, grasping one arm with the other as she clearly struggled to stay still now, looking around as this turned from some little 'Sashi hero day' to something far more serious to her, looking back and just...chuckling in disbelief.
"I think I rotted my tongue repeating something so vile...Sashi...?"
She looked to her old friend, wondering what she thought of this. With her parents...even in her current position, she wondered if this registered with Sashi. In a way, she wanted to see the look in her eyes when it hit. She wanted to know if Sashi would be devestated by what was happening...or if there'd be some brief moment of 'glee' for this being her first big hero moment.
