Description: The mutation that had caused Nichi to be born an albino, has also caused Nichi's blood to refract and absorb light intensely upon contact. With the blood in its liquid refracting light and depending on the shape and amount of blood exposed: causing light rays to beam outward; concentrating light into laser-like beams; or causing light blooms and intense obfuscating glow. In a coagulated state, the blood absorbs heat from light and diffuses light like water. However once completely dried, the blood is inert and safe.
Effects:

   - Sunbeams: When fresh and liquid, Nichiho's blood reflects any light upon contact. In large pool of blood, about 500~ mL of it, the result is
a large bloom of light almost like a burning flare, emitting smoke and heat. Conversely, a medium pool of blood, between 200~ ml, creates a large laser-like sunbeam, which dissipates after 1 meter and causes medium damage. A small pool of blood, such as in Nichi's coins, (see Here Comes the Sun) creates small lasers that travel about 10 meters and cause minor damage.

    - Boiling Blood: When coagulated, Nichiho's gellified blood absorbs all light that comes in contact with it, storing the energy as heat. This boiling blood reaches as hot as a boiling pot of water but quickly dries out after a few minutes.
   

Drawback and Weaknesses: Nichi being an albino causes him to not only avoid light because of health concerns, but also because his exposed blood will boil him alive in his own body. Additionally, since his eyeballs need to be exposed to light, his vision during the day is basically blurred and painful, meaning he has to wear sunglasses or otherwise polarize certain light waves to protect himself. Furthermore, exposing his blood - such as in a wound or shaving - could accidently cause the Sun to burn or melt or disintegrate things unpredictably. It is because of these reasons and a poor upbringing that Nichi also has no real job prospects as he cannot operate well in bright office environments, dangerous construction sites, or in areas of employment that'll ensure a decent life.

It should be noted and obvious also that Nichi only has about 4800 mL of blood in his body, so he cannot fully take advantage of his quirk as he cannot endlessly generate blood and will harm himself if he extracts too much blood. Additionally the nature of his quirk means Nichi is constantly having to rely on tools and technology to safely use his quirk, as he needs to safely extract blood while also shielding it from any light. Lastly, the natural drawbacks of the quirk is that as the blood is exposed it inevitably dries out, with larger pools taking longer to dry and smaller pools almost instanteously drying out or burning itself.

Effect: Small, plastic coins contain a small amount of fresh or coagulated Sun. Carefully designed, the coins have sleeves that block sunlight from the blood. About the size of a half-dollar, the coins can be used to create small Sunbeams or to boil the blood. Almost always, this destroys the plastic casing within minutes.

Effect:Nichi's blood in his retinas and eyeballs refract light far more easily than a regular person's, allowing him to see in the dark. Albeit, he can never turn this ability off.
